I entirely missed the assignment in my prev ask...

In slugcat culture, say for example gourmands/monks/survivors colony, what sorts of leisurely or fun activities do you think theyd get up to or come up with? ways to entertain the children or eachother...That is, if they even have any time for games with all the survival they have to do every day. The question of how they spend their free time is interesting to me...

I don't have any interesting headcanons, but I like to think that maybe drawing stories is not just a thing for Gourmand campaign but a big part of slugcats' culture

My, how fascinating! These slugcats are very interesting to look at, each and every one!

I have always enjoyed the depictions of slugcats as being fluffy like the Hunter is here, and of course, the Artificer being very burnt and craggy goes really great with her bombastic colors—she literally looks like an explosion, and that's lovely.

The Rivulet looks like it evolved to blend in with reefs, which is always a fun design choice, and this Saint looks very awe-inspiring. If only it were real, I'd surely welcome it as the encroachment of the Void Sea it looks to be! It even looks very much like those apocryphal Echoes and Void Worms, which is only slightly off-putting! (In a good way.)

...Though I have to say, the Spearmaster looks a little more like a being that crawled from the void with those freaky eyes of its. Makes me shudder, that thing.

Scug design time! I was going to do a whole lineup for them with properly drawn refs a while ago, but clearly i just couldnt get myself to finish that. But recently i decided to just put all of them on the same basic scug blob base and i managed to get them all done!

A small test

I decided to see how recognizable a shadow of my slugcats are. After all, the shadow is an integral part of the character's image and how recognizable it will be. I want to practice creating designs and make them only better!
