BODYGUARD — VICTORIA HUGHES [Summer Writings]
Tumblr media
A/N: where is the fandom on this site? Nowhere to be found and only on Twitter! Easily became my fav fem character of the series and would have loved at least ONE MORE SEASON. Would definitely watch if they decided to do a crisis one spin off in the future. Anyways Vic deserves all the love she can get and it’s a special month so here I am—if you catch my drift 😉
SYNOPSIS: life in DC has taken some time getting used to but thanks to having Travis by Vic’s side she manages—although she’s sure she would have figured it out regardless! Vic has begun navigating Crisis One on her own and being in charge of a team leads to her spending the weekend with a member Vic’s not entirely sure likes her but decides to push her pride aside through persuasion of her best friend…later bringing on further rejection?
WARNINGS: curse word dropped + fem reader has southern roots + a few OC’s added just for the purpose of this mini story + mentions of injuries and procedures & Travis still being Travis…
<- read my previous summer anthology fic here.

~WASHINGTON, D.C.~
A few bruises, a very large angry mosquito bite, and the stench of a cigarette is the first thing Vic notices when she spots you looking out into the distance above the river. You’re not far from where your RV is parked along the growing grass and Vic snorts to herself, realizing that you weren’t bullshitting when you chatted about your ride/home down at the center. You were the first to show up before everyone else on the official start of crisis one (always on your electric scooter with a seat attached and a small wired basket in the back) tipping your, “bless your heart,” trucker hat in greeting along with a apple lollipop hanging in between your lips.
Granted the crisis one team would all receive their uniforms in due time but it certainly wasn’t what Hughes was expecting just based on your file and word of mouth from HR. Vic liked to say she handled herself well trying to work with this new team but there was something about the woman from Texas that liked to throw Vic for a loop.
“Just go over there and hint at the idea of spending some one on one time together,” Travis whispered to Vic who threw her hands up in the air in annoyance.
“We’re not even supposed to be down here! The event is back that way and I don’t even know why I let you talk me into taking a walk.”
Travis gave her a side eye, “hey, I stopped you from jamming a foam board over Duke’s head, you should be thanking me.”
Duke Conway was another member of Crisis One, a bit of a airhead surfer dude that came from a wealthy family that also helped fund this program. The event held vendors that showcased many programs over the state that didn’t mainly cater to mental health services but also just health in general. There were pamphlets, foods proven to uplift your health, demonstrations, games and even other various of activities for all sorts of ages! It was a beautiful scorching hot day out here at the recreation area that felt as big as Central Park! It also started off as a good day until Duke began blabbing to the others about how he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to purchase this new surf board on this salary (yes in DC!), purposely ignoring this elderly woman who wanted more information on crisis one.
That ticked Vic off since she always has a soft spot for the elderly, her personable trait coming into play as she assisted the woman, apologizing for Duke’s actions and answering most of her questions before Travis took over so Vic could tell Duke a thing or two. That of course led to Duke still being oblivious and Vic ready to flip on him since he’s done nothing but kick back and act as if this was some chill weekend outing.
Which led to Travis leaving the booth in Vic’s second or third in command—Travis always assumed it would be you and should be since you two seemed to work together best besides the few times you agree to disagree but instead it went to Duke’s cousin on his mother’s side, Arlington Wraith. Who was a bit of a classist snob but agreed with Vic on their cousin’s stupidity but felt they should be the only one that got to say it—despite Vic out ranking the both of them.
To cool off, Travis and Vic decided to take a walk and now Vic felt like maybe this wasn’t the best idea. The braided haired leader wasn’t sure where you ran off to since one minute you were there with the rest talking to a man that approached the vendor and then in the next you were yards away.
“Thanking you for what exactly?” Vic pulled her bottom lip into her mouth by her teeth, then used a finger to scratch at her scalp in confusion, “Trying to meddle with my love life?”
A freckled face Travis lolls his head around, “Vic it’s been how long since we’ve been in DC?”
Vic lifted her shoulders exasperated, “I dont care and I don’t need to constantly be in a relationship.”
“Who said anything about that?” Travis replied with a frown, “You two may just have sexual chemistry.”
Vic rolled her eyes at this, finding this statement to be so typical of her best friend.
“Again, been there and done that! And this isn’t even what this day is about. I’m supposed to be working and she should be too which means we should only have our heads in the game.”
Travis shrugged, “well maybe your head can be in her game.”
Vic twisted her face in disgust as Travis laughed to himself, “I can’t believe you just said that cringy garbage to me and if you want to be horny—save it until one of your late nights down at those clubs you spend twelve hours in, it’s like you think we’re in Europe or something.”
“Hey, I’m single and like to have fun.” Travis argued with his hands raised.
Vic mumbled, “Yeah that’s your problem.”
Travis fires back, “And your problem is not being laid enough.”
Vic pinched the space in between her brows, “Travis…I love you truly and i broke my celibacy a while ago and still chose to focus on my work even after that but we’re older now. Supposed to be smarter even! I’m pretty sure I’ve had this conversation with you before but I think I’m ready for more than just a lay again. I’ve worked so hard to be here and sure of myself and I want to share that along with having an endless love that lasts until I’m ready to kick the bucket.”
Travis softens his teasing as he reaches to grip Vic’s shoulders and then caressing them, “that’s sweet and I love that for you but how do you expect that to happen if you don’t take another leap of faith with someone that’s right in front of your face?”
“Again!” Vic yells, “Did the whole dating a co-worker and someone that works in the same field as me.”
Travis nods his head knowing of Vic’s dating history, “fair but you’re the one that thinks she doesn’t like you…and you could at least try to be friends since it’s actually nice having someone in your corner in the work place. I mean hey look at us! So go over there and just try.”
“You’re acting as if I’m some kid at the park that’s scared to go play with the other kids or something.”
“Well I think you are honestly,” Travis states making Vic raise her brows in disbelief, “it’s just you and I out here and I know someday will be the day where you’ll want to build a family—outside of me—with someone else and she might be the answer to that.”
Travis didn’t mean that in the sense of having children since he was sure that really wasn’t in Vic’s cards. She liked being the cool aunt to Maya and Carina’s kids and basically being the godmother to Pru, who she shared conversations with every other day but a family didn’t always have to mean producing children, it could be with the people you already surrounded yourself with.
“What exactly am I even going to say? It looks like she’s in deep thought along the horizon and I’m not sure I want to disrupt that.” Vic makes excuses now, molding her lips together as she awkwardly swayed her hands back and forth.
Travis gives her shoulders a shake, “you’re Vic Hughes…I’m sure you’ll manage,” before he circles around Vic to lightly shove her in the direction of a potential love interest, “I can confirm that they also identify as queer.”
Vic whipped around to face her best friend who grins at her, “how? What? That doesn’t automatically mean—
“Sure it doesn’t but I didn’t exactly get the chance to ask if you’re her type.”
“Uh, I’m glad you didn’t! You’re so embarrassing.”
“That’s my job. Now shoo!”
Vic glares at Travis who sends her a thumbs up in encouragement. Turning to face where you stood, it appears that you’re now facing in their direction, watching their exchange but Vic isn’t sure for how long. You pluck the cigarette forward, leaving Vic to pause and shake her head as she now charges forward to stomp it out.
“Seriously?” She holds her hands down at the stomped out lipstick covered cigarette.
Your hands goes to your hips as you await for Vic to get closer, “what?”
“Not only are you killing the environment but also your lungs and possibly other organs, you do realize that don’t you?”
“Sorry mom,” you respond while Vic rolls her eyes.
Vic fans the air before taking an inhale, “What’re you doing all the way out here instead of you know, helping back at the vendor?”
You blink, “it’s actually my day off but I pushed myself to be there since I’ve been parked out here for awhile.”
“What?” Vic looks off to the side in thought, “I don’t remember that on the schedule.”
You joke, “ah, forgot all about me as soon as Duke and Arlington showed up instead huh?”
“Yeah because they give me ulcers.”
You chuckle, “And what do I give you?”
“Hmm…Second-hand smoke?”
“That’s my first one in six months!”
Vic folds her arms, “You’re right, I remember you saying that you quit so that adds more to my disappointment.”
“Oh no, what will I ever do without the approval of Victoria Hughes?”
“Okay, I’m the only one that gets to be sarcastic here.” The brown eyed woman points, leadership kicking in just a bit.
“It was more snark but—
“Whatever! I’m here to ask about your well-being.”
You stare at Vic then, “You don’t need to do that.”
“I know I don’t but if everything doesn’t flow right then I need to check on the state of my team to make sure that it does and I can tell you’re not exactly thrilled about that but…you’re on my team.”
Watch this curveball, “Right…and you’re deflecting from what you really came over here to ask me.”
“Excuse me?”
You’re waving your hand about now, “You and Travis really know how to use your outside voices so…go on ask me already.”
Vic blinks rapidly and tightens her crossed arms as she studies your shell of a face with a clear of her throat, “I don’t even know what you’re taking about I—okay.” She exhaled before continuing, “Would you like to go on a date or hangout with me sometime…even though I’m not sure you even want to be bothered with me?”
“Wow you’re really selling it,” you snort, “what’s the matter, been out the streets that long?”
“Okay, never mind. Screw this.” Vic whips around, ready to walk away until you speak again.
“I would have said no anyway.”
Vic halts and turns back around, arms still crossed as she sways from one leg to the other as the sun burned the back of her bare arms, “What was that?”
You shake your head with your eyes closed, “And not because I don’t like you or find you unattractive because that would be a huge lie. I’d say no considering I also put in time off because I’m getting surgery.”
Vic frowns for another reason now and not just at the rejection although her mind is still spinning, “oh…is everything alright?”
“Cataract surgery…I know that’s usually an older person’s problem but I beat the odds.” You unconsciously rub at your blurry eye, “They said it’s a mixture of genetics but mainly from trauma—
Vic exhales, “from that call we received a month ago? You mean to tell me you’ve been dealing with this since then? You were cleared, I saw that paperwork.”
Vic remembered that day, witnessing you double over after a schizophrenic patient rammed a pen right into your eye. The patient was calm until you turned back around to assist with wheeling them out of the home. Everyone seemed to miss checking the pockets of her robe, where a pen with a frog top was pulled and aimed right at an off guard version of you.
It felt careless and stupid and most of the team knew this. Errors were meant to be made and it should have been one of the first things they checked after securing her but it was a small pen that held quite the damage.
You nod, “yeah guess I wasn’t as cured as they thought. It’s only in that eye so it’ll take less amount of time.”
“When is it?”
“Thursday.”
“And you’re working up until that time?”
“Yup.”
“Well send me the information so I can check up on you.” Vic holds out her phone while you take it with a curious stare.
“This a way to get my phone number?”
“I can get it anyways,” Vic honestly answers, “but i also want the details…you do have someone looking in on you afterwards right?”
You shrug, not wanting to get too personal, “I’ve got Uber and Limbo.”
“Uh…limbo?”
“My ferret.”
Vic says, “You have a ferret…of course you do, you live in a freaking RV!”
You laugh as you send a text to your own phone, listing the details in the message before handing it back over to grab your own phone to send a thumbs up emoji, “if this is your idea of a date you’re more of an oddball than I am.”
“This isn’t a date! It’s simply checking in.”
“After I told you that I’m going to be preparing myself to get my eye scrapped like nails on a chalkboard.”
“I did not need that mental image.” Vic winces.
“I know,” you smirk.
“Are you nervous about it?”
“Do I seem nervous?” You question.
Vic does that thing where she talks fast but in this circumstance was to hide the fact that she may or may not being caring in different ways about you, “Some people tend to hide their emotions better than others so I can’t exactly tell.”
You lift your shoulders, “not really afraid of a little surgery but I’m open to you holding my hand later…if that’s not crossing a line that is.”
“It is crossing many since I’m essentially the head of crisis one but I was also the one who approached you about going on a date or hang out.” Vic exhales in realization that this was basically another pattern that she ultimately wanted to avoid.
Yet here Vic was acting up in the summer time with the stamp of approval from a best friend who still hasn’t gotten their own love life together.
Funny stuff, really.
You reminded, “Which I sorta rejected.”
“Until a later date.” Vic added.
“Until a later date,” you echo meeting Vic’s eyes, “…for now do you want a shot of whiskey? I’ve got some of the best in my humble abode…and don’t worry I’ll bring it out to you to avoid any other problems.”
Vic emphasized, “We’re on the job…”
“You’re on the job.”
“And you’re about to get me into a world of trouble aren’t you?” Vic laughs with her head thrown back, somewhat scared but excited to jump into what’s to come.
There’s a glint in your eye at that as you step even closer to Vic now who feels like she should be breathing regularly but knows that she’s not, “you’ll learn to love it if you haven’t already, Victoria Hughes…so? What do you say?”
She inhales with a pretty smile, “I say sure, I’ll take a shot but just one. I don’t know much about how you Texans get down.”
“I’ll teach you.” You wink, which makes Vic’s belly flutter.
“I have no doubts about that.”
“Good.”
“Great.”
“…I’m gonna walk away now so you don’t kiss me.”
Vic scoffs but her face is tight with humor,“Please get over yourself.”
You walk backwards to your RV, “Never, it’s what makes you so fascinated with me.”
“Oh god…I didn’t realize your head was so abnormally big!”
“With the brains to match.”
Vic pushed her lips out not even mad at that comeback, “…Alright I’ll let you have that one.”
You hum with another wink, leaving Vic for a few moments while Vic peers down at her phone at the text message, adding a name to match the number. When she glances over her shoulder, Travis is nowhere to be found—which actually makes Vic relieved until the creaking of your door hits her ears.
Down the steps you go, making your way back to Vic with your baggy ripped shorts, holding two shots of brown. Vic carefully takes it and holds it out to the center, “what are we toasting to?”
“Better beginnings?”
Victoria nods with crinkles by her eyes, “Better beginnings.”
“Should I be cheesy and say, together?”
“Please don’t.” Vic groans, “I’ve had enough corny for today.”
“Noted.”
They clink their glasses as you tell, “make sure you make eye contact or it won’t seal the deal.”
“So you’re superstitious?” Vic makes a mental note of that.
“To a certain extent but it’s common courtesy.”
“Fine.” Vic comments with a sigh as they briefly break eye contact to place their glasses to their lips before holding each others stares again.
One winces while the other grins, “to better beginnings.”

Gallavich headcanon: summer roadtrip
Once they’re both off parole they go on a proper roadtrip. They rent an RV so they can sleep in their own car, saving money on hotels and restaurants, but mostly because they love their privacy and want to take their home with them.
Mickey is a very sensory person and therefore prefers needs his own bedsheets that smells like them and not some clean, bleach stripped bedsheets at a hotel. He needs to see his and Ian’s clothes strewn about, their own food in the fridge and the comfort of their home with him when they travel.
Ian loves nothing more than making his husband happy while also saving money, so they both agree renting an RV/motor home is their best choice for their vacation. They can travel the country and have the experience of a lifetime while also saving money on hotels and restaurants by living in their car.
While they do eat at some restaurants and cafés, Ian prefers cooking himself and Mickey loves watching Ian cook.
Their armed transportation service has really improved, and with some help from Larry and Lip, they’ve managed to file all the right paperwork to make their business legal and profitable. They earn good money now, and thanks to Ian they’ve got a pretty sizeable savings account to live off of during their travels
Tumblr media
Mickey picked out the RV they travel in, as he wanted to do most of the driving. He sits in the driver seat, tuning the music while Ian “is a perfect passenger princess”. They talk and talk as they drive for hours, passing by cities and landscapes.
“Fucking love this man, just us in the van, no worries about work or if the clubs are late for pickups, just you and me man.”
Ian leans over and kisses his husband “I know baby”
“Also, we can fuck whenever we want with no worries about fucking neighbours hearing us, speaking of…”
“Oh hell yeah, pull over”
They spend days at the beach “just like you said, Mick”, rubbing sunscreen on each other, splashing in the water (and also fucking) before heading back to their RV to make dinner and drink beer in bed
Ian is the kind of person who buys those silly tourists fridge magnets from every state or big city they visit. Mickey says he hates them, but really he’s just annoyed Ian has no artistic vision and keeps placing them mismatch next to each other with “no fucking rhyme or reason”
They stop at several thrift shops along their way, buying kitchenware and home goods for cheap. New summer clothes and some smaller knickknacks for Debbie “she’s gonna be real pissed if we don’t get her something, man”
By the end of their trip they decide to purchase their RV and keep it for future trips and vacations. Neither man could really imagine giving up their new home-on-the-road and hand it back to the rental place. They had truly made it their own and felt attached to it.
“I think we should keep it you know. It will be worth the money, and we can use it for the rest of our lives” Ian smiled to his husband as they lay naked in the bed on their last day
“Yeah, don’t really wanna imagine anyone else in this thing you know. It’s ours man”

Taemin leaving SM; a retrospective rant from a severely uneducated and overly caffeinated fan.
I have thoughts about Taemin leaving SM and by extention Onew too. Might as well drag Minho and Key into this.
Since this is majorly about Taemin, let's talk about him first.
Taemin & SM (pre-NGDA era)
Taemin has been with the company for 16 years, closer to 19 if you count his trainee days. As an older shawol (LLO-era, got me whipped BAD), it was seriously out of the blue that Taemin would be the first to debut solo. SM at the time (i.e in their prime) was a vocal powerhouse and I genuinely thought Jonghyun would be the first one to go solo. SM made the right decision dedicating time and resources in letting him shine and 'Ace' was a phenomenal debut album for Taemin and really stamped that 'Taemin vibe/sound' we all know and love' Generally speaking SM not the best for promotions/scheduling, but the company still had their shit together when 'Move' came out, it felt like it was everywhere and surpassed the noteriety Guilty had achieved. I feel like when Taemin does variety shows, up to now, Move was always the most referenced and remembered act, even amongst the junior idols, that he did and thats because SM did go hard on promoting that song and picked a quiet month to do that comback in.
Taemin vs SM (during/post-NGDA era)
Somewhere along the lines, SM really dropped the ball with promoting Act 1 especially during Taemin's 'Criminal' comeback. They heavily prioritized their newer groups and suddenly their legendary acts were getting shafted with poor promotions and what felt like less dedicated management and resources. I recall, SM postponed the release for Criminal, squashed Taemin in Super-M activties and focused on their new acts while simultaneously over working them (honestly Mark has had such a hectic few years). My internal speculation/assumtion is that, SM figured that acts like SuJu, EXO, SHINee, GG and RV and solo/ duo units, wouldn't need as much dedicated promotions because they are iconic acts and they are fully dependant on fanbases to generate the buzz. Which leads me to my main hypothesis that after a few years of being active, SM really does not care about an artist anymore. Mind you artists that put them on the fucking map to begin with. SM won't double down on these artists because they believe they can't appeal to a younger audience. With the shitshow that was the Criminal promotions. SM really didn't do any better with 'Advice'. Pinning aespa's comeback a day before was a low blow instead of focusing on the talent that's about to go into the military, if they are aware enough to give Taemin a mini comeback so his relevancy sticks throughout his service, why damage it with an aespa release (that felt like it was to tactically avoid facing off the BTS release later than month) and basically doing NOTHING bar announcing pre-orders. Then we enter the 'Guilty' era. Which as we saw was a hit, but mainly because SM capitalized on the power of social media trends, placing Taemin in VARIOUS online contents and slowly dropped related media during winter. I mean we are still not over his 'Guilty' era, the Metamorph concert still has us at a chokehold. I 'd like to think that Taemin became more vocal in what he wanted and expected out of SM when he came back. Obviously the priority to them is/was SHINee and that's fair. DCM did really well with promos (althoughlike most shawols would say, LSM did have a major part to play with that). HOWEVER it was their 15th anniversary comeback last year and I feel like SM treated it like it was just another comeback instead of a major milestone. There were no interviews or press releases for Hard, when events were happening, it felt like it was gate kept to just local fans, like it made me feel like I was living under a rock because it was so last minute and I was not aware of anything. I want to believe that just because SM did an okay job now, excuses them for the last 3 years. What's worse is it's undeniable, Taemin lives to perform and it's no secret he sets some high goals and standard for himself and probably the toll 1) not getting to preform Guilty in GDA, despite wanting to and 2) probably not getting a solid backing for touring globally, despite very vocal fan support. I am not sure if anyone saw that SM forecast for the first two quarters of 2024, but it genuinely feels like Taemin knows that him and SHINee will not be a priority after promotions are finished. I hope I am not dense enough to assume that obviously SHINee has spoken about this privately and internally for a while now. It's really something you can't avoid talking about. Taemin has spoken to his hyungs, people in his circle inside and outside of the industry. Hopefully he is well informed and supported and it seems definite that SHINee is still active as a group.
Key vs SM.
Someone has already mentioned it but if anyone was leaving SM for creative freedom, I genuinely thought it would be Key. 'Bad Love' was an amazing release and Key fought with SM to release with his own brand/aesthetic. Because Taemin's imminent departure is so publicized, SM might be keeping the talks with Minho and Key super under wraps and trying to offer a btter deal. Although recently, bar Good and Great, SM has been using Key as a 'Variety' idol than an actual singer, which sucks because Key is super talented and if SM doesn't recognize that star power now, good luck to them. Also apparently, Kany is signed with BPM? I know she is close with SHInee in general, but I would assume it'd be Key joining her ya'know?
Minho vs SM.
Imma put it out there, the promotions for 'Stay for a Night' was lackluster? I feel like they treat solo Minho and SHINee Minho as two separate entities. Like yes there is a dualism of being a group preformer vs solo preformer. But on the rare occasion SHINee does get promoted Minho seems to get more attention, but as a solo artist, I don't feel the same love for his solo promotions. I hope Minho gets to write and contribute more, which I believe he does in the background. If he does stick to SM, I pray they open other avenues of artistry, primarily, he does really well with his acting roles and yes it really helps that he does fit the 'K-drama ML' look.
Onew vs SM
I feel like Onew gets the short-end of the stick out of the rest of SHINee, never mind that the man has the voice of an angel, but again, he is another one that SM never bothered to market right. It kind of make sense that he would want to leave the company and seek ones that would expand his career inside and outside of singing and while the one good thing SM did recently is make sure Onew was healing and taking care of himself, recent SHINee promo activities feels like they are treating Onew's break as a hush hush 'taboo topic' Honestly, bring back the era where our idols would randomly disappear during promotions because they were casted to be on-stage again. I am still forever clinging onto Onew singing opera, because despite him not being trained for that, he has the talent to do so. It'd be nice to hear him produce his own music, or give acting another shot.

hi it's a me 🤠 give me brocede + cheating (it's monaco it's traditional)
anything for u lover
lewis/nico | 1k | karting days
The way Nico slobbers over his vanilla cone is anything but pretty. You'd think rich white boys bred in tax havens would have better manners—but that's Nico for you. Nothing about him is sweet or stomachable.
"Want some?" he asks, licking creamy drip off his fingers. He holds out the last bite to Lewis, wafer crumbs speckling his lopsided grin. Lewis wrinkles his nose.
"You're disgusting, man. Anyway, I already won."
That was two in a row for Lewis. He could almost hear room service's raised brows when they rang for the third time, dead set on breaking the tie.
The trick was to never make eye contact. Just buckle down and get the job done. Five minutes, no cheating, loser pays. Most of the time Nico paid even when he won, but Lewis doesn't let that happen often enough to feel any type of way about it.
Nico shrugs, kicking his feet up onto Lewis's lap just to be a shit. "I'll get you back next time on track."
Lewis cackles. He's welcome to try.
Nico's eyes narrow. "Maybe I'll even celebrate afterwards with what's-her-name," he continues loudly. "Brenda— Belinda. She seemed nice."
His mouth goes sour. After last week's race, Nico had slunk off with some brunette with Rosberg emblazoned across her baseball cap. It was an hour later and eight of Lewis's fingernails chewed down to stumps before he swaggered out of an RV, his hair a mess and his belt through only half the loops. He'd looked as smug as if he'd actually won, instead of barely making the podium like he did.
Lewis had won that day, and it still grates on something in his core that Nico managed to beat him to this. He'd always thought—he doesn't know why, but he'd always thought that between the two of them, he'd be the first to fuck a girl.
"How was she?" He rolls his eyes at last, shoving Nico off.
Nico taps the side of his nose, palpably delighted at finally getting him to bite. "Come now Lewis, where are your manners? A gentleman never tells."
"That's why I'm asking you."
Nico grins, wolfish. "Wet."
So much for being a gentleman. Lewis is torn between revulsion and morbid excitement. Had she sucked Nico off? Stuck her hand down his stupid distressed designer jeans and gripped the weight of him, stroking slow and then fast as his breath hitched? Did she dig her nails into the meat of his stomach, his back, his chest? Would he still be able to see the impression of them if he rucked up Nico's shirt to check?
Lewis and his high school on-and-off had never gotten beyond second base, and then he just got too busy and realized he liked racing more than he liked girls. He decides he's done with this conversation.
Sensing something in his demeanor, Nico leans over and kicks him lightly on the shin. "Don't sulk. We should go for another round."
Lewis huffs. "Dino's gonna put us on a diet for weeks, man.
"Didn't mean like that."
He lets the words hang in the air for a second before pouncing.
Lewis is ready for him. He grabs Nico's shoulders, digging his knees into the mattress so they don't fall off the bed. Cheating prick.
"Play fair," he pants, tightening his grip. He goes for a headlock, but Nico squirms away, managing an elbow to his chest. Lately, Nico has grown bigger than him, his limbs longer, his shoulders squared—but Lewis is fast. Faster. At the end of the day, isn't that what counts?
He gets a knee between Nico's legs and presses down—and that does it. Nico makes a high, breathy noise, his features contorting.
It's not. Unprecedented.
After all, he knows what Nico's doing when he rests his hand on Lewis's thigh in the sun-baked backseat of Keke's car; fingers creeping higher the longer the shadows grow. Lewis knows what it means when Nico locks eyes with him as he wraps his lips around an ice-pop. What the implication is when he says want some?
Nico glares at him, challenge apparent. There's a pale flush blooming across his bare chest as he grows hard under Lewis's clothed leg. His golden hair is splayed across the mattress like a halo—or a crown.
Most days, Lewis rolls his eyes at what the papers write about his teammate, their purple-prose descriptions of the Monaco prince. None of these journalistic types get it. Maybe it's because they've only ever glimpsed Nico from far away, in the sun or in the shadow of his father. You have to steal close to see him for real. Close enough to get under his skin.
Lewis knows it all—Nico's small, mean mouth, the sweaty weight of his body on a hot day. How he drools like a dog in his sleep. There's a doughy, unformed quality to his features, like he hasn't grown into them yet, and his hips are soft, like a girl's.
Even so, looking down at Nico pinned against their pushed-together twin beds, that characteristic closed-mouth smirk rattled into something more unguarded, Lewis thinks he gets it. Yes. Nico is kind of pretty.
He rolls his hips down, insistent on making Nico admit something. What, he doesn't even know.
"Did Brenda do this to you?"
Nico moans, but the sound turns into a laugh halfway, ugly and snorting. It pisses Lewis off to no end, Nico's way of making him feel like he lost even when he's won.
"Don't talk about other girls when I'm right here," Nico says, and reaches up to push two of his fingers past Lewis's lips.
His fingers that are still sticky with fucking ice-cream. Cheating prick.

Next-gen Special Characters
the concept of the next animal crossing should be a new vs old gen style thing where we get more NPCs like daisy mae flick and CJ and the older gen NPCs become once a month fill-ins for them (excuse being the main new gen is sick, travelling, etc.) with all the previous new leaf NPCs roles returning and not shoved away like how the post office was replaced by just a boring card stand (ideas listed below)
the nooklings replace nook, no longer just separate roles but overtaking the store business with the signature blue tom nook apron look, they also are the ones to help the player build a house and instead of nook or isabelle declaring you "island rep" (aka GOD) or mayor, the player gets to be a construction worker for an up and coming nook inc in a new town shaped similar to the first animal crossing gcn game with a train station, levels of town that descend, all the minigames from gcn, and a new leaf town plaza (and any other big traits from previous games that feel impactful)
isabelle has moved to a new area to become the mayor of a brand new GCN-style town. if there was a way to link new leaf isabelle would have a portrait of the new leaf mayor on her desk, but it would likely pull from new horizons save data instead and show the island rep. tortimer fills in, taking a vacation from his retirement life by indulging in mayor duties while isabelle visits her previous workplaces. this replacement only happens after getting a lighthouse facility installed to complete the lighthouse thing that existed in the first title. he becomes cornimer in fall.
label replaces gracie's role in new leaf as the ultimate unlockable with the fashion checks, with her own brand of furniture and selling the previous gracie furniture (excluding the gracie series, bought once a month when she replaces label, and the princess series, which i repurposed for a later bullet point)
mabel takes full shop ownership and sable creates her own smaller version, explaining in the prologue she wants mable to try and manage the shop on her own since she's grown up. sable will have her own mini tailors that you build in the intro to the game's format similar to how it was in new horizons, moving out of able sisters on main streeet
the dodos replace the pelicans for mail service by seaplane, with mainstreet having a visible seaplane area behind the post office
leila replaces kapp'n but shes still really young, but she can speak full sentences and instead of playing shop she's playing boat in a row boat (she also sings, and has a new kk song called marine song 20XX whichever year the game comes out)
reese and cyrus have a purple-fleeced kid who they let run the shop kind of like how leila plays shop in new leaf tortimer island, but reese and cyrus are both still present in the building, taking over once a month because their kid is sick
harvey and harriet also have a kid running shampoodle
lottie now manages happy home instead of lyle
wardell replaces wendell
niko replaces digby
the ok motors pigeons from pocket camp have an RV coffee shop on main street the player can work for, while the roost can be developed as a small building in the town run by brewster
redd has triplets that he trains under him to mirror the nooklings, and puts on a fake "retired from crime" facade while his underlings carry out his dirty work, selling fake art but also spying on the town, disguised as a rock the player can "break" on the day before the triplets visit. he manages the fireworks stand like normal, with the triplets coming to make their own brand of fireworks they suddenly launch at 3:33am
frillard and farley return as the "old" gen counterparts to shrunk and leif, with shrunk returning for the club lol and leif running a garden center that slowly expands in crop selection with each upgrade, and allowing the player's town perfect fruit to change. farley sets up a small gnome flower shop that looks like the level 1 garden store in new leaf. the unlock requirement is a perfect town, he would be the only way to store flowers and he can make shrubs bloom regardless of season. he doesnt replace leif as a store runner, but you can see him as a statue outside the store once a month, removed from his fountain area. (im torn between him being the way to get a perfect town and maintaining his wishing well spirit role or this, but i think it would be better to return as the spirit. in that case i think daisy mae runs a vegetable shop, selling turnips on sunday from there and joan visits once a month)
flick and cj are
the snowfolk family idea should return, but they each evolved by one parent stage: snowman is snowgramps with the bingo eyes, snowmaam is snowgran wanting icicles for the ice/frozen series, snowboy is now snowman and mails the snowman series, snowtyke is now snowboy and gives you the same stuff as new leaf, and snowtyke's proportions are repurposed for a new snowtyke with a snow ponytail and she mails you pieces of the princess series (frozen reference that i think is funny)
theres a few special characters that i have NO idea how to replace since they feel so unique and special or dont have any easy replacements
blathers/celeste becoming parents or uncle/aunt to another owl feels REALLY unnatural (only thing i can think of is blathers and brewster get married and adopt a kid)
the resetti moles should get a replacement somehow but i dont know how they would work due to autosaving, maybe they run a town data transfer service? or they create new save files to play on to stop limiting to one per cartridge/console?
the police dogs' new gen should run a community center (acab) akin to stardew's, or they adopt a kid who runs it (gay marriage option #2)
i could see porter staying? he doesnt feel like an old gen and being champ in wild world/city folk i feel like he needs to be in another game to flesh out his personality more. he could always have his old gen counterpart become rover
luna has no real replacement either and she feels equally as new as porter, but they could maybe make her a leap year holiday NPC since that's when her birthday is and replace the dream mechanic with something like the uploaded houses from HHD/HHP
leif could become an earth day holiday NPC, with earth day being like weeding day from new leaf and rewarding with different styles of topiaries, or have either a new younger sibling or leif is the older gen version of a new elderly special character sloth that raised leif and is equally as cheery and happy
the other holiday NPCs like jingle, zipper, blanca and jack dont really have a replacement but i think making them stay the same turns them into more of a mythical unaging santa claus figure, but pave and franklin could have replacements since their holidays dont have a mythical aspect to them
gulliver's pretty hard to replace since he seems too adventerous to settle down with a kid, and it doesnt make sense personally to create a brand new younger character to replace him. i think they could go back to his astronaut UFO design since its been two games now since its appearance
phineas feels like he should just age more instead of having a descendant since he was removed from new horizons and replaced with the nook mile achievements over the badge system on the resident ID card (which should come back on the passport)
pascal feels too young to be replaced by anyone, so he could set up some sort of library cave area that appears on the beach and you can only access every so often (like the reset center in previous games) to show him settling down and less nomadic than before
saharah and katrina can have brand new designs, either full replacements to be less orientalist or they have children that are around lke 10-13 years old
wisp being a ghost would be EXTREMELY STRANGE to have a relative/replacement so i think they should just change him again to be something new, maybe you find his pieces and assemble him instead of finding and then scaring him, and assembling him you find out he was an old king, but its very clearly him roleplaying as one the more times you assemble him
the other special characters i didnt mention (i looked at the wiki when making this) are katie/kaitlyn, serena, the rest of kapp'n family, and lloid: if katie comes back she could be grown up and still travelling but idk how kaitlyn could come back; serena could become the new farley???? i guess?? but i overall think farley works the best since hes the only (?) non-animal character in animal crossing (gnome) and serena is just like. chihuahua; kapp'ns family can easily also replace leila for the once a month thing and then lloid is lloid idrc

Mississippi River
Sunday, April 7, 2024
Dora and Tim have a great time playing in the wet morning grass outside the Paducah Cracker Barrel. There are smells beneath every shrub. Then we load up and head out toward Missouri.
As we get closer to the Mississippi River we see more levees, including this bridge that looked like the steel overhead could be lowered to protect the town.
Tumblr media
We drove through Cairo (pronounced Karo like the syrup) at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. It is the only town protected by levees on all four sides.
It was depressing to see what the change to overland trucking has wrought to what used to be a prosperous river city. The town was full of disintegrating abandoned homes, factories, and businesses.
We cross the Ohio River into Illinois and parallel the Mississippi through very rural roads. Much more interesting than the interstates.
We finally cross the Mississippi River into Missouri at Cape Girardeau ("jir-AR-doh"). Beautiful bridge into a much larger city than Jeanne expected. According to the city website, they had 15,000 visitors for the 2017 eclipse and are expecting 20,000 this year.
Tumblr media
Compared to the two other eclipses we have seen, they don’t seem prepared. There are no signs for places to camp or park.
To our horror, we have no cell service. It must be all the visitors saturating the cell towers. We can’t look up information or addresses with any reliability. Phone calls don’t go through. Text messages are hit or miss.
We stop at the local sports field where there are a number of youth games on the multiple fields. We look for an official to ask where RV parking is. Two friendly Parks & Rec men say they don’t know, we can’t stay here and here’s the name of a good BBQ place.
After they leave, a Black woman named Bertha comes over and tells us that we can camp at a vacant lot near her house, and that we should also try the casino. The casino was on our list of places to try, so we thanked her and went there.
Did I mention that it was raining again? This is so depressing for eclipse watching. It’s less than 24 hours to totality and the weather is miserable.
To our surprise, the casino was not charging for overnight parking. They were very gracious and friendly. We had a Zoom call at 3:30, so we went into the casino to mooch wifi.
The casino had a spot set up to take selfies, so we took advantage. The manager helpfully took it for us. Notice the raincoats.
Tumblr media
The casino had a display of a DeLorean sports car. To our surprise, someone got in and drove it out the revolving door. It barely fit, so they were very careful.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We went back to the casino every couple hours to check the weather. Not good. We make plans to leave in the morning, but where?
Tim’s brother Andy arrives and parks next to us in the parking lot. Andy says he has been ODing on cloud coverage sites. Us, too. If you ever want a list, we have a half-dozen bookmarked, and Andy even has more.
We have dinner together on in our RV and make more plans. Bertha stopped by to make sure we were ok. Amazingly considerate.
Tumblr media
The Mississippi is close so we take Dora for a long walk on and around the levees. This is the same bridge from the shore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We watch barges and their tugboats.
Tumblr media
We speculate on the sign on the bridge and then zoom in to see that it marks the clearance under the bridge.
Tumblr media
The sky is stormy-looking, but not actively raining. We decide to check the forecasts in the casino in the morning (still no cell service) and decide then.

Across the country, cities have begun experimenting with artificial intelligence to map potholes, reduce traffic and fight wildfires. In San Jose, officials are now harnessing the rapidly evolving technology with another goal in mind: detecting homeless encampments.
Three times since December, a white city-owned Toyota sedan affixed with a half-dozen small cameras has cruised through South San Jose to collect footage of parked cars and RVs. The images were then fed into different AI systems developed by four private companies to determine whether people were living inside the vehicles.
The open-ended pilot program, thought to be the first of its kind nationwide, may soon also seek to identify tent encampments and could one day expand to a permanent fleet of vehicles that crisscross the city.
While homeless advocates fear the effort could lead to more encampment sweeps and impounded lived-in RVs, city officials say they are optimistic it will help connect homeless people with needed services and shelter or housing. The program is not designed to collect identifying footage of license plates or people’s faces, officials stressed.
“We’re not interested in the individual identities of people who are living outside,” said San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan. “But we do need to know where all the lived-in vehicles in the city are so that we can manage them.”
The program, first made public by The Guardian, comes as Mahan pushes to “end the era of encampments” as residents have grown increasingly frustrated with street homelessness.
At the mayor’s urging, the City Council agreed earlier this year to develop policies to ban RVs near schools, restrict oversized-vehicle parking across the city and establish new tow-away zones. The city estimates it has more than 800 lived-in RVs.
At the same time, city officials are devising plans to move around 1,000 homeless people from local waterways and into shelters. San Jose has an estimated 6,300 homeless residents, about 70% of whom live outdoors or in vehicles. The rest stay in shelters. ------ All these millions spent on technofascism instead of giving housing, food, and medicine directly to people. West Coast cities are building outright concentration camps for the homeless while de facto banning being poor in public.

Fuck it Friday
Tagged by @megslovesbooks but I’ve also recently been tagged by @elvensorceress lately and had nothing to show, so
Continuing my trend of using FiF as an excuse to post tidbits of things that will otherwise likely live in my docs forever. This is from a roadtrip fic set between seasons 5 and 6 that life didn’t allow me to get to.
Eddie does even realize he’d dozed off until the sound of heavy rain pelting the Jeep wakes him with a start. He blinks, trying to clear the sleep blur from his eyes but after a moment he realizes the blur is actually the heavy downpour.
Buck’s leaned up in his seat, squinting through the rain, driving slowly, but it’s really pouring.
“How far are we from the motel?” Eddie asks, raising his voice to be heard over the rain.
“Thirty-five, forty miles,” Buck replies with a grimace. “See if there’s one closer, it’s not safe to drive in this, and it’s only getting darker.”
Eddie picks his phone up out of the console and sighs when he sees that there’s no service. He grabs Buck’s, but no luck there either.
“There’s no signal.”
“Fuck. I saw a sign that I think is for an RV camp in a mile or two, we can pull in there, park far enough away from trees that we don’t have to worry about any falling on us, and wait it out there. Help me keep an eye out for the turnoff.”
“Ok,” Eddie agrees, scanning the road in front of them. A couple of minutes later there’s a turnoff, the large RV symbol unmistakable even through all the rain, and Buck pulls in. It’s deserted, so Buck parks right in the middle, well away from any trees that could fall if the weather gets nastier than heavy rain.
“Well, this sucks,” Buck says, picking his phone up. “No service still. It’s already late, and this rain isn’t showing any signs of letting up. I think we’re probably here for the night.
Eddie’s ass is sore from a long day of riding as is. “Oh joy, these seats will be so comfortable to sleep in.”
“Nah, man, that backseat folds into the floorboard and makes the back one big platform.”
“What, are you suggesting we get out in this to lay the seats down? We’ll get soaked and be miserable.” Lightning flashes bright and uncomfortably close to punctuate his words. “And there’s that.”
Buck waves him off. “I can do it without getting out.”
Eddie raises an eyebrow at him. “You can do it without getting out? Yeah, sure, ok, this I gotta see.”
Buck frowns at him. “Ye of little faith,” he grumbles, but he unbuckles himself, and then leans down as best he can and starts untying his shoes. At Eddie’s questioning look, Buck shrugs. “If I accidentally kick you in the face it’s probably gonna feel better if I’m not wearing sneakers.”
Eddie groans, but he unbuckles, getting himself ready to dodge flying feet, apparently.
Buck kicks his shoes off and twists in his seat, pulling a couple of things out of the backseat and dropping them unceremoniously on Eddie, his hoodie, a bag of gas station snacks, a badly folded roadmap, and then he’s leveraging his bulky six foot two frame up and, somehow, through the gap into the backseat, managing to only knee Eddie in the shoulder a little bit.
Eddie twists to watch the rest of it. Buck clambers around the backseat, flipping latches on the seats, and then he leans over them into the hatch space, doing something there for a moment before shooting a grin over his shoulder at Eddie. “Now for the difficult part,” he says, and then he’s simultaneously hauling himself over the seat backs into the hatch space while folding the seats down. It’s something that is clearly not meant to be done from the inside of a vehicle, but Buck manages somehow without breaking himself or the Jeep, as far as Eddie can tell.
“Here,” Buck says, sliding the cooler towards Eddie. “Help me get this in my seat, and then climb back here. We’ll put our shit in the front seats, it should all fit, and we’ll spread the sleeping bags out.”
The tent they haven’t actually bothered to use yet is strapped to the luggage rack, so at least that’s not in the way. It takes a little maneuvering, but they get the cooler into Buck’s seat without spilling the contents out, and then Eddie manages to climb through to the back. They shove their duffels and laundry bag up front, leaving just their sleeping bags, Buck’s pillow and the one he made Eddie bring, and a couple of cheap blankets Buck had already had in here. It takes some scooting and arranging, but they get the sleeping bags mostly unrolled, the excess creeping up the back of the front seats.
They lie down, the Jeep just not quite big enough for two tall men to stretch out in, and they spend several moments trying to figure out to most comfortably bend before Buck flips onto his side and tangles his legs through Eddie’s, the diagonal angle clearly fitting him into the space better, so Eddie gives up and does the same.
They no sooner settle down, the cheap blankets spread on top of them, when they rain slams down in earnest, the pop of each raindrop adding up into a cacophony of sound. They wouldn’t be able to talk without yelling right now, but sleep isn’t even remotely an option with this much noise, so that’s how they find themselves lying in the back of the Jeep, staring at each other.
The timer on the overhead light must run out. Eddie had popped the back door open just long enough to get it to come on while they were trying to get their shit arranged, so it had only been a matter of time, but there’s something about the darkness now that feels thick.
His eyes adjust and he can just make out the shape of Buck, still facing him. He knows even in the dark that Buck is still looking at him just like he is, and they face each other, only the sound of the rain hammering the roof above them.
He’s not sure which of them moves first. He thinks maybe they move at the same time. Buck’s hand lands on his chest, sliding up to his shoulder just as his own cups Buck’s face, and they’re closing the scant few inches between them as if the curtain of rain has shifted them to some reality where this is a thing they do, and then they’re kissing.

Home WAN Failover with UDM Pro
If recurring cloud service fees for hobby projects cause death by a thousand cuts, I'm feeling like I did the first few times Ashina Elite - Jinsuke Saze kicked my ass in Sekiro:
...but my SRE day job long ago scared me off single points of failure, so I've been hesitant to host services that real users depend on--mostly https://life4ddr.com and https://truebpm.dance--at home.
But then we moved to our new home, where the prior owners had installed a couple of 13.5 kWh Tesla Powerwalls in the garage, and I realized I had power redundancy for the first time. This got me thinking about what it would take to build a sufficiently HA environment at home for hosting community projects and, well, there's work left to do to answer that question.
Might as well start with...
Redundant ISPs!
Step 1: ISPx2
Step 1 is easy: We pay $80/mo for AT&T Gigabit fiber as our primary ISP. I've had a (deactivated) Starlink RV dish and have been waiting for the chance to use it.
The primary downsides of Starlink for RVs are a) the slightly higher cost than residential Starlink ($135/mo vs. $110/mo for residential), and b) RV users are throttled during periods of high demand. In practice, this has never happened to me; I'm on the waitlist for a residential plan.
Starlink is fairly fast:
Tumblr media
And the latency to google.com is eehhh, ok:
Tumblr media
So why not another fiber or broadband provider?
I've been enjoying not paying Comcast too much
The Starlink dish was sitting in my closet
They're hobby projects, not payment processors that need 5+ 9s of availability and sub 10ms latency
(the primary line kinda never goes down anyway)
Off the griiiiidddd
etc.
Installation is a cinch if you cut corners:
Put it on the roof
Tumblr media
Do a great job running and hiding the cables, definitely no eyesores here (not pictured)
(sorry to devon)
Through the wall and into the router
First time using this stuff to seal the hole drilled for the cable, plus some Sikaflex concrete sealant since, unlike regular silicone caulk, it can be painted once dried.
There may be an embarrassing part omitted here involving drilling into an "electrical wire", panicking, and in the end discovering that it was chicken wire & part of the stucco...
Tumblr media
Not pictured: cable grommet for the 1" hole that has not yet arrived from Amazon
Tumblr media
"That's a giant hole" Yeah, because of this thing :(
Tumblr media
The official routing kit comes with a 3/4" drillbit. I used the 1" drillbit I had on hand.
Final result:
Tumblr media
Step 2: Automated failover
At this point, I had a separate SSID that I could manually switch devices to, but I didn't want to have to deal with doing that manually when I'm away from home. And I might not always be available, and don't want users waiting until I am...
Enter the Ubiquiti Dream Machine (UDM) Pro!
Ok, so I really just copied a friend here without doing a ton of research:
Tumblr media
But it ticks the boxes:
WAN failover (WAN load balancing not supported... but we can handle a few seconds of downtime)
Remote management interface
...That's it?
It does way more than this, but my goals are not lofty.
Once it arrived, it only took a few minutes for initial setup:
Plugged primary modem into WAN port 2, SFP+ 10gb (with an RJ-45 adapter)
Plugged Starlink router into WAN port 1 (with a Starlink ethernet adapter)
Turned on the UDM Pro, paired via bluetooth and finished guided setup through the iOS app
I then changed the port configuration to make WAN 2 primary and WAN 1 secondary. In my head this felt like a step toward >1Gb home Internet (AT&T offers 5 Gb today 😱). In practice, this led to a lot of packet loss and continual failovers to the backup link; it's probably an issue with the adapter or cable somewhere in the chain but i didn't feel like figuring it out.
I then discovered that you can configure port 8 as the secondary WAN link, and shuffled connections around so both WANs were cabled without the need for an adapter. This fixed the failover flapping and packet loss.
Somewhere along the way I also changed the echo server from the default Ubiquiti server to Google DNS (8.8.8.8). Ubiquiti pings the echo server to make the decision to fail over or not. I'm not sure this contributed to solving my issues, but it has for some
Success!
Tumblr media
And kind of a sick name...
I didn't have to simulate failover because I broke things plenty of times during the setup process:
Tumblr media
In practice, I saw 5-10 seconds of packet loss before Starlink took over. And automated recovery when AT&T started pinging again! More than adequate for users of a DDR BPM calculator.
What's left?
Ok, redundant power + Internet. But how do users get to a server deployed in my house when the IP changes on failover? Dynamic DNS? Do I go full Brad Fitzpatrick and shell out $12k+ on a /24 of IPv4 space, and create my own ASN + anycast from my house? (probably not) Am I going to deploy CRITICAL DANCE GAME SERVICES on a SINGLE DESKTOP MACHINE!? (obviously not) I don't know. Hopefully we will find out together in a subsequent post.

Tips for Choosing the Right Storage Unit
Assess Your Storage Needs
Before renting a storage unit, it's essential to evaluate what you plan to store. Make a list of items and their dimensions to determine the appropriate unit size. Consider whether you need climate control or any other special features.
Visit the Facility
Taking a tour of the storage facility can give you a better understanding of the available options. At Supreme Storage TX, we encourage potential customers to visit and see our clean, well-maintained units and top-notch security measures firsthand.
Consider Accessibility
Think about how often you'll need to access your storage unit. If you plan to visit frequently, choose a unit that's easy to access and offers convenient hours. Supreme Storage TX provides flexible access hours to accommodate your schedule.
Ask About Security
Ensure that the storage facility has robust security measures in place. Our 24/7 surveillance, gated access, and individual unit alarms are just a few of the security features we offer at Supreme Storage TX.
Compare Prices
While cost shouldn't be the only factor, it's important to compare prices and ensure you're getting good value for your money. Our competitive rates and flexible payment plans make Supreme Storage TX a cost-effective choice for storage in Burleson, TX.
How to Maximize Your Storage Space
Use Shelving
Adding shelves to your storage unit can help you organize items more efficiently and make the most of vertical space. This approach is particularly useful for small to medium-sized units.
Pack Strategically
Pack your items in sturdy boxes and label them clearly. Place frequently accessed items near the front of the unit, and stack heavier boxes at the bottom to avoid crushing lighter ones.
Disassemble Large Items
If possible, disassemble furniture and other large items to save space. Store screws and small parts in labeled bags and keep them with the corresponding items to make reassembly easier.
Protect Your Belongings
Use blankets, bubble wrap, and other protective materials to safeguard fragile items. Climate-controlled units at Supreme Storage TX offer additional protection against temperature and humidity fluctuations.
