Classic Literature Sexyperson Tournament; Round 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
propaganda:
Jekyll:
HAD an article but where the hell did it go what
Old man with a Dark Secret (tm). He's too nice to be a true sexyman but the whole "transforms into the physical manifestation of his most perverse desires" thing definitely helps. Would have submitted Hyde but he's constantly described as "ugly mf" and "ew please get him away from me"
Ruy Blas:
Hmmmmm He is *romantic*, *exhalted*. He is a normal guy that passes as a noble, fools everyone and seduce the queen. His sexiness shines so much that people don't see that he's originally a peasant. And he dies in a *tragic* way, preserving the honor of the queen.

"Have One On Me" comparison :
-Focus on Sarah Bernardt -
As Joanna said in an interview, a model in a some parisian art studio around 1920 in Paris (France) is one of the inspirations for the HOOM cover photo. Here we have some pictures (and two illustrations) of the famous french actress Sarah Bernhardt in her parisian studio (late 1890's - early 1900). This is not exactly the right year, neither a model in an art studio. But more over the resemblance between the HOOM cover and the luxurious exuberant appartement, there is plenty of others paralels that I will explained in others posts. As a part of the parisian art scean of her time, Sarah Bernhardt was depicted by difrent painters and artist during the years. So, we may consider her as "parisian art model", but you'll see later.
Fun fact: it seems that the images here are not from a set, but the inside of her personal appartement. What a flamboyant and exuberant place to live!
Sarah Bernhardt (Born Henriette-Rosine Bernard; 22 October 1844 – 26 March 1923) was a French stage actress who starred in some of the most popular French plays of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including La Dame aux Camélias by Alexandre Dumas fils, Ruy Blas by Victor Hugo, Fédora and La Tosca by Victorien Sardou, and L'Aiglon by Edmond Rostand. She played female as well as male roles, including Shakespeare's Hamlet. Rostand called her "the queen of the pose and the princess of the gesture", and Hugo praised her "golden voice". She made several theatrical tours around the world, and she was one of the early prominent actresses to make sound recordings and to act in motion pictures.

"Bon appétit ! messieurs ! —
…………………………….Ô ministres intègres !
Conseillers vertueux !
Ruy Blas, Victor Hugo, 1838.

I haven’t delved too much into my kins, so here are some species of akito. (Dont read if you dont like doubles!!)
Lone sheep Akito
Peasant in Azusawa kingdom, where music other than regal music was banned due to magic’s inherent magical properties. Joined a group of peasants with the princess to create peasant music. Peasant music became monetised and exploited by the royal family. Erm I got consumed with fame bla bla……
2. Moonlight Akito / Batman
A mechanic who makes some of my inventions. Most of them were made by Rui (who is the joker) but we had a fallout. Instead of parents dying it was my sister. At the hands of the joker. An is wonder woman and Toya is superman and Kohane is robin.
3. Candy nya nya femboy akito
its a femboy nya nya catboy. What more do you want???
(Also mems of ‘vbs’ being more of a mischievous candyland cat themed group. Think wxs but instead of happy whimsical songs its upbeat bubblegum pop / hip hop)
