saw the new starlight express run knowing nothing about the show other than "ALW's train musical fever dream" and i left thinking several things. WHY am i gay for trains. WHY do i feel gender envy over the trains. WHY am i shipping the trains. there are lesbian trains and i love them. the nonbinary train is serving. is the steam train prejudice a metaphor for racism? is the diner car a lesbian because eating out is her craft? what's up with all the hydrogen propaganda? i love this. deeply enjoyable can't wait for the cast album release

2024 revival wise iwnot sure if anyone's talked about this before but stars are made up of majority hydrogen, so the fact that the hydrogen tanker comes to rusty's aid at his darkest hour feels like the starlight is answering his call and its beautiful RAGH
