I got swing!Rusty the first time I saw the show, (Scott Hayward) and as great as he was, the entire energy of the role changed when I saw Jeevan!Rusty. he's just so... He's adorable? There's this sort of naivety/hopeful innocence there that I really don't think you get as much with Scott. I want to squish him like a koosh ball. He gives me cute aggression. Jeevan Rusty I'm doing this to you.

I also think he has way better chemistry with Kayna Montecillo than Scott does. They match eachothers freak, if by freak you mean being just the cutest little goobers alive. I want to make them pbj sandwiches and pat them on the head.

I'm pretty sure Scott also bounces way differently off Jaydon's Hydra than Jeevan does, which is def a factor in why Im Like This. They feel more like peers in that case. Unfortunately, "power imbalance in both directions" is also one of my favourite ship dynamics, so you're not free yet.

saw the new starlight express run knowing nothing about the show other than "ALW's train musical fever dream" and i left thinking several things. WHY am i gay for trains. WHY do i feel gender envy over the trains. WHY am i shipping the trains. there are lesbian trains and i love them. the nonbinary train is serving. is the steam train prejudice a metaphor for racism? is the diner car a lesbian because eating out is her craft? what's up with all the hydrogen propaganda? i love this. deeply enjoyable can't wait for the cast album release
