And then maybe the bouquets from Performance, the cake in Wind Paths, and then the cake in Starlight Desert (since the path to it is right next to the one in Wind Paths)

HA, I forget people can see my tags. To make a long story short, yeah, but luckily with no major injuries! I was young enough that going to the hospital/doctor was my parents' decision and they just kinda didn't? Don't know why! Got hit on saturday, went to school that monday! Which is crazy. I don't even have a scar, which is also crazy. Mf got me from behind so I couldn't even stare them down ominously (a habit of mine I carry to this day, Just In Case), so my face could haunt their nightmares if they killed me, but the driver had a kid in the car who didn't blink the entire time. I'm sure I became a Significant Memory in their young psyche! Longer story short, driver drove me back home, mom was hysterical, blah, blah, blah, I'm still alive. By now the thing's hilarious to me, not so much to literally anyone else ��(シ)┌

You know when you read a piece of fiction - book, short story, fanfic, what have you - and there’s just one tiny detail that just takes you completely out of the story?

I just read a passage in a piece of original fiction where the main character hugs a friend and tells us she smells like the ‘delicate rose and jasmine of her familiar Chanel No 5’ and my brain just screeched to a halt. Tell me you googled ‘famous fancy perfume’ and picked the first two scent notes you saw without telling me. Many things can be said about that particular fragrance I don’t think anybody with a working nose would describe it as ‘delicate florals’.

Realised it’s @khoc-week so even though I don’t have the energy to do it daily have this I did a while ago but never posted.

They came to me in a dream where I was a replica (of multiple people but looked most like Vidar) made by apprentice Nort/Xemnas, who was the fifteenth member of the organisation and also had my knowledge of hit video games Kingdom Hearts and kept getting randomly thrown through space and time.

ok it's almost 4am, no i haven't slept yet, but just... something about kin memories while being non-cannon.

i had a cannon mate describe it to me once as "you don't realize something/someone is missing until it's brought to your attention" and it just makes me think a lot, because it was much the same way for me. watching/listening to a source and having that nagging feeling like something is missing and later realizing that I was missing.

but the memories themselves for me come in various different ways. it's full scenes/memories where I can see, hear, and feel everything properly. it's the feeling of a flannel or jacket draped over me as I fall asleep on a sofa, on a couch, or at a desk. it's the idea of keeping things close that just seems right. it's the taste of black coffee during sleepless nights. it's fleeting moments I can't quite grasp like trying to remember a dream that fades the second you wake up.

sometimes finding cannon mates feels impossible when no one remembers, but I know it's not. I've found cannon mates, two of them from the same source. but sometimes it feels like not everyone is around this time, making that longing so much worse. longing for friends longing for siblings longing for family and I know I'll find them all someday. i just have to keep looking.

tales of the tardis is enough for me, it is, it really is, after all those years, jamie & zoe finally got their memories back & if that's the last we see of jamie mccrimmon that was fantastic, it was more than enough, there is & now will always be a conclusion

but

if i had to bring any classic who companion back to new (new?) who it would be jamie, it would always be jamie because the idea of jamie meeting a modern doctor sends me just a tad feral, just a a little bit balls to the wall feral.
