I recently got into running. Doing cardio twice a day just to feel better in general and Zombies, Run has been a life saver because running is SO boring. Does anyone else talk back to the characters as they talk to Runner5? Because it’s a good thing I run on an elliptical/treadmill!

You’re Home!!

It’s been a while. I kinda fell out of the ZR fandom which seems to happen, some days I’ll be gun ho about running and Abel and Sam guiding me to losing interest. It just happens you know. But I feel like coming back now. I even updated my five’s appearance since the fun part about the fandom is coming up with your own five. His backstory and personality is a bit the same only just some updates here and there. Hopefully I can start running again.

I'll be posting comics soon I promise! However, considering this was supposed to be my easy run, and I ran this at race pace, I'm celebrating. Hoping to get 30 min or less for the Halloween race and I'm training hard so I'm gonna share. Then I'll make sure I upload some reviews of all the graphic novels I've been rereading lately. Finally drawing my own Runner 5! And yes, keeping up dyed hair in the zombie apocalypse is difficult 🤣 

I've played ZOMBIES, RUN for a few years now, and am about to finish Season 8. I've always had a clear idea of my Runner 5, so as I go back to the beginning I'll be sharing some of the zanier ideas I've had while listening. 😆 

So enjoy some initial concepts and designs. Also, I know I got the headset on the wrong side... ^_^;;

At the end of the zombies, run 5k virtual race, I happened to be running on a rather beat up patch of road. It crumbled, I slipped, and have now torn my hamstring and sprained/hyperextended my knee. In other news, I really enjoyed the 5k, i loved the story.

My Runner Five

Age: 22

Gender: female

Height: 5'4

Sexuality: pansexual

Job: firefighter paramedic

Personality: she's timid and shy, but she knows how to take charge. She's calm and keeps her cool in emergency situations, but is generally very anxious and over thinks everything. She's easy to get along with, but take some time to warm up to people. She loves helping people out and making a difference. She pushes herself to be better, and constantly feels the need to prove herself

Family: she hasn't talked to her parents since she moved out at 18, and has no siblings

Friends: she mainly only knew her coworkers, who were more like family. She's still bitter that she wasn't at the station when the outbreak began, and the thought of what could've happened to her crew still haunts her. She has no idea what became of them

Romance: she fancied another woman from a different station who she went to academy with, but they lost contact after the outbreak. She had a crush on Archie, but ultimately fell for Sam

Pets: she had no pets before the apocalypse, but really wanted a pit bull

Hobbies before the apocalypse: when she wasn't working out or sleeping, she often watched shows or listened to music. She liked to read and crochet, and loved to cook

What she misses most about life before the outbreak: hot showers. Of course she misses her job and her life, but she would kill for a hot shower

Weapon of choice: her axe. She was a firefighter, she knows damn well how to use it. She also has a pocket knife, but it's not exactly for self defense

So what is you favorite mission so far in zombies, run? I have to say so far I really enjoyed the April 2017 virtual race. I love them all, but for some reason I like that one most.
