🎙📚 #ArtIsAWeapon #Regrann from @cccadi: Dr. Chrisopher Emdin @chrisemdin drops knowledge on hip-hop's legacy and its role in educating today's youth (more info about Dr. Emdin + our latest professional development workshop below!👀👇🏾) • Dr. Christopher Emdin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he also serves as Director of Science Education at the Center for Health Equity and Urban Science Education. He is also the Associate Director of the Institute for Urban and Minority Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. • In our latest professional development workshop, "Black Gotham's Caribbean Roots", we explore more into the power of hip-hop and its convergence of New York City youth from African American, Puerto Rican and Jamaican communities, with a discussion + musical showcase.
