I think hearing Stereolab's Fluorescenes for the first time led to some huge changes in my musical taste
youtube
from there, I got into their albums, which started me down the path of krautrock and krautrock-influenced music, though I don't really know if I like that genre name. and that led me to realize that I'm probably gonna enjoy anything with a bunch of big sounds and motorik beats
which also means that Flying Microtonal Banana was probably one of the best introductions to King Gizzard I could've gotten. and I feel like if you liked The Dripping Tap, you'll probably like earlier noisier Stereolab like the track Stomach Worm

MUKAMI HOUSEHOLD HC’S
A/n: Long time no see!! Work and life got super crazy but I’ve been indulging in Diabolik Lovers again! Alongside that! For a few months I’ve been rewriting DL (more like my own au!!) just small tweaks and adding more realistic characterizations to characters I enjoy! So I decided to make a list of my headcanons for the Mukami household + Yui (she’s my beauty)
TW: slight mention and hint at abuse, mention of sexual abuse, mention of animal death
Take all of these at face value I’ve done my research to the best of my abilities and are basing this off of the things I’ve read, played, and watched! Plus my own little personal things!
- A quieter household. Each brother seems to have their own hobbies and tends to stick to themselves. This doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy each others company, they seem like the only group to like REALLY enjoy being around each other. Brother banter and all that nonsense.
- isn’t the safest but compared to the Sakamaki household Yui is in less danger. She actually spends more time pursuing schooling and smaller hobbies here without much backlash. Yuma and her garden often and Ruki helps her study. But of course this kinda stuff is paid back in blood so, you win some loose some
- Yuma will tease all 3 brothers for their height, I believe this may be canon? But it’s really Kou he has spats with over their heights. As an idol Kou is notoriously over dramatic and borderline narcissistic (and very full of himself) so he’s kinda pissy Yuma hangs his height over his head, but it’s all in good fun! (Usually)
-Yui and Ruki don’t really get along in the beginning. Which duh, but after a long period of time Yui began to get annoyed with being bossed around? I mean I would to, so he kinda grossed her out. Too much like an Ayato Reiji mix
- it’s mentioned either that in a CD or clip from more blood (the game) that Yui housed a kitten and was healing it back to health and Ruki killed it. This also kinda solidified their relationship into not being great. Yui believes very strongly in her morals and Ruki is one to oppose them. Meaning that in her eyes he’s cruel and in his she’s weak.
- Azusa is super interested in religions. Not like in them but he thinks the rules and regulations are kinda interesting to look into, he asks Yui a lot of questions about her faith and what it means to her.
- Yuma and Yui get along the best, the brothers were once human and I feel like don’t lack empathy to the extent pure bloods do. Course they will make comments that have Yui going “???” Because they are still entitled vampires
- The kinda group to have annoying ass orders at cafes. They don’t go out as a group much but when they get the chance they do. So when Yui joined she tagged along (of course they were like helicopter parents). Kou wants something sweet all the time so it’s either a milkshake/frappe nonsense, Ruki is the one who makes in super obvious he “just wants a black coffee. Black, no sugar or cream”, now Azusa’s order isn’t hard but he’s so quiet that it’s hard to catch it all so it’s usually made wrong on accident. Yuma sticks to the same thing but it’s a coffee with like 13 different steps that by the end it’s like a concoction of sugar, cream, flavoring, and coffee.
- Yui has an easy order, usually a tea. She avoids most coffee’s due to her sleep already being out of whack
- Yui has nightmares often due to the abuse she’s faced and she’s semi opened up to Azusa abt them in passing but tends to shut it down if pried.
- Ruki is stressed almost always. With the stress of being Adam kinda solely falling on his shoulders he doesn’t sleep often or even at all.
- this is supposedly canon but, Yuma likes bigger curvy girls in my mind :3
- Kou likes Kesha, Megan, and other female rap/pop artists. I also feel like Yui also dabbles with that kinda music but it isn’t her favorite
- Yuma’s the kinda brother that gives his brothers the faulty gaming controller :/
- Yuma and Kou smoke weed 100% idk I feel like they’d enjoy it, Ruki has a few times but usually just tells them off. Azusa has zero interest, Yui also has dabbled and she enjoyed it but getting high with like supernatural creatures can be… anxiety inducing?
- Ruki seems like one of those kids who’d have a super non trad kinda pet? Idk a snake or something. Not messy, loud, and chill
- Kou seems like the type to be sex repulsed often? He’s an idol and gets sexualized a lot in the limelight so bad correlation but even if he hates it he still does it to Yui
- Yui also is very sex repulsed
- yuma has a hard time coming to terms with his past with Shuu? It’s a weird grief thingy
- I feel like sometimes, only sometimes, they miss being human. I believe it’s semi mentioned already. But I feel like when Yui started living with them they started noticing that feeling more in an angry/sad way.

this has been on my mind for a while but still didn't say it because I didn't want people to come after me and cancel me. just know I like ayato, but I don't like the overrated hype on him by people. I'm not hating on Ayato stans, because I was one myself but this overrated hype got me out of it after discovering more knowledge on other characters.
the way some people hype the Ayato "overrate" is too much. like I get it Rejet gave a lot of signs of painting Ayato as the main lead, but it was prolly to have some easier ideas on merch and fanservice contents (like youngblood). yes there might me Rejet's favoritism too here, especially in anime, like all the boys barely have any interaction with Yui except when it came to suck her blood, but that wasn't the case with Ayato. I feel like if Rejet had shown favoritism towards Subaru or actually tried to highlight Shu or Reiji or even Laito's trauma like they did with Ayato, then the main love interest would have pointed towards them.
people saying that Ayato "truly" deserves to be the ML because he had it "worse" are we starting to compare everyones' trauma now??? I'm sorry but trauma can never be compared because everyone has their own experience, sufferings and hardships going through it.
alright if you wanna compare "worse" then, what Ayato had worse? Cordelia abusing him to study 24/7 to become number one and not letting him play + venting her anger out on him? then what about Shu??? as the first born I'm pretty sure it was way worse for him especially how strict and cold Beatrix was. and the only solace, his friend edgar aka Yuma, was also snatched by him. If you guys would have read Shu's LE vampire end starting monologue, then you guys would have known how Shu was talking about his trauma and how he dealt with it using music, pushing people away, etc. + plus it's side effect on him.
"Ayato forgave Cordelia in DF in his route even after what she did to him" okay? so did Yuma. He forgave Reiji for what happened in the past. Laito also forgave Cordelia in his DF route after discovering Karlheinz's journal. Carla was ready to help vampires, the species he hates the most, just on Yui's saying.
Yes Ayato had development, but I feel like Reiji, Ruki, Kou, Shu and Laito had the best one and more better development than him. Like through each and every game you can see them coming over trauma through Yui's help and becoming a better person. While in Ayato's case I just felt like they dumped the "main hero" plot on him by reviving Cordelia. yeah DF was the only route I saw his development while in other games, I didn't see much unlike what I witnessed with other characters.
Subaru was the green flag from the start and if Rejet would have given him the screen time instead of Ayato, he would have become the Main Interest.

✧ 5 dl boys - headcanons ✧
~NOTE: pictures used aren’t mine. credit to the respective owners on pinterest! all the headcanons are SFW & written just for fun. that being said, enjoy! xoxo, Mora
ꞝ Yuma M.
he has dyslexia & dyscalculia. he always had troubles with school for that, however ruki has helped him out since the moment he discovered his problem (indeed it was ruki who found out).
he loves his own hair to be long, for the looks of it ofc, but mainly because he is super sensitive on his neck and can’t stand the feeling of cold breeze touching his nape.
his favorite fruit is pomegranate, he’s obsessed with the taste of it and the texture of the little seeds.
ꞝ Azusa M.
loves pastel colors. especially on clothes! he has these huge cardigans & sweaters of all kinds of pastel colors (light blue and lilac mainly).
he likes birds. small, tiny ones the most. he finds them to be adorable and loves their singing.
draws little skulls on his notebook whenever he’s bored at school and likes to collect stationery stuff.
ꞝ Ruki M.
low key loves piercings and tattoos. he has both his ears full of piercings (his favorite is the industrial), silver jewelry with onyx gems in it is his go-to. he also has a labret piercing on his face.
he loves mathematics, physics and chemistry at school. the hardest other people find a subject, the easier it is for him. yes he’s a math god.
is a cleaning freak. if the walls and floors aren’t shining and he can’t see his own reflection on the table then the house isn’t clean enough.
ꞝ Shu S.
a fan of björk. he is an artist and although his blatant love for classical music, he fancies peculiar music too and finds björk’s style to be cool and unique.
loves reading. his favorite genre is detective/mystery stories, he has this huge collection of novels that has re-readed at least 3 times.
one of his favorite animals is the owl. white ones with black, huge eyes. he finds to have a connection with these animals for some reason.
ꞝ Subaru S.
believe or not, he had an avril lavigne phase. he also had a “nightcore” phase of emo songs & to this day listens to “hello kitty”.
leather jackets are his style. he’s a total black guy when it comes to clothing, and loves the look of leather in general. even more if they got studs here and there.
wears crystals. he does know each crystals’ purpose and low key believes their power. the ones he uses the most are apache tear & rose quartz, because it reminds him of his mother.
✧ (u guys can find the other boys in this post!)
~thank u sm for reading!! which one is ur fav boy? i love Yuma so much. also, i love yui too so i’m probably gonna make hdcs about her too soon. stick around if u like. reblogs are super appreciated (//^◡^//)

April 8th Reita & Ruki Interview snippets
(keep in mind that the pottery class was held last year (most likely around late autumn-winter time, considering how much ruki complained that it was cold in the workshop))
[about why Reita chose this particular piece of pottery as a winning prize in the contest]
REITA: Actually, this is the one I wanted the most to use at home (laughs). But I thought it would be better to give away the thing I wanted the most.
[regarding their working clothes and ruki chucking out leather pants like it was nothing and reita going full countryboy and accepting the dirt(tm)]
RUKI: Also, we were told to come dressed in something you don't mind getting dirty. So when we got there, the FC staff had prepared something like work clothes for us (*i'm guessing it was an apron). But we couldn't have our pictures taken while wearing those, right? [...] I put it on and thought, "This isn't right".
ー That's a visual kei thing to do (laughs). So you worked in your own clothes without any protective clothing.
RUKI: Yeah, it got pretty dirty so… I threw it away.
REITA: You threw it away!
RUKI: I threw it away! The dirt didn't come off at all! I was wearing leather pants and I thought the smooth material would help get the stains off easily.
ーSo what about REITA, who was conditioning his jeans? Did the stains come off safely?
REITA: Well, it didn't come off, but rather it disappeared when you left it alone. If you continued wearing them without worrying about the dirt, it was gone.
ーMaybe it dried and fell off naturally.
REITA: I think so.
[about ruki being too ambitious once again]
ーBut I suppose there may have been some fans who were hoping for an avant-garde piece.
RUKI: Avant-garde... Of course we wanted to make an avant-garde piece too! To be honest, the first thing I asked the teacher was "Can I make anything I want?". Then I was like "I just need give it a try first". But [eventually] it turned to "I'll have to do it for three years [to be able to make anything I want]"
[lastly, about the music making as of April 8th...]
ーFinally… while we're here, can you tell us about the progress of the new songs…? I think the fans are curious too. Isn't it about time for a song selection meeting?
REITA: It feels like we're getting to that stage soon… [...] Right now I'm writing songs. I'm sure I'm working on them properly!
ーIt seems like you're just creating every day. By the way, REITA, what is your favorite form of training [as of recently]?
REITA: No, no, I haven't been moving at all lately.
ーThat's crazy!
REITA: It is crazy indeed. So, once filming and such is decided, I feel like I'll start working hard from there.

I usually reblog, rather than make my own posts, but seeing everyone in the gaze community deal with their grief by writing things down has given me some courage to do the same. I hope it will help me in my grieving process and i hope to help everyone who does relate to what i write. So this will be my farewell letter.
Dear Reita,
I got the news seven days too late, like how it usually is for me coming into a fandom.
I became a fan about 8 years ago, i was doing a creative education as a designer, listening to random music on Youtube with autoplay. Suddenly i found Red, the first song that got me into the Gazette, i was glued to my screen and intrigued with the looks of all members. But why the hell was that one guy wearing a band around his nose? I needed to get into it. So i did.
The gazette then became my first and favorite Visual kei band, i’ve been trough a lot in my life and whenever hardship struck me, there was always an interview that would make me laugh. When i had boring days in school we even played a game, my friends would ask me “why is he covering his nose?” And i would make up the weirdest stories on the spot. That resulted in some charms with titles like ‘reita and the smelly drummer.’ And ‘reita the drugs dealer.’ It varied from poking fun and making up the stupidest thing, to making you some cool guy who fought bad guys. It would always make us laugh, even though, i was making up these stories to friends who weren’t even necessarily in the fandom, because everyone who saw you once, knew your name and so knew who you were.
I wrote fanfiction, many in where you play a big part of the story, not as a love interest, but as a brother of a character based off of me. All because you once said in a radio show that you feel like you’d be a great older brother, hell did i take you up on that one.
I never got to see The Gazette live, i used to curse you all for skipping my country and forcing me to travel for 5 hours to see you all. In 2018 i was almost at that point, but i couldn’t go because of my exams and because i had no friends who wanted to come with me. I always promised myself: one day, i will see them.
It hurts me to realize that day will never come, at least you won’t be there anymore. I accidentally open instagram, and find a grief post written by Hiroto of Alice nine, in the hashtags your name. Shock, that’s the first thing i felt. I must be going crazy. But next up was Miyavi’s post and as i read that it slowly starts downing upon me, my heart sinks to my stomach and a lump forms in my throat as i rush to jrocknews to confirm they aren’t just playing a sick joke.
I start crying like most of the sixth guns, but only after i start reading the members messages. Why am i crying? We’ve lost a talented bass player who inspired so many people to also start making music. The world lost ‘the world’s Reita’ who was always poking fun at the drummer. The bookstores lost their most unexpected romance buyer. Many lost their source of love and joy. I’ve lost my fictional brother.
But most importantly, your actual family lost a loving family member who bought his mother an entire house to repay her for raising him well. The Gazette lost a member. Kai lost his fear during interviews of whatever you are going to say next. Ruki lost being in your personal space no matter how big the dressing room. Aoi lost the person who’s jokes he could laugh the hardest about. Uruha lost his longtime best friend, and now can no longer feel your heart racing before the show, nor can he feel your hand searching for his heart.
I hope everyones feelings reach you, i hope that whichever way you passed, was peaceful and without pain. I hope that whenever it is our time, you come in your mustang to pick everyone up. Usually as a driving instructor i call shotgun, but i’ll leave that space to your close relatives. That way i can’t judge you for turning around while parking, rather than using your mirrors.
Thank you for everything Reita, you will never be forgotten. Once my grief is gone, i promise to remember you with a smile rather than cry. I also promise to be a fan of The Gazette no matter what they decide to do now you’re gone.
And to whomever read my entire message, thank you for reading this unhinged post.

Diabolik Lovers as Brooklyn 99 Quotes
The crossover literally no one asked for but I delivered anyway.
*Azusa helping Yui with self defense for their battle with the Tsukinami brothers*
Azusa: "Ok, here are the ground rules. You can punch me, kick me, pull my hair. I am a-ok with being stabbed. Biting and scratching are on the table. You can use fire."
Yui: "These are the ground rules? Is there anything off limits?"
Azusa: "Damn, girl. You got something really sick you wanna do, huh? Oh, you little pervert. All right, I like it. Don't tell me. Surprise me. Ooh, this is gonna be fun!"
------------------------------------------------------------
*Carla talking about getting their vengeance for the Founders*
Shin: "Great, who are we killing? I won't do kids, that's a rule. But, that rule is negotiable if the kid's a dick."
------------------------------------------------------------
*Subaru literally everyday while at school*
Subaru: "A place where everybody knows your name is Hell. You are describing Hell."
------------------------------------------------------------
*Laito to Ayato when he went up against Richter in a sword fight by himself*
Laito: "You could have died, man."
Ayato: "It's not that bad. The doctor said all of my bleeding was internal-that's where the blood is supposed to be!"
Laito: 😟
------------------------------------------------------------
*Subaru's self confidence levels*
Subaru: ""Be myself", what kind of garbage is that?"
------------------------------------------------------------
*Laito when Ayato and Yui decided to babysit some of the neighborhood kids*
Laito: "Are you two sure you should be babysitting? You seemed real freaked out when you called me last night."
Yui: "Yes, but then we figured out how to be good parents: TV and cake."
Ayato: "TV and cake were my parents."
*Ayato laughs until he starts to look sad*
Yui: "It's ok." *pats him on the back*
------------------------------------------------------------
*Ayato remembering his childhood*
Ayato: "Alright, I'm gonna go cry in the bathroom. Peace out homies!"
------------------------------------------------------------
*Literally all of the Sakamakis*
Any one of them: "Oh yeah, the guy without a mommy is the one with "mommy issues". Explain that logic."
------------------------------------------------------------
*Kou when he first started his music career*
Kou: "I was just thinking about how I'd make the perfect idol based upon my skill set, dance ability, and blood lust."
------------------------------------------------------------
Kou: "Would you tell the sky to stop being so blue?"
Ruki: "Yes. I wish it were tan."
Kou: "What?"
Ruki: "It's my favorite color. It's no nonsense."
------------------------------------------------------------
Kou: "Oh my god. I think I just figured something out."
Subaru: "Aren't you forgetting a little something?"
Kou: *hesitantly leans in and kisses Subaru on the cheek and runs away*
Subaru (flustered as hell): "NO! Pay your bill! Damn, who raised you?"
------------------------------------------------------------
*Kou during an interview*
Kou: "All young men are at least 30% attracted to me. My mother cried during the day I was born because she knew she would never be better than me."
------------------------------------------------------------
*Kino with the Sakamakis*
Kino: "How long did it take for you guys to start liking me?"
Ayato: "Couple weeks."
Laito: "Six months."
Subaru: "Jury's still out."
------------------------------------------------------------
Yui: "If I run and leap at Subaru, I know for certain that he will catch me in his arms."
*Yui runs full speed at Subaru*
Subaru: "NO! I'm holding coffee!"
Subaru: "Proceeds to drop his mug of coffee to catch Yui*
------------------------------------------------------------
*The Sakamakis, Yui, and Mukamis talking about preparing for their battle against the Tsukinamis that we never got to see because S3 of the anime was never made*
Ayato: "Hey Reiji, did you see me practicing with Pancake about our self defense techniques?"
Reiji: "I did, excellent work."
Ayato: "Great. Thanks dad."
*Literally everyone stops what they're doing and stares*
Ayato (confused): "Why's everyone staring at me?"
Shu: "You just called Reiji "dad". You said "thanks dad"."
Ayato: "What? No I didn't, I said "thanks man"."
Reiji: "Do you see me as a father figure, Ayato?"
Ayato: "No! If anything I see you as a "bother figure" because you're always bothering me."
Laito: "Hey! Show your father some respect!"
Ayato: "I didn't call him dad!"
Reiji: "No no, Ayato, I take it as a compliment."
Kanato: "Yeah. I called Yui "mom" once and she's just our food."
Ayato: "Guys! Jump on that! Kanato has psychological issues!"
Subaru: "Old news. But you calling Reiji "daddy"-"
Ayato: "Hey! "Daddy" is not on the table."
Kou: "But you did call him "dad" dude."
Ayato: "You shut up, you've done nothing but lie when you got here."
Kou: "Ok, I lied about (so and so), but the "dad" thing? That happened."
Ayato: "Aha! He admitted that he lied about (so and so). It was a trap, all apart of my crazy, devious plan."
Reiji: "I believe you. . . ."
Ayato: "Thank you."
Reiji: ". . . .son."
Ayato: 😐
Reiji: "Do you want to talk about it, over a game of catch?"
Ayato: ". . . .I'd like that."
------------------------------------------------------------
I also feel like the gif above works for Ayato with Karlheinz.

2023年04月23日: The Wedding Reception
Location: Four Seasons Hotel, Kaminashi City
The soft silvery light combined with peaceful blue decorations welcomed you to the reception room while vivacious music played in the background. The scent of lilies lingered in the air, giving a pleasant atmosphere as you stepped in and met two beaming faces.
Never had you seen Ruki smiling like that, the happiness sparkling also in his eyes. The aura of strictness still hadn't left him, yet it was clear that he had finally found his peace. Yuriko, on the other hand, was as cheery as ever but there was a hint of rosy pink on her cheeks as she gazed at you. A shy smile danced on her lips competing with the glimmering mirrors of her soul she had just tied eternally with her wedded husband.
"My wife and I are very happy to welcome you here today. Thank you so much for coming and celebrating this special day with us. Let us start with some champagne. Good food and entertainment are also waiting for you, of course. Please enjoy the evening and create a beautiful memory together with us."

Diaboys at a Crane Asada with Hispanic S/O/Reader: Mukami edition
Ruki
Please warn him in advance. Like, minimum one week ahead of time
He wants time to study up on your culture and language to impress both you and your family
Tbh he can study for a week straight and still feel incredibly under prepared
When you guys arrive, he’s going to try and speak as much Spanish as possible throughout the entire event.
His Spanish is not fantastic, but for a beginner, it’s not half bad.
Doesn’t mind the music but good lord why is it loud??
Of all the drinks served there, his favorite is sangria soda
He thought it was actually wine and he felt so sophisticated that you didn’t have the heart to tell him…your dad did on the way out though
Again, the music is really loud for his taste but damn he’s amazing at Tango ;)
He find the food to be delicious, but heavy. His favorite dish being menudo
You need to help him because your abuelita keeps pushing tamales onto his plate and no mater how hard he tries, he can’t say no to her sweet face
Hates the beer your dad and tios are drinking but he will participate in any guy talk they’re having and they’re gonna enjoy it cuz Riki’s gonna mispronounce some words
He’s surprisingly good with kids so your younger cousins love him. He tired out after a few games so you’ll have to save him
Will absolutely help clean up afterwards. Your mom ain’t touching a single dish because he has designated himself as the night’s dishwasher
Kou
So Kou is canonically a famous idol, and if K-pop Stans have taught me anything…it’s that being part of a different culture/country doesn’t stop their love of their favorite artists
So if you have family that’s a huge fan of Kou’s music…maybe leave him at home until you can safely bring him
If he DOES come along though…good luck
Any family that are fans of his are going to swarm and either try to get an autograph or steal him away.
If things go down civilly, they’ll still gawk, but they’ll probably ask you in private/over text to talk to him/get an autograph
He’s a charmer so even if no one knows who he is, he’s gonna charm the pants off your family…hopefully not literally.
He thinks a lot of the food is WAY to heavy for him but watch this man scarf down 12 quesadillas and an entire bowl of mango salsa after complaining that the food is gonna destroy his figure 🙄
Loves Fanta, piña colads and mojitos like the rich white woman he secretly is 💅
If you guys have a chihuahua or Pomeranian, he’s gonna hold them the rest of the night cuz it’s a cute tiny doggo
If you have cats…they’re his now…sorry
You have to translate for him or he’s gonna have a translation app open but he’s not gonna attempt to speak the language purely cuz he has outs
Will not touch the beer, and he’ll probably only talk to your dad or abuelito in terms of guy talk
Will play with your cousins, but only for a bit
Will not help out with clean up, he doesn’t wanna chip his nails or hurt his back…even though he’s not human and could totally handle it 😒
Your family might give him nicknames like “guerito”, “flacito” or “sancas largas” cuz he just…gives off a vibe 🍌
Your family’s impressions will be…mixed…but mostly positive!
Yuma
Oh god this one’s gonna be a wild ride
Yuma is HUGE so already I can see him being nicknamed “El Gigante” or something the moment he sets foot in the host’s home
Thankfully he has a lot of energy so he doesn’t mind the loud, rowdy atmosphere, it’s very welcoming to him actually
Which is good because first thing that’s gonna happen is your much younger relatives are gonna wanna climb him like a tree
Absolutely will play with the kids, he thinks they’re endearing, especially when they talk about his height, so he’ll play whatever games they want
Will try to learn Spanish, he’s literally only gonna pick up the bad words though
Manz can pack away the food so your family loves him
He loves the Agua Frescas because they’re so refreshing and handmade so he’ll swap recipes with someone just so he can make these drinks at home, same thing goes for the food
Your family loves all the gardening, cooking and other suck tips cuz they’re genuinely helpful. He’s probably gonna end up helping out a lot around the place
The men in your family love having a couple beers with him cuz despite his big, gruff personality, he’s very down to earth and they appreciate that
Actually really likes the music so he’s gonna dance any chance he gets
Really good at bachata dancing
One of your cousins got the oh so devilish idea to play ‘Hoedown Throwdown’ and Yuma tore it up on the dance floor like his life depended on it
Your family filmed it, your cousins sent you the videos later…you’re grateful for the multiple angles ;)
He’s gonna do almost all the cleaning when the party is over
Your parents want you to marry him tbh xD
Azusa
This boy is both one of the best and worst people you can bring
He’s the best because he’s very polite and he has a high spice tolerance so your family will very quickly start to love him
But he’s also the worst because well…the spicy food wasn’t enough pain…he wants more…
Please for the love of god do not take your eyes off him, he might try to make the biggest Tio there punch him in the face as hard as he can if you’re not careful
If you can manage to keep him in check he’s honestly lovely to bring to events like this
He’ll play with you’re younger relatives whenever they ask…might be a little too keen on playing fútbol because the ball might hit him or someone could hurt him…
Because he’s on the smaller side, your family is relentlessly offering him more food and he’s gonna eat every bite both for the stomach pain and because he doesn’t wanna be rude
Will be invited to have some cerveza with the men in your family and tbh they really like hanging out with him!
He’s very chill and a good listener, this kinda becomes a bright green flag to your family that he’s gonna treat you right and one of your tios and your Abuelito give him their blessing after some drinks
Surprisingly likes cerveza??? And he’s weirdly not a lightweight either so he’s kinda just trying all the drinks there
His favorite is the Micheladas
He wants to learn some Spanish but he’s only gonna pick up a little bit of the language by the days end, his pronunciation isn’t perfect but it’s not terrible either
If anyone asks him to help out after the party’s over l, he absolutely will help
Your tias and Abuelita love him, expect them to pinch his cheeks

Okay, I'm finally done with the annual quick reviews. Overall opinion: it's 2020 all over again but the lows are not so low (and the highs are not as high either). The competition is very open, which is refreshing after last year's one-horse race disguised as a two-horse race. There are no songs I would listen to after the contest but as a Eurovision lineup it's pretty entertaining and varied. Also, the girl-bopocalypse of 2021 was much better. Albania The decision of translating the song into English is already questionable but did we really need a fucking dance beat in the last chorus?
Armenia I love how fun it is, but I wish there were, you know, lyrics in the chorus
Australia You couldn't have made a more unsettling music video if you've tried.
Austria I don't know why they've decided to go with bloody eurodance this year. It does not feel updated for the modern times, it's not a cheeky pastiche either. We Will Rave feels like it's been lying around in a vault for the past 20+ years and then the Austrian delegation accidentally stumbled upon it and decided that yes, it will be a perfect Eurovision pick. I still don't hate it though? It might become my guilty pleasure of the year even.
Azerbaijan Why would you bring a guy with such a charismatic moustache just to do a little 10-second chant near the end? He deserves better!
Belgium I should love it. It should've been my number 1, it's Belgium going back to Dark and Moody™, it's what I always want from them. And yet I only like it. The last minute or so is great, but the lead up to that is whatever and doesn't do anything for me.
Croatia The chorus is weak and kinda generic, but the verses are so good they make up for it. The "please meow back" line receives the award for the best lyric of the year.
Cyprus For a twice (or possibly thrice) recycled song it's surprisingly okay. Nothing groundbreaking, it's still a dance-pop song from Kontopoulos, but it's fine.
Czechia I have a complex love-hate relationship with this one. The melody is great, it's exactly the kind of music I listen to outside of ESC. But good lord, do I hate the repetitive self-empowerment lyrics in the chorus.
Denmark Ehhh... She's a good singer I guess.
Estonia I think it's my favorite song of the year? Similarly to Trenulețul it just activates some primal dance spirit in me. Suit jackets on the naked body are still a crime against humanity tho.
Finland Yeah, I'm sorry, but if you hate No Rules, then you hate fun.
France France keeps trying to hide from us what's actually popular in their country.
Georgia It's another generic girl-bop ESC song, we've got half-a-dozen of these this year, but goddamn Nutsa is a fucking powerhouse.
Germany Imagine Dragons-ass production aside, the elephant sounds are such a bizarre choice.
Greece ... I'm sorry but Zari sounds like a bunch of noises with no melody to me, I'm very much not the target audience for this one and I don't get why everyone seems to love it so much.
Iceland Yeah, it's dated and kinda lame but in a very charming way.
Ireland Doomsday Blues is great, but because of all the layering and vocal distortions the live version will always be very different from the studio one. What I'm trying to say is that the live version sounds like an off-off-Broadway villain song.
Israel It's boring as fuck.
Italy It's nice but similarly to Greece I have no idea why is it so beloved by the fandom.
Latvia The song is so boring, that the most talked about part of Latvia's entry is Dons' lack of hair.
Lithuania After I've reassured myself that no, Luktelk does NOT sound like a Ruki Vverkh song it became pretty good.
Luxembourg So much potential in Luxembourg's comeback and yet they went with the most mid(tempo) song ever.
Malta Another generic girl-bop, and the closest we've gotten to an actual SloMo copycat, but it's okay I guess.
Moldova I almost forgot to write anything about Moldova before posting it, which is all you need to know about my opinion on In The Middle.
Netherlands I hate to say it, but I kinda love it? Yeah, Joost has the most punchable face in the history of humanity and I've made several references to my comedically exaggerated hatred of 90s dance music, but Europapa just keeps getting better the more I listen to it.
Norway I like it, but can't really say anything about it other than that.
Poland Very "topped at number 37 in Billboard hot 100 in 2019 and then was featured in a couple ads"-coded
Portugal One of the Portuguese entries of all time (i still like it tho)
San Marino Not as good as Arcadia but I'm happy Megara have made it to Eurovision anyway :)
Serbia It's fine.
Slovenia Similarly to Belgium, I wish I loved it more than I do.
Spain Really fun entry, iconic journey to ESC, but the weak vocals will be the reason the juries will murder Zorra in the Grand Final.
Sweden Not as forgettable as everyone says it is but it's still polished Swedish pop entry #569328
Switzerland From testing the limits of my attention span two years ago to making the most ADHD song of the year, huh. The Code is so many things at once and yet it works without feeling like a disjointed mess.
Ukraine I miss the times when Jerry was making funny meme songs, now we're stuck with her religious awakening era. Alyona's verse is the highlight of the song, everything else is good if you don't think about the lyrics too much.
United Kingdom I don't know how, but the UK has managed to make a decent song that I kind of hate yet again. The production in Dizzy annoys me to no end, I fucking hate the bells and the synths in the chorus, why are they so fucking annoying.

Hi .
I love the headcanon that you wrote for Carlayui. If you accept requests can I request a Rukiyui headcanon too? My favorite ship. And if you you don't accept its completely OK. I love your blog. Thank you so much for writing about canon ships.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed Carla x Yui headcanons, and: Sure! I can write a Ruki x Yui headcanon for you! Feel free to provide me with any specific prompts or topics you'd like me to include, or I can come up with some ideas based on my own interpretation of their relationship, just let me know!
I'd like to say that I've never explored the character very in depth, so the headcanons can be a bit shallow. However, I'll do my best to come up with some ideas based on what I do know about Ruki and Yui. They seem like an interesting couple, and I'm happy to explore their relationship dynamics.
Ruki and Yui are different in many ways, but they complement each other perfectly. Ruki is quiet and reserved, while Yui is outgoing and bubbly.
Ruki's initial treatment of Yui as livestock doesn't sit well with her, but over time, he begins to see her as more than just a means to an end.
Yui's kindness and gentle nature slowly chip away at Ruki's sadistic exterior, making him more empathetic towards her.
Ruki sees a bit of himself in Yui, as both were mistreated in their past. This causes him to feel protective of her.
Yui helps Ruki work through his trust issues towards women, as he comes to see her as someone who genuinely cares for him.
Although Ruki can be strict with Yui, he also values her intelligence and enjoys engaging in intellectual conversations with her.
Ruki's nightmares often revolve around his past traumas, but Yui is always there to comfort him and remind him that he's not alone.
As they grow closer, Ruki begins to open up to Yui about his past and the guilt he feels for what he's done in service of Karlheinz's plan.
Despite his loyalty to Karlheinz, Ruki starts to question whether the plan is worth the pain it's causing others, especially Yui.
Ruki starts to show his affection for Yui in small ways, like offering her his jacket when she's cold or bringing her favorite tea when she's stressed.
Despite his tough exterior, Ruki can be very gentle and caring towards Yui. He likes to take care of her when she's feeling down or sick.
Eventually, Ruki realizes that his feelings for Yui go beyond simple protectiveness or loyalty. He begins to see her as someone he truly loves.
Ruki and Yui's first kiss took place during a moonlit walk in the garden. Oddly, in that situation Ruki was too shy to make the first move, but Yui surprised him by leaning in and pressing her lips to his.
Ruki and Yui love going to the library together. They both share a love for literature and enjoy reading in each other's company.
Ruki is not the jealous type, but he can't help feeling a little possessive when Yui spends too much time with other guys. Yui finds it endearing and always reassures him that he's the only one for her.
Yui finds Ruki's possessiveness endearing, but sometimes it can be a bit suffocating. She doesn't mind it too much, though, because she knows he means well.
Ruki likes to call Yui “my love” when they're alone together.
Ruki and Yui often talk about their future together. Ruki dreams of building a life with Yui in the countryside, where they can grow their own food and live a simple, peaceful life.
Ruki hates it when Yui leaves books lying around the house and Yui gets annoyed when Ruki spends too much time grooming his hair.
Yui is the person who can make Ruki smile genuinely. He's not much of a smiler in general, but she has a way of bringing out his softer side.
Ruki loves surprising Yui with little gifts and romantic gestures. He once set up a candlelit dinner for her in the garden, complete with her favorite foods and music.
Ruki said “I love you” to Yui for the first time when they were stargazing together. Yui was so surprised and happy that she couldn't stop smiling.
Yui and Ruki are very intimate with each other, both physically and emotionally. They enjoy cuddling and holding hands, and always make time for each other in their busy schedules.
Ruki and you like to mix things up when it comes to date night. They've gone to concerts, visited museums, and even taken dance lessons together.
Ruki and Yui rarely fight, but when they do, it's usually over something small and silly. They always make up quickly and apologize to each other.
Ruki's love language is acts of service, while Yui's is words of affirmation. They make sure to show their love for each other in the ways that they each prefer.
Ruki and Yui enjoy visiting the local library, where they can read books and discuss their favorite topics.
They also like to visit the park, where they can have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Another activity they like to do is going for walks, either in nature or in the city, where they can explore new areas and have deep conversations.
Yui is Ruki's safe haven, and he feels completely at ease when he's with her. He knows that she will always love and support him, no matter what, she has a calming effect on Ruki. When he's with her, he feels like he can let his guard down and just be himself.
Ruki is always willing to listen to Yui's problems and offer her advice or support whenever she needs it.
Yui is the only person Ruki has ever been truly vulnerable with. He trusts her completely and knows she would never judge him.
Yuma is supportive of Ruki and Yui's relationship, often teasing them and giving them privacy when they need it, he enjoys seeing his brother happy and in love.
Azusa is fascinated by the dynamic between Ruki and Yui, often observing them and analyzing their behavior. He is protective of Yui and worries about her safety, but trusts Ruki to take care of her.
Kou is initially skeptical of Ruki's relationship with Yui, but eventually comes around when he sees how much they care for each other. He often gives Ruki advice on how to keep the romance alive.
Ruki enjoys spending time with Yui and his brothers together, often organizing outings or activities that they can all enjoy. He values their input on his relationship and wants them to be happy for him.
Azusa is always willing to help Yui with anything she needs, whether it be a listening ear or someone to confide in. He sees her as an important part of the Mukami family.
Yuma enjoys teasing Ruki and Yui about their relationship, often making playful jokes and poking fun at their affectionate behavior. He likes to see them happy and carefree.
Kou often acts as a mediator between Ruki and Yui when they have disagreements, helping them to see each other's point of view and find a compromise.
Ruki is not the most physically affectionate person, but he is more open with Yui than with anyone else. They hold hands and occasionally embrace, but they prefer to show their love through small gestures and acts of kindness.
All my written content is original, however, I do not claim ownership of the characters depicted. ©2023-Present.

Yoooo it’s your girl, this girl 🤠
So I’ve finally done the impossible,
I’ve gotten into Proseka!
I’ve done NOTHING as you can see but I feel like after over 5 attempts (Attempts being me redownloading and deleting the game for reasons I can’t remember) THIS is the timeline I finally get into it!
Only reason I haven’t pulled at all yet other then the 4 star Ruki I was amazingly lucky to get they’re having an event banner with my least favorite group I’m waiting to end (Pulls in my experience are hard to save up in this game so sorry group I don’t like that much whose name I can’t be bothered to spellcheck rn)
If I had to rank the groups in this point in time it’d be
1. More More Jump!
2. Wonderland x showtime
3. Leo need
4. Vivid bad squad
5. 25 something 🫠
I’m a giant Mitchie M fan and More More jump just HAPPENS to have all my favorite vocaloid songs like- literally also I’m a slut for Idols so 🤷♀️
With wonderland x showtime it’s pretty much the same thing as More More jump just to a lesser degree I like Tsukasa’s “star factor” and I just find his whole “I wanted to cheer my little sister up” thing endlessly endearing (I’m a sucker for a good big brother idk) Rui Is handsome, Nene is adorable and I like Emu’s energy!
I like Leo Need’s characters and story more then their music tbh ya see as you can probably tell my personal experience with Vocaloid before this game plays a lot into my opinion of the groups and while I love J-rock and the like I never ventured much into that sphere with Hatsune Miku but I’m pretty much an infant when it comes to this whole “Sector” of vocaloid but I do like it! Especially “Roki Roki” it’s my favorite! Also Saki and Ichika are my favorite Proseka girls (My other two favorites being Minori and An)
With Vivid bad squad I think they’re cute but they don’t do much for me, but again I love An, I think Touya is cute and they do have songs I like just not as many as other groups! (Ready steady and drop candy to name some!) but dang it An is cute! I wanna eat the Candy in her hair! *Noms at nothing*
25 nightcord does absolutely nothing for me I’m sorry everybody, I have failed every emo in the classroom. You see as I’ve said previously my past experience with vocaloid plays a lot into my experience with the groups of this game and they represent a lotta different vocaloid “Sections” really well! The hip hop inspired stuff the stuff trying to be more Idoly or cheerful and even rock! And of course, Emo vocaloid (I say this with affection) It’s part of our culture damn it! But like I found vocaloid as a kid and as a kid… I was drawn to shiny pink bubblegum stuff (L.O.L was my anthem as a kid) So the emo stuff flew under my radar very easily I didn’t hear Rolling girl until last year (And I did myself a favor it’s a masterpiece!) But other then one or 2 I can’t think of I can’t think of a single 25 song I like and the characters haven’t done anything for me YET (I hope this will change)
Anyway I’m also gonna talk about D4DJ mix cause as much as I’m enjoying ProSeka I’m enjoying that more lmao
(Link to D4DJ post cause they’re sisters I guess)

And to make a sum up post cause, many of my favorites had stopped even before the corona...This year seems to be full of activity already so yeah...to sum up:
1) Alice Nine will go on hiatus/disband (can’t tell based on the way they announced it)
2) D had announced 5 years ago they will end their activity in 5 years and yet keep giving hints that might not be the case this year that is their “final“ based on what they said in the past.
3) Takeru drops his sleepyhead project to find himself and what he wants from his music but still did an anniversary live with songs from all his projects and released a video that hinted the 39-day tour with Sug that was announced yesterday. (aka after that there is probably another solo project coming)
4) The Gazette have a countdown on their website that is ending soon. Ruki posted recently he is writing new songs and NIL DUE/NIL UN has a new collection out so it could be a new album or single announcement.
5) Ikuma says he wants to come back in the scene and is close to finding what he wants to do next but isn’t sure.
6) Mizaly came back as support to Sui/David and they even started a project together with a few more musicians that seems to have stabilized as a band that will have more releases soon.
7) Yuki will take 1 year break for his health, so Versailles lives are put to a pause again if I understood well? Kamijo went back to focusing on the solo and announced that a new photoshoot is already done so we will definitely release sth during the year
8) Gackt is doing lives again.
9) Ken did some lives with a girlgroup as support. Tano put him up to it and generally, since AND’s 1 day revival live, he is pretty active after around 9 years of retirement and makes me wonder whether he wants to be in a new band or not.
10) Peco wanted back too and last year he had a chance for an actual comeback but his daughter was born and he put it aside for her safety cause Corona is still everywhere and he doesn’t want to endanger his kid’s life by performing in venues.
11) Suzune is still active on his official social media even though he is not performing and since last year he told us he wants to be more dilligent with tweeting so I dunno if he does that cause there is another band coming or not. I think Liraizo are over cause whenever I see Yuki as a vocal support around they write “ex. Liraizo“.
12) Kazuki said yes to another musician’s live. This one is most likely to be nothing but that, cause he’s participated to a few people’s lives over the years of his retirement. He’s always been open about his love for performing alone and not being a big fun of the rest of the fuss of the job so I guess it makes sense but a girl can still dream.
13) Byo is back for solo performances, I don’t know if that will solidify as a solo project at some point with different musicians supporting each time, or not, but for now, his current lineup seems to be his support for as many lives as he chooses.
14) Rui’s current band, Articlear, went on hiatus if I’m not mistaken? So he is open for anything band-related again. He dropped the boygroup he was in (thankfully if you ask me cause in a video he did during their rehearsals he didn’t seem very happy) and another project that had nth more but their start’s photoshoot announced...I’m not sure what he is going to do.
That’s all I have...many mysteries, no answers...yeah, this year will be quite sth for sure.
