hm. tierlist on how good of a hugger i think the pjsk cast is. vocaloids are thrown in at random. personal headcannons GALORE

tenma tsukasa. canonically an amazing big brother. this comes with the territory. he's also a human radiator so it feels very soft and warm. also has good strength so you feel very safe. 10/10 would hug again.

wxs luka. she is chubby and soft and sleepy. this is the ideal person TO hug. only thing keeping her from that number one spot is the fact she will fall asleep in your arms which is cute for about ten seconds.

mochizuki honami. she is canonically BUFF AS HELL and also SOFT. a hug from honami will instantly make you forget every single one of your worries. also she smells like apple pie.

otori emu. she may not have luka, hona, or kasa's height, but she has more than enough wonderhoy to make up for it. getting hugged by emu is like getting hugged by the worlds nicest weighted blanket.

hanasato minori. if i could go to a mmj fan meetup the first thing i would do is ask minori for a hug. she will hug you like she means it. and she does very much mean it. i just think it would be nice.

tenma saki. she will give you hugs CONSTANTLY in that super friendly "we're gonna jump in a circle while i hug you because im so happy to see you" way. will it be a long hug? no. will it make you feel instantly happy and welcome? yes. and that my friend is valid.

vbs meiko. it's a hug from your mother (or what you imagine a hug from a good mother like figure to be). safe and secure. familiar.

hinomori shizuku. if you are nice to her she will find a way to give you a hug. she smells like dewdrops in the morning. it's a very refreshing hug.

shiraishi an. everyone needs a big bear hug from a strong lesbian every now and again. also she will pick you up halfway through the hug so be ready.

shinonome akito. i dont think there is a single card where he is next to toya and not either actively giving him a hug or very much thinking about it. also hes warm and that's nice. he will not try and hug you first unless your name is aoyagi toya.

momoi airi. actually a very good hug. she will hold you tight for a few seconds. big fan of the shoulder side hug.

l/n luka. its like a hug from that cool upperclassman you had a tiny crush on in high school. objectively a very neutral hug but she's cool and it makes you feel safe.

kiritani haruka. she has perfected her idol hug throughout the years. it is a blend of hopeful, reassuring, and slightly impersonal. she tries though and you have to love her for it. if you're a haruka stan it's an instant 1 though.

azusawa kohane. honestly fantastic hugger it's a very friendly and kind sort of feeling. she's just not confident enough to give you a good one unless you're close.

yoisaki kanade. she kind of smells like bo and ramen but it's ok because a hug from kanade makes you feel instantly safer. kanade hugs are full of reassurance and safety. a reminder that you are not alone and you will be saved.

hoshino ichika. she has a very basic hug but there is love and hatsune miku inside of it so that's pretty cool

n25 miku. she learned what a hug is last week and has been practicing non-stop since. len likes this. meiko and kaito do not.

akiyama mizuki. in theory? incredible hugger. will hold you nice and tight. in practice? too scared of emotional intimacy to ever put it to practice.

shinonome ena. also someone who in theory would give great hugs but in practice unless you're having an emotional crisis she will try and scratch you to get out when she's done with it.

kusanagi nene. she's too anxious to try giving you a hug unless your name is otori emu, and even then it's really only reciprocation. she smells a bit like grapefruit and ocean waves somehow.

hinomori shiho. unless your name is tenma saki she will not hug you back. refuses to jump with her though.

kamishiro rui. im sorry he's bony as hell and will think he's not worthy of such kindness for a solid ten minutes. it's not the worst hug in the world but it's certainly the worst of wxs.

asahina mafuyu. hugging maf is like trying to hug an ice cube (physically and emotionally). not recommended unless you are desperate.

ichika looks. mostly how she does in canon to me. i do think she’s a bit gangly, just without the height. the way she carries herself is pretty awkward, and she has bad posture.

saki is a part-time mobility aid user. i’m not sure which one specifically she would use, but either way it’s decked out in all kinds of stickers. also i don’t like how ambiguous her being a gyaru is in canon, but she is one. also all three tenmas have dimples and yes i’m including toya

honami is fat why is she not fat in canon. also, she straightens her bangs, but stops doing that going into her 2nd year once she’s gained more confidence in herself. her hair is naturally super wavy. freckle haver

shiho has really broad shoulders, and also she has a septum piercing and a bunch of ear piercings.

minori has So Many Freckles, and her teeth are a bit crooked. she’s mixed japanese-mexican

haruka also looks mostly how she does in canon, but i think she starts to dress a lot more masc over time, and gets her hair cut shorter too. a big reason she dresses so plain and feminine is because she thinks it’s how she should dress as an idol

airi’s hair is thick in the like. getting the brush stuck in it way, and is also a lot wavier than it is in canon to me. mixed hispanic/japanese, but i don’t have a specific ethnicity i headcanon her as

shizuku, like shiho, has broad shoulders. she’s also 5’10 because tall girls pretty and she deserves to be taller. has more moles than in canon

kohane is mixed korean-japanese, and she is freckly. good for her. also chubby. good for her

an is filipino-japanese. ken is my favorite filipino single dad of all time (i am ignoring the fact that an has a mother. ken is a single father). also maybe she’s taller than she is in canon because i think it’d be funny if she was taller than akito in heels

akito is hispanic/japanese and shorter than he is in canon (he’s like 5’5) and he eventually grows his hair out into a mullet and he has piercings and his hair is not naturally orange. i will not accept it until they show shinomom on-screen and she is a ginger. my good mutual zip has converted me to fat akito as well so there’s that. i’ve just been playing dress up with him and now canon akito looks wrong to me

toya… i decided this just now he is a person with albinism. good for him. and dimples because tenma

tsukasa like i said earlier also has dimples. also he should be allowed to grow out his hair but he has not yet.

i confess i have nothing for emu. i tend to draw her with freckles though sometimes. and actually i take that back i like the hc of her being blasian. she has beaded braids a lot. i can see her getting wxs colors :)

nene is blasian as well. also chubby. why is there no body type variation in proseka (i know why don’t try to explain it to me) make some of them fat i’m begging you

rui has the most fucked up teeth. his canines are like fangs vampire style. had braces as a kid and they did not work. also has heterochromia. one blue eye and one yellow. he is so extremely lanky and i don’t believe for a second he is 5’10 this guy is like 6’0

kanade is so frail and i don’t know why she is drawn like almost the same as the others when she is literally like ghostly pale and sickly but that’s besides the point. the worst eyebags you’ve ever seen.

mafuyu is like. i think she starts to lose weight during her 2nd year at the height of all her stress, but begins to gain back what she lost in her 3rd. she is fat. also cuts her hair shorter

ena is mixed hispanic/japanese obvi and she has naturally wavier hair. also has horrible dark circles. is naturally chubbier and she is once she gains a healthier relationship with food. it’s the good ending guys gaining weight as a sign of healing.

mizuki mizuki mizuki. taller than she is in canon by kind of a lot. like 5’7-5’8. mostly because mizuena height difference is good. also has streaks of lighter and darker pink throughout her hair because it’s natural and that’s how hair works (it’s especially prominent with her though).

all 4 of them get gray hairs early because of stress. ena and mizuki dye them and the other two do not care enough.

Hey Caden! You mentioned your family on Poppy and Aster's blog, mind if we ask?

Oh yeah! Sure thing! I actually have some pictures I can share.

First up is my dad, who's an Aura user and has the most atrocious fashion sense I've ever seen. He's in his late forties 49, and he's a really nice guy who likes to joke around, and works at the pokemon center. He's chill at all times, and never gets mad unless it's massive.

Next is my mom. She's a hex maniac and a psychic, and loves her ghost types. She jokes around about disowning us if we don't suggest summoning ghosts at least five times when given the opportunity. Yes, she is chubby, make fun of her and I'll come over there and obliterate your brains, something my siblings and father will probably join in on. And before anyone asks, no, she is NOT related to Rui's family. She's in her late forties too at 48.

Also, she has a birthmark, but it isn't too noticeable because of how pale she is, though three outta the four of us inherited it, making it look like we have Vitiligo.

As for their kids, this is Nepolian, he's the oldest at 28, and the only one who ended up being an Aura user. He can't see ghosts, or hear them, but he can still feel their general location.

Next is my big sister Bridgette, a hex maniac like mom and the second oldest at 25. She can channel ghosts, as well as see, hear, and sense them. She can't really make them visible though. Bridge is very serious and stern and has zero tolerance for tomfoolery.

Okay, I may be exaggerating on that, but she's worse than Aster and then she'll ghost you for doing anything even slightly reckless, like climbing a short tree. We don't hear from her much, and she tends to avoid us unless we ask her to help with a spiritual issue.

I think maybe she has some problems she needs to resolve.

Yeah, I do too... She's always been distant.... I hope she can forgive me for my reckless stupidity, family gatherings just aren't the same without her there scolding us for getting seconds and thirds of the desserts without touching the actual food.

Next we have the baby of the family at just 15, Nick. He's a Channeler with the ability to not just see, hear, and sense ghosts, but to make them visible to others as well. He's a psychic like me and mom, and he can even use those psychic abilities on ghosts, though he's not very experienced with that last part. He just needs more practice controlling his abilities is all.

And then there's me, the second youngest at 22. I'm a pretty strong psychic, and we've already established that I'm a certified chaotic dumbass who's name should be changed to Reckless Idiot. While I can't see ghosts, I can still sense and hear them, which comes in handy. I'm literate in some languages, just barely for a few.
