Vlahd is Ugi’s father. We made this oc for an eddsworld fancomic. But in that world Ugi died and he survived.

Vlahd and Ugi live in split universes where only one can be alive over the other. We have no intent of them meeting again.

This is The Heroes of Tomorrow (T.H.O.T.) which entails the story following after Vlahd’s death and is Ugi’s story. Vlahd will not be in this series since he is dead. Ugi is found and raised by her adoptive alien father - Rufus Abel.

The Magisterium is incredibly abelist when you think about it, and I don't think we talk about that enough. Not only do they have a test to get in where you have to climb a rope ladder (that there didn't seem to be any magical solution for), but they also constantly treated Call badly for being disabled which was so weird. They also have major issues with victim blaming people with PTSD like Call and Alastair, as well as the various devoureds and the devourds families (like the Rajavi's). Like, they are CONSTANTLY shitting on Call and Alastair for not trusting the Magisterium or thr Assmbly when in reality they have absolutely no reason to trust the Magisterium and the Assembly.

And the books just...never acknowledge this? They actually act like it was fair for Rufus to not only a) choose a traumatized young boy terrified for his life as a PUNISHMENT FOR HIMSELF (because yeah, Call and Alastair's situation is so hard on YOU, Rufus /s) but also b) literally TELL CALL THAT to basically shame him for being afraid for his life. And on top if that, later having Alastair become devoured as a punishment for the crime of....not wanting to send his child and last remaining family member into the care of people that caused the death of everyone else he loved and hundreds of other people. Like the books actually act like that makes sense!

I knew there was something I really didn't like about the first book and I couldn't put my finger on it for so long, until one day it hit me. There was SO MUCH victim blaming in that book it was disgusting.

Also, side note for something kind of unrelated but also kind of similar: the log thing in the first book makes NO sense. Like, they're SUPPOSED to have a hard time staying on the logs. That's the point. They use some magic to throw water and some magic to balance themselves, hence using two types of magic at once. So Call easily could have done that. Yeah, it may have been harder for him than the other kids because he wouldn't have as much natural balance, but the whole point is that they're not relying on the natural balance. So why was he exlcuded? And Call fell off of CELIA'S log. He jumped on when she fell off laughing and totally unharmed. Celia didn't drown or get injured but somehow Call did??? It was the same log. And even if he did get injured from this exercise, wouldn't that be the MASTERS fault? I mean, they're the ones holding exercises where kids are expected to fall into the water in places where people's legs can get caught under the water and make them almost die from drowning. Why are we blaming Call for this???????

***I have a ton of other issues with the logistics of the Iron Trial test, as well as lots of other major plot points in this series that actively harm the characters for absolutely no reason, that I really want to rant about too, but that's probably better for another day

So branwen was able to come back, but do cain and/or rufus come back in the timewarp? I feel like jack would be so happy to have his boys back ❤️

branwen coming back was a hypothetical in timewarp canon pets do not timewarp there would be too many rip but jack has his new puppy lou that he loves very much. rufus lived a good long life and passed away of old age in his sleep still on jack's bed (which was... just another blow for jack's psyche in canon era).

bill does suspect his beautiful catahoula cur he named abel in cain's memory might somehow be a reincarnation of cain. he is a similarly sweet and loving of almost everyone in the gang and bounds up to absolutely everyone like he knows them, except for being uncharacteristically aggressive and going as far as to bite micah unprovoked.

Former first Governor General of Crossbell and a man from the great aristocrat family of Duke Albarea of the Erebonian Empire. He was imprisoned as a war criminal after the GreatWwar, but two and a half years ago during the second Crossbell incident, an imposter pretending to be Rufus appeared, so he operated under as the masked knight C. After meeting Swin, Nadia, and Lapis, he has the opportunity to reevaluate his life. Following the incident, Rufus threw away his past and took action in secret with Lapis and company to watch over the future of Zemuria, while also being marked by his former enemy, the Central Intelligence Department of the Republic.

An artificial intelligence of the technological singularity Elysium that inhabits an Rosenberg Studio-made orbal doll. She has human-like susceptibility such as being fixated on giving things cute names and always trying to eat more, but also has tremendous processing capabilities as an artificial intelligence. During a bizarre incident in the Republic, she had her artificial intelligence overwritten and used, but thanks to the Arkride Solutions Office, the Bracer Guild, Swin, and company, she managed to regain her original persona. After this, she went to Ored with Rufus and transferred her artificial intelligence into a new body thanks to the technical prowess of Meister Jorg and Marduk Total Security Company.

Swin Abel (voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara)

“I’m here because I was able to face something… no, someone I hold dear like you.”

A former assassin who escaped the assassins organization Garden and wields a special set of dual blades that can combine and create “markings.” While he may seem dry and rationalistic at first glance, under the surface he is not coldhearted, but a straightforward man of common sense. After escaping Garden with Nadia, they made an oath never to take anyone’s life again, and started a new life with Rufus and Lapis. In The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki – Farewell O Zemuria, he is sent off on a mission with Rufus, but runs into Kevin, who is targeting the assassins of Garden as part of his illegal hunting…

A former assassin girl and Swin’s partner who uses her “Baron Bear,” a stuffed animal with special needs and hidden tools, as a weapon. She is often found being lazy or fawning on Swin, but she is actually a realist with a cold and serious way of thinking. She cares about her partner Swin more than anyone else, and secretly supports him by using her incredible calculation abilities to analyze information and prevent threats from others. Perhaps due to her keen sense of threat detection, she is constantly suspicious of Kevin’s actions.

Elaine Auclair (voiced by Chiwa Saito)

An A-rank bracer known by the name “Beauty’s Blade” for her beauty and mastery of the sword. She comes from a distinguished family that runs the confections manufacturer Quincy Company, but after graduating from high school, she overcame her family’s opposition and walked her own path to becoming a bracer. While still understanding their respective positions, she was able to gradually rebuild a relationship with Van, her childhood friend and former school sweetheart with whom she overcame various incidents that occurred in the Republic. In the midst of this… Elaine comes catches wind that anti-immigration organizations around Zemuria are taking action in sync with the Republic’s Startaker Project, and starts her investigation as a bracer.

Rene Kincaid (voiced by Jun Fukuyama)

“It’s classified. You should know this as the head of Arkride Solutions Office.”

An aide and agent of the Central Intelligence Department. He handles a tremendous amount of work while also carrying out operations in the field. He resolutely performs his duties even against those in power, so even President Gramheart respects him. He is like an older brother to Van and Elaine, and while being aware of their different positions, warmly watches over them. However, as the Startaker Project enters its operations phase and the Central Intelligence Department focuses its resources on the plan, his position makes it more difficult to maintain the relationship he previously had.

Backstory: Raised by her mother (Naomi) in a small apartment in New Jersey, Hosanna decided to move to England to be with her father (Moses). Hosanna didn't know much about her father, the only real information she had on him was, he wrestled for a living, and had once teamed with Damo Lucifarian. Hosanna lived with her dad while in England, and he taught her everything he knew about wrestling. Hosanna eventually had a good relationship with her father, unfortunately, it was cut off when he died in a plane crash, the month before she turned 18, By the time she was 20 (1980) Holly had joined the 'Lucifarian Family' as Sloth, because of her lackadaisical attitude towards care for her opponent, if Hosanna split someone open, she couldn't care less, and often says that her opponents should be tougher.
