obviously not asker, but i want to show off my dog because she’s secretly a cat and i love her:

she’s a lab... something. (my guess is pit bull, but my mom’s sticking with rhodesian ridgeback - and she does get a rather impressive mohawk when she’s in alert mode.) but literally, she has this purring thing she does when she’s content, she’s eerily good at climbing, hates water despite being very lab in other ways and sleeps SO much. 100/10 best dog-that-is-secretly-a-cat ever.

Firstly it got to 49°c

Dunno where you guys are living but for me I felt like I was gonna die 🤚

My friend on the other hand was sunbathing got so long that a staff member asked her to go inside because they were worried she would get heat stroke.

I need to get a picture of the beach but here’s what it looks like generally.

Also there was this little cat in a plant pot that I would like to share

He was adorable but very violent. He did not like people.

Soo yeah, I’m on a boat trip thing tomorrow and i should get to see some dolphins and stuff so I’ll try get some photos of those :)

Hopefully I can try write at least one thing or finish something for you all at some point this week but I don’t wanna promise anything right now!

this reminds me of how when I first got Rue, I'd sometimes talk at her through my tuba and she'd always be so intrigued by it

One thing I love about Lambchop is if I make a weird or silly or unusual noise or move my body in a weird or silly or unusual way, she fucking LOVES it. She immediately stops what she is doing and stares at me and tilts her head and wags her tail. If I keep doing it she will dance over and put her pointy little snoot in my face to see what is happening and why. When Trixie was here I had to continually watch my tone of voice and volume and how I moved bc if i made a noise she wasnt used to, or limped or skipped or jumped weirdly, it freaked her the fuck out. She became VERY upset. It was stressful having to constantly monitor and control my affect so she didn't get freaked out. Lambchop LOVES novelty. She is so curious!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!

I think she psychically knew I was writing this because as I hit post she got up and left the room

I love my dog very very much and I am very very happy to be dog sitting her for my dad this weekend but falling asleep with her in the room is genuinely an impossible task. This dog makes so much noise it’s actually impressive
