N e ways… I never see anyone says this buttt I think Hazel and her mum deff have a kinda close (but kinda fractured currently) friendship, where Hazel’s mum knows she’s into girls. And when reader comes around for the first time (even if platonically) Ms Callahan is all like “So,,, your Hazels ‘friend’?? *wink wink*” when she finds you in the kitchen alone.

Also, Hazel would def be so embarrassed at her Mums behavior until reader is laughing and saying how sweet it is… just thoughts. Erg I’m in love with losers…

wait i love this. her mom lowkey thinks that hazel can’t pull (ms callahan has good intentions i swear) so when hazel brings a girl home for a ‘study session’ for the first time, her mom is automatically in her business. popping into her room every now and then, asking if you guys were hungry or thirsty, etc.

so. i get this question a lot but your ask is like, the polite version lol, so i’ll actually answer. i’m not sure what bad experiences you’ve had on tumblr but i’m really sorry you went through that. any experience where you’re exposed to something you don’t want to be exposed to can be traumatizing and exhausting, and if anyone was trying to push your boundaries with those things, that’s not okay. i’m honestly grateful you felt like you could ask this question in this space.

anyway let me start by saying i personally support the harkness test for monster (or fictional character) fucking.

personally, i am not into rocket “because” he’s a raccoon. (and is he? is he really? he does not remind me of the raccoons who my mom tells me about during our weekly phone call, who keep trying to kill her chickens and move into her garage. though frankly, i still root for the raccoons). the only thing truly raccoonlike about rocket is his body, and even that is questionable (have you seen that shoulder-to-waist ratio? that is not a chubby lil raccoon). sure he's got the stripey tail and the black mask and the twitchy lil ears and ruby-red eyeshine, but beyond that, he has been altered not just down to his brains and his bones, but to his genes. when rocket says there's no thing like him except him, he's... absolutely being truthful.

god, i honestly have so much to say about what raccoon means in the context of gotg but like. you're not here for that. maybe it'll be a separate longwinded post you can read if you want.

all this to say that personally, i am not generally attracted to raccoons. though i guess if we ever find one that is self-aware enough to evaluate their own emotionalistic intelligence (and considers it lacking), can speak a clear human language and sings like bradley cooper, regularly walks upright and has opposable thumbs, has an incredibly sarcastic sense of humor, is a tech-genius, is an incredible (though not infallible) single dad, has a complicated relationship with the thought of his own death, and regularly saves the galaxy, i may have to see if my opinion changes

but that kinda seems like a tomorrow-problem

tbh bodies have never been that important to me in terms of attraction. so yeah. i like rocket (and i find him attractive) because i see him as a character of such rich empathy that the only way he knows how to protect himself is to try and turn his empathy off. i like him because he fails at turning off his empathy, pretty much every fuckin time.

i like him because he knows what pain and loss are, and because he blames himself for things so obviously outside of his locus of control (me too, buddy, me too).

i like how he loves people, so deeply he carries them in his bones and never gives up their memories — not just batch 89, either, but also all the guardians who had been snapped into ash. he holds onto them so hard that he brings them back from the dead.

frankly i also like that he's acab and a leftist. (don't tell me this motherfucker escaped from twenty-three prisons and thinks defunding the cops is enough. he doesn't.)

i like how scrappy he is, and how devoted he is, and how sarcastic he is, and what a good dad he is, and i love how he is constantly underestimated by literally everyone (but by himself most of all).

and when i get to write him a little snuggle time — platonically or, erm, less platonically — it heals something for me, and hopefully maybe for a reader or two. like, yeah, okay, you're scared and lonely and hurting and sometimes you say mean things that you regret and sometimes you don't like yourself very much. sometimes you don't feel like you belong in your own body, and sometimes you feel purposeless and worthless and low, and sometimes you feel guilty just for breathing. but hey, you still deserve to feel like you can offer your kindness, and your warmth, and your connection, and your community, and your love.

and you deserve to let yourself receive those things too.

Notes of warning/importance

I have a slight headcannon for some lore here. The circles are giant domed cities connected to one another via tubes with plenty of ventilation to keep out the mists from what I call the badlands. These mists corrupt almost all who enter by first slowly but noticably draining a demons sentience turning them into beasts of burden with one mission and one mission only...Feed. of course it also slowly corrupts the form until it's a complete feral form of itself. The only beings so far known to resist the mists were Lucifer and Lilith aside from the dragon twins. I also suck at art like my blog description says so I used avatar makers to make the pictures here and I'll just use an image of deathwing from world of Warcraft/blizzard entertainment for Bahamut 's dragon form and an ancient silver dragon from DND/wizards of the coast for tiamaht's until I can better form arts of the dragon modes better myself.

Character intros

These are the twin dragons of hell Bahamut (left), Keeper of Knowledge was manifested billions of ages ago when Hell was a singular realm and not split into the 7 circles that we have now in modern day. According to many legends of him (and to confirm them) he IS Hell's oldest living encyclopedia and a master strategist. He has the wit, but not the power, to far exceed any modernly known demon...including the Radio Demon himself. But if he were put into a fight of raw power against say, angel dust, the spirder'd be burned to a crisp. He believes in Charlie's ambitious nature but as a Primordial Daemon, Bahamut is bound to Hell and can never be redeemed despite his efforts and has made peace with that. (Physical notes not said: he's 5'10, he's not lacking for anyone he's with and though I didn't find a good one he does have a longer tail to sell the dragon aspect further)

His sister Tiamaht, Protectorate or Relics(right) was a demon born before Hell was divided into the 7 circles we know now. She, like her brother, is an extremely loyal demon. She is the strength to her brother's strategy yet is far more nomadic than him. Of course she's not all that into planning without Bahamut there. Unlike Bahamut though she uses ice magic instead of flame magic. In person lately she is very tomboyish and kind of a dick but openly admits as such but follows up with "people need people to be blunt sometimes and it's not easy but if I'm the one who has to in situations I'm then I'll make sure I tell it how it is" (physical details not told yet: shes 5'3, they may not be bif but her partners love em, also has a tail she uses to teasingly spank partners.)

FRRR and that's such a pity because i could love both versions of ruby - the darker ruby and the original ruby, as long as they would be written properly!!! Even both versions of Ruby in one story would work out if it was her doing the progress, changing herself, and not Aqua 'fixing' her💀.

And ur so right about how it seems there's no point in the bh arc happening and she messed with things a lot yet?? it didn't have any influence on the story?? Even her sudden change in personality didn't affect her relationships negatively. It's not only that narrative doesn't punish her, it seems to nullify/take away any sort of natural and realistic consequences to anything she did, while giving importance on the stuff she didn't do - for example, surpassing Ai. Atp she only serves as a plot device. Because not only her actions don't matter, her pain doesn't matter, right now Ruby acts like she never suffered a day in her life which is soo unrealistic. And i remember Kana saying Ruby acting and being on cloud nine is her ignoring her problems and she will end up falling but? it seems that was forgotten too?!?

I hate how unexplored her trauma is, because no one could be 100% fine after living what she has been through.. I loooved the chapter of her seeing her mom's new life but after Aqua saves her, he metaphorically and literally moves her away from Ruby, instead of her naturally letting go, and stands as a direct wall between Ruby and her trauma.. it doesn't work like that!! One has to have agency to work out their past properly! Ruby is still the little kid before whom the doors were closed, unable to confront reality because of people protecting her. Not strong enough to push it open as long as someone sits blocking it on the other side, keeping her away from the truth.

I would really prefer Aka doing a year long break and planning everything properly after the reveal than whatever this is.. i know doing a weekly manga is especially difficult because of how you can't turn back.. but I think there were better options than putting such a ruined character as the guiding light in the finale. (Like, Kana who might be the best and most coherently written characters is completely gone right now.)

Oh and!

You're righttt, it's kinda unfair to say Aqua and Kamiki are the same when Aqua, just like Ai, was always careful to not hurt other people in his goal, his revenge itself was an only expression of love he could give while being overwhelmed by guilt, just like Ai with lies and love! And when he did inevitably hurt others, just like Ai did too, he planned to leave them to not cause more pain... just like Ai!!!! I understand Aqua thinks of himself much worse.. but I hope narrative doesn't as well, this comparision being put above Ruby/Kamiki comparison would fall flat while the main thing connecting son and dad was also shared by Ruby in her revenge arc! (hopelessnes, being ruthless - which she was more, lying, bringing misfortune - which she brought more in the little time she had.). And beside this one she had more parallels like lying to be loved, being dependant and clingy etc.

Idk I just feel so bad for Aqua even tho he's not my favorite 😭 because his mindset is so sad and it shouldn't be validated by the author... Which it might not be! the only thing that could make the sudden parallels make sense is if there's a plottwist about Kamiki's intention and he was much more self-sacrificating than we thought. (But along with 'We're the same' line Aqua called him selfish...which Aqua never was.)

And yeah the movie arc ruby/ai parallels were overdone i feel.. sorry that the post is already too long😭. Just gonna say the transition from Ruby wanting to be like mama to her not wanting to follow her path bc she finally sees the wrongs would be so great if it didn't try to convince us along the way that she actually became exactly just like Ai in her trauma (even in her fight with Kana she was much more willing to show her anger than Ai ever was, because unlike Ai ruby blames/punishes others to hide from her guilt.) I mean all the family is very similar and Ai and Ruby are too.. just not this much and not more than Ruby and Kamiki.

Another thing that made me stop was how ruby is said to be a pure star that doesn't know lies and manipulation like hikaru and aqua do, which is so silly because... it's literally not true? Ruby has done a lot of terrible things in her black star era and definitely was more reckles with manipulation etc than Aqua! And I get that this is Aqua's little sister, no wonder he'd said smth like this and sees her in this light but... it seems narrative will never make her face any consequences and with everything going on - it keeps treating Ruby as this pure goddess full of love that never did anything wrong, and keeps rewarding her for that, while also never acknowleding everything that she did, never making her regret hurting others, and pretends this didn't happen at all... had entire ruby black-star arc not matter at all? What was that for if we're supposed to pretend it didn't happen?

Actually, not only that arc!😭 Didn't Ruby force Aqua to kiss her? And was generally very weird and harmful towards him? That would make sense Aqua sees her this idealized - isn't he a victim? But if the narrative goes along with this,, it's TERRIBLE.

If a thing that saves Ruby will be her pure, untainted 'light' and eyes made for love not lies,, it would be very silly indeed...

Just to add, I obviously don't know how the story will go but there haven't been many chapters left and I'll be very surprised if they acknowledged how imperfect Ruby is by the end.

You know after reading and reading and reading peoples theories and the meta from before the spn finale aired and the meta writers reactions to the finale I think I have a theory of my own. We don't have any answers tho, so this is pure speculation. If you wanna add something to support or discredit any of this that's cool but there's too many things floating around. Know I dont have proof for this conclusion at all. A lot of what I say is just guesses based on previous facts.

This all came together in my head when I realized how much this finale REEKS of the original producers and who the show was originally for. It REEKS of Robert Singer. Like if the execs started saying they didn't want it, Robert Singer was the one pushing that the story was about the brothers. That kinda thing.

Then, I was thinking of the problems in this episode and it struck me these are all of Supernatural biggest issues and to be honest all of it feels completely deliberate.

Take the sexism for example, Supernatural in it's later seasons largely out grew this, we have Jody, Rowena, Donna, Charlie, Mary, Claire (and even a wayward sisters pilot with MORE women/girls) all making regular appearances. They're mainly good characters and mostly aren't there to hurt our boys. Rowena, of course, is the one outlier being very about herself but it's clear she still cares for them, I mean its part of her development. But they're all real, with character flaws just like everyone else. (And we have Death too and she was POC 😭 THANK GOD)

Now look at the earlier half of Spn, we have Ellen and Jo, who's appearances were far in between. There's Bela in season 3, recurring for quite a bit (5 eps), but she is a character that is only there for herself, definitely not found family (unlike Ellen & Jo), and she's got more episodes in season 3 than Ellen and Jo in season 2 who aren't seen again til season 5. The "fans" send in hate mail after hate mail to try to get these characters off, and eventually they are. Then there's Ruby who's character stayed for a whole two seasons and was a largely recurring character. Why does she get to say so long? She's a plot device. She's supposed to be there to betray Sam. She has to stay (plus Jared obviously likes her). But she's not just a character the writers like writing about. Same with Lilith. Obviously not as recurring but still a plot device. Did they get hate mail tho? You can bet on it. Why? because tHeY'rE gOnNa PuSh ThE bOyS (Dean and Sam) aPaRt ThE sHoW iS aBoUt ThE bOyS oNlY. Without even thinking about the hate mail, just notice how large the difference is from how women are seen in the earlier seasons to the later seasons. Misha got tons of hate mail too for being a character that could split up the boys (probably only being allowed to say because he a man, thanks sexist producers and execs).

Only after Castiel was killed off and then Castiel fans successfully (thank you guys) got him back on the show did the hate mail largely simmer, which means female character's were allowed to stay! Which has lead us to a show with a good amount of female characters. But can you imagine having to kill characters off time and time again because people keep complaining that the show is "only about the boys." Fun times really.

So now we get to this final and we see sexism. But it wasn't just the plain old regular sexism you find in the earlier days of spn. Because now, there ARE women to talk about, talk to. But this episode was DESOLATE women wise, unless they were used for plot (which is also sexist!). Small scenes, they're barely there. Women gets her tongue cut out. Random women from s1 gets killed. Sam doesn't SPEAK of Eileen. Nothing. No mention of any female characters from the boys mouths unless they were from/in this episode itself. That's WIERD. I know we've all said it. But that goes beyond forgetting about characters. I mean its SAM'S GIRLFRIEND for Christ's sake. There is NO REASON they couldn't have said Eileen's name. Notice how Sam's wife is just... faceless. This is literally an age old sexist trope. Like... one of the things about bringing Mary back to life for s12+ is that it takes this trope... of basically a generic mother, and gives her life and feelings, whether you like them or not, they're real feelings. They said Mary isn't just a mom she's a person. Mary's existence in the later half of spn is to fix this kind of female tropes that fall upon her character, to not let these her stay a 2 dimensional character. They said we should know she's more than just the mom who tried to save her kid. Do that is the exact opposite of Sam getting a nameless, faceless wife. The sexism of the old spn wasn't just brought back, it was completely amplified. It wasn't just accidental or some exec "fixing" the story it was DELIBRATE. Whoever wrote that, didn't do ALL OF THAT by accident. Because an exec or a producer who doesn't see the flaws in old supernatural isn't going to write it that deliberately.

Let's bring it back to s10 when Charlie was killed (singer was mainly to blame). Dead in the bathtub, age old classic of burying ur gays. If you were here you know people never let Supernatural live that down. THEY KNOW what bury ur gays means. Hell, Robbie Thompson left because of Charlie's death and you think the writers don't know what it means? I mean both Bobo Berens (especially) and Steve Yockey's careers are centered around LGBT+ storytelling and you think they don't know? They know. They know.

And Dean wasn't just apart of the bury your gays trope, it is so far BEYOND that. Dean being killed on a rusty nail/screw, the tongues ripped out, things that seemed to be meant for other people. Jensen's acting in the last two episodes was giving us "DEAN RECIPROCATES" but no one ever actually saying it. I think it's clear that Dean was killed for being Bi. They didn't address it for a reason, they just silenced him. His narrative was supposed to be about letting him be HIM for the first time, to say what his feelings are instead of having them miscommunicated, and instead of doing that, they just silenced him. And the more we look at this scene the more horrific it gets. The more it's a complete slap in the face and it's supposed to be. Some guy who knows nothing about the LGBT can't write a scene this horrific.

Some guy who knows nothing about Dean couldn't write a scene that deconstructs all of Dean's character development and gives Dean his worst nightmare. I MEAN DEAN WANTED TO LIVE HIS LIFE! THEY DIDNT HIDE THAT JOB APPLICATION (or whatever job related thing that was) IN THERE FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES THEY WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST SITUATION. Dean isn't Barney from HIMYM. If you watched HIMYM then you'll know Barney went from being a stereotypical ladies man and treating women terribly to being in love with a women and treating her right and working hard for it. The last episode of HIMYM (why its so bad) Barney's character development is thrown out and he's back to being a stereotypical ladies man. You don't need to know Barney's character very much to do that.

To kill Dean during a hunt his father never finished, to not have anyone at his funeral, to have Dean die young like his life didn't matter. Those are Dean's worst fears and you'd only truly know that if you watched the gin episode in s3, where they are basically laid out for you. You HAVE to know Dean's character to tear him apart like this.

This episode took all the core elements of the show and did a complete 180° the name of the episode itself is "Carry on" and Dean and Sam very much did not carry on. Sam grieving his entire life so that he good get to heaven and see Dean again. Dean being ready to live his life, despite the enormous pitfalls and learning to love himself only to be killed. "Family don't end with blood." Um.... it did in that episode either literally with Dean's death or you know BECAUSE NONE OF THEIR FOUND FAMILY WAS THERE. Not Jack, Not Cas, Not Eileen, Not Donna, Not Charlie, Not Jody, Not Claire... on and on we go. No one was there, nobody was even mentioned. Dean's funeral, no one even called that we know of. It was just Sam and Dean. Sam and Dean. And Bobby. Don't forget Bobby. But yeah Sam and Dean.

That's what the show is about right, the brothers.

Except it's not anymore. It hasn't been for years.

Cas not being there was deafening but it brought us to a major point. Becky. Becky's telling us about the terrible ending.

And many of us are wondering why would they literally tell us this is the worst ending and then... make it the ending.

Now before we move on, it very apparent many of you think Dabb doesn't ship Deancas. And Dabb doesn't care about the characters.

Say what you will about any plot holes in his writing, the point he is VERY GOOD at writing the characters, and giving us good ones.

Why do we know Dabb ships Deancas? (ill say when its cowrote, other wise its not) cowrote ep 8.02 - purgatory "I prayed to you, Cas, every night" "Cas, Buddy, I need you." "I have a price on my head, and I've been trying to stay one step ahead of them, to – to keep them away from you." 8.08 Hunteri Heroici - Cas helps them hunt! 😊❤ Dean & Cas have a serious convo about why Cas doesn't want to see/go to heaven. 8.22 Dean's mad at Cas. Sam's explanation of why Dean should be easy on Cas: "It's Cas." Dean then points out how he'd knife anybody else if they did what Cas did. 9.10 - Cas comforts Dean when Dean can't take seeing Sam (Gadreel) being tortured anymore. Also tons of Cas. 9.20 (bloodlines) - Canonical couple parallel "I was there, where were you" 9.22 The angels make Cas choose between them and killing Dean and he "gave up an entire army for one guy" 10.09 Claire's reintroduction. Cas heavy ep. DeanCas date. 10.22 THE PRISONER - u know the ep where Dean beats the shit out of Cas but loves him enough to not kill him.

We COULD keep going but I think I've made my point. If Robert Singer is the guy that is like "the show is about Sam and Dean only" Andrew Dabb is the DeanCas shipper. And you could even say a Cas stan.

Notice! How in s13 for SEVEN episodes we have a story that revolves around Dean's grief about losing Cas. Notice! How often the stories in all these seasons have a focus on their relationship. THAT is Andrew Dabb. If it weren't for him doing that, we wouldn't be able to easily say after Dean's lack of a response to Cas' confession, that Dean reciprocates.

To me, when I was (binge) watching s12 for the first time, I thought damn this is really got a lot of DeanCas. So I went to look at who was in charge, who was writing. I saw Andrew Dabb, associated him with Deancas episodes, saw all the new writers, Bobo, and then I saw that Yockey is known for same sex stories and it clicked. Dabb assembled a team to give us Destiel. THAT WAS IN SEASON 12!!!!!!!!

The amount of people saying he's homophobic flabbergast me. Open your eyes! That isn't what's going on.

Imagine making a show and trying to right all the wrongs of Supernatural. Imagine trying to write the greatest love story ever told and you have the entire season planned out for it to end off beautifully, it may possibly be your greatest achievement when it's done and then boom. someone comes in and tells you you aren't allowed to make Dean bi or make destiel endgame, after he was most probably already given the go ahead.

Sure. You could imply he's bi or into cas still in a way. Still make nice-ish ending. just give everyone what the kinda want.

Or you could scrap the last season, nothing close to a canonical bisexual Dean Winchester or Deancas endgame in site. People can be done with it be happy with the show, continue to live their lives in ignorance as to how close they were to Canon destiel.

OR you can lead everyone to the very closest you can get them to what you were aiming for and then show everyone the ugly truth and reality. Light it all on fire. Burn the show to the ground in your wake. Try your darnedest to making these people's (the people saying no) pockets suffer. Show us, the audience, what happened. Show us what this show really is.

I've seen people talk about the ending being changed during covid but I dont think that happened. I think what happened was Dabb already had this season planned out before it even started. Obviously the details were wobbly but it was all lead up to this ending. Destiel endgame, Canon Bisexual Dean, whatever it was. They were ready to write the greatest love story ever told and then someone shut it down.

Imagine the pain that must have caused them to be told no when they already said yes. They must have been so excited to give this to us.

I think someone (some producers) told him what this show is "really" about. The brothers. Can you imagine, after being told no, some kinda bullshit like this is said to you: "Why aren't you bringing it back to the brothers, Andrew? that's what the shows about. What with all this homosexual stuff, you know the audience won't like that. Not really." Imagine the original producers pushing this kind of view on you. "You know when we started it was Sam and Dean. It should end with Sam and Dean." That kinda sounds like someone huh? huh.

So why give us a nice acceptable finale, when you can take every problem Supernatural's had either up front or behind the scenes and create a finale so incredibly bad that people don't want to watch it anymore.

Someone made a good point about how Sam was originally supposed to be the main focus (this isn't to put any hate on Sam or Jared). Dean and Sam are the main characters but Sam was supposed to be the focus and for Dean to have become the focus, must have annoyed the producers because... well here we are. They wouldn't listen to Jensen. The producers liked this ending. Jensen's opinion didn't matter to them.

In some ways, if this is really what happened, it can be seen as childish from Dabb. To hurt all of us like that. Yes, he's hurting the producers, the execs, the cw. But to hurt us? Yeah it stings.

But in other ways, if this is really what happened, this is Dabb showing us the muck and gunk under the shiny surface. The hate for Misha. The hidden hate for Jensen. The underlying sexism. The underlying homophobia. The people REALLY in charge don't care about us, they just want our money. He needed to open our eyes and free us, at least free the people that he was writing for. The people he sees that care about this show.

This is the ending the powers that be wanted and its a big fuck you for a reason. I dont think this is Dabb spitting in our faces for loving this show, I think this is him trying to get revenge for us.

But from here, you can see it how u want it. If this is really what happened, I'm not in charge of your emotions, if you wanna be mad be mad if you wanna be grateful be grateful. And you don't have to believe me either I said this is speculation.

Also, as for all of the rumors like there being shots to the confession scene that we didn't see, which Jensen himself implied, I think that might have been a last ditch effort to canonized DeanCas but obviously it was cut. Like the name change was pretty clear. As for Misha possibly having shot some stuff for 20 I dont know what to tell you. If it's true I dont know where the blame would lie.

I do think however, that if all this was the case, the writers were prepared to become villians here. I mean they told us the writers were villians with Chuck right? So. Who knows what went down so they could give us such a vile ending. It could've been the producers or the writers, who truly knows. I do think tho that people we "trust" did some pretty shitty things to push the narrative in certain directions so now one would see this as the actual ending that was coming.

So again do with my SPECULATION what you will. This was in no way meant to put Dabb on a pedestal or anything. Just meant to give a bit of perspective.

the youngest child of ted and elaine mccarrick, wes was a kid who is full of life. she’s the kind of kid who did things to make you smile, and it usually worked. she was warm and inviting, a little naive, but she had a strong support system.

Self-explanatory. I was either a fetus or non-existent when most of these came out, and B&W 2 and Platinum I just never got because I didn't realize they were a thing during my child era of life RIP

Also self-explanatory. These are just the ones where the box art didn't hit for me like the other one did lmao. I did play Alpha Sapphire and Sun tho because I could afford them and wanted the version exclusive pokemon and had no friends :,)

It's aight Tier

Let's Go, Eevee!: I think it's a cute game with cute mechanics, but it is a Mainline+Pokemon GO mix so it's not gonna be the best in the series. It achieves what it was going for, ya know? I also... still need to properly finish it so WHOOPS

Scarlet Tier

Pokemon Scarlet: So, here's the thing -> The discussion around this game is a mess. I am just one gamer with a decade-long hyperfixation; I am aware I'm biased. However, I think if Game Freak was allowed the time to properly work on a new Mainline title this would have been my favorite. I see so many people say Game Freak as a whole is at fault for stuff when they really aren't, it's the crunching the Devs are being forced into. I can see that the Devs tried their best under their stressed workload, like, the whole thing about Tikatons killing Corvoknights so the taxi bird needed to be different!! There was no need for them to do that or have that detail, they could have easily reused Corvoknight taxies and saved time on making models, but they wanted to make a new game with new experiences and changed it up anyway. This game could have easily been one-of-a-kind, but Game Freak just doesn't seem to understand that people are willing to wait a few years, and that will always be the most disappointing aspect to me :(

My "First" Game Tier

Weird flex but let me explain

Pokemon (Shining) Pearl: Gen 4 was my first genuine pokemon game, and since the remake is somewhat of a carbon copy I just put it here for prosperity. One thing I dislike about trying to play older games is just how freaken LONG save times are, so Shining Pearl is a big help in allowing me to experience the game that got me into the mess that is the pokemon series <3

Pokemon X: I like to think this was my first pokemon game that I could truly experience myself and not need my mom to help Google walkthroughs all the time. It is the Gen that kinda started dumbing down the gameplay to make it easier for kids, but eh, I was always the person that liked the characters/stories more, not the actual gameplay. I know, absolutely scandalous of me. Also, Mega Evolutions? BANGER IDEA and I hate that Game Freak's line of thought was "let's make new ideas sort of like Megas" instead of "let's make more Megas in the new games" >:[ (PS Fennekin best starter I don't make the rules)

Peak Gameplay Tier

Pokemon Moon: I considered Gen 7 my fave for a long time (not anymore which I will get into) because of how different everything was. No more HMs, the Trials were an awesome idea, the characters and stories SLAPPED. Plus, some of my favorite pokemon ever came out of this Gen, so yea. Game good

Pokemon Omega Ruby: X might be nostalgic for me but the Gen 3-makes are in all honesty better games. It had everything that made Gen 6 awesome and also a killer story along with it. It could also be that ORAS is fresher in my memory compared to X, but being able to ride on Latios; did you ever consider that?

BASED Tier

Pokemon Black: I did actually just start a new run-through of this game a few days ago (mainly in an attempt to get pokemon to eventually send to HOME before Bank closes, darn you nintendo for being dumb about ur old games), and maybe it's peer pressure, but Gen 5? Very good Gen :] Absolutely love the story and characters, the art is some of the best in terms of the era of 2D games, and I also have the faintest memory of experiencing euphoria at FINALLY. BEATING. GHETSIS. LORDT.

Pokemon Sword: LISTEN I completely understand why people rank this Gen so low, I get it, but trying to put this game lower just doesn't feel right personally. I love the Switch, so there could be some bias there in terms of this being the first Mainline game on the console, but it's also just because the characters/story hit my favorite tropes right dead center. Hop and Leon are still fucking incredible, also a lot of great pokemon that rank really high for me come frome here, and thanks to the anime I've come to appreciate the aesthetic that is dynamaxing and gigantimaxing. Plus the gym battle theme is the BIGGEST BOP OF ALL TIME. Always gets my adrenaline going like WOOOOOO

Legends Arceus: I always thought this game was amazing when I first played it, and when I recently went back to shiny hunt in it, I remembered even more why I like this game. It is such a fantastic direction to take the series in not only story but gameplay as well. Those boss fights were STELLAR. The Alpha Rapidash in the starting area was probably the first time a pokemon game made me feel genuine terror since like Gen 5. I sincerely hope Game Freak makes another Legends game and this wasn't a one-time thing. My hope is for either Raikou or Keldeo but the other ideas I've seen floating around aren't bad either ;)

Ultra. Tier

This is a product of me growing older if I'm to be real. When I first got Ultra Moon, I didn't really have too strong of feelings. I already was a big fan of Moon so my emotions piggybacked off of that. I like how the Trial bosses were different, Necrozma was pretty sick, but... really? Did this need to be an entirely new game? At full price? Why. Lusamine combining with the Ultra Beast was such a cool penultimate boss too, so while I like ultra Nebby and the location you fight it in as a concept, it's hard to beat a pokefied human, at least it was to teenage me (tho I still wish we could have fought her directly. That would have been even cooler lmao)

So, with that mess out of the way, I have to say that I am basic and Generation 8 is my favorite Gen over 7. Sword was such a fun title, the Pearl remake, while disappointing, is still a solid game plus I have nostalgia bias, and I don't need to repeat myself when it comes to Legends, do I? Gen 7 has what, games that would have been way better as DLCs and a Pokemon GO tie-in? In terms of main Mainline games, Moon is still in second place, but the surrounding games in the generation, unfortunately, made it switch spots with Sword :P

02. What is one of your character’s biggest insecurities? Are they able to hide it easily or can others easily exploit this weakness? 

kitty def has a lot of insecurities related to her mom, like for example when razul (an npc in kittys campaign for those unaware) was like “wow what a catch u got, finding someone who just relies on their mother” that bothered her SOOOO much. because shes been trying so hard to separate herself from her mom and prove she can live w/o her... so for someone then to go like “:) haha look at u, relying on ur mom” is enough to get under her skin

the razul situation ESPECIALLY bothered her because he was kinda right in that instance. she has leaned on her moms sin city connections a few times throughout the campaign, and honestly i dont even think she realizes she does it. so just being confronted with that was enough to get her bristling 

plus just living up to her Mom’s Legacy is another insecurity in general. like kittys mom is brilliant, strong, gorgeous, and like all these things and kitty wonders a lot about how she stacks up against her. especially when she fails, she often feels like “i bet mom could have gotten out of this” which makes her feel worse

kitty’s also pretty cagey about romance after having been abandoned by spice. she hasnt fully processed that yet but would definitely be wondering throughout the relationship if her partner would just ditch her. 

in regards to how easy it would be to exploit that weakness: hmm.... i guess it more depends on someone actually knowing, first of all? because kittys generally cagey w/ most people, the situation w/ the party is pretty unique. but once they knew? probably not that difficult tbh though shed definitely try her hardest to act like she wasnt bothered

21. What is one of your character’s biggest fears? How would they react when dealing with this fear? 

being abandoned is def one of them. being betrayed by ppl she cares about is another. courtesy of dia of course. thanks dia sdsdfsg kitty mostly deals w/ these fears by keeping an emotional distance from others and also trying to be one step ahead of ppl

in general i think like being in a situation where she feels like shes not in control is also something she fears. like a situation where she cant get by on her looks, talents, or magic ability would be really scary for her. again, just trying to be one step ahead of ppl is a way she tries to get around that but obvs doesnt always work, and ppl do get the better of her sometimes.

also dying. that’s a big one!

49. What is something that your character has nightmares about? Are these frequent? Do they heavily affect your character’s mood?

sdfsdgh i can definitely say that her adventures have given her a lot of nightmare material. almost dying for the first time rly shook her a lot so she had nightmares about that. and just general nightmares about some of the Big Bad Monsters they’ve fought, only the fight goes much worse and everyone dies, or they get jumped in the middle of the night, etc etc things like that definitely

the ruby situation also really got to her. for those not in the know: ruby was a girl that kitty worked w/ as a saloon girl. kitty looked out for all the girls, ruby included and ruby was murdered. kitty was also there when they found her body :( kitty feels a lot of guilt just about that whole situation and will have nightmares about it

finally, of course, shell have nightmares about her mother. kittys got a lot of issues w/ her mom!

u know when u try to do something fun most of the day but its so hot u just kinda are doing stuff half asleep and suddenly its almost midnight and all u remember is being pissed off at men, watching youtube videos, talking about ur hyperfixaion and how u ate two burgers made of curry, pineapple and coconut? cause that was my day. also went out to buy litter for Ruby. i got soda and a snack on the way. and i had soy burger for dinner. my mom is on a health nut mood. but we will be making cherry pie tomorrow so i can forgive it. also the burgers both the soy one and the curry ones were delicious so like u know. also mom bought lime pepsi which is also very good. why am i talking so much about food?

Hey I have a question about ur rewrite since I remember someone asking u about jaune. What’s gonna be ur take on Blake and Yang?

i think them being gfs is fine so im going with that angle but it mostly just suffers from the same flaws as literally every other relationship in that its under developed and feels non existent 90% of the time so we just need to do basic things like have them have actual conversations and care about each other like normal people do, platonically or otherwise 

it starts off pretty much the same during the beacon arc but with more interaction and relationship building between them (not just them or anything but its necessary if anyone on the team is going to start dating) but post beacon yang is like. genuinely mad but part of her arc is unlearning all the aggression her mother raised her on so once she reunites with weiss and ruby and like. cools off and they all reconcile by the time she meets up with blake again she mostly just feels bad she was ever mad at all. they have an actual fucking conversation about it and how yeah she was mad but she knows blake had good reasons for bailing and wasnt just abandoning her and blake apologizes bc even though the reasons were justified it did still end up hurting her. 

after this point theyre clear to start turning their relationship from platonic to romantic

in my version blake told everyone about adam in like volume 2 bc if they were going to continue perusing the wf he was a major threat to be wary of though at this point blake hasnt fully come to grips with how insane he actually is, come v6 and shes like yeah ok. so he tried to kill me, kidnap me and kill my mom so ya know! they end up killing adam together bc i think thats pretty kino but weiss and ruby get to help bc he actually goes after weiss first for being, ya know, the schnee and figuring blake “the big coward” would worry more about herself but guess what idiot its a shonen battle series and theyre gay.

putting adam down is something blake takes an entire volume to kinda work through but shes doing it like. internally so its more a background event that unfolds slowly, and while weiss and ruby try to help her its still mostly yang who helps her heal since she also did big murder. yang trying to help her basically devolves into them going on dates in everything but name and they realize this and go “ya know. maybe we could just keep doing this.” perhaps with a kiss just so everyone knows. this would be around the end of v7 comparitively. 

from this point its a little hard to gauge where i want it to go bc i have. no idea what plot points from future volumes im going to have to fucking take into account. especially after last fucking volume. ideally i do want more romantic gestures but ya know. looming apocalypse.

yes!! give her a baby to hold and they will be Held. she loves to play games with kids too she just likes to be outside having fun and kids arent judgmental and she appreciates that

she tries? she has a hard time focusing…she’ll be stuck reading the same thing over and over and never processing it. and she’ll practice maybe once but feel silly so she goes in kinda blind and then feels REALLY silly when she’s taking too long to answer the interview questions

What would it take for them to break up with someone? What would be the last straw?

man.. not keeping ur word rly frustrates her. like a big strain on her and mack’s relationship near the beginning was mack coming home much later than she said she would, or forgetting plans she made with pepper and pepper is left waiting. pepper would first be like “:/ ok shes running late thats fine..” then “:( okay dinner is cold now but maybe she got hung up somewhere” then just straight up “:’(( is she okay?? is she coming home at all?” and finally when mack gets home just “>:( nice to see you. im going to bed” because its like 2 am and pepper is exhausted. that mixed with some of pepper’s flaws made them almost break up but they worked it out. pepper just rly cannot stand flakiness/making her wait up when u promised to be somewhere at a certain time

HAHA….she has ptsd so she has a lot of recurring nightmares about her bike crash and the trauma that came with that. but she does have one fun recurring dream about mack :)) and sometimes one about flying

What they smell like:

yang smells faintly of motor oil - she’s always tinkering with her bike when she’s at her dad’s, and the smell has kind of permeated most of her clothes. she always smells like coffee in the morning, which ruby loves because she associates it with home, and she also smells like jasmine because of her conditioner, which blake loves because she also associates it with home now.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

yang sleeps sprawled on her back, sometimes with her head resting on one arm. she snores a little, but gets grumpy when people point it out to her… she runs hot so she only sleeps in like, the tiniest shorts and tank top, and always kicks off the sheets during the night. yang is pretty disciplined - she goes to bed before midnight on school nights, keeps a regular sleep schedule, is an early riser - one of her favorite things is watching the sun rise. also she has a hard time admitting it, but she secretly loves being held while she sleeps….

What music they enjoy:

she enjoys good old pop/dance tunes for dancing and exercising - she needs something with a good rhythm. when she’s in charge of the music for team training, weiss and blake are Suffering, cause its nothing but disco for five hours (ruby loves it….). 

yang also loves classic rock, especially for live music! she’s been to a few shows, and she really likes the vibe of a rock concert. oh and she takes after her dad, much to qrow’s despair, and actually kind of enjoys country rip… her and tai have been known to sing along to old country singers for entire road trips. qrow and ruby are still traumatized to this day, but the thought always makes blake laugh ;’)

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

nothing unusual. yang has a lot of hair, and cares about what she looks like, but she’s efficient - she used to have to make sure ruby was ready for school as well as herself, so she doesn’t usually waste time. she sometimes indulges in a long hot shower though, especially if she went on a very early morning run.

Their favorite thing to collect:

not sure yang is much of a collector. she has a stack of old biking magazines in her childhood bedroom in patch, but she stopped collecting those when she actually got her bike… she does however keep a shoebox filled with souvenirs from travels and various good times, and it’s strangely sentimental stuff: dried up flowers and old movie tickets and menus from restaurants, that kind of stuff. she has a few that remind her of summer, and a couple for things she did with ruby and tai. that’s where she keeps her picture of team rwby too.

yang doesn’t really strike me as the type to be religious, tbh. 

Favorite sport:

BOXING. she loves doing it AND watching it. she’s been boxing with tai since she was very young - i actually like to think that even when tai was deep into his depression after summer died, the one thing he never stopped doing was training yang. so she kinda cherish boxing because it reminds her of him, and not giving up.

but she also loooves the thrill of going to a boxing match - the crowd, the energy, and the display of skill… she loves it all.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):

sightseeing, 100%. listen, yang is a NERD and also the MOM FRIEND. which means she’s the person who buys a travel guide, makes a list of top monuments to see, has a MAP where she’s highlighted the sights where she HAS to take cool pictures… ruby’s embarrassed forever. blake is endeared against her will. weiss is impressed with this degree of organizational skills.

Favorite kind of weather:

sunny, dry and warm, but not too hot, with a breeze…. the ideal weather to ride her bike. 

A weird/obscure fear they have:

she doesnt like snakes. her dad’s house in patch is in the middle of the woods, so she’s used to seeing a lot of critters, but for some reason snakes really freak her out. 

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: 

the strength tester… every time she sees one, she HAS to try it out… and you know she’ll make a big show out of it, taking off her jacket, flexing and rolling her shoulders like this is Serious Business…. yang sweetie… and then she strikes the hammer down and gets the bell to ring and people around are usually like legit impressed. whereas her friends are groaning and rolling their eyes. weiss always grumbles about her semblance and cheating, but yang tunes her out. blake pretends she doesn’t know her, but she always blushes a little when yang starts flexing, so really, yang has no other choice but to keep doing it
