Romance: We Could Be So Good by Cat Sebastian (a sweet historical gay love story set in the world of newspapers pre-Stonewall)

Nerdy: Currently reading The Social Life of Books by Abigail Williams (the cultural history of reading out loud)

Fanfic: so many X Men first class stories (I watched that movie again and now I have Erik/Charles brainrot. I love it when actors ship their characters. I'm not usually superhero obsessed but I love this tragic romance) And Milex stories, always. Shout out to @pockybeagle for their new update! 😁

Last movie: Infinity Pool. Mia Goth forever! Give me all the vibes horror and vacation noir.

Last tv show: I binged all of Interview with the Vampire last month and have no regrets.

Sweet/spicy/savory: Savory, then spicy, then sweet

Relationship status: very happily married to my bff...we're like the kids from Moonrise Kingdom but old now and both bi. We're enjoying life without kids but with lots of found family.

Last thing i googled: Tarot card meanings. I got a music tarot deck when I visited the American Visionary Art Museum last weekend and none of the suit cards had art. So I assigned each 1-10 card a song. The Seven of Swords is now officially "Body Paint," for example. I think of tarot as a fun witch RPG where I sort out my feelings. If you're also a music person I highly recommend making your own personal song deck!

Current obsession: My little tarot project because I'm trying to ward off the dread that comes with living in the USA as a liberal queer person with less than 2 weeks until the election. 😬

Looking forward to: I'm going to Mexico over Christmas on vacation! Also, upcoming Rubblebucket, Destroyer, and Father John Misty shows in the spring.

new tradition: turn all my shows from the previous year into a tour poster 🫶🏻 whenever i move into a new place i’ll get these printed and framed but for now they live digital lives.
