The Pucca callout

Pucca aka bittcnneck is a user with a long history of racism, harassment, gulit tripping, lying, and other terrible things. They even RPed as and sexualized the real life Alexander Hamilton! I wish I was joking about that last part 😔. Recently they've been harassing and trying to throw another user under the bus despite Pucca's own history!

Pucca if you're reading this, talking about change can only do so much IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO PUT IN THE WORK! DO BETTER AND BE BETTER!

Sometimes I think about how I knew two(?) people in the dr who tumblr rpc in the mid 2010s who just. Collected bits and pieces of info of people being Vaguely Problematic for fun, on the off chance that they'd fuck up and they'd get to post it everywhere. And how I didn't realize this until like the third time one of them prodded me with questions about my writing on an archived blog from ~3 years prior as if that was a normal thing to grill someone about.

Anyways I definitely don't get horrifically anxious when engaging in fandom spaces nowadays. What are you talking about.

Just a reminder that @pseudolife uses IP trackers. Don't go on her blog, carrd, nada. Found out by pure accident, when I'd forgotten I had a tab open to their old carrd because I'm scatterbrained, and when I came back, I noticed it showed me hello with my location (my VPNs) next to it. I went back today, and apparently, I'm now "stalking," which is on the carrd. I don't want your stupid ass template; I'd originally been on there because I wanted to interact, had read you'd moved blogs, and just forgot to ever close out the tab, and when I'd reload my tabs open after powering down, it'd obviously reload the carrd too. That's a huge privacy violation and is beyond creepy. You don't collect peoples' info like that. Be careful what blogs, carrds, etc. you visit because there's predatory people who'll collect your information.

There's more info about this woman (another her equally fucked up friend or whatever) I found from this post, which has a link to a google site with a lot of disgusting info. Apparently, she's not above doxxing. Shit like this is why I barely fuck with the rpc community, and is why I ALWAYS use a VPN. That's not okay to do. There's no fucking reasons you'd need someone's IP other than to stalk/doxx them. Wish I had seen this info beforehand, but luckily, I take steps to ensure my safety and privacy, but others might not, so just be warned. It's real.

i’m not asking anyone to do anything or requesting this be done for me specifically, but i do want to just sort of encourage this among folks in the rpc willing to engage:

please just… when someone writes you a starter, replies to an ask you sent, replies even just to a thread you have going on, let them know you like it and appreciate it.

now, tumblr makes that easy for us. we can literally just “like” the post and let the person know we’ve a) seen it and b) approve in some way/shape/form. but for anyone who doesn’t get anxious doing so, actually approaching the person or leaving a lil comment on it really is such a sweet thing to do, imo.

in my experience, i’m always more engaged and eager to write with someone who shows they appreciate my writing and characterization. and you really don’t have to jump through hoops to show it. you don’t have to be someone’s best friend or therapist or any of that; even just being in a strictly “writing partners” relationship leaves room to tell your partner:

hey, that starter you wrote for me was perfect and i love it; tysm for writing it. i can’t believe your character just said that!! i’m screaming omg can’t wait to reply. your ask response killed me; i adore the way you write your character. and so on.

the point i’m trying to make is that i think everyone here deserves to be told they’re doing a great job. everyone here deserves to feel accomplished and wonderful for the time and effort they put into their muse. but i also think 99% of the people here don’t actually get to hear that as often as they should.

so if you have it in you, let your rp partners know you appreciate them, their character, their writing, their headcanons, any of it. because you do. otherwise you wouldn’t be writing with them—just go that one extra step of point-blank expressing it. <3

despite one very minor annoyance, i'm finishing off 2023 in the rpc in a pretty good place i gotta say

things have drastically changed from the years when i first began writing here ( probably around 2010 and beyond ) but not all of it is bad change. sure, the website is in shambles and all the old functions i was so familiar with are gone. the ease and comfort of old tumblr can only be found in xkit now, but... aside from that, i feel as though the website has actually significantly mellowed out from all those years ago. i mean i could sit here and list you off the horror stories from back then.... being irl stalked, being plagiarized, every day there'd be some kind of new senseless callout drowning out the actual predators, etc

i dunno things just feel.... different, and in a good way. i think every place has it's bad and it's good, but coming from someone who's been using this website now for almost 14 years, i can say that the good here far, FAR outweighs the negative by a significant amount. and now that i'm older with much more life experience under my belt, there's a lot less that affects me and i'm a lot less tolerant of the bullshit than what i used to put up with back then.

god i remember getting ridden with anxiety over the smallest of things, and now i'm like. if you've got a problem with me and you're too much of a coward to talk to me about it, then it just isn't my problem and i think that's a mindset that would benefit a lot of people tbh. you have to remember; you're not a mindreader and you can't solve any problems if someone isn't willing to bring it to you. it sounds a bit harsh BUT you are only one person and you can only do so much. communication is a two way street, and if someone isn't willing to make that first step, then why should you worry about it? it's not your problem, it's THEIR'S and it's their responsibility, not your own.

you can't fix something you aren't even aware of. and if there's one thing i've learned in the many, many years i've been on the internet, it's that if you want to keep healthy, long term friendships & relationships, you have to be willing and comfortable to voice your feelings with someone else as much as you have to be willing and comfortable enough to acknowledge when you've fucked up. to apologize and rectify that behaviour, and accept the consequences.

'cause if you can't, you're going to be stuck in a stasis for the rest of your life, and it's something i saw VERY RAMPANT back in the early days of the rpc on this site. people unwilling to communicate, and when they did, the other party unwilling to apologize or fix their behaviour. changing names, pronouns, aliases... the works. i'm sure it still happens, but i haven't observed much at all since being back other than having a dash full of very wonderful people. :> so thank you for making my dashboard such a lovely place, and thank you for letting me end 2023 in such a great spot ♥

As an example, there was a GIF set of Wang Herun that was ordered as PRIVATE and provided via a private link. As you can see, it is no longer private and can now be found on this PUBLIC link (its on her blog please I am lazy), despite being PAID for as a private GIF set.

I strongly advise against commissioning any GIFs from @flymarlo. Despite glowing recommendations from some friends, who suddenly post in her name to tell how awesome she is (she is not). She offers "private" and more expensive GIF packs, claiming exclusivity for these so she can make them more expensive, but then resells them without permission. Essentially, she's been reselling property that rightfully belongs to her customers, all while lying about it.

Chargebacks are already in order & she reported her for potential tax evasion through PayPal because this kind of deceit has no place in our community. She charges extra fees for supposedly exclusive content, only to turn around and sell the same GIFs to others. The private packs you purchase are supposed to be yours alone, yet she treats them as her own personal profit source. When confronted, she refuses to provide refunds or remove the GIFs from public access and instead resorts to blocking customers to avoid accountability.

Sybil insists on payment upfront for her work but spins false narratives to deflect blame when issues arise. Her excuses are implausible, and we're pursuing a refund through PayPal. This is a significant warning to anyone considering working with her. She even charges extra for "priority" commissions but fails to deliver on this promise, often using your private GIFs to promote her blog without permission.

She’s recently tried to cover her tracks by claiming that she had money stolen from her, but we can prove otherwise with our screenshots and transaction records and even screenshots she herself provided to us.

Our requests were simple: either make the GIFs private again or refund our money. Instead of resolving the situation, she blocked us, avoiding any responsibility.

I am an paypal employee. As an example, she sold four GIF sets to a friend through my PayPal account since who cares. She then provided a "private link" to these sets (screenshot above), which she resold to about 20 other people. After squeezing out as much profit as possible, she started distributing the content publicly to promote her subpar work. Now that people are calling her out, she's getting her friends to post positive things about her. However, no amount of positive posts can erase the fact that she is a scammer.

I've initiated a refund chargeback with PayPal and will share the outcome here to ensure everyone knows the truth about her fraudulent behavior. Do not trust @flymarlo. She is a lying, deceitful thief.

DO NOT COMMISSION SYBIL – SHE WILL RE-SELL YOUR THINGS.

Explanation and proof as requested:

To clarify the situation, there were multiple transactions involved:

4 Private GIF Packs bought in 2 transactions all paid and delivered: These were four fully paid gif packs commissioned, consisting of 4 gifpacks by Sybil. They were explicitly paid for under the condition that they remain private. (see proof above) The transaction was closed and done with, with payment upfront (which is fine but many do the mistake to send as friend and family and that is another thing I want to warn about) & they were also finished upon the delivery of 4 links to the 4 private GIF packs. However, these GIFs were re-sold and published publicly (see above) without consent, violating the agreement she herself puts on her blog.

Situation 2 happened: not at all related to the transactions which were arleady finished above, Sybil had already created gifs from an actor of a popular tv show. Someone asked if she would post them, and she replied that she would only do so if someone paid. The idea of it was discussed but not finalized to my understanding (I have the screenshot of that at home on my laptop). Sybil then proceeded to post these GIFs without waiting for payment, acting as if there was an agreement when there wasn't. Because as you can see in her guidelines, she only consideres a commission when it is paid for. As a result, she decided to publish these gifs publicly, without payment, on her own. However, she now used the private GIFs from Transaction One as a "punishment" for a transac to re-sellf and for promotional purposes, which goes against her own terms and conditions.

These were 3 totally different transactions not related to one another and one payment does not influence the other payment. Hencefore Sybill broke not only her own contract, but also law and guidelines of paypal, which she now was reported for and a chargeback was claimed. Mind you I do work indeed for Paypal and our chargeback teams are heavily overworked so they do take up to 6-8 weeks as normal chargebacks from banks would work.

Either way I am not fully aware of what was discussed with these gifs I only got one screenshot if sybill which I cant access right now (its on my pc) where she already posted & provided the gifs without prior payment. and that is NOT how she works. she always works with payment upfront so it was her own doing of providing these gifs publicly (it is an open source gifpack as much as I can see) but yet after she publicly shared those gifs of Harry.

SYBILL WAS GIVEN TWO REASONABLE OPTIONS: to refund or to private those gifs again. She refused. So the provided third option was excecuted and accordingly to our guidelines and law, have taken the appropriate steps by reporting the issue to PayPal and providing evidence which will fall back on her paypal record, as most of ther sales are probably done (I am very sure of that) as friends and family, paypal will get suspicious of the many in and outs and the very big family she has and our tax evasion office will look into it as well.

The outcome will depend on PayPal’s investigation and the documentation provided. Paypal will rule in our favour of course as that is law and community guidelines but many MANY people (and please people STOP doing that) pay for commissions or similar as friends & family as they are asked to, and these people, when scammed, sadly have no chance to receice said money back. So while I do not worry about our chargeback, I will take it upon me to a) let people know to NEVER pay commissions as friends & family and b) know about how Sybill works.

As it is (where I am from at least) illegal to share private converations with people, aside of the small snippet from above, without her permission, I am not allowed to spread such outside of court or bank cases. And I am not stupid lmao. (us citizens, gdpr and privacy is actually a thing and not a hoax I promise)

As a worker at paypal, and also as an legal analyst on top, let me remind you of 2 things, law & paypal user guidelines:

If the agreement specifies that the commissioned GIFs are for private use and should not be shared publicly, publishing them without consent constitutes a breach of contract. You could potentially claim damages for this breach.

Intellectual Property Rights:

Typically, the creator retains the copyright to their work unless explicitly transferred. However, the commissioner often has exclusive usage rights, especially if the work was paid for under the condition of exclusivity. Unauthorized public posting can infringe upon these usage rights.

Fraud and Misrepresentation:

If Sybil misrepresented the nature of the transaction (e.g., claiming the GIFs would be exclusive but then reselling them), this could potentially be considered fraudulent misrepresentation, giving you grounds to seek legal remedies.

PayPal Guidelines

Buyer Protection:

Service and Goods Transactions:

PayPal offers Buyer Protection for goods and services transactions, which means if you don't receive the item as described, or if there’s a significant misrepresentation, you may be eligible for a refund.

Since the GIFs were commissioned as private and exclusive, and if they were not delivered according to this description, you may file a dispute and escalate it to a claim.

Dispute Resolution:

PayPal allows for disputes to be filed within 180 days of the transaction. If unresolved, it can be escalated to a claim, where PayPal will review the evidence from both parties and make a decision.

The process may involve providing documentation, such as the original agreement, proof of payment, and evidence of the public posting of the private GIFs.

Digital Goods and Services:

While digital goods can sometimes be tricky to dispute, PayPal has policies in place for such transactions, especially when there’s a clear breach of the agreed terms.

Reporting Fraud:

If there’s suspicion of fraud, such as tax evasion or misrepresentation, users can report it to PayPal. PayPal may investigate accounts that appear to be violating their policies.

In this situation, the right steps have been taken by reporting the issue to PayPal and providing evidence to support the claim. The outcome will depend on PayPal’s investigation and the documentation provided. If PayPal rules in your favor, you may receive a refund. If not, you might need to consider legal action, especially if significant damages have occurred due to the breach of contract.

So back to human language, be happy I am at work or else I would not be in work brain - nevermind. Sybill had the option to handle this nicley, she decided to deny and block so now paypal will deal with it.

Further, none of this difficulty we have with you has anything to do with the fact your dog died, but the fact you were considering bringing another puppy into the home when there had been a case of parvo there, a virus that can live for years and is frankly impossible to completely disinfect in a home where there are multiple types of fabric. their timeline for. The concern and discomfort is entirely based upon potentially exposing a puppy -- a second puppy -- who is not yet vaccinated for parvo to a disease that could be fatal. If you want to publicize everything, that is some very vital context to leave out. No one has ever faulted you for grieving the loss of your dog and to say otherwise is a blatant lie.

I am going to try and make this as cut and dry as possible however my emotions are running high so if it comes across as if I'm angry it's because, well, I am.

I used to belong to a group called @wickedsrest-rp​ During my time in that group I made what I believed to be close friends. I shared with them during that time a few things in this order:

1. In august 2022 I shared that I had bought a sick puppy on craigslist. Within a week of owning her despite veterinarians best efforts she passed away due to parvo. 

2. In September 2022 I shared I was the proud owner of an American Bulldog puppy I named Hooch.

3. Hooch passed away in December in 2022 due to what we believe to have been genetic issues/defects. 

The problem began after my puppy Hooch had passed away. After sharing the news in the group chat I was contacted not even a week later by one of the mods in Wickeds Rest. They informed that I would need to begin censoring any posts to do with my pets in the group. Why? I came to find it was because my privacy was grossly violated by another member of the group.

This group member used my puppy’s name, Hooch, in a facebook group where members can make posts to ask veterinarian’s questions about the health of their animal. 

Months ago back at the end of August before bringing Hooch home, I had made a post in this group about bringing another puppy home after having one with parvo. I got an answer; it can live on surfaces for years after and could potentially be unsafe despite deep cleaning. I want to be candid about that.

I chose to continue with bringing home my American Bulldog pup Hooch anyways after purchasing hospital-grade cleaner with which to disinfect our house. We cleaned top to bottom more than once before he came home. Did we miss some parts? Probably. But we did everything we could think of and he'd already had is first two sets of vaccines so we chose to bring him home. It is important to note that he never became sick with parvo.

This is NOT a post that would have just stumbled across someone’s timeline as it was MONTHS old. My privacy was severely violated. Yes I had shared my real first name in the group before (I go by Bird online) but never my last name. 

Understandably I was upset as even after explaining my side as I was still being what I believe to be essentially attacked on the issue. My issue of having my privacy violated by a group member was less concerning with the mods than what I was choosing to do in my personal life. 

Eventually it became too much and I left the discord server. Emotions were raw and I was extremely upset. 

Not long after I left abruptly I reached back out to the mod who had brought up this issue with me. I agreed that I would spoiler/censor anything regarding my pets and asked to come back, as this group had been my support system. I was told no, as -several members were now uncomfortable with my presence-. 

What does this mean? This means that the member who intiitally violated my privacy did so again by sharing the information they learned on facebook wih other members of the group.

I happen to know this happened in private messages and not on the group server as I do still talk to a few people from the group who have advised me that this issue has never come up as a topi of discussion in the group discord. 

So I am banned from coming back based on private drama-spreading messages that were not even in the group discord. 

I was told they would consider letting me back in at re-launch and so I decided to reapply at re-launch in spite of what had happened because this is a group that I loved and wanted to try and be civil to become a part of again. On my application, I even referenced remembering the rule they had set up for me and agreed to follow it without question. I was denied re-entrance due to others still being uncomfortable with my presence. 

There are several issues I have with this

1. The member who spread my personal information around and invaded my privacy received no consequences. They are still an active part of the group and are clearly being protected. This does not strike me as odd as they are a member of the core group clique - one that I should mention met up OOC on a vacation. 

2. I had agreed to let these issues lay. This is a relaunch with new people coming in so I thought I would have a fair shot at a neutral rp experience. Instead it is essentially being confirmed that the clique is stil at large and that the feelings of a select few are more important than being fair and impartial. 

These people can say they are protecting my comfort as well, but they are not. It is propaganda to make them seem believable. Acceptable. As if they have done nothing wrong. It may come as a surprise that this has happened to other members of the group over various different issues. All ostracized and attacked because once this clique at the core of the group no longer likes you: that’s it. You’re done. 

So no. I am not lying. I have been attacked here. Whether or not the mods feel that is the case does not diminish my personal feelings in the matter. I feel attacked. Because my dog passed away and someone decided they should get to be more upset about it than I was. We can see the lies in the simple replies they did and it is not at all surprising that they chose to do a reply instead of reblog. It’s more difficult for me to respond to them directly that way. 

I sincerely hope people take notice and stay away from this extremely toxic environment. I thought I was friends with these people. Talked to them everyday for almost a year. Gamed with them multiple times a week. Hopefully no one else has to experience this.

As most of the mods and several members are not comfortable engaging with you after everything that went down before you left the server, we don’t think coming back is a good idea for anyone involved. Okay. I was hoping to avoid this as I didn’t actually do anything wrong.

I was attacked about the fact that my puppy had passed and was considering getting another pup to help grieve. Not even a full week after he had passed. I got understandably upset that someone had went through my personal information on a Facebook page and used and spread that information around to vilify me.

The ONLY thing that I did wrong was leave the server abruptly because I was understandably upset and feeling attacked. After which I apologized the next day because it had happened when my emotions were heightened. I was then denied coming back until relaunch so that things could cool down.

I plan on sharing what went down with everyone I can. What’s even more interesting was that after I left I had several people reach out to me who used to be in the group that had similar experiences with different topics.

Hello everyone ! I wanted to put out a quick statement regarding the unfortunate and complex issues that have been occurring in the RPC and on my dash the last several days. I want to start off by addressing anon hate and anon messaging. I do not respect it. That includes continuous dialogue on anon. I think it's better and healthier to communicate privately with people. But, I also want to express that while I have that belief and stand by it I now will no longer be responding to or allowing myself to get swept into drama or the histories of other peoples problems. That means not dictating or making opinions on how others stir up shit. I've decided to remove myself from it all completely.

Other people's histories and dramas are not mine to own. I have made careful choices with my blog and how I operate. And to be frank, there have been many instances now where comments, messages (anon or not), and the like have been misconstrued, purposely chopped up, and at times warped or taken completely out of context. I think when problems arise everyone is quick to emotion. I am also guilty of that. Having been on hiatus from the RPC for a couple of years and making a return only recently in the past few months, I've lost sight of my mission to steer clear of drama whether it be liking posts or adding comments to post.

It is no longer my place.

While I stand by my opinions and beliefs (and of course I am still open to private conversations on ideas because we all continue to grow), I will not stand for callout posts, witch-hunting, and vilifying. That's to all parties. That's to all participants. It's just not who I am. It's not what I agree with. I believe in communication and kindness and also taking a big whopping step back to look at the bigger picture. I recommend those that are hurt, emotional, or dealing with their emotions to take a huge step back and please think before we speak or type or message.

I apologize to anyone who has had to deal with the controversies going on. I know our dash's are full of negativity and it is only fueled by proxy by every like, comment, and every bit of participation that it receives. I know it's a lot. And that is another reason I will no longer participate in anyone else's wars because It's not my place. And it's unfair to a lot of my very kind and sensitive mutuals who come here just to have fun and to write about their characters.

So with all due respect, I will only be roleplaying here and investing in fun and friendly interactions. I will only be promoting positivity. And I will only be investing time with those who are interested in the same mission.

A call to action for the RPC

This is rather important so I hope you at the very least read what I have to say.

So first off let's not lie, this community is homed to some truly vile and disgusting people. And these people are grown as adults in their 20s, 30s, or even 40s. They are very real and very dangerous, especially to minors.

Now, I'm not saying go and protect and baby every minor you see. No. What I am saying? Be proactive and if you notice shitty behavior or other major red flags, don't stand on the sidelines. The bulk of this community is made up of adults so we have more power to stop these toxic creeps more than a minor would.

Again, I'm not asking everyone to play superman and thwart every suspect person, I'm saying to again, be proactive. A lot of minors are targeted and they don't have a voice so to speak. So we as adults can be their voice and can help them out.

Thus, THIS is why we make callouts. Callout are meant to make the community aware of someone who's truly a bad person.
