BttP: The Last Voyage [[Frey/Le**]]

All right Leif, don’t screw this up.

Leif patted himself down, making sure everything was in place. The head of the royal guard wouldn’t let him off so easily if he walked out looking like a slob today. After all, he was going on a very important escort mission. To protect the princess, as she traveled abroad to do... some sort of... diplomatic thing...

To be honest, Leif was a little fuzzy on the details. He’d been a little too excited about the idea of going abroad. It was a brand new experience! He’d get to see somewhere new! He wondered if the castles in other countries were like the castle here, or if they were different, somehow. He couldn’t wait to find out!

When trying to get the details from another guard later, he’d been told that the matter didn’t concern him. Fair enough- complicated royal matters were best left to the princess and her family. Leif was just here to act as extra manpower and a body shield. That sort of simple life suited him- he had no real complaints. Giving himself one more pat down, he left his room.  Immediately, he was greeted by a loud, booming voice.

“There you are!!” Leif would have jumped, had he not been somewhat expecting this. “Took you long enough! You’ve been holding up the entire departure!”

‘I’m definitely an hour early, though.’ He knew that to be true, be he wasn’t about to argue the point. It was never worth it. “Sorry,” he said. The captain seemed less than impressed.

“Come on, you- Let’s get going, before you make the Princess late.” With that, Leif followed his boss as they headed to Princess Frey’s room, to inform her that everyone was ready to depart.

Chapter One || Frey & Julia

While out for a casual stroll, Julia had given her dogs more lead on their leashes to give them space to run around; however, in a matter of minutes, they had made a nearby woman their next dog kisses victim. They approached her with tails that wagged at the speed of light, ready to lift them off the ground at any time, and started licking at her boots for her attention.

“Oh no! I’m sorry about them.”

Gently, she pulled back on them to give the woman space.

“They can be a little too friendly.���

Flower Festival

[🐎] — The busy days never ended. Even after her conversation with Kana, and her subsequent decision to make a little more time for herself to relax and spend time with the people that mattered to her, work at the ranch and shop was still far too demanding for her to comfortably take any time off.

So she doesn’t have time to go around delivering flowers to her friends this year, which is why she pays a City Hall courier to do it instead. With this, everyone would be able to get their gifts on time! But Georgia would keep the snapdragon to herself, for a more special occasion...

He had vague memories of having a small garden at their equally small home, but it was nothing compared to an actual farm. So instead, Dylas just offered to contribute through the only way he knew how — with strength and hard work.

Frey was small and didn’t seem like she can carry much of anything. Then again, she was half responsible for beating his monster-state, so he can’t fully underestimate her.

“Ooh, that’s a hard one.” Iris bit her lip, debating it. There were so many lovely scents out there, really. “I’m awfully fond of honeysuckle... and roses... and vanilla. And that particular scent that comes with old books.”

Over all else, Violet wants to be wanted. And she never wants to be hated. 

Those two desires shape how she acts around others. Violet will bend over backwards to help someone and be the kindest person in the world towards someone. And on the other side of the coin, Violet will try to hide the worst sides of her so nobody will have a reason to hate her. 

Helping people is natural to her. She is a healer and a nurse, after all. And it’s easy to see why in how she acts. Violet will help anyone in need, no matter the cost towards her own life. She is naturally kindhearted and wants to be the best towards others. 

And at the same time, Violet will be hard pressed to ever ask for the same kindness towards herself. Whenever a problem is presented to her, Violet’s first reaction is to try to hide it. To make sure nobody knows. To Violet...having problems and sharing those problems would be the same as placing a burden on them. And if she becomes too much of a burden on someone, she ultimately fears that she will be hated by them. So she just tries to bury it, even if it’s too much for one person to handle.

Primrose: What was your childhood like?

“Lonely.” She admits, recalling back when she was just a child. “I only had me, myself, and well-- the birds I guess. “Little Aurelia liked climbing on top of trees and gazing out far into the distance. She often would play on her little toy ocarina, with birds perched upon her head and shoulders and around her. Sometimes she would miss those days, where life seemed peaceful and filled with hope. Not that she lacked hope herself, it was just a different time.If the woman could, she would try to keep each and every child’s innocence in tact for as long as possible. Life sucks the further you went on. But then again, it is what you make of it. Currently, her life wasn’t so bad. And well, she was feeling like she was reliving her childhood already.

Ellen’s eyes darkened as she thought about the difficult question, a sad smile on her face as she pressed her hands together in front of her. A lot of people would probably have said something about a significant other, or an expensive item, but not Ellen.

.: ♫ — Generally, her cheerful demeanor stays consistent wherever she may go. Unwilling to show any more negative emotions, she prefers to bottle it all up, where it would be untouched and hidden away... Hopefully never to be seen again. Along with a heart on her sleeve, Sonja’s upbeat energy carries her throughout the day, whether it would be at work or at school, helping her to focus and do her best at work. Positively shining, that one. It’s a front she keeps up, in order for other people to not worry about her.

At home- where the pink-haired woman felt the most comfortable- she’s able to relax more. De-stress by cooking, petting the cats, gardening, or just singing. It’s the place where she can actually take a small break for once, even to let go of some of the bottles. A better practice than waiting until the break, that’s for sure. While she prefers not to do it when her housemate- her boyfriend- is home, his presence helps when she needs to talk about things to get off her chest... If that ever happened, at least. She’s working on it.
