Prince William of Wales met Catherine Middleton when they were both students at St. Andrew’s University. They began dating in 2003 and on November 16th, 2010, it was announced that they had gotten engaged the month before during a holiday in Kenya. 

The couple wed at Westminster Abbey on April 29th, 2011. Upon their marriage, they became The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They have been married for almost 7 years and they have two children, Prince George born in 2013 and Princess Charlotte born in 2015. The cackle that erupts out of her is enough to startle all the birds on the sill, their feathery retreat leaving little trinkets along perimeter. Staring down at the lad, she covers her mouth easily, eyes glowing with delight. It isn’t right to laugh at him, not if he’s truly upset, but his sentiment is all too familiar in her ears. Where has she heard such a monologue before?

Reaching out to lightly ruffle his hood with her whole hand, she edges the pot of sweets further from the counter on which he sat. Though he is far from spoiled – Hel wasn’t entirely sure that the word even existed within Lothric Kingdom’s borders – he has a certain air of authority that is too well developed for his age. If he so desired the cookies, he might well find another minion who will give in.

“Lorian wouldn’t want you to ruin your supper,” she coos, hoping that the elder prince would be the surest way to calm his brother. “Are you going to curse him too?”

The laughter rises fresh, smiling eyes narrowing further at the sound.

“Ah, I’m sorry, it’s just… You sounded just like your aunt when you said that. I’m sorry for laughing. It’s a very good curse. I bet if you said that to Gwyndolin next time you see her, she might let you have a cookie.”

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (Catherine Elizabeth "Kate"; née Middleton; born January 9th, 1982) is a member of the British royal family, fashion icon, and patron of sports, arts, and children's organizations. Her husband, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, is second in line to become king of the United Kingdom and 15 other Commonwealth realms, making Catherine a likely future queen consort.

In 2001, Middleton met Prince William while they were both students in residence at St Salvator's Hall at the University of St Andrews. The couple began dating in 2003, although their relationship remained unconfirmed. In April 2007, Prince William and Middleton split up. The couple decided to break up during a holiday in the Swiss resort of Zermatt. Newspapers speculated about the reasons for the split, although these reports relied on anonymous sources. Middleton and her family attended the Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium, where she and Prince William sat two rows apart. The Duchess was admitted to St Mary's Hospital in London in the early stages of labour on the morning of July 22, 2013 and gave birth to Prince George later that day. The Duchess's second pregnancy was announced on September 8, 2014. As with her first pregnancy, the Duchess suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum and was required to cancel official engagements. On May 2, 2015, the Duchess gave birth to Princess Charlotte. The Duchess's third pregnancy was announced on September 4th, 2017. What a perfectly prosperous way of viewing a gathering. Though Hel said nothing, her expression made her response quite clear. Starry-eyed as she watched the throngs of people move through the hall, she found her foot swaying to the rhythm of the band, one bone-white heel appearing and disappearing as her slipper slid and settled with every maneuver. Even the heat coming off of all of those bodies could not put her off her joy.

“Namor, my dear… I could not be any more enthralled if I tried.”

Taking another sip from her delicate crystal glass, she paused only to watch all the dancers assemble for another round. Smiling into her wine now, she sat a little straighter, sighing with joy. There really was no better way to pass an evening than people-watching, losing herself in the lives of others and the music that commanded them.
