What I love about Simon is how he's a play on the traditional 'strong man of the house' stereotype. He's a beautiful singer and (quite frankly) looks like angel. He's tough as nails. He likes wearing cartoon shirts. He's stoic as hell. He's an absolute nerd. He's a gamer. He has a big heart and he's determined. He's resourceful. He does extremely ill-advised things.

He's many things, and these traits express themselves differently depending on the situation he's in. For example, his kind heart means he treats others well, but it leaves him vulnerable to people walking all over him (and please don't get me started on how many times he forgave Wille in S3 I srsly cannot). In many ways, what I love about Young Royals is that it reminds us that people aren't good or bad, more products of where they've been and where they are now.

Also I just really like Simon's character lol
