how would ur ocs react if someone would give them a hug???

I’m assuming we’re talking about their listeners giving them a hug so here we go.

Emile: Ace?? Hugging them?? They be standing there awkwardly acting like they don’t know what a hug is. 100% going to be worried about them.

Rowan: Big hug, she is mom she’s best at the hugs 🥰

Beatrix: Picking them up, spinning them, lost’s are feet dangling like a cat being held up. Turns into goofy roughhousing.

Avyanna: Takes it as a threat and either flips majesty or is thinking of stabbing them.

Athena: Awkward pt2, does not know what to do. Might start crying.

Amanda: awkward pt2.5 (sort of awkward but does not know how to return physical affection) Returns it with a quick side hug and pats their shoulder

Sybil: Hugging chorus right back but is going to make them explain.

“The Devil Captain and The Emerald Witch”

Which doesn’t describe these angels at all

Rowan and her spouse/wife, Mariah, have earned a reputation over their lives. Rowan even has a few folktales about her that have spread around at least three major cities and a number of local villages. Mariah nicknamed “The Devil Captain” for her goat pupils commonly being attributed to the Goddess of Death, The Huntress. (Also nicknamed the devil)

Besides their lore, these two make me so happy. I’m in my ships phase for my ocs and fanart rn ☺️💛.

What flaws and negative traits do you ocs have??

I think I’ve done something similar to this before (found here) but I think it’d be good to revisit our main cast. I’m gonna go in terms of their insecurities bc we all got em.

Amanda: Her hands and a bit up her forearms are all scarred up from so much practice in the past

Athena: Her shoulders, her general build was a drastic change from her usual form, pre-turning into a vampire.

Drew: His voice, it’s very quiet and scratchy. He’d prefer to sound more clear cut and commanding

Avyanna: Her awkwardness, she’s blunt at times and misses a lot of social cues but that’s mainly (the tism)

Rowan: She worries she’s too overbearing, it has a long history of annoying people she loves but she truly does it out of love.

Emile: Their magic, in an offensive setting mostly.

Beatrix: Her hope, as silly as it sounds she often feels she’s a little too optimistic about things around her.

Rowan, a witch of the woods, absolute village goofy lady vibes :) (I’m still working her design out) 😅

Has an undefined type of magic, her series will probably end up being the palette cleanser of the majority of these characters, she’s married to Captain Octavius Blake, a silly pirate captain that delivers merchandise for Ellis.

Her listener will be a non romantic kind of route as I plan on her staying as a motherly, mentor figure to them, they earn the nickname Sunshine despite their own magic being blood magic- (I promise to explain the magics later)

This is gonna be a lot, this probably ended up taking my at least 3hrs total?

This is all of my character and I do mean ALL. (All I have designed or thought about yet) Good luck but you opened this can of worms my friend.

Highbrooke Manor:

Amanda:

S: A good teacher (which encompasses most of her strengths as a general term… good listener, observant, constructive, etc)

W: Nosy, and sometimes can’t put things down.

Athena:

S: Extremely observant, (you’re not sneaking anything past this woman), prudent.

W: Lacks subtlety, and holds grudges

Drew:

S: Not easily scared off, very loyal, can roll with all of the punches

W: Laurel…

Ms. Holloway (Laurel):

S: The Resident Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss

W: Abusive (absolute bastard we don’t like this one folks)

Jade Pistols:

Emile:

S: Smooth, a business person at heart

W: Afraid of their own magic, and would never use it on other people no matter how much they are in a situation where they should even for their own safety.

S: Impartial

W: Doesn’t meddle in mortal affairs like at all.

The Huntress:

S: Just, recognizes the importance of morality and ethics in mortals and doesn’t tolerate their bullshit

W: Unchecked Bloodlust (she’s the type to remind you don’t forget you will die.)

The Poet:

S: Easygoing and passionate

W: Petty (only with a very certain thing, don’t disrespect the dead)

The Elder:

S: Patience is unmatched, protective of her followers

W: A bit biased when it comes to choosing her followers over people who speak ill of her.

S: Good at lying, and fundamentally good but willing to do whatever they need to for their customers.

W: Has a savior complex

Rowan:

S: She is a powerful mage, specifically her type of magic is very versatile.

W: The past holds her back

Félix:

S: Absolute ball of energy

W: Fae cursed and chronic overthinker

Mariah:

S: Curious

W: a little too competitive

Kelta:

S: A trained hunter so she knows what she’s doing, and knows decent first aid.

W: Aggressive and her tendency to make rash decisions, a lot of internal biases (bc of how she was raised to hate vampires and magic users etc)

Beatrix:

S: Hella flexible and girlie has a prehensile tail (lamia shit)

W: She’s not good at words

Avyanna:

S: Strategic, and very empathetic and she’s a dragon shifter.

W: She’s a bit harsh about her criticism and she’s very elusive 💀

W: I wanna say Carol but tbh it’d probably be their tendency to be too patient.

Beau/Beaumont/Conservator/Cricket:

S: They don’t blindly follow beliefs they’re fed.

W: Forgets a filter…. Carol (although she’s a lot of people’s weaknesses at this point)

Eliza/Neighbor:

S: Intelligent, doesn’t let people walk on others or herself.

W:(kind of discussed in the story) but she gets too invested in her work life and it comes off as being cold to her friends and family.

Florence/Hays/Hayseed:

S: Easy to get along with and genuine with everyone they interact with.

W: They can come across as a bit rude sometimes even though they’re just being honest.
