Finally moving onto coloring in the FX and the center table for my reanimate shot for Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles “ The Clothes Don’t Make the Turtle” episode.

Tamsin Centric ROTTMNT Fan Episode Ideas! 🍊🍒

Episode Idea #1: The Twitch

The turtles are planning a surprise birthday party for April and have to keep in under wraps for nearly the entire day. They decide to tell Tamsin their little scheme, but instead of being totally thrilled, she's panicking.

Tamsin can't keep secrets well... AT ALL. It's not cause she's a bad liar, or her poker face is terrible, no... It's far worse. One of her eyes twitch rapidly, and only when she lies to April would catch in so quick if she found out. So the whole episode plays out with either herself trying to hide it from April or the guys helping her hide it. It all ends in sappy stuff of course, Tamsin can't take it anymore and the cats out of the bag- only to find out April knew all along since while the guys were trying to make Tamsin look fine- they forgot to hide their totally fibbing-selves.

But she's grateful for all the work and effort they did just for her, and she was still so happy about the surprise.

Episode Idea #2: Quite A Shell Shock

After a major incident when one of Tamsin's Co-workers forgets they their pet turtle at work due to having noone be able to pet-sit, Tamsin has to take care of it by bringing it back home to the owner.

It goes fine... From her perspective, but we see as an oozesquito lands on her without her knowledge, as she walks home perfectly fine and goes to bed.

We cut to the guys spending their day like normal, all lounging around, until something at the entrance catches their attention, harsh whispering for them to come over. The voice is only who they can recognize as Tamsin, looking at he clnfusedly as she wears quite the apparel of like twenty jackets and large sweatpants.

They think it's odd until she reveals what's happened to her - she's now a turtle! The guys are, of course, shocked, and the worst is they have no clue what to do as she begs to be changed back. But there I'd one person who knows... Barron Draxxum!

The whole plot of the episode takes place in the mystic city as Draxxum sends them their, saying it's the only place they'll find a mystic object for him to use and help her transform back into human.

The whole time, the guys show Tamsin how to use her new abilities and some of the cool things that come with being a turtle, making Tamsin start feeling unsure about a few things in herself.

Once they get this so-called articfact, they are ready to change her back, but Tamsin stops them. She says as much as she loves to be turned back, she can't help but feel like being a turtle should be a new life she should accept! Without it, she feels like she'd just be some other human again and maybe feel less a part of their family.

The guys are quick to tell her she could have been turned into a tiny little worm for all they cared. She'll be their best friend no matter what she looks like. They have a little group hug, all the sweet stuff, and head back to turn her into a human again.

Episode Idea #3: Oh, The Drama!

Tamsin is planning to perform a song for her Highschools talent show coming up and asks if the guys would be able to join April in watching her.

They of course agree- but once they realize they'll have to go under disguise the whole episode focuses on each of them trying to figure out/find the perfect disguises to hide all the turtle, while Tamsin goes on about how excited she is since her parents would be in town for the first time in a month just to see her sing!

After a whole goosechase and some sillies, they end up being able to find some disguises and are on their way to watch Tamsin!

What I didn't explain at the beginning of this is that Tamsin and Donnie were the ones mostly focused on in this episode. Donnie begins to feel just a tiny bit annoyed as Tamsin follows him around talking about her parents and how excited she was that they decided to come see her, and how proud they were going to be when they saw her. She constantly trails behind him, going on and on to a point where it's obvious Donnie wants to hear nothing about it anymore, but keeps his mouth shut, cause in his words when Raph asked what was up: "As long as it keeps me from hearing her practice singing, I'll take it."

So, as the talents show begins, Donnie's already just a bit miffed, it only worsens as April shows up a bit worried, explaining to the guys that Tamsin refuses to get on stage for some reason she won't call April about- but she's next in the performance.

All the brothers show their concern, of course, but are a bit surprised, especially Donnie when April asks him to go find her. He complains and asks why him- only to get sassed about how she likes him, and he's the only other person who could probably get her out of this weird funk.

He agrees (I'll admit a bit grumpy) and begins to search for her through the school, finding her backstage as the people before her finish up their act.

Donnie ignores the fact she's sitting on the ground, hiding her face in her knees curled up to her chest, arms tightly folded around them. He speaks a bit harshly about how it's quite uncouth that she's not preparing more for this moment. After all,'her parents would be soooo proud when they say her'

But before Donnie can rant anymore, Tamsin cuts him off, saying they weren't there. He blinks in alarm, asking to come again confusedly.

She doesn't say anything, only reaching to grab her phone and show it to him.

The screen lights up, and Donnie reads the text before him, his anger washing away instantly. Tamsins parents had completely bailed on the last second, leaving her with a simple 'Hey Hun! Sorry we won't make it to see you tonight for your little talent thing. You know how to work here in L.A. is, but me and your father are sure you'll do well! Kisses <3'

The text would have probably been fine. If Tamsin didn't say that was the seventh time she's seen that exact text in the past two months. Her hand curls back up as she goes on, saying how her she should've expected this to happen and to never get her hopes up for parents who completely forgot about her whole existence. Donnie has sat next to her on the ground at this point, listening to her.

There'd be a bit of silence before Donnie speaks up, causing Tamsin to peek her head from out of her arms. Donnie goes on to explain he doesn't really understand what she's going through due to always having his siblings and father there to support him in most of his stunts, but he does understand that desire to seek out parental praise, especially when you feel you deserve it for all your hard work.

As she fully reveals her face, relaxing to the same sitting pose he has, Donnie goes on, saying while her parents may not be here, her family is out in the audience right now, waiting to watch her totally steal this show.

So, with those words of encouragement, Tamsin reluctantly prepares to go on next, asking Donnie if he was going to join his family in the crowd, to which he says he won't be able to compete as her number one fan down there, so he's going to cheer from off backstage.

So Tamsin performs a song, it goes well, making her happier than ever, seeing the guys and April all cheering as she hurries back stage, seeing Donnie clapping with an amused smile.

Seeing the look on her face, he rolls his eyes, opening his arms to let her know, yes, she could hug him, which she quickly obliges, nearly knocking him down.
