Rotom is so funny because he’s a Silly Little Guy who can go through many different forms, and they’re all very charming with one of them being a Flying type with Levitate, but then he becomes a washing machine and since I have played the game competitively I hate that wet bastard

amethio is not one to judge, infact he's very supportive, because of his job he's seen many people with many different styles. he's seen many gyaru's before, so he definitely has common knowledge about why and how you guys do this style.

he'll try it, reluctantly and only once. you can put hair clips on him, and do his make up! he'll wash it off afterwards though, it's not that he doesn't like it, it's that he has a status to approve and the admins aren't really on friendly terms right now, sango would definitely love you if she found out you existed.

amethio likes to observe you doing your make up, he could watch you for hours and not get bored. and attentively too, he'd ask "what's that one for?" when curious what your make products do.

gives you random things at anytime cute key charms, hair clips, accessories, anything cute he's seen you look at before or bought. if you have pokemon yourself, he'll buy key chains of your pokemon to stick to your rotom phone. he'd use the reasoning "i saw this while on duty, and thought you'd like it" so sweet!

supportive, would volunteer to take your photos even if they look a little wonky... he's trying! he'll get better eventually and you'll have a portable camera director.

would jump everybody that gives you weird looks in his mind, judging is for ugly people.

when first meeting you silver did not judge or get weirded out, since its common around johto for girls to have this style. he found it pretty cool and charming.

please do geek out about your interests and things you'd want to do with your style, silver is interested and will definitely listen to your yapping spree.

tough to say, but silver would not try the style or would want anything to do with it. he doesn't hate it, but he's more comfortable wearing his own stuff. although if you give him something like a bracelet or hair tie he'll treasure it with his life.

he likes walking with you, and letting you go shopping! silver is technically a nepo baby so he has alot of money, and always volunteers to pay for you and your shenanigans. it's that whole scene you'd see a cute item and you ask him if he wants one. he'd go completely silent for a second thinking.

"hey silver, look at these silly phone cases!" you say, grabbing his attention. "a gengar phonecase?..." silver tilted his head, "no good?"

"If you want you can buy it, I don't really care." silver responds at you, as your pointing at the items. "but I wanna buy it for the both of us! we should get two, unless you don't like it?"

"no, no it's fine I don't really need one." he reassures, looking back at them and then your face second guessing what he said. right as you were gonna put the other one back to the rack, "you know what, I'll use it."

the sparkle in your eyes was so adorable, maybe he should give in once in a while...

silver wins the idgaf war, he'd use his phone in public with the phone case you bought! (with his money) even if gold asks him silver shrugs. "it's pretty cool." is his common response, another thing of winning idgaf war is that he's not afraid to approach somebody who was giving you weird stares.

Bored & hospitalized rn and ive been thinking a ton abt how underrated the entirety of gen 8 was

First off, the marketing and reveals were AMAZING. The nature cam for ponyta? I adored that. The scrambled up glitchy sirfetched was HYPE, and impidimp constantly teasing us in demos and small appearances without ever getting an official pre-release reveal was so fitting.

The designs in general of every single pokemon are so GOOD. Not only the original mons but also all the regionals were so charming and well spread out and arguably way better than alolan forms. Some of my favorite designs that never get talked about are Mr. Rime, galarian slowbro, and galarian darmanitan. Every new form and evo went into pokemon that ACTUALLY needed extra love and yet the community never talks abt em!!

Another thing i ADORE is all the small tiny features which imo should've stayed permanently! As much as i love the mobile PCs, the rotom PC with pokejobs and the loto feature was real cute and neat, the trainer cards and the amount of customization they had were SO GOOD and SO UNDERRATED!! The student cards or whatever in SV arent nearly as charming.

Also the region itself!! While yes it is LINEAR its still so gorgeous (aside feom the wild area) and, personally, id argue the DLCs did a way better job at an open world than SV did. The maps were pretty and every area was unique and had a use in the story unlike SV and its DLCs where half the map goes unused in the story or theres a ton of filler fields.

Anyway idc what anyone says alongside gen 3, gen 8 is my favorite to replay and go through. The dex is so diverse despite the natdex cut and while SV has better characters and story i still prefer SWSH and sll its unique charm

Alfred is renowned globally as the cheerful President of Astral Institute and strongest Elite Four member. From childhood, Alfred had secretly been participating in underground tournaments, honing his skills despite facing inexperienced opponents. He rose up the ranks quite quickly, setting record after record. Using his knowledge from Astral to good use, he knows exactly how to beat every type of Pokemon, and speed is his game. You can't harm what you can't touch, and he ends the battles in seconds with his fiery and electrifying team. He only does enough to knock them out, as he deems it barbaric to harm the Pokemon beyond what was necessary. He's an adventurous powerhouse trainer��after a childhood of being locked away, he was eager to explore everything there was to be explored. Alfred's impressive ascent through the ranks and genuine enthusiasm for battling captivated audiences, earning him a devoted fan base. He gained his own fans among the other competitors as well with his charm, as he made a habit of befriending his opponent before every match. He is currently Ivan's battle and traveling partner, and while they are certainly growing close, they are undoubtedly still opponents, and their rivalry can be very bitter at times. While Alfred doesn't specialize in a specific type, he favors electric, flying, and fire types with his energetic nature, desire for freedom, and fiery spirit. He has also never caught a Pokemon without helping or befriending them first, which is why his Pokemon had such fierce loyalty to him. 

Alfred was formerly the son of a renowned scientist, Samuel Jones. When on the verge of creating an extraordinary machine, the laboratory was attacked by a suspicious organization in Sinnoh, fearful that it would be their doom. Alfred's father died getting him to safety, and upon hearing the news of her husband's death, his mother fell into depression and disappeared. Alfred's brain conveniently erased the memory to protect him, and to his knowledge, he simply never had parents. Alfred's father worked in the Astral Institute, and knowing that he was the only survivor and witness of that night, Astral took him in and locked him away in their Headquarters on a remote island off Melemele. He was raised meticulously, treated as a fragile and helpless little thing to be protected and handled like glass. He wasn't allowed to make friends or leave the Headquarters, or even do anything remotely dangerous or interesting. Sick of feeling trapped, Alfred would regularly sneak out to join underground tournaments and battles. At the age of fifteen, he snuck out to join the Final Test, and after passing, the Astral Institute was bound by law to begrudgingly allow him to be a trainer.

Despite his confinement by Astral, Alfred harbors no resentment towards them. Instead, he channels his frustration into a fierce determination to prove his worth beyond being simply their "golden child." Yearning for freedom, he sets his sights on becoming Pokémon Champion, driven by a desire to showcase his abilities and assert his independence. For Alfred, achieving greatness is not only about personal ambition but also about reclaiming control over his own life. He could be the greatest if only they let him go. Alfred initially resented Ivan, feeling threatened by his strength as he believed it was nothing but natural talent, especially with his lack of ambition. He challenged Ivan to numerous battles to prove his own superiority but always lost, frustrating him. However, when Alfred learned of Ivan's motivations, he put aside his own pursuit of greatness to support him. He realizes the futility of seeking personal glory and shifts his focus to improving Astral, believing it to be a more meaningful endeavor that benefits everyone, Pokemon and humans alike. He had been the Pokemon Champion for a brief time before Ivan defeated him, but Alfred wasn't angry about it and had been happy that Ivan succeeded. While no longer the Champion, he was still one of the Elite Four and the President of the primary agency for anything Pokemon-related, so he still held in high regard and power.

Alfred's childhood revolved around technology, aiding Pokemon, and helping around the Astral Institute, resulting in his intelligence and dedication to Pokemon. Despite his knowledge, he struggles with social cues as his isolation has left him socially inept, unused to conversing with anyone but the Astral employees. In battle, he avoids using Rotom, Vulpix, and Wailmer, as the first two weren't for battle and Wailmer was fearful. Snorlax holds a special place in his heart, being his first Pokémon and caregiver in his infancy.

Note:

Astral Institute is a technological organization that handles the Pokemon Leagues, Gyms, Championships, Tournaments, and battles, like an agency for trainers to go on missions, take commissions, or study courses. It is not required for trainers to take missions and they are generally free to do as they please, but they are required to go through a Final Test before becoming a trainer.

The Final Test is the participants being placed in an enclosed captivity filled with violent Pokemon; if they survive, then they pass, and they receive Pokeballs that are unique to trainers.

I started playing Pokémon Ultra Sun for the first time a couple days ago (couldn’t find my Moon cartridge and was missing Gen 7 when I remembered I had US and never started playing it) and I’ve fallen in love with RotomDex.

I already loved the concept when I played through Moon, but with how much more you can talk to and interact with Rotom, they’ve become even more charming. I interact with them every chance I get, and I love answering their questions. I tap on them as soon as I notice their eyes get droopy, and it’s so damn adorable when Rotom gets all shy or playful in response.

(A thread made by your resident OG Pokemon fan. I did my best to give each of the lads a Mega evolution, an Eeveelution as well as a plausible starter Pokemon.)

Bojan - Fairy type ✨

Mischievous, ethereal and charming

Starter Pokémon: Chimchar/Infernape

Actual first Pokémon: Growlithe/Arcanine

He definitely has a couple of fire-types that allude to his sexiness.

Tinkaton, Diancie and Sylveon are little but fierce, just like him. DO NOT mess with them.

Arcanine and Ninetales are puppies!

Diancie suits him. A tiny diamond princess who’s a sight to behold and screams “look at me”? Absolutely a Bojan-coded Pokémon.

Kris - Psychic Type ⚜️

Elegant, intelligent and such a slay

Starter Pokémon: Fennekin/Delphox

Actual First Pokémon: Ralts/Gallade

C'MON GUYS, Gallade has cake. A huge cake. Looks very princely too. He’s a much better fit for Kris than Gardevoir!

Hatterene is SUCH a Kris-coded Pokémon. Tall, beautiful and they even share a default expression!

Milotic is a fitting, beautiful tallmon. Naturally such a beauty would suit Kris!

Kris mentioned that he prefers light over darkness, hence Psychic types in general and Espeon in particular.

Jan - Dark Type 💀

Mysterious, sexy and edgy

Starter Pokémon: Sprigatito/Meowscarada

Actual First Pokémon: Deino/Hydreigon

Houndoom has sexy incubus vibes. One cannot have an appropriate Jan team without a Pokémon that gives off incubus vibes.

Weavile and Umbreon are appropriate black cat coded Pokémon.

He's the only one with the patience to slowly raises a Deino all the way to Hydreigon. Even if the little Deino is clumsy and blind, and evolves so late, he perseveres (and thus also shows his soft side). Also, imagine little Jan and Deino with their matching hairstyles!

Jan mentioned that he prefers darkness over light, hence the Dark type in general and Umbreon in particular.

Jure - Electric Type ⚡️

Energetic, chaotic and playful

Starter Pokémon: Pikachu/Raichu

Actual First Pokémon: Shinx/Luxray

Rotom is a chaotic gremlin, of course Jure would have one! And he does switch between all its forms from time to time.

Luxray and Zeraora are big cats!

Ampharos may be cute...but it's a dragon and is capable of VERY dangerous things, so please do not piss it off.

Jolteon is SUCH a Jure coded Eeveelution. Chaotic? Swift as lightning? Charming in its own way? Yup.

Nace - Ground Type 🍂

Strong, steady and reliable

Starter Pokémon: Turtwig/Torterra

Actual First Pokémon: Teddiursa/Ursaluna

Of course Gengar makes it on his team. A Nace coded team is not a proper Nace coded team without Gengar!

Ursaluna is 100% a Nace Pokemon...FIGHT ME. Just look at it! A fierce looking bear that also looks like it could give nice hugs to its owner? Sounds just like Nace in Pokémon form.

He absolutely has the temperament to deal with a powerhouse like Garchomp.

Leafeon is nurturing, but also has immense strength for a small Pokémon - it’s strong enough to split trees. 100% the Nace-coded Eeveelution.

Martin - Steel Type ⚙️

Logical, dignified and protective

Starter Pokémon: Piplup/Empoleon

Actual First Pokémon: Porygon/Porygon-Z

Metagross is just as intelligent as Martin is, and despite being hell to catch, Martin managed to work out a strategy and caught it in a Beast Ball, no less!

Martin has a very kind heart, and this kind heart means that he would never abandon his very first Pokémon that he programmed, a Porygon that evolved into Porygon-Z, even when it starts acting quirky!

He's such a king, of course Pokemon such as Kingdra and Aegislash would suit him.

He has some Water-types to reflect his caring, levelheaded side. Vaporeon is the Eeveelution that suits him most, due to its qualities.
