Introducing to this jumbled up mess of a family: Lief! Hes actually already made his debut in a comic but he was easy to miss

Hes the stand in for Jades kid from @spjs fic Lost Opportunity which is so good ah, Jade is also their oc and I love her which is why shes here. I'm not gonna spoil anything more tho hehe

Well kind of. I have to explain the guy. I'll put it in the tags for those who wanna read the fic and figure out who Lief is standing in for lol.

Lief doesnt do much in the story up until the 3rd movies storyline, hes kind of just a fun silly guy in the background until then.

He's around the same age as Poppy, so they were in school together, he hangs out a lot with JD, but when JD isn't around he'll go bug Floyd or Branch. Floyd doesnt mind entertaining him but Branch has trouble since Lief is a massive klutz, so hes afraid he'll break something or hurt himself.

Happened upon this cool, apparently abandoned structure while out on deliveries and simply had to come back later with my infrared camera to take a few shots!

Taken with: Pixel 6 (first image); full-spectrum-modified Sony Alpha a5000 with a red 25A filter (second and third images) and an orange 21 filter (fourth image)

#the second and fourth images are composites because i only had my 50mm lens #so i was standing on this random residential street taking photo after photo while rotating my body incrementally #my computer nearly crashed making the photomerges #the largest of these files was 73 megs before i resized it!!#anyway #my photography #infrared photography #photography #oh i also brought my pentax k1000 and some expired kroger-branded film #so we will see how those images turned out once i finish the roll

Imagine an AU where Texas didn’t get away the night her family home burned.

Still too valuable to be killed, she does end up under the auspice of the Rossati’s, giving much more credence to their claims of being the heirs to the Texas family position upon being ordered to return to Siracusa.

Given their relationship Giovanna is tasked with keeping tabs on Texas at all times, effectively becoming the handler of her once close friend. Neither of them have the pull to sway the powers that be at this point, so Texas remains a prisoner in a gilded cage and Giovanna her reluctant jailer. They remain close in proximity but there’s always the distance of Giovanna’s duty and Texas’s trauma wedged between them like a shared albatross around the neck.

All of this backed and enforced by the institutional power of the famiglia and Lady Sicily.

Texas never gets away, never goes to Lungmen, never finds the friends and support of Penguin Logistics. Texas never gets the chance to heal and become a different person, just stays in the place that took everything from her with no choice but to keep working for institutions that let it happen.

Imagine what kind of emotionally stunted, caustic person that would turn Texas into.

All of that, is what happened to Mostima.

hello!! how did you start knife throwing as a hobby? as in do you watch tutorials or something?

I watched like 2 tutorials, bought some throwing knives, and started throwing them at shit. Tutorials only take you so far. Truth is you just have to start throwing until you figure it out.

#the main thing I learned from tutorials that I incorporated into my throwing is to account for the knife rotating in the air as you throw #so if you’re standing a certain distance you’ll throw from the blade to account for a half rotation and if you’re further away you throw #From the handle to account for a full rotation #And if you’re close enough to your target (5-6 feet away) you can throw from the handle and do a no spin throw
