This is how I imagine Fang Xiaobao a few years after canon.

*who is bisexual in the Japanese canon, which I know will be censored in the cdrama, but I have faith in ZSX that he will be able to make him very bi regardless.

OH MY GODS IT'S REAL?! SaiMono is a criminally underrated anime and I can still sing the OP song to this day.

Shuurei is also one of my fave anime heroines of all time! We love a woman in politics! We also love a canonically bisexual emperor, but I'm skeptical about how they're going to approach that. Ryuuki was known for two things: being lazy and loving men.

Are they going to touch on this at all or just completely get rid of that part of his character? Also who is going to play my fave villain: Sa Sakujun?

Kou Shuurei is probably one of the most accomplished heroine when it comes to her work experience. I miss it when Shoujo anime actually put effort in heroine's career.

A teacher who teach poor children in the temple > Has a side gig to play her erhu in different places as a musician > Works as accountant in the brothel in secret > Agree to became the Young Emperor Ryuuki's first consort (temporary) to persuade him in governing because the man is slacking off for 6 months after he became an emperor lol > Became a part timer in Imperial Palace's Department of Finance during summer > Passed the Saiunkoku's Civil Service exam and ranked 3rd as the first Saiunkoku's female official > Became a governor for Sa province with Eigetsu as their first actual job after they became official > Got demoted after she helped the province that suffered from epidemic without following the procedure Its a reckless move that might ruin her career but worth it > Became one of the scariest Censorate Official who investigate conspiracy and corruption > Became Emperor Ryuuki's well-respected and wise Empress (Yeah, being emperor's wife is probably a job to her lmao like lets be real. She's not madly in love with him but she do like him and a very goal oriented person so she probably take being an empress seriously and help Ryuuki in decision making after discussing the Saiunkoku's conflicts with her to get her opinion)
