Rosetta Japan tour 2016 with OVUM is over.

Rosetta との全4日間のツアーが無事に終了しまし��。 彼らのショウはとても熱く、音源には決して収録出来ないライブならではのものを感じさせてくれる素晴らしいものだった。 とにかく上手いし、安定しているし、色々なことを学ばせてもらった。 ステージを降りれば優しく気のいい奴らで、一緒にいて楽しかった。

OVUM も良い演奏が出来たと思う。 新曲も数回演奏したので、次のフルアルバムの雰囲気を感じてもらえたのではないかと思う。 大阪でのショウは、本番直前に僕のギターアンプが壊れてしまい悔しさが残るものとなってしまったが、出来る限りのことはやったし、新たに学ぶことが多かった。

ツアーにはやはり大きな苦労が伴うけれど、やって良かったと感じている。 各地でサポートしてくれた仲間達、応援してくれた方々、そして何より参加してくれたみんなに心から感謝します。 また、Tokyo Jupiter Records の Kimi さん、ドライバーを買って出てくれた Archaique Smile の高橋くん、撮影だけでなくドライバーとしてもサポートしてくれた世古氏、本当にありがとう！

Thank you Mike, Matt, Eric, Dave and BJ for coming to Japan. We had a great time with you guys. Hope to see you again!

Tokyo Jupiter Records と一緒にアメリカ・フィラデルフィアより Rosetta を招聘し、ジャパンツアーを行うことになりました。 全4公演を OVUM がサポートします。

彼らは所謂ポストメタルとカテゴライズされることが多いですが、アンビエント的、音響的なアプローチに特徴があり、彼ら独特の思慮深い音像に僕はシンパシーを感じています。

僕達 OVUM としてもこのツアーが2016年の活動の締めくくりとなります。久しぶりに名古屋と大阪に行くことができるのも楽しみですし、東京の2本は OVUM 企画として開催します。 チケットは10月10日より発売開始。それぞれのショウの詳細はまた後日発表します。 楽しみにしていてください。

2017年からはフルアルバムの制作に入りますが、その前にこういった機会を持つことが出来てとてもエキサイトしています。
