he develops the disease too. he sees your body doubled over in a frantic mess, tissues of blood and piles of flowers now scattered around your feet. and before he finally processes anything, he starts to feel a sharp pain in his own chest. one that felt like a million thorns growing within his lungs. he wasn't the one you loved after all. it was apparent now. and while the pain in your throat was caused by your love for someone else, his pain was caused by the lack of feelings you held for him. it was as if the world had blasted him with a sign that said, "congratulations, they're in pain because of their love for someone else, which isn't you, so you get to suffer as well!" even if you had found yourself healed from this sickness, the young man discovers that his ending is all the same. you did not love him. nor would you ever. so he continues hiding his own feelings for you if only to not burden you further.

Somebody go tell the very bright souls bringing up the clip of him saying "Megan became like the sun to me" (in Life in Pink) that he always described his significant other using the metaphor of the sun. It's all so frustrating to see, changing the past to fit their narrative.

1) He did call Hedi/Hedieh "his sunshine" when he captioned their first Instagram official picture, the deleted one of her in green between his legs with the caption Ain't No Sunshine When It's Gone.

2) He also called another ex of his, his angel of light and thanked her for always bringing the best out of him and being there in his darkest times (possibly his BM).

3) He also had literal sunflowers in Swing Life Away music video: he buys a bouquet from a homeless man to give sunflowers both to the actress playing girlfriend and the little girl on a bike.

4) the sun might also possibly remind him of an ex who allegedly loved Van Gogh. He both quoted the Starry Night in the 2013 interview with Evi Siskos for the Latin MundoFox TV Channel and generally referenced Van Gogh in Downfall High (when Fenix cuts his ear). Now that I think about it, even the Museum of Cleveland is very famous mainly for having real Van Gogh pieces (and also having Cupid and Pysche).

5) He also previously mentioned years ago the song My Only Sunshine, the song The One That Got Away (by Katy Perry, the music video ends with Johnny Cash rendition of My Only Sunshine) and only recently worked with Mod Sun to co-write his recent song where he sampled My Only Sunshine.

But yeah, let's ignore all of this and base the whole thing on Megan as if we have not been doing this for the past 4 years... as if when he said those words he did not know it was ending in a scripted documentary in the height of his relationship being so public. A documentary released few months after their (currenltly called off) engagement where everybody looked like they were required to say at least one nice thing about Megan (I love Rook, he really tried but couldn't hide his expression while... lying?).

Lastly, the rest of the song does not apply for her. So far she never showed she sees any good in him (she made him look like an abuser) and never seemed to grow flowers in the darkest part of him, quite the opposite.

I remember the whole "sun thing" going wild in blogs (I don't know if those sites still even exist) when he first posted Hedi using that caption. Boy, It's feels like mid-2010s all over again. Almost a decade passed, new fans came in but almost nothing changed, they still change and delete his past to fit their narrative :). So tired of this bs.

Honestly I wouldn't pay most of those fan pages any mind. They are just pandering to the masses so that if by the slight chance Kells views their page then he can see their undying "support." But I feel like the same way he sees support, he can also sense inauthenticity. If you've always liked her great, but don't fake it for some clicks and views. Because doesn't Kell's also hate fake love?

As for the song, even though I'm under the impression that Kell's does most things with a reason behind them. I genuinely think he only covered the song because he liked it. Maybe once upon a time he could relate it to someone special, but there are many songs that people like just to like. However I do appreciate the various different examples that you provided, because I think people tend to forget or just be plain ignorant about the fact that colson lived a life before Megan stepped on the scene.

Part 2! Part 3!

Almost a year ago I bought a label printer at Goodwill, and the next day in was thinking about Ace being a menace with one. So that's how this came up!

As usual, @rose-lord-of-simps pitched in. And I will be making it's additions purple! Like normal.

This is gonna be part 1, btw. It's longer than my Beauty and the Beast one.

I have little breaks of conversation, and because it's just spurt they're gonna be colored. Code! Ace, Deuce, Yuu/MC. These are the colors I'm using!

☆ This all started because Ace decided to steal a label printer from the staff lounge. And now he decided to create absolute chaos. He's doing a shitty, mini evil laugh because he doesn't wanna get caught yet.

☆ He gets Epel, Deuce and Yuu involved. Yuu starts it all off by writing "useless bird", prints it, and sticks it on Crowley's office door.

☆ Epel decides to types out "pretentious prick" and attempts, keyword attempts, to stick it on something of Vil's.

~ ♡ He was promptly caught by Rook. he'd let it slide if it said "beautiful pretentious prick"

~ ♡ He'd let the label/sticker slide if it was a compliment. A genuine compliment.

☆ Someone Yuu types "sad dragon" and tries to stick it on something of Malleus'

~ ♡ Sebek is appalled, Lilia thinks it's funny,Silver doesn't know what to think

~ ♡ Silver wouldn't know whether to laugh, rip it off, or hug Malleus

~ ♡ If Malleus had seen it, Silver does all three. A quick, surprised/confused laugh, quicking covering it up with an "Oh, oh no. Oh nooooo." silently chuckling as he peels it off and gives a pouting Malleus a side hug.

~ ♡ Half the reason he's giving Malleus a hug is because Lilia pulled him into it, the other is because he genuinely feels slightly bad about it.

~ ♡ Sebek is fumming, too angry on Malleus' behalf to get pulled in to the hug.

~ ♡ If Malleus isn't pouting after having seen it, Lilia would be the only one to hug him. If he didn't see it all together, Lilia still hugs him and Malleus is just confused as fuck.

~ ♡ Yuu apologizes if he's pouting about it on their night walk.

☆ Someone put "touch starved" on Azul's locker. His locker. And he, for the life of him, can't figure out who it fucking was.

~ ♡ Jade's good at lying, Floyd couldn't be bothered to figure out how the printer works, and the braincell trio are still scared of the octatrio. Yuu less so of Azul.

~ ♡ Spoiler alert! It was Jade! Yuu gave him the idea in passing.

☆ Someone put "sunshine" on Kalim's door and he's really happy about it.

☆ Ace wants to play Cupid.

~ ♡ If there's a couple that has really obvious chemistry, to him or to everyone, he's making a label saying "JUST KISS ___ ALREADY!" and sticking it to both parties things.

~ ♡ If he's doing it for Yuu and someone else, Ace is yelling at Yuu, and Yuu is yelling at him, all the while he's sticking labels on the other person's things.

"Ace, what does the other half of this say-""IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU TWO-" Or "Ace, what are you writing?" "Oh, it's ABOUT TIME Y'ALL FUCK!" "But you can't just write that and stick it on his DOOR!" "You gonna look at me and tell me I'm wrong?!" "..." "That's what I fuckin thought."

☆ Ace gets the silent treatment for a month, even if it works. Yuu is hella salty.

~ ♡ Deuce probably punches him once he hears about it.

☆ Ruggie tells them to put "lazy asshole" on Leona's door.

~ ♡ They do it. Kinda.

~ ♡ They write it and make Ruggie actually put it on his door.

☆ EVERY student in Scarabia wants them to put "Snake", or something mean on Jamil's door. Minus Kalim.

~ ♡ They're not still salty, nooooo! Where'd you get that idea? They totally got over the fact that Jamil made them stay at NRC during their winter break, putting them through hell in the desert, and trying to pawn it off as NRC's brightest boy's plan!

~ ♡ Real shit? Yuu is making bids. The highest offer gets to write/make the label and they'll stick it on one of Jamil's things.

~ ♡ If Kalim finds out about it, there's two options on what he's doing. He's either stopping the function normally, or he's becoming the highest bidder and leaving a compliment on Jamil's door.

~ ♡ No one can out bid him. Not a single one of his dorm members. And know Yuu is set for months.

~ ♡ Uses almost all of it to fix Ramshackle. And then bird brain finds out about it, cause of the repairs, and takes the money that wasn't used for "causing a commotion".

☆ If someone writes "cute" or "adorable" and sticks it on to one of Epel's things, Ace is getting beat up.

~ ♡ Absolutely does not matter if Ace is the one who made it or not, he's getting the blame.

~ ♡ Spoiler, it was Yuu and Deuce. It is undecided if Ace knows if it was them or not.

☆ Leona either bribed the trio, or just took the printer, and put "creep" or "stalker" on Rooks door.

~ ♡ If he bribed them, Rook shot an arrow through the label as a warning before the trio could even stick it on.

~ ♡ They all kinda fear him, so they didn't try again.

☆ Ace put "zero to a hundred" on Deuce.

~ ♡ Not on his door or anything. Just...on him. Right on his forehead.

~ ♡ Meanwhile, Yuu sticks "himbo" on him. And on Silver's locker.

☆ Someone put "mega gamer" on Idia's door? It's unclear who.

~ ♡ Man doesn't care one bit. If, when he leaves, and notices it, he just goes "HA! Yeah!". Even if the culprit meant it as an insult, he doesn't know, and doesn't care.

☆ Ace is mean enough to think about putting "robo-bitch" on Ortho's door.

~ ♡ Lives in fear of the brothers, mainly Ortho, so he doesn't go through with it.

☆ I'd like to think he's into obscure-ish music, and he decided to label everyone with either a song title or lyric and almost nobody gets it.

~ ♡ Ortho would, after searching, and Idia might have like a 25% chance of knowing wtf this man wrote.

~ ♡ Some of them he means as an insult...most he means as an insult.

~ ♡ Cater and Trey have knowledge of, mostly, obscure trivia, shit that would get them the question of "why would you know that". It indirectly gives Ace material to work with. It also makes him look it up.

☆ His favorite person to bully with the labels is Riddle, because he doesn't have any knowledge that Ace stole the label printer.

☆ Also sticks a bunch of random ass tiktok memes to everyone's door, locker, or bag.

~ ♡ He's on a weird, cursed side of tiktok. Very, very few people get the meme's. The ones that do either laugh or go "oh shiiiiiiiit".

~ ♡ It's usually on Riddle, and any student that has overblotted, so it's almost always the "oh shiiiiiiiit" reaction.

~ ♡ Idia gets tamer shit. Shit like "shut it", "Walmart Hades" and it's almost always on his door. A couple times he stuck it on his tablet, just so Ace knows Idia saw it.

☆ The only people to get any sort of nice, or nicer, nickname/label would be Deuce and Yuu.

~ ♡ Also, sidenote, he would give someone a fuckin My Little Pony nickname.

~ ♡ He had an mlp phase at six, and still listens to some of the songs.

Not the same anon, but in response to the previous anon about Rook setting the fancy pit trap, I must say this: Consider, if you will, that Rook did indeed set that trap, but specifically for the purpose of trapping MC & Leona together. Verbena (or Ver), my "main" Rook and a Shadow Dragon from Minrathous, I picture with a wavy shag of messy chestnut hair, warm autumn skin, and striking grey eyes that look almost colorless, as long as there's nothing for them to reflect. (I wanna call them her dagger-greys mostly, but there's so much room to play with reflections and metaphors and stuff with a color like that!!! and, with that darker border, it calls back to Ray's blues a bit, since they are sort of distantly related.) She'll have a longer nose (slightly hooked if I can get it in a way I like), a scattering of freckles, and a rounded cupid's bow but a somewhat more squared jaw- this face looks way more sculpted than what I'd like for her to have, but none of the others worked even this well. :/ I'd like her to look younger than she is- like she's supposed to be roughly 32, but looking at her, I kind of want people to not think her much older than 25. She's somewhat short, but wiry-strong, with toned limbs and a very straight spine. She'll be a sword and board warrior, as I usually go lol.

Tristan, my Fereldan Grey Warden, will, on the other hand, look older than he is: at ~40, he'll easily seem middle-aged (undeath and general warden-hood will do that for you). His eyes are somewhat vacant, smeared in tired purple, and a vaguely unsettling sort of brown that seems almost red if the light hits it just right. He's overall tall and broad (if carrying himself somewhat crooked), and I kind of want him to have some sort of body modification, maybe body tattoos (for battles he's been in, general reminders) or a number of discreet piercings, kind of to make his body feel more his. Might give him a facial tattoo too, just for fun. Probably a great weapon warrior, something long and heavy like a greatsword.

Coris, my Antivan Crow dwarfette, will get sort of unremarkable, but somewhat feline, playful-looking features, with upturned eyes, and lips that seem to be always smiling. I want her eyes to be so dark that they seem to be lacking a pupil, and I couldn't quite get the skintone right, but I want her to be sort of olive-skinned, with thick, dark hair she'll keep just long enough to pull back and out of her eyes. No visible tattoos or notable piercings (an assassin can't afford to stand out), but I really like that mole right under her right eye, I want to keep that if I can. She'll be agile, and pleasantly plump, with quite generous curves- probably an archer rogue.

and "Tanner", my Lord of Fortune dwarfette, will be an ex-Inquisition agent (probably from Orlais) who adopted back her old name assigned by Sister Nightingale for this (and will only reveal her actual first name to Harding once they're together ❤️❤️❤️ thinking something very Orlesian, like an Elise or a Jeanette or something) - I want her to have sort of the sunkissed, if slightly ruddy appearance of someone who spends a lot of time outside (or at sea), a fuller, friendly face, kind hazel eyes, and a mass of slightly coarse, dirty blonde hair. Her time adventuring (as well as spying) has likely left her with a few notable scars, but I'll want to figure those out once I'm there in the cc. (I may want her to have a pirate/sailor/adventurer type of stick and poke tattoo or two, something that looks wonky but has a lot of emotional significance to her.) She'll be kind of robust, and rather tall for a dwarf. I'm very undecided on the class yet, I kinda don't want to romance both rogues with other rogues, but the concepts just lend themselves well to being rogues.

Rook sighed audibly as he settled down near Damali, who maintained a frown on her face. "Let me guess, Mademoiselle Scarabée's little flirtatious game didn't go as smoothly as she had hoped?"

Damali withdrew her hands from her cheeks and sat upright. "I suppose it was similar for you and little miss Anneliese."

The day wasn't quite ordinary; both Rook and Damali attempted to make advances on Anneliese and Jamil, only to be met with annoyed expressions and rejections.

Yet Rook remained patient; after waiting for three years, he could afford to wait a little longer. "Oui, but, je sui aware Mademoiselle beau is just playing herself hard to get."

"Alright, sweetheart. Believe what you will. In the end, we both know they're quite annoyed with us," Damali chuckled softly.

Rook burst into a loud laugh, causing Damali to flinch at the sudden noise. "Mon ami, you overlook the story. Look closely, Don't vous notice how, they get quiet when there's no one else around?"

"Jamil is always quiet, sometimes I barely know if still in the same room as me."

"Will you tell moi that you've never seen how he looks at you?" Rook asked, making the blind girl blink in confusion. "Mademoiselle Scarabée, haven't you already told moi you can feel eyes on you?"

"Well, yes… But," Damali attempted to change the topic, but then sighed, giving in. "I don't need reminders of how he doesn't feel the same." The hunter pats Damali's back in a comforting way. But again... "But, oh, I just know he'll wake up one day, run to me and confess his love!"

And perhaps they sounded like fools when they insisted they wouldn't give up. But no one could fight against it; Rook and Damali had been drawn to the challenge from the very beginning, from the start.

Anneliese sat in the main hall of Pomefiore, quietly perusing a magazine featuring the esteemed house-wander. She skimmed through various articles, grateful that it drowned out the surrounding noise.

Until, she turns her head up to face a familiar hunter who greats her attention with a smile.

Anneliese gasps almost falling back with her book in hands.

“Mademoiselle Beau,” He smiles his face slightly closer st each word. “How are you?”

“What is it, Rook?”

“Well, what isn’t is the right question! You walked on ma vie, with cupid shooting in mon cœur.” He fix his posture with a deep sigh.

“Almost three years already, Hunt. Maybe is your cue to give up.” As Anneliese rises, preparing to depart, Rook reaches out, seizing her arm and drawing her back to him with a gentle yet firm grip. Their breaths mingle, noses almost touching, in a moment of intimate connection that holds her captivated.

“Je can’t give up, now. Mon amour, you are worth it all.” He softly said, his grip on her arm was gentle but still demanded her to stay there with him. “I’ve been in love from the start.”

Anneliese's gaze darted to his lips for a moment, but reality snapped her back. "You're delusional," she declared, pushing him aside as she exited the room, her heart racing, while he wore a smug smirk. He puts his hat back on.

He knew himself has been in love with Anneliese from the start.

Azul - a fic involving contractual fwb, slow-burn yandere, smut, fun banter, and too much flirting. like an abyssal amount. azul is down horrendous. it's actually really soft and tame because i wrote most of it with chase atlantic on shuffle. azul's an absolute dork throughout the entirety of the fic. also mr. azul 'just the tip' ashengrotto (make of that what you will). aside from that, you can expect another captive azul fic, which involves human!jade leech and rook hunt as researchers. rook plays cupid for azul. azul does not understand the meaning behind every love song rook plays at full volume, but wow does that spark something in him. meanwhile jade bonds with the other captive (reader) in azul's enclosure. >:D there's also a camboy!azul fic, which is considerably darker than all of my other azul fics and has azul playing femme fatale for the sake of a very unhealthy obsession.

Jade - dru chapter five!! he's a horrible man. </3 but omg can he cook a killer meal (pun very much intended). there's also a fic in which jade and floyd engage in some sibling rivalry over floyd's darling. jade leech finds he enjoys reflections a little too much, especially when his own is pressed against yours and displayed so perfectly in the mirror.

Love is a fickle emotion with many faces.

Of two lovers embracing each other, finding home in each other’s arms where they feel at ease. Or a parent tending to their newborn in the dead of night, dark circles under their eyes and spit-up staining their shirt from tending to them. Friends laughing together. Strangers showing others kindness in their actions. An artist perfecting their craft. People consoling each other. 

That is the beautiful face of love; gentle, true, benevolent, from a good place.

But there is another face to love, one that is more dark and twisted. Of love that turns to devotion. Love that turns to violence. Love that turns to death. Love that turns to soul-eating consumption. Of greedy love. Of empty love, where one loves the idea of something or someone yet not the actual object or person. Love when it is only beneficial to them.

Yet, is that really love?

Love is a fickle emotion with many faces, mirroring the very god of this domain. 

Many picture a cherub, a rotund toddler with small wings and a little bow and arrow in hand. Yet the actual god, sometimes called Eros or Cupid in popular folklore, is far from that. The actual god of love, in all its forms, is a man, not a child. The only thing they truly share in common being their wings — with the man’s being far much larger — and the bow and arrow. 

The god of love, the hunter of love. 

He seeks to find a love that will amuse him, but once it grows dull, he’ll snap the arrow, and watch it sputter out like a suffocating flame. And so the cycle continues; find two mortals, and watch them fall in and out of love. Ever removed from the situation, like he is a spectator of a play, watching the plot run its course.

Yet, what happens when the hunter, the spectator of this play, finds himself on the stage?

After many troubled nights from being chased around by ghost may I present to @sakuraemma31 their matchup for the tell me event!

Congratulations! Epel Felimer is your fated one! 

My, you are one very sweet person! I know Twisted Wonderland is a villain based game, but you just give me so much princess vibes I didn’t know what to do at the beginning. I actually went back and forth between characters a lot. At one point, I handed you several of the dorm leaders because you’re so sweet. However you ended up with Monsieur Cherry Apple! Don’t fret though, Epel is sure to treasure you at every turn he gets. Yet the journey there might take a long time. What I envision for the both of you is a slow burn romance where you two go from friends to lovers. The two of you would be oblivious along the way, but with the help of a very invested Rook Hunt he would be your cupid in this romance. 

How empathetic you were was a huge factor in having Epel as a lover. Seeing that Epel is someone who doesn’t go through your typical situations. This would allow the two of you the power to grow closer to one another. In addition to this was how you mention some of your troubles, I felt that Epel would be able to help you in this as he too, is empathetic. That weird side of yours is something special to both you and Epel as if you’re comfortable enough to be weird then he is too. What I mean is that Epel and you can both show your true self together without holding back.

Another idea that popped up into my mind is how you mentioned your lack of confidence. Epel was perfectly suited for this as he doesn’t hold back when he notices a problem. If there needs to be a talk he’ll say it without holding back. Yet, for some reason I don’t think I see the two of you seeing eye to eye on music taste. This is just a personal take, but I think Epel is a fan of rap music. 

On a more personal note though, you my sweet apple, are not a team coffee member. For you are a team strawberry member. You are a far cry from team coffee. What makes one a team coffee member is their inner problem. Whereas a team strawberry has an outside problem. I hope that makes sense. Plus, you just seem super cute like a team strawberry member!

It had all started because of a tea party.

It wasn’t a grand and magnificent party. Simply a small one, specifically one for six people. Even more specifically, it was a rare tea party hosted by the dorm leader himself and the attendees were his for aces and you. His darling little not-sister. The four were shocked to say the least. Riddle Rosehearts, the second year dorm leader with anger issues, had a sweet, sincere, adorably quiet best friend that he considered a little sister. What was even more shocking was how quickly you were able to calm him down after Ace jokingly gave you a wink. It was like watching a fluffy white rabbit taming an angry chihuahua.

When the tea party was over, Riddle had ordered the four to “clean up the mess” while he allowed you to go explore the rest of the dorm grounds (all while a certain Ace of hearts was whining about special treatment). After giving your not-brother and his friends a polite curtsy, you went straight to the place that intrigued you the most: the rose gardens.

The Heartslabyul dorms had an impressive rose garden that was properly cared for and perfectly grown. The beauty of the roses wasn’t the thing that attracted you in the first place. Rather, it was the mysterious hedge maze that winded away into oblivion, and you were determined to find the other side. Upon arriving at the entrance of the maze, you noticed a large black dog with it’s back towards you. Noticing your presence, the dog looked at you, back to the maze, and back at you before running in. You called out to it before chasing after it wondering where it came from.

After several twists and turns, you made it to the other side and into an apple orchard. You looked around trying to find the black dog. However it seemed to have just disappeared into the forest of apple trees. Sighing, you knew you had to head back, but you turned and slammed face first into someone’s chest. You would have fallen over too if it wasn’t for that someone to catch you and keep you steady. “My, my, I must apologize if I startled you miss,” a smooth voice said.

When you were able to get your bearing back, you tilted your head up to see the most beautiful man you have ever laid your eyes on. He let you stand on your own and you took a step back. He spoke up before you could, “Well, you’re a face I haven’t seen before! You must be new here. My name is Vil Schoenheit, and it is a pleasure to meet you.”

He gave a bow. “If I may ask, who are you?”

You gave your own curtsy to him, “My name is (y/n). And you’re right. I’m a new transfer here... um, what is this place exactly?”

Vil gave another charming smile, “This place is the apple orchard in the Pomefiore dorms. It seems like you’ve found the connecting area between the two houses.”

You wanted to ask more questions. A lot more, but you suddenly became aware of how late it was getting. Not wanting to worry Riddle about your disappearance, you both exchanged your good byes before you sprinted back out of the maze and into the familiar territory of the Heartslabyul.

Riddle was waiting at the front of the maze by the time you found your way out. “I had a feeling you were in there.”

“Sorry Rid, I was just-“ he shook his head, cutting you off from continuing.

“Don’t worry I’m not mad at you, I just came looking for you since break will be ending soon. Come on, we can walk back together.”

As the two of you walked, you looked back to the maze. Sitting patiently at the entrance was the black dog that lead you to the Pomefiore dorms. It seemed to smile as it happily wagged its tail. Riddle noticed your gaze and looked back at the hedge. Nothing was there but you continued to stare as if wanting to go back. “Hey, is everything okay?” He asked.

You looked at him and blinked. “Yeah I’m fine. I... I thought I left something there but I guess not.”

He raised his eyebrow. You smiled and shook your head, “Let’s just go back, you need to show me around the dorms right?”

“... yeah...”

You continued to walk side by side until you made it back to the dorm. While you walked into the giant castle to find your bedroom, Riddle went to find Trey. He needed someone to check the maze.

...

For the next couple of days, the you had fallen into a routine with Vil. Everyday you would sneak away after class with small hand made goodies – ranging from baked goods to flower crowns to trinkets – and meet Vil in the apple orchard. The both of you would spend time together and talk about anything.

Today you were sitting in his lap as he played and styled your hair. Next to you, was the basket of heart shaped baked treats you had baked in the morning. In all honesty, you would be lying to say you hadn’t developed feelings for the Pomefiore dorm leader. He was so gentle with you and treated you with so much care, and in all honesty, Vil was also falling for you as well. Those hours spent together soon became both your favorite past times. “Vil, can I tell you something?”

“You can tell me anything my sweet little apple.”

You blushed at the nickname. “Vil... Thank you for spending time with me.”

He hummed, “I should be saying that to you.”

You smiled as he finished with your hair and wrapped his arms around your waist. “You’re one of the only people that has looked passed my beauty. You actually cared to ask how my days are and made it an effort to see me everday.”

You leaned back into him enjoying the comfortable silence. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, “I better get going, Riddle will be worried.”

Vil laughed and helped you to your feet, “He must care about you a lot to be worrying this much.”

“Well, I am his ‘little sister’ after all.”

“Or so you say...”

You pouted as he pushed a stray hair behind your ear, “I’m only kidding. I’ll see you again tomorrow?”

You nodded in response. He walked you to the entrance of the maze where you traveled back to the dorms. Unknown to you that a couple of cards were watching your retreating figure.

“What do we do now?” Ace asked.

“We report it to Riddle,” Deuce replied, “he trusted us to find out where she goes everyday remember?”

“Yeah, but doesn’t she look happy with him?”

Deuce only stayed quiet and walked away leaving Ace standing there.

...

The next morning you were woken up by Riddle angrily yelling at you through the door of the bedroom. You were confused to see Riddle, Deuce, and a pretty guilty looking Ace on the other side. “Huh? Whas going on?”

“You’ve been sneaking off to see Vil?”

You froze on the spot. How did they... you looked between Ace and Deuce and groaned. “You were spying on me?”

“Yes I have because I’ve been wondering where you were whenever you disappeared. Tch, had I known you were seeing Vil I would have stopped you a lot sooner.”

You squint your eyes at him, “What do you even have against him Rid?”

“What I have against him is the fact that he’s particularly popular with the girls. I just don’t want you to be heart broken if you find out he’s leading you on.”

“He’s not leading me on.”

“And how can you say that so confidently?”

“How can you not trust me?”

“Listen (y/n), I’m only trying to protect you. Besides, a first year and a third year? Sis, do you know what people would think of you? I’m only trying to make you happy.”

You were getting frustrated and screamed out, “WELL MAYBE I’M HAPPIER WHEN I’M WITH HIM.”

You slammed the door in his face and he stood there stunned. You were always so sweet and nice. You never, if only rarely, raised your voice to yell. The look on your face is what shocked him the most. After all his years of knowing you, you had never looked so betrayed. It was at this moment, he knew he may have messed up. May have. Okay, he did a big mess up. He stood there and rubbed his temples. He hadn’t meant to make you upset (and more than likely cry), he was just trying to keep you from being heartbroken.

He sighed, “Ace, Deuce.”

The two first years looked at him. “We need to go shopping.”

...

Sam the mysterious shop keeper was more than just the go to guy for goods. He was also, surprisingly, a wonderful advice giver. He simply smiled when the three walked into his shop. “How may I help you gentlemen today? Wait, let me guess, is this about the little princess of Heartslabyul?”

Riddle deadpanned. Sam laughed, “I’ll take that as a yes.”

The shopkeeper pulled out a deck of tarot cards from under his counter. He gave it a good shuffle, making a spectacle that left Ace and Deuce awed. He fanned out the cards for Riddle to pick. “Pick three,” Sam said with a wink.

Riddle grabbed them and handed them back to Sam who put the thick deck away. He flipped each card over. The first one depicted the vice dorm leader of Pomefiore, Rook Hunt, with a black dog. The second depicted a heart with a tiara wrapped in thorns and roses to protect it. Upon closer look, the heart was bleeding. The third showed an apple tree with small apple blossoms in bloom. Sam explained, “The past, present, and future. It seems like the little princess first met Vil through Rook. Now it seems like she’s heart broken. Not because of Vil...”

Riddle furrowed his brows, “It’s because of me isn’t it.”

Sam only gave a nod, “based on what I see, she feels trapped. She knows you care, and she knows you protect her. Just a suggestion, and it’s up for you to take, but I believe you should let their love grow.”

He gestured to the third card with the apple blossoms which magically changed to grow ripe red apples. Sam picked up the card and handed it to Riddle who stared at it. The dorm leader abruptly turned around and began walking out. Sam quickly asked before he could leave, “Where are you going?”

Riddle stopped at the door. “I need to have a talk with Vil.”

...

Later that day, you were called into Sam’s shop only to find Riddle waiting (rather impatiently) with Sam. Your figure slumped a bit as you walked closer to them. “Am I in trouble?” You asked.

Sam gave a laugh, “Far from it! We called you here because you’re transferring dorms.”

You were shocked to say the least. Transferring dorms? Where would you go? You looked at Riddle for answers. “Riddle... where am I going?”

Before you could answer, the door of the shop opened. Vil had walked into the shop. “I apologize for being late.”

“You’re lucky my patience didn’t run out Schoenheit.” Riddle said glaring at him.

If you were confused you were even more confused now. Riddle sighed and began explaining the situation, “I had a talk with Vil and we came to an agreement. From this day forward you’ll be transferring to the Pomefiore dorms... so you don’t have to keep sneaking off dorm grounds to meet with him.”

You blushed from embarrassment at the last part, but you still hugged him and thanked him with all your heart. Sam had sorted everything out and gave you your new uniform for you to wear, and soon enough the three of you traveled to the Pomefiore dorms. Waiting at the entrance was a tall man with a bobbed haircut; next to him was an awfully familiar black dog. The three of you stopped so you could give your good byes. “Thank you Riddle. I promise I’ll visit you so you don’t miss me too much.”

“You had better,” he demanded, “and you better come over when I host tea parties. Or if I invite you over in general. If you don’t I’ll Trey or Cater to bring me your head.”

He turned to Vil, “You better remember our deal.”

The blonde replied with a smile, “Of course. I wouldn’t dream of breaking it.”

You and Riddle shared one last hug before walking you walked away hand in hand with Vil. As Riddle walked back to his own dorm, he took notice of the countless apple trees the bordered the dorm. All of them in full bloom, showcasing their beauty.

A hardworking young baker. He always working around the clock in the kitchen either making sweets or tea. Sometimes Brownie will help the poor boy on cleaning duty and ended up overworking himself.

Ruggie Bucchi

An interesting hyena? He likes to see this hyena almost in every part of the school. Like one time he goes to Library and Ruggie is in there. After that, he goes to Botanical Garden, and Ruggie will be there too. He pities Ruggie, especially with that lazy master of his. Leona.

He just didn't like what Ruggie will do for a living such as thieves. He remembers that one time Ruggie want to steal something precious from Black Tea only to be met with a gun in his head.

Jade Leech.

Brownie must admit that Jade and he are almost similar. With the way they dress and their job. The only way to put a difference between them is by the way they speak.

He is okay with Jade but not with Floyd. Whenever one of the twins is in facilities or near his master attendant, he will always put his guard up. Especially after that... Octavinelle accident. At first glance, he is okay. After that Scarabia accident and the way, Jamil controls his master attendant? Yeah... He will not take any chance to trust this guy ever again. Maybe later in the future but not now.

If he sees Jamil trying to get close to his master attendant, he will not try to hide that he is watching Jamil's movement. In the end, they glare at each other so much. But Brownie knows his limit too. If Master Attendant tell him to stop then he will... And put a watching job to someone else. Mainly Peking Duck or Whisky.

A very determined stalker. Like he has always been seen following one of the food souls. One time he followed Martini and it end up with an arrow flying everywhere.

Did Rook ever follow him around? Yes. He did. And did Brownie care? No. As long as he didn't try to stalk Master Attendant then Brownie didn't have a problem.

Plus Diasomnia dorm seems to respect him very well. Lilia is also a good listener and always has time to help Brownie with anything. Or maybe that just his way so Brownie will let his guard down?
