Rogueshipping (ronin x okino) for the ask game?

Rogue is one of those things where I wouldn't have considered it until I started seeing fanart, and while I'm personally a Scruff girlie all the way I can respect the potential and compelling dynamic to be had between Ronin and Okino. Chaotic neutral bounty hunter x lawful good samurai. I can see the vision. What I especially love is when this leads to middle-aged man polyamory and people start shipping Ronin, Okino, AND Dareth. Clutch is an optional addition but I think he works best as Ronin's bitter ex.

my overall crystalized pt2 thoughts

so uh. yeah. my opinion on the ninjago finale was... drumroll... it was ok.

i have a lot of issues with lloyd’s, garmadon’s, and harumi’s arcs. it should be pretty obvious what the problems are, but i will sum it up with some thoughts. why is sensei garmadon treated as if he didnt exist at all? he and lloyd had a fantastic bond. even the garmadon from s1-2 had a more compelling bond with lloyd, since the evil in his veins was only kept at bay for the love he had for his son, and lloyd knew and believed this. did lloyd just? forget everything about his dad up until s8????? the oni form arc went nowhere, and personally i think it should have been given more attention and been the solution with sacrifices. the dragon forms were a terrible solution and sure, they look cool, but they really should not have been written into this season at all. also, why is harumi suddenly good bro? why does she care about lloyd???? im... confused. and rip people who were excited for the ice emperor episode that must be a painful wound hgkjfkj

also did anyone else find the nya samurai x suit uh... ugly..? most people i see say it’s their favorite nya look and i do not see it at all. like, compared to the s4 samurai x suit too!!!!! that thing looked sick af and does not even compare

some things i like are that okino showed up and had a moment, ronin defended the ninja, fuji dove got his own sick mech and cried over pixane-- which had a lot of cute moments, i think pixane is very sweet and fantastic :) the kai and skylor stuff was very funny to me, same with some of lloyd’s reactions to harumi towards the beginning fghkkjghg. ALSO ZIPPY MY LOVE RETURN OF THE KING!!! the wu and paperboy stuff was incredibly heartwarming. racer 7- i mean, blazy was very very funny and good im happy with her having a moment. there were some other things i cant rlly take off the top of my head rn.

Ok so I had a dream about Season 16

In my dream the Ninjas were all in a temple made of stone it looked alot like the Oni temple from SoG. Cole was in a room with a person (probably Plumbar or Night’s oc Tal) and he was talking to them like Lloyd was talking to Akita, venting about everything that has been going on, while the person was like “Uh oh”, “thats rough buddy”, “why arent you guys concerned about your friend’s age”, “we are gonna die here” and they were in some kinda of trap that if they did any step wrongly they would die in lava or water. 

     In another room there was Lloyd and Kai, it was very dark but Kai made some light using fire as they walked to a dead end. That place had a big statue of Nya or Nyad, with a chest under it. They opened the chest and there was a Nyard in it. But they didnt had time as they hear some guards coming.

     Jay was running of a bunch of guards (it was probably the melorpians or the onis) he was really tired and he was in some kinda of Maze. He had 3 Stards with him and when he took a direction he found another one making it 4. The 4 Stards are fused in one Nyard. Jay looks sad to it, like if it was something important about Nya and that he didnt wanted to use. But as guards comes from all sides the Nyard is activated and teletransport him to another room, helping him escape.

  Note: Stards are some artifact in the shape of lightning, they glow yellow and probably burns or electrifies who touchs it (with the exception of the Master of Lightning). Four Stards fuses and transforms in Nyards which looks exactly like Stards but they are blue and there is some water floating arround it.

      Zane wasnt in it so I think he died in some room and I imagine Skylor was teamed with Zane.

     Pixal and others Ninja’s allies were helping rebuild the city. Benthomaar, Milton Dyer, Unagami, Nelson, Antonia etc were rescuing survivors. Okino, Ronin and some of the serpentines were stopping the Merlopians. Dareth used his bar as a way to help, either giving food/driks or a palce to the people who lsot their homes could live. The police force was trying to get the usual criminals like Ultra Violet. Pixal ad the Samurai X, some elemental masters, Serpentines and greckles were helping with the hard work, rebuilding the city. Ed, Edna, Maya, Ray etc were trying to calm down the people. Wu and Misako were trying to do Mystake’s healing tea for the ones who got hurt. Cltuch powers got problems with Nadakhan. Shintaro was helping with resources.

     I like to think that since the Ninjas went to a old temple thats was possible an Oni temple or atleast at the time were the FSM was alive, they asked for the help of Garmadon or Clouse (thats why Skylor was there as a extra help and Vania was there as a plan B)

Ok! So like, they just have so much interesting potential as a couple. Fave ship of all time, it feels so fun and poetic, it works with different types of fun dynamics like rivals/lovers or vigilante x criminal for example. My own headcanon though just has them meeting during the prime empire final, helping civilians get to safety before splitting off then officially being introduced to each other by the ninja a bit later. Mostly cuz in my rewrite Ronin has undergone more growth, but in show canon Ronin's never actually shied away from helping innocent bystanders during disaster so honestly still a pretty plausible way for them to meet. There's also just something so appealing about masterless samurai from 2 different worlds meeting and falling in love. Not to mention the antics that come out of someone new to the real world trying to romance someone who's been hardened by it. Like, Okino gets all his love and flirting advice from Kai and really cheesy romance films. The plot twist being: Ronins actually super into that, give that man a bouquet of roses with with little foam hearts in it and he'll be thinking about you for the next week. I can also imagine both he and Okino are pretty touch starved, having not come from particularly affectionate places. So when they do eventually become a couple they show a lot of physical affection. For example, Okino would do things like gently kissing the back of Ronins non mechanical hand to make sure he feels it.
