Alright so this is a project I've not really thought about in a while and won't continue anytime in the foreseeable future, but for those of you who were interested, here's the first and only chapter of my webcomic! 

It is a modern day adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, the story of two teenage girls falling in love and the tragic events that follow. I have my problems with the way I adapted it and have tweaks here and there that I would make, but this remains as it is! If you want to hear more about it you could probably send me asks and I'll try to respond:)

Remembered this little show today and how I shipped these two.

And I still find it funny that the show tried so hard to sell the male and female lead as the star-crossed lovers the whole show revolves around but at the same time had to name the best friend Julia! They could have given her literarily any other name except that one, but chose it anyway.

They literarily named these two Roman (Romeo) and Julia (Juliet)... like come on, where we really supposed to believe these two wouldn’t have been endgame in the long run?

Ooh—Erik isn’t the only one who uses both masculine and feminine terms for Sylv! Alice (Dave, I think he got named in the EN version) will call them both “danna” (a masculine term meaning “master,” “boss,” etc.; another sense is “husband”) and “Sylvia-neesan.” Ofc, I’ve only seen him use “danna” in text so far, while I’m pretty sure he’s used “Sylvia-neesan” in voice lines.

Actually, when he calls her nee-san, it’s spelled in kana, so at first I thought it might be because it’s being used in the respectful rather than the “sister” sense, since it’s spelled in kanji when Serena calls Veronica “onee-sama.” But then I remembered that when El gets called nii-san in the “young man” sense, kanji is used. So it may be because Sylv isn’t exactly a woman. And I don’t remember seeing “danna” used in this game before so idk how it usually gets spelled, but I’m wondering if it’s also spelled in kana here because Sylv isn’t exactly a man…

Sylv is referred to with both masculine and feminine terms (and not even just by separate people!) and they’re quite content to let Erik (who is a party member and a friend and whom they’d certainly correct if he used a wrong term) call them “ossan,” but yeah, the only valid interpretation for Sylv is that they’re a binary trans woman. *rolls eyes*

Jaune: Yep! I gotta set you down now! I'll go grab your chair! *He tosses her to his side. She seems unfazed by it*

S: We've decided that if we have a sparkling, it'd be joint-custody with some other bots.

W: Wind/blade n' Ch/romia would be our co-parents!

the water fire siblings dichotomy :) Romia has water powers and is younger than Harima who has fire powers, they have family issues(both in gen and connected to their powers) Romia's the more outspoken of the two, comes off bubbly, both of them have a temper, Harima's more of a realist, she's also pretty emphatetic in gen despite everything as far as the relationship with eachother is, there's tension between them due to paternal issues(romia recognizes the stuff their mother put harima through and understands her hatred for them due to that but won't really admit to herself she also went through the rough of it, she still seeks validation), they still get along and live in the same spacet, but things are starting to boil over
