Oh my GOD I am obsessed w @roguespodcast. I'm not really a fan of the "superhero genre," let alone DC specifically, but I still ended up binging the whole thing in like a week??? Help Me

I wanted to practice comic dialogue + expression, and this scene (on top of being one of my favorites from the whole show) felt like a great way to do that!! I really wanted to visualize the way Jon and Scarecrow's voices layer when he talks, plus trying to structure Ed's nervous babbling without a huge wall of text was fun. I've definitely gotta draw more -- this was just a quick and messy thing, but I wanna do something that does the stellar voicework justice

I never got to post it prior to my Florida trip, so here it is! My Halloween Jonathan Crane cosplay! I promise the name tag says ‘Jonathan’, I just have some trouble writing in tight cursive. I feel like Ms Terry's vibe is a mixture of Secrets in the Dark Riddler, Gotham and Rogues Podcast Riddler.

Like the flamboyant, flirtatiousness of Tr:sitd's Riddler, backstory stuff (used to be a forensic analyst, bullied etc) of Gotham's Riddler and the narcissism of Rogues Riddler.

Does that make sense? Idk

Uploading this image again but with an edit. As I drew this I was uncertain as to the deal between Jon and Scarecrow and I did not want to project too hard onto them, so I went the spooky route. TURNS OUT MY INSTICNTS WERE RIGHT and while the space I played in was fun, I did not want this piece in particular to be in that anymore. I am the host of a system though (with Jon as a cohost funnily enough) so I will come back to play in this space some other time, because it is fun
