ROCKTOBER Episode 4- The Horror Episode
A slightly different episode of Rocktober. Because Halloween is approaching rapidly, I thought it would be a good idea to have a look at some classic Rock tracks used in Horror Movies. Dokken – Dream Warriors-Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Motörhead – “Hellraiser from Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth Fastway – “Trick or Treat” (from Trick or Treat) Alice Cooper -Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason…

My scary movie tonight, ooky-extra-spooky 13th of Rocktober, was Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem. Man, what a surprise this was! I am a Rob Zombie fan so I was expecting some dumb, bloody fun, but Lords of Salem is actually a really intelligent movie. Full of film references from the beginning of filmmaking (A Trip to the Moon) through 1940s noir, all the way up to the late 20th century (The Exorcist, Rosemary’s Baby), it has a supporting cast to absolutely die for, featuring Bruce Davison, Judy Geeson, Patricia Quinn, Dee Wallace, and Maria Conchita Alonso, NO DIGITAL EFFECTS!!!--NONE--ZERO CGI !!!!, ingenious creature design, and a real sense of place and time. There’s a handsome dog named Troy and I admit I may have missed it, but I do not think he dies (check doesthedogdie.com to be sure).
Muse/wife Sheri Moon Zombie makes a giant leap forward in her acting chops, with a subtle, complicated, non-giggling (but very much bare-assed; if I had her as a muse/wife, I’d probably put her in improbable sleep positions with her undies halfway down her butt, too, so no harm/no foul on that), performance very different from the skeleton-licking hillbilly murderess from House of 1000 Corpses or the Manson-girl kill-crazy/hippie energy she played up in The Devil’s Rejects.
Salem’s witches are naked and blood-soaked, tangle-haired, growling--truly demonic. One criticism I have of Rob Zombie is that he is obsessed with the naked female body (mostly Sheri Moon Zombie’s, but not exclusively hers), using it as set decoration, enticement, and repellant, kind of indiscriminately, so I am a bit conflicted about it in this film. For the witches, it’s characterization; for the rest of the film, it’s merely decoration.
Gore runs up and down the walls of this one, but the final image is an absolute stunner set to The Velvet Underground & Nico’s “All Tomorrow’s Parties.” 10/10 do recommend; I had no idea a Rob Zombie movie could be so thoughtful, and not merely rock-n-roll killer camp.

Happy Rocktober 2018, everybody!
On the 13th, Brütal Legend will be 9 years old!
Now, this isn’t exactly like Inktober, because here the point is to make art in any way possible! Drawing, writing, creating memes, whatever you want! The point is to have fun and show appreciation for this great game!
Remember this is for fun! If you can’t do everyday, don’t stress yourself! There’s no need to play catch up if you don’t want to and there’s no harm in even doing this after Rocktober is over.
[This link leads to a typed version if you can’t read the picture well: link]
Have fun and be safe!

Day 275: Tuesday October 2, 2018 - “Rocktober”
A day after losing the tiebreaker game, the two wild cards met in Wrigley for an exciting 1-1 extra inning tied game that round out finally in the 13th inning with the Rockies winning. Havarti was excited for it - especially when I shared my purple ice cream with him, and let him wear the Chuck Nasty jersey - but even he had a hard time staying awake for the whole game. 5+ hours! Thats a beautiful baseball game. And the Rockies are in - though they’ll have a tough time later in the week with the Brewers....but thats October; Rocktober. Win and stay alive! Loved it.
Song: Oh The Larceny - Man On A MIssion
Quote: “Remember then that there is only one important time, and that time is now. The most important one is always the one you are with. And the most important thing is to do good for the one who is standing at your side. This is why we are here.” ― Jon J. Muth

Brutal Legend (2009) PS3/Xbox 360/PC Retrospective
youtube
Have you ever looked at a heavy metal album cover and wished that you could experience that world? Have you ever wished you could listen to it while fighting demons? Tim Schafer heard your wishes and he delivered them, and he threw Jack Black into the mix as well. The result was Brütal Legend, a heavy-metal-inspired action-adventure game with Real-Time-Strategy elements released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in October 2009.
This project couldn’t have come at a more opportune time, as both the film School of Rock and the massively popular Guitar Hero video game franchise helped bring heavy metal into the forefront of public consciousness. For a brief moment in the late 2000s, it was popular to be into bands your dad listened to. Like Guitar Hero, Brütal Legend’s soundtrack featured a varied mix of guitar-centric subgenres. Popular mainstream bands like Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, and Motorhead would be featured alongside more niche bands like Brocas Helm or Cradle of Filth. It would be hard to make a game about heavy metal music without licensing a few songs, but the wizards at Double Fine made sure all their bases were covered when they licensed over one hundred songs.
Eddie Riggs, played by Jack Black, is the world's greatest roadie for the world's worst band. An Incredibly skilled and well-organized manager, Eddie hides in the shadows putting together massive rock shows for screaming crowds. A chance encounter with a legendary fire god sends Eddie traveling to another world, one that resembles all of the best album covers. Hot rods, demons, and giant flying shrimp-leeches populate this rich, atmospheric world.
Discovering that humanity has been enslaved by demons, Eddie helps organize an army to start a revolution. Lars Halford is the leader of the resistance, with his sister Lita and their friend Ophelia as the only other members. With Eddie managing the resistance, they’re able to recruit fighters with different skills and abilities to join their army. Emperor Doviculus, voiced by Tim Curry, rules over the world with a sick, leathery fist, while General Lionwhyte serves under him as manager of the human race.
There’s an interesting story of liberation that’s obvious and subtle at the same time. While the plot isn’t hiding the fact that it’s about an underdog rebellion fighting for freedom against tyrannical oppressors, it's presented in a way that ties it more to real-life struggles for liberation than the usual revolutions in pop culture which are vague about their beliefs. The first group Eddie helps liberate are the Headbangers, meaty-necked boys who bang their heads all day to mine for resources as slaves under General Lionwhyte.
The hierarchy is similar to that of any modern job, with the workers carrying out all of the labor, managers ensuring that the workers do their job or face consequences, and General Lionwhyte as the faceless owner who stands to benefit from the unpaid labor of the Headbangers while contributing nothing himself. Doviculus purposely set up a hierarchical system that would keep the humans bickering among themselves, fighting over the meager scraps they’re allowed, while the demons are safe to rule over them. During the Headbanger revolution, one of the characters mentions the workers forming a union to a Bouncer, who becomes angry at the idea. The game isn’t making any profound political statements, but little touches like this bring the fantasy world closer to our own.
Many of the characters Eddie meets along his journey are based on and voiced by real musicians. The flamboyant General Lionwhyte, a parody of 80’s hair metal bands, is voiced by Rob Halford of Judas Priest. Halford also voices The Baron, an ally who appears later in the game and more closely resembles Halford’s real persona than Lionwhyte. Lemmy Kilmister from Motorhead voices the Kill Master, a motorcycle-riding bass player who’s able to revive fallen allies. Ozzy Osbourne takes on the role of the game’s shopkeeper as the Guardian of Metal. Possibly the most over-the-top character, the Guardian sells Eddie upgrades while making sassy comments and elaborating on the world of Brütal Legend. Other cameos include Richard Horvitz, who starred in Schafer’s previous game Psychonauts, and Kyle Gass, Jack Black’s partner in the band Tenacious D.
During the marketing campaign leading up to Brütal Legend's release, Electronic Arts made a point to downplay the game's Real-Time-Strategy elements. Instead, the game was presented as more of a straightforward hack-and-slash/action-adventure game. While a lot of the game’s campaign features Eddie going on missions and completing objectives, these missions serve to prepare the player for the game’s battle maps. Each mission introduces a new move Eddie can use or a new ally Eddie can team up with. The objective of these missions involves using the newly introduced move or ally to solve a problem and advance the story.
Eddie carries two weapons at all times: his Battle Axe which acts as a melee weapon for close-range attacks and his guitar Clementine which can summon lightning from a distance. Also at Eddie’s disposal is The Deuce, a hot-rod he assembles himself at the beginning of the game that can be upgraded in the Motor Forge. In between story missions, Eddie can explore and help people with their problems while also uncovering secrets of the world, learning how he fits into it, and finding the reason why he was brought there. Various relics offer guitar tabs, which teach Eddie new moves he can use with his guitar. These moves open up a short Guitar Hero-inspired mini-game where the player taps the controller buttons in rhythm to perform a guitar solo.
The battle maps feature two stages, one for each opposing faction, and several resource geysers that can be claimed by either side. These geysers provide resources that help supply your army with the soldiers and weaponry necessary to win, so most battles boil down to claiming as many geysers as you can while sending troops to the enemy stage. Later battles add obstacles that require strategic thinking, or enemies will come from multiple areas, forcing you to divide your troops.
Director Tim Schafer has said that the game was always supposed to be a Real-Time-Strategy game, inspired by the 1990 Sega Genesis game Herzog Zwei. As development proceeded, Schafer found that the action elements were a lot of fun and decided to shift the game’s focus towards that, while still retaining the RTS battles. It’s likely the developers hoped a strong online community would form around the game’s multiplayer mode, which could justify the story mode feeling like an advanced tutorial. Double Fine released two packs of downloadable content which were meant to expand the game’s multiplayer mode with new maps. Had the game been more successful, there might have been more DLC in the works.
It wouldn’t be right to talk about Brütal Legend without mentioning the game’s music. The game features 107 licensed songs from metal bands across the globe, including genres such as black metal, power metal, classic heavy metal, symphonic death metal, hard rock, and industrial. Bands like Black Sabbath, Quiet Riot, Judas Priest, Mastodon, Cradle of Filth, Slayer, and more fill the soundtrack with an authentic sound that would make any metal fan happy. Licensed songs pop in at perfect needle drop moments, such as Brocas Helm’s Cry of the Banshee playing during the boss battle with the Metal Queen.
The game also boasts a robust score composed by Peter McConnell featuring a full orchestra and a heavy metal band to seamlessly blend with the licensed music. McConnell previously collaborated with Tim Schafer on the soundtracks for Grim Fandango and Psychonauts. Judas Priest guitarists Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing provided the guitar solos played by the characters in the game. To promote the game, a DLC music pack was released for the game Rock Band, which was also published by EA, featuring Motorhead, Tenacious D, and Testament.
Despite a massive marketing campaign involving the game’s star Jack Black centered on a “Rocktober 13th” release date, Brütal Legend was not a massive success for Electronic Arts. The game had only sold a quarter of a million copies across both Xbox 360 and PS3 during its first month of release but was successful with critics and those who played it. Many players were confused and upset by the Real-Time-Strategy elements, more specifically they felt they had been deceived by EA’s marketing. Three weeks before the game’s launch a demo was released that featured the first playable mission. No elements of the strategy side of the game were present, leading players to assume it was a hack-and-slash adventure game.
Since its initial release, the game has gone on to become a cult classic. The sharp wit of the writing mixed with Jack Black’s personality, and the fun gameplay of Double Fine ensured this game would age well. In February 2013, four years after the game’s launch on PS3 and Xbox 360, Brütal Legend would finally come to PC. DoubleFine worked out a deal with EA that saw them receive complete ownership of the game, enabling them to release it on Steam with minor tweaks and bug fixes. The game is also available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X through backward compatibility and is available for free to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass.
Brütal Legend is a fantastic game with a rich, illustrious world to explore that too many people missed out on when it first came out. Some may be turned off by its seemingly overwhelming Real-Time Strategy gameplay, but the game does a good enough job explaining how everything works that even newcomers to the genre should feel comfortable. While a sequel is unlikely, Brütal Legend will stand the test of time as one of the last great games of the 2000’s, and a fitting conclusion to the Guitar Hero/Rock Band craze that was petering out as Brütal Legend was released.

Explaining the MLB postseason tiebreakers
If two, three or four teams are tied at the end of the regular season, baseball has a plan for that. Anything more is pure chaos.
With division races and Wild Card battles in the National League closely bunched together, there is a chance the 2018 Major League Baseball regular season will not end on Sunday, Sept. 30. That’s right, it’s time to talk tiebreakers.
Since baseball expanded into divisions in 1969, the tiebreakers have all been one game to decide either a division or a Wild Card berth. The last tiebreaker was in 2013 when the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Texas Rangers to win the American League Wild Card. These games technically count as regular season contests, and all the stats count like a normal game.
The 1978 tiebreaker game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park for the American League East was a classic and gave us Bucky F. Dent. The most memorable tiebreaker since was in 2007, when the Colorado Rockies rallied in the 13th inning to stun the San Diego Padres to win the Wild Card, with Matt Holliday sliding home to launch Colorado’s Rocktober run all the way to the World Series.
As good as some of these one-game tiebreakers have been, there is potential for so much more than just a single extra game.
With the postseason scheduled so soon after the regular season — National League Wild Card Game is Tuesday, Oct. 2, and the AL Wild Card Game is Wednesday, Oct. 3 — anything beyond a simple one-game tiebreaker could throw things into a tizzy.
Two-team tie
If there is a tie between two teams — the Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West, the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers in the NL Central, or the Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals for a Wild Card spot, for instance — the procedure is simple. Those two teams would play on Monday, Oct. 1, the day after the regular season, at the site of the team with a better head-to-head record* between the two teams.
If there is a tie between the two Wild Card teams there is no need for a one-game playoff to determine home field advantage for another one-game playoff. The team with the better head-to-head record gets to host. This happened in 2014, when the 88-win Pittsburgh Pirates hosted the 88-win San Francisco Giants thanks to winning four of their six regular season matchups.
Three-team tie
This has never happened, but would be our most likely chance at chaos, as it involves at least two extra days worth of games, which could affect the scheduling of the Wild Card games.
Three teams for one spot: Three teams tying for either a division or Wild Card spot introduces game theory to the proceedings. The team with the best record against the other two teams gets first choice at being Club A, B or C. Of the remaining two teams, the team with the best head-to-head record* between those two gets to choose from the two remaining spots. There are still games to be played but let’s take the NL West for example. If the Rockies, Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks end the year tied, at the moment Arizona has the advantage with a 17-15 record against the other two. Los Angeles owns an 11-7 mark against Colorado and if that holds they would get the second pick.
This can essentially boil down to picking between potentially hosting at least one game but needing two wins, or playing on the road and needing only one win. Club A would host Club B on Oct. 1, with the winner hosting Club C on Oct. 2.
The same A-B-C designation would apply if three teams tied for a single Wild Card spot.
*If head-to-head record isn’t enough to decide pecking orders, MLB digs even deeper into the minutiae. The next deciders, in order, are:
Higher winning percentage in intradivision games (e.g. NL Central vs. NL Central)
Higher winning percentage in the last half of intraleague games (e.g. NL vs. NL)
Higher winning percentage in the last half of interleague games plus one, “provided that such additional game was not a game between the tied clubs.”
Have your eyes glazed over yet?
Three teams for two spots: If two teams tie for a division title, and share the same record of a team in another division for the second Wild Card spot, there are two additional games. The two divisional teams would play Monday for the division title, then the loser would travel to the team outside of their division on Tuesday for the Wild Card berth.
The most likely real-world case of this possibly happening in 2018 appears to be the Dodgers, Rockies and Cardinals, fighting for both the NL West and the second Wild Card spot. In this scenario the Dodgers would host the Rockies on Monday (by winning their regular season series) for the division, then the loser would head to St. Louis on Tuesday for the second Wild Card position. This would necessitate moving the NL Wild Card Game from Tuesday to Wednesday, meaning one of the NL West teams could potentially play five games in five days, in five different cities, culminating in the NLDS on Thursday, Oct. 4.
If three teams are tied for two Wild Card spots they would use the A-B-C designation described above. The winner of Monday’s A-B game wins one Wild Card berth, and the loser would travel to play Club C on Tuesday for the other Wild Card spot.
We came so close to this scenario in 2013, when the Cleveland Indians (91-70) led the Rangers (90-71) and Rays (90-71) with one game to go in the regular season and two Wild Card spots in the balance. A three-way tie would have meant the Indians hosting the Rays on Monday followed by the Rangers hosting the winner on Tuesday. But Cleveland ruined our fun by winning on Sunday to secure one Wild Card spot, leaving us with only one tiebreaker game.
Four-team tie
This is a lot like the three-team scenarios, but while that was as easy as A-B-C, the four-team tiebreakers involve designating teams A, B, C and D.
Four teams for one spot: Whether this is for a division or a Wild Card berth, this is the simplest quad scenario. On Monday after the season Club A hosts Club B and Club C hosts Club D, then on Tuesday the two winners play with the A-B winner at home.
Four teams for two Wild Card spots: If four non-division winners are tied for both Wild Card spots, Club A hosts Club B and Club C hosts Club D on Monday, with the winners claiming both Wild Card spots. Of those two winners, the team with the better head-to-head record is the home team for the Wild Card Game.
Three teams atop one division, plus another for a Wild Card: The team outside the division is designated as Club D here, with the three teams in the same division going through the same ordeal as above to determine A, B and C. On Monday following the regular season, Club A hosts Club B and Club C hosts Club D. If Club D wins, they get the Wild Card berth and the winner of A-B game is the division winner. If Club C wins Monday, they travel to play the A-B winner on Tuesday, with the winner getting the division and the loser the Wild Card spot.
Two teams atop one division, plus two others for two Wild Cards: On Monday we get two games — the two teams in the same division will play for the division title, while the two teams in the other division play for one Wild Card berth. On Tuesday the losers of both Monday games will meet for the other Wild Card berth.
The wildest part of almost all of these four-team scenarios is any National League tiebreaker games needed for Tuesday would necessitate rescheduling the NL Wild Card Game. Welcome to pandemonium.
Five-team tie
This would truly be chaos, but still technically possible with the Cubs, Brewers, Cardinals, Rockies and Dodgers all still closely bunched together. But the scenario is so unlikely that MLB doesn’t have an official scenario to account for this madness. An MLB spokesman said that if things go beyond a four-way tie, the commissioner’s office would have to devise a tiebreaking method.
We can all dream, I suppose.

Will The Gov’t Shutdown? – Daily Pfennig
Chuck Butler’s: A Pfennig For Your Thoughts
December 6, 2017
* Dollar Gets Bought…
* RBA leaves rates unchanged
Good Day… And A Wonderful Wednesday to you! The Pfennig lost the coin toss this morning, so that’s the reason this is later than usual… As I said last Wednesday.. Better late than never, right? Things are still not back to normal around here for me, and so the Pfennig suffers. Hopefully, things begin to normalize for me… Bob Seger and his Silver Bullet Band greets me this morning with their song: Turn The Page, which is exactly what I would like to do with this period of my life!
Well, we finally saw some movement in the currencies yesterday and overnight, with the dollar getting bought, and the currencies slipping. Again, the move isn’t great shakes, but it still is noticeable, so therefore it registers on the Richter Scale.. HA!
There’s an article on the Bloomberg this morning that’s talking about how the dollar will see more selling in 2018, even with the Fed in rate hike mode. The article points out that the dollar has seen its worse year in the last decade in 2017, and the analysts writing the article believe that the impetus toward a lower dollar in 2018, will come from a revival of global growth, and rate hikes that challenge the Fed’s rate hikes all over the globe…
This article falls in line with the one I told you about on Monday from UBS that talked about how they saw a global tightening of credit in 2018.. So, remember earlier this year when I would talk about how I was seeing signs of a revival of global growth, and called it the “Global Growth Tent Revival”? Once again I was ahead of the crowd on this call, but did anyone listen to me? I doubt it… So, listen to me now and hear me later, this Global Growth thing has potential, and that’s it…
There are plenty of athletes that have “potential” but very few of them “make it”… So, while I agree with the article that the dollar will find it a tough row to hoe in 2018, I’m thinking it will have more with the Fed losing whatever credibility they have left, when they have to reverse their moves this year… That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
Things in the U.K. aren’t so rosy these days.. Seems PM May, is backing into a corner on her views regarding BREXIT, and the leaders of the BREXIT move aren’t agreeing with her views… And then there was this latest poll in the U.K. that showed a majority of citizens still believe in BREXIT, but believe it will end badly…
Well, so do I, so we have something in common, eh? The pound was flying high as last week ended, but these new developments with the BREXIT negotiations have pulled the pound back down.
One day after seeing the A$ and kiwi climb to the top of the performers’ list, the both got sold overnight. The A$ took the biggest hit, and the kiwi selling was more of a “sympathy trade”… The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) met last night and left rates unchanged, which everyone expected, but then the RBA had this to say, that I’m sure had something to with the A$ selloff.. The RBA said that they were in no hurry to hike rates, which led the markets to think that their earlier thoughts of a rate hike in the 1st QTR of 2018, will have to be pushed back…
You know, I’m still amazed at the dollar’s underwhelming reaction to the passage of the Tax Reform Bill last weekend… I mean wasn’t this tax bill supposed to be the cat’s meow for the reflation trade here in the U.S. ? Or… was all that already priced in to the dollar? It sure appears that way to me…
So, I’m thinking that if the dollar can’t mount a huge rally on the news that the tax reform bill, then it really is in the stage of beginning to end the strong dollar trend… I’ll stop there and let that last thought sink in a bit…
OK, I’m back! Gold got whacked again yesterday.. UGH! Just what the heck these sellers are thinking is a mystery, and while I don’t plan to attempt to get into their heads, I will say that I think they are all somewhat lost… So, Gold lost $9.70 yesterday with 302,000 contracts traded… Craziness here too folks.. Gold closed below its 200-day moving avg. yesterday according to Ed Steer, and began the day at $1,265.90 today…
The U.S. Data Cupboard yesterday had the Rocktober Trade Deficit and it printed worse than expected! The Trade Deficit widened to $48.7 Billion up from the September print of $44.9 Billion… That’s a HUGE swing folks, and while it signals heaps of imports, it also signals that the dollar was stronger in Rocktober than in September…
Today’s Data Cupboard has the ADP Employment Report, which is supposed to give us an idea what the BLS Jobs Jamboree print will be on Friday.. Last week, my fave economist, Danielle Di Martino Booth, asked readers to send in their favorite employment indicator. She was looking for something not followed by everyone but was better than the BLS report… I almost sent her my feelings on the ADP report…
I’ve said many times that I think the country should ditch the BLS and use the ADP report as their “employment go to report”… ADP is the payroll system for almost every corporation or small business in this country, and if they show that 190,000 jobs were added in a month, they should be the ones who know!
To recap… The dollar got bought on Tuesday and overnight but the moves aren’t huge. U.K. PM May is hearing it from all sides on BREXIT, and the citizens of the U.K. think BREXIT will end up badly… This all weighs on the pound. The RBA left rates unchanged and sent the A$ downward with some comments about not seeing the need to hike rates for some time…
For What It’s Worth… Well, this Friday is the deadline for a budget deal here in the U.S. Recall that the lawmakers kicked the can down the street a couple of months ago, to this Friday… And I read this morning, that there will be another bill to delay it another two weeks… This is more craziness folks… And I doubt the Fed will hike rates on the 13th, if there’s no budget deal in place, or the Gov’t is in shutdown mode… You don’t have to take my thoughts on this as James Rickards weighed in with his thoughts in the Daily Reckoning (www.dailyreckoning.com) yesterday, and I have some of that for you here… you can click on the link above for the full story…
Or… here’s your snippet: “Will Republicans and Democrats agree on a budget, and avoid a government shutdown after midnight Friday?
I’d say the odds are 50/50. Actually, I put the odds of a shutdown at about 55%. There’s certainly enough substance here to be wary.
The government could shut down because of disagreements over defense spending, funding for Trump’s wall with Mexico, deportation of illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children (the “Dreamer Act” also referred to as “DACA”), funding for Planned Parenthood, funding for Obamacare (called “SCHIP”), disaster relief and more.
There’s not much middle ground between Democrats and Republicans on many of these hot button issues.”
Chuck again… I don’t believe the lawmakers will allow the Gov’t to shut down, so look for that “extension” if you will, to save the day this Friday…
Currencies today 12/6/17… American style: A$ .7585, kiwi .6899, C$ .79, euro 1.1804, sterling 1.3384, Swiss $1.0111, … European Style: rand 13.5260, krone 8.2605, SEK 8.4068, forint 266.41, zloty 3.5698, koruna 21.7142, RUB 58.69, yen 112.49, sing 1.3481, HKD 7.8126, INR 64.48, China 6.6140, peso 18.80, BRL 3.2385, Dollar Index 93.37, Oil $56.89, 10-year 2.33%, Silver $16.07, Platinum $907.14, Palladium $996.05, and Gold… $1,267.70
That’s it for today… Well, our Blues got back on the winning track last night in Montreal. They had gone into a funk, but looked much better last night. Winter weather has arrived here in the St. Louis area… I don’t like cold weather one iota, and longtime readers know that I head to S. Florida in January to get away from the cold. But then there’s always this cold weather in December that I despise! At least now that I’m somewhat retired, I don’t have to go out in it if I don’t want to! So I have that going for me, eh? Nilson takes us to the finish line today with his song: Without You… And with that, out of the way, it’s time to go… I hope you have a Wonderful Wednesday, and Be Good To Yourself!
Chuck

Should I do a gaming live stream?
Yeah, no? Anyone interested in seeing my ugly mug and hearing my annoying voice as I play Brütal Legend?
I’ve been thinking about doing this since Rocktober 13th, but just haven’t gotten the time.
So tell me what you guys think! And if you could, tell me what platform you’d all prefer and what time! Like youtube or twitch. And tell me what time zone you guys are in!
I see a good half of you get online when it’s about 10:00 PM Central time where I am. It’d be of better convenience if I could do it earlier in the day like noon, but don’t want to if there’s no way a good chunk of you can’t make it.
