Felt like I hadn't done this in a while...

🎙️Spoken word on an actual physical stage in front of new people (i.e. not ZOOM and requested RECORDINGS - although I've still enjoyed and been blessed to do that too 🙌🏾).

...and well apart from my local church and sister churches, of course 😄😆😉.

😷 The beginning of 2020 I was sharing all over the place (Enfield, London Bridge, Chelsea, Oxford) and at least once a month and then boom the pandemic hit!

🙇🏾‍♀️🎤 So it was a REFRESHING and HUMBLING time to minister, 'Resuscitation' & 'We'll See Each Other Up There' pieces, early last month at the ONE SONG event in Hounslow.

🙏🏽 One song is a space where creatives and anyone with a story come to share and perform original work. @onesongcreatives.

💜 A massive thank you to the beautiful and talented @Iyino who invited me.

It is always a pleasure to meet creatives and receive too, and there were so many talented folk under one roof. There's such a desire in my heart to see everyone release their God-given gifts to the world. I hope you all do.💜🙏🏽

Now I remember a time where God told me in 2012 to stop rapping and focus on spoken word. Little did I realise that this was for a season during which Pass Me The Mic came out and God used that to prepare me to be a better rapper lyrically speaking until He released me to continue almost a year later. Then I was blessed to use a mixture of rap and spoke word on my last #highereducationmixtape and even bussing a couple A Capellas as poetry at a couple events. I haven’t done poetry live since last summer. Will I ever do more in the future? When the time is right. NEW YOUTUBE VIDEO ALERT...TBH I was NOT GOING TO UPLOAD THIS video because I felt that the unstable microphone constricted my free movement, expression and really annoyed me! 🤭 But GOD did a few things; ➡️ 1. Yeshua died on the cross and rose again, and the first verse is a beautiful reminder as to why we celebrate Easter (so I put the first verse on insta). ➡️ 2.
