Now I remember a time where God told me in 2012 to stop rapping and focus on spoken word. Little did I realise that this was for a season during which Pass Me The Mic came out and God used that to prepare me to be a better rapper lyrically speaking until He released me to continue almost a year later. Then I was blessed to use a mixture of rap and spoke word on my last #highereducationmixtape and even bussing a couple A Capellas as poetry at a couple events. I haven’t done poetry live since last summer. Will I ever do more in the future? When the time is right.
