Ever since they left punk hazard luffy just hasn't been himself, he claims he's not hungry, his sleep schedule is off, hes quiet a lot, yet he also seems to be louder and more clumsy.

Chopper has been doing countless exams on him and can't find anything wrong with him, he's cleared luffy about 10 times only to later get so concerned he has to do even more checkups for his and the crews peace of mind

They've tried talking to him but Luffy insists he's fine, better than fine actually, he's felt fantastic lately. They're reluctant to believe him, but they know how bad a liar luffy is and have no choice but believing him, though they're still not completely sure he doesn't have a mystery illness

Eventually they'll find out what's wrong with luffy

Why he hasn't had as big an appetite as usual, why he's been staying up late, why he has moments where he just stares into the ocean, why he's been louder trying to get everyones (though he was mostly doing it for one person) attention, and why he's been falling into the ocean a lot more

Later they'll realize and it'll all click in their minds

I absolutely adore Crowey and Hanna theyre the sweetest! Could you please tell us more about them? Like how did they end up together, was it accidental child acquisition or something else?

Thank you for the ask!! Tbh i just started going feral about my new little au these last few days so nothing is set in stone yet, but here's my current write-up for how it came about that I'm using for art inspo How post-s2 Crowley ended up with an unhinged Daughter

I'm thinking Hanna is a startlingly young but frequent Group Home (or whatever the UK version of a Group Home is) runaway, and during one of her bolts she stumbles across a spitefully morose Crowley sprawled in the grass at a park telling his tales of woe to some ducks or something. Hanna is pretty precocious and also likes Crowley's red hair and the odd way he sits and she has a favorite duck at that particular spot anyway. one which, as she informs crowley, is a better listener than the big brown one with the mean look about him who once chased her half way to the next bench over.

I imagine Crowley will aim for aloof and miss because he's always been helplessly charmed by weird kids, and will ask why the duck was chasing her in the first place. Hanna'll say it must not have liked her mushroom story, to which Crowley will give an "oh?" and Hanna will plop herself down next to our demon and launch into a passionate rant about her favorite fungi. At some point much later a social worker (or again, whatever the UK version of a social worker is sorry im from the States) will track her down (maybe the park is a frequent spot for her?) and drag her back to the group home. But as it happens the next few times she runs off she bumps into Crowley as well, be it by dumb luck or divine intervention who knows. They'll form a camaraderie and get up to some mischief before she's found again. I imagine she catches on to the demon thing pretty quick (she's as bright as she is nosy and Crowley isn't particularly subtle) and is ecstatic to see Crowley's eyes for the first time (before asking why he has eyelids and if he needs to blink). Eventually he'll ask once why she runs away, and she'll tell him the families that come to adopt kids think she's too odd, too underfoot, that she asks too many questions. so instead of waiting around to be left behind she just leaves. Its not so scary that way, she says. And suffice to say Crowley ends up a little attached and perhaps a little fond and perhaps doesn't want to have to watch the social worker drag this lonely kid away again. So he says if she wants she could maybe stick around. They can be something of a team, maybe. And he won't mind that she's odd, or underfoot, or that she asks so many questions. And that'd be that! Demon hand-wavey adoption goes through without a hitch, and soon Crowley's got a car seat in the Bentley and a tiny green step stool by his plants and a kid on his hip💕 So in short to answer your ask, it was not so much an accidental child acquisition as it was a rather intentional child acquisition

i read a fic where robin and nancy were like unnecessarily angry with each other and like..it didnt seem that accurate to me, although i do think theyre like both pretty passive aggressive! but theres also a few fics where the main focus is just robin, i dont mind it really but i feel like maybe nancys characters needs just a little attention as well! (nancy wheeler character study appreciation!!!)

no because i read the first like, four chapters of the outlaws webtoon and was immediately like "haha, no?? why is jay acting like bruce never thought of him as his son? why does this author have it out for b so bad?". i'm glad to know i made the right choice if it just got worse

I could understand the ‘wow, I guess I never really found a family with Bruce if this is just always how it’s going to be with him’ mindset, especially if Bruce was being particularly cruel with him.

He can be cruel. Exploring Jason’s thought process, how he resolves this in his mind and comes to forgive Bruce again and again is something they could have at least touched on. Instead, they not only did nothing new to move the disagreement forward, but they also muddied it further, in a bad way. If they want to complicate (or worse, attempt to resolve) Jason and Bruce’s decades long conflict, that should be a separate comic entirely.

They could have just had Jason cut Bruce off completely (even if temporarily) with the set-up they had, but they did nothing with it (even though they could have avoided the mess they made if they took this route).

Bruce again does something unforgivable to Jason (but now his friends get fucked over too), only for there to be a half-assed make-up conversation that didn’t really address the real issue, and then there’s no further mention of it. Bruce put the outlaws in a simulation for months without their knowledge, and the conversation Bruce had with Jason later wasn’t even about this. Screw Artemis and Bizarro, I guess. They’re expendable because the core conflict is actually about Jason and Bruce.

I wouldn’t say the bad Brucie moments are too ooc based on how he is in canon. The abuse, and him being big on mass surveillance/never trusting anyone while being the one to repeatedly betray other people’s trust. It’s just all the other characters being so tolerant/accepting of his actions is kinda funny, it’s almost like they’re NPCs lol. But also again why are Bruce’s trust issues which cause a strain on his relationship with Jason a main theme in the outlaws book lmao

Ultimately what this webtoon did was take every irritating plot from Jason’s canon appearances, amplified them tenfold, and mixed in even more unresolved plotholes and horrible mis characterizations.

The GIW had gotten on his last nerve. Danny wasn’t at all worried about them actually managing to catch a ghost they were just that bad. But when their pure incompetence managed to mildly injure 12 people and seriously injure another 5, with one in the ICU and no confirmation on them ever coming out of the coma, Danny felt his patience fraying.

After getting the cryptic okay from Clockwork, he enacted his plan to get rid of the jerks. Death by debt. As in, their funding wouldn’t be enough to keep them afloat and they would be disbanded. He started by getting Tucker to locate all their bases, and had Sam work on creating a sedative (using plant products, because she would kill him if he used chemicals).

Once the bases were located and gas canisters were prepared, he was off. All the agents were knocked out, removed from the building, and all weapons taken. After that was Tucker getting into their systems and taking all the data, then wiping it. Then was setting all paperwork on fire and destruction of the building completely.

Watching it crumble gave him so much satisfaction. He stuck around invisible to watch the agents wake up and have a meltdown about their clothing before even noticing the destroyed building. He only barely made it away before nearly dying of laughter.

Luckily this all happened during the summer, his parents had decided to go on a convention road trip, so he was free to leave the state and destroy more bases. He ended up in Gotham and was shocked the Agents had managed to even step foot in the place. It felt like the air itself would stain their white suits.

Shaking off the feeling and sending out a ‘I’m a guest here to remove some pests’ to Lady Gotham, Danny moved towards the base in what was a well oiled system by now. He had managed to knock all the agents out and was moving them outside when he heard a cough behind him. Turning he saw one of the Bats, Red Robin.

“What exactly are you doing?” RR asked with mild curiosity.

Danny glanced down at the agents then back up to RR. “Teenage venting through destruction of government property?”

They stared at each other silently for a minute before RR broke out in a grin. “Can I help?”

Danny smirked. “Sure! You go inside and bring the rest of them out. I’ll search them for weapons and stuff.”

RR was about to walk away to do as asked when he saw Danny taking off the shoes. “Are the shoes weapons too?”

Danny snickered. “Nah. They have this thing about getting their white suits dirty and it fills me with glee to make their white socks dirty too.”

Danny swore he could hear someone howling in laughter through RR’s coms.

Eddie has never sold to Steve Harrington.

He has never nor will he ever sell to Steve Harrington. Sure, he sold to Steve friends who probably give him the drugs but that’s rich boy money.

And sure, Steve has never actually tried to buy from him but it’s the principle of the matter. Which is what makes this so interesting because, “Harrington?”

“Hey.”

Steve has been MIA from school for the past week and Billy has been telling everybody that he beat him to death, and well. It certainly looks like he gave it a good effort. So really.

What’s Eddie supposed to do here? Uphold his morals?

“Can I…help you?” Eddie asks, opening the screen door for him.

Steve hobbled insides and immediately asks, “You sell stuff, right? Whatever anybody wants, you got it?”

“That’s what they say. Got something in mind?”

“Sleep.”

“What?”

“I need - I just need sleep,” Steve says, words fast and a little desperate. “I can’t sleep at my house, man. I can’t. It’s - god, it’s been four days and my head is killing me. I - I feel like I’m going to die. I need sleep.”

Eddie just stares at him, blinking slowly because it doesn’t actually sound like Steve is asking for drugs. It sounds like he’s scared to have his guard down at home so, “Yeah, okay. Um, take the couch.”

Steve is asleep almost as soon as he sits down and when he wakes up a couple hours later, he gives Eddie ten bucks and leaves.

Eddie kinda thinks it’s going to be a one-off situation but a couple weeks later, Steve is back. He only ever sleeps for a couple hours, pays Eddie, and goes.

The only changes are that he eventually graduates from sleeping on the couch to in Eddie’s bed (so Eddie doesn’t have to explain Steve to Wayne again) and Eddie shows Steve where the spar key so he can come in when Eddie is at band practice.

Dont get Eddie wrong, this situation is weird but there are worse ways to make money.

It is what it is until it isn’t. Until it’s… “What the fuck is this?”

Eddie knew Steve was here because he religiously leaves his shoes neatly by the front door but - “A girl? He brought a girl.”

Because, yeah. That’s a blonde sailor girl next to Steve in his bed. They’re both open mouth drooling on his pillows, smell like fire, and look like hell. The only reason he doesn’t kick them out because he knows Starcourt caught on fire last night.

He does pull the blanket off them and goes to sleep in the living room.

He wakes an hour later to the feeling of someone watching him and when he opens his eyes, he’s met with - “Robin Buckley, nice to meet you, Eddie Munson.”

This feels like a trap.

“Uh, yeah. Same.”

She gives him a smile like she has secrets and then holds up a stack of Polaroids, “Does Steve know you take pictures of him while he’s sleeping?”
