This is what I love in the best bands to challenge their own success to push that envelope. I so love the path they took here with electronica playing a great role, as only Flood and Eno could do, I would say at this time U2 could be the best live band at that time. What I love is that U2 Re-signed to Chris Blackwell’s Island records out of loyalty, when every major label would have offered anything to sign the band. I was so lucky to spend time with both Chris Blackwell and The Edge in 83 at Compass Point whilst making a record.
