This is what I love in the best bands to challenge their own success to push that envelope. This album was started in late 1972 and the various sessions went on to 1981. The hero of this record is producer Chris Kimsey who went through the Rolling Stone’s vaults and found the best songs to finish. It’s every reason that Wayne Perkins & Mick Taylor played guitar on this out standing record. I so remember the tour as this is when Iggy supported the Stones at The Silverdome in Pontiac Mi . I remember that they found an expensive camera that was tossed at Iggy on the stage besides everything else. As Iggy has a history of things being tossed at him at gigs in Detroit. song for song, this is a great Stones album! Waiting on A Friend, Little T+A, Hang Fire and their perennial opener - Start Me Up - I loved when they use to open with Honky Tonk Woman - man I so miss Charlie!
