I had an unusual user followed me yesterday who had a record of stalking and harassing anyone they come across. This person had attacked and sent gore to other users. The account, bi0mass-is-the-roadkill-fairy, had deactivated their account. The victims who were affected by this person said that this user has a tendency to create new accounts after deactivating. They use these new accounts to block evade and continue harassment of vulnerable targets, including additional targets such as anyone who follows, are mutuals, or just happened to like or reblog from their target.

I still hid my likes and followers list to limit the chances of this happening to any of my followers or any accounts I interact. They don't often mention other people, but I rather play safe and limit my mentions. Blocking those affected or followed by this creep will not protect you as this user's target list is very high. Simply by following a random account stalked by this person is enough to get you targeted.

If you get an ask or DM about blocking or harassing someone named Jade (their primary target who is a victim of this stalker), please block the person who sent you this. This user has a tendency to also send gore or other violent imagery to trigger severe reactions in people. You don't have to directly go to their blog to block them, just use your blog's settings and put their username into Blocked Tumblrs > Tumblrs to Block field.

I've been paying like... 0.2% attention to it lately, since I've been having a rough time and haven't been online as much (and when I am online I'm focusing on - y'know, stuff that doesn't suck lol) but - that's kinda the thing, right?

How the hell did I end up consistently getting my username at like position #2 or 3 on roadkill fairy's shit list WHILE completely ignoring, blocking new accounts like whack-a-mole without responding to anything, and barely commenting or keeping up with the situation

Anyway I think it's important to note that @/petplaygossip and @/lurkingpuppi have been facilitating stalking and abusive behavior for YEARS, so you may wanna block them too! If you allow someone in your community to behave this way and facilitate and participate in it, you are complicit

Heads up, a bunch of people today are getting spammed with the same copy/pasted message demanding that you participate in someone else's personal drama.

And the thing is whether you decline to join the crusade against a stranger based entirely on another stranger's word or you just quietly ignore this user, they will later send you photos of dead cats with their guts everywhere????

People will take anything you say to twist it into you being a bigot of some kind. Like the time someone had a screaming meltdown calling me racist because I said brownie hummus shouldn’t exist. Or the whole group that says I’m somehow both transphobic and transmed because I don’t like it when people insist a character is canonically a different gender than presented.

But the most insulting one was from a supposed friend. I was still coping with my diabetes diagnosis and rambling about things. In an attempt to put a positive spin on things I mentioned that the medication and everything would help me lose weight. He derailed everything and accused me of “internalized fatphobia”.

So if anyone makes a serious claim about another person without proof, keep these sorts of things in mind. People can and will take the tiniest things out of context and try to make them into something huge. To a reasonable person a transphobe is someone who hates trans people. To the unreasonable the statement “if you change a character’s gender, that’s an AU” is enough to make a full blown callout post accusing someone of transphobia.

Don’t blindly believe claims that can’t even point you to a single post of the alleged behavior within the last year.

Sometimes I think I'm lucky to not be all that badly affected by the whole situation compared to others, but then I realize "hey wait, I've got a lifelong history of abuse, am approaching a trauma anniversary of a year ago this month and have been having intermittent dissociative and psychotic symptoms, maybe the fact that I have no immediate discernible physical or emotional reaction to being unwillingly exposed to extremely upsetting imagery and harassment directed towards myself and others for absofuckinglutely zero reason and completely fucking irrelevant of my behavior or reaction or lack thereof, and instead just having seemingly random panic attacks and occasionally compulsively triggering myself just to see how much it takes to feel anything, and only think I'm unaffected because I don't consider myself or my mental health as something to be concerned about since I also intermittently believe myself to be literally dead or nonexistent, is actually probably quite a bad thing

Im still deeply, deeply amused by Roadkill’s antics.

I called them out for intentionally misusing pronouns and they got huffy no one used theirs. So I said, okay, by your logic we can only use the opposite. Only to start screaming that was a crime in their state. Like I think they were genuinely upset.

They willingly deactivated shortly after. Then a few hours later Auzu shows up with “proof” about something, screaming about me harassing them, waving around an utterly incoherent google doc they claim to have spent a whole two hours on. Which happened to be the approximate time between Roadkill deactivating and the post being made. They claimed it was what I asked for. What I’d asked for, from Auzu, was proof of the claims against Jade. When they gave wasn’t that.

This is why you don’t build convoluted lies. I’d asked Roadkill for proof that they were who they claimed to be or not be. Not Auzu.

Auzu also brought up me rejecting “evidence” in the past. Specifically pointing to what one of the supposed impostor Auzu accounts had posted. Why would me be rejecting a claim made by an impostor be a problem for the real person when the claim being made would make the real person look like an utter moron?
