Here is a Google image of the previous configuration of Venice Blvd. Note the bike lane between the parked cars and the 3rd lane for vehicles. We are advocating the the return of the third lane for cars and a reconfiguration of the street that works for everyone. We believe the #roaddiet implemented on May 20th, 2017 isn’t working and Venice Blvd. wasn’t an appropriate candidate for a lane reduction.

2016 has been even worse for tardiness so far, with 22.7 percent of buses running late through March. What's behind the recent slowdown? Metro's Bob Holland said that recent construction has hurt buses' on-time performance. That includes Metro's own work on the Regional Connector downtown. Holland added that a number of other factors, including heavier traffic and road diets, have cut into on-time performance.
