Ro's Argan Body Conditioner from Lush: 5 points
This stuff is so luscious (pun intended) and conditioning. You smooth it on in the shower and then rinse it off after a few minutes and it moisturizes making you feel like a babies but all over. The smell is fantastic, it's supposed to smell like roses, but personally I find it to be more of a Vanilla Apple Cinnamon. If you've ever used any of the Rose Jam scented items it the same thing.

My routine for my bath last night. I used my Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar & Cupid bath bomb and the water turned a beautiful fluorescent pink. Next I used a charcoal face mask and exfoliated. Then it was time to use Prince Charming Shower Cream and Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner. Never has my skin felt so hydrated and soft. To finish off I moisturised with A Thousand Wishes body lotion and used my The Kiss Lip Gloss 👄feeling so incredibly pampered right now 💖

🍯, 🌧️, and 🌈? Only if you feel like doing them!
Sure thing! You’ve got it! :D
🍯- describe your favorite smell
The smell of summer rain on the pavement. Fresh, crisp, and soothing against New York’s disgusting humidity in July and August. Also, Ro’s Argan body conditioner from LUSH.
🌧️- favorite thing to do on rainy days?
Have a cup of herbal tea and read a good book or bake something (I bake to relieve stress, haha.)
🌈- things I find attractive in girls/guys
I like guys who are, above all else, modest and genuine. Arrogance is a massive turn-off for me. It’s extremely attractive when I can have an interesting conversation with a guy, and I can see that he’s got a good head on his shoulders. I value intelligence, but he doesn’t need to be book smart necessarily -- he just has to be emotionally intelligent. I also like guys who have big aspirations and are working toward a dream. I don’t like couch potatoes. I like it when we can mutually learn from one another, grow, and encourage each other to be the best we can be -- that’s why arrogance doesn’t work for me. It’s also attractive when I can see that he’s nice to other people, has good friends, and treats his parents with respect. If he’s treating others poorly, then that means he has the capacity to act the same way toward me in the long run.
In terms of physical traits, I do prefer guys who are at least my height or taller. I know some people might accuse me of being shallow. That’s fine if you think that. I, personally, do not feel sexually attracted to guys who are shorter than me, and I believe at least some sexual attraction is important in any healthy relationship. If you’re 5′10 ft like me and are attracted to someone shorter, that’s great. More power to you. I'm not, and everyone’s different. People can criticize me for it (and they have in the past), I don’t care. I feel the way I feel. I have the right to like whoever I want, and everyone has different preferences and needs -- it’s part of being human. For example, I’m not sexually attracted to women, so I don’t date women, lol. It’s as simple as that.

Shower and Body Care
We all know one of the best ways to unwind after a long day is a long, hot shower. Picking what soaps, scrubs, and moisturizers to scrub off the stresses of the day is a serious business; LUSH makes it fun and colorful! From jiggling jellies that cleanse, to self-preserving shower creams, to solid exfoliating bars, LUSH’s shower and body care has flipped the script on your run-of-the-mill shower gel!
Shower jellies are as hilarious to use as they are innovative in their design. Originally launched in 2005, shower jellies are just what they sound like: wobbly blobs of jelly-like soap that form an impossibly creamy lather when foamed up. The jiggle of this soap is derived from a polysaccharide known as carrageenan, which comes from seaweed. There are two ways to use the jellies in the shower: 1) wet the jelly and lather it up, like you would with a normal bar of soap, 2) pinch off a small piece of the jelly and lather it up using a loofah or washcloth. LUSH recommends the first approach officially on its website, but personal experience has proved the jelly to be extremely slippery when used in this manner. I prefer breaking off a few small pieces and agitating it in a loofah; it results in a luxuriously thick foam that leaves skin hydrated and soft to the touch. One of the longest-running scents in the Jelly Line at LUSH is an excellent way to introduce yourself to the joys of jiggly shower soap: Whoosh is a zesty citrus scent formulated to wake you up, all wrapped up in a delightfully fluorescent shade of blue. While the lemon, lime, grapefruit, and rosemary are refreshing enough on their own, a great tip for the summer months is to store your jelly in the freezer when you’re not using it!
Moisturizing your skin is important, but LUSH believes that it should not be limited to post-shower ritual. Enter Body Conditioner, a lotion you can use in the shower to seal in hydration. Body Conditioner is self-preserving, meaning it is low on the naturally-derived chemical additives scene in other LUSH products. Not only do they leave your skin feeling soft, Body Conditioners at LUSH smell fantastic and leave your body fragrantly scented. Ro’s Argan is a classic, bestselling Body Conditioner; invented by LUSH co-founder Rowena Bird, its name is a double entendre as it is full of Argan oil and scented with a floral vanilla rose. There are no less than 6 moisturizing agents in this formula: cocoa butter, shea butter, cupuacu butter, brazil nut oil, almond oil and, of course, almond oil. After washing and rinsing your body, dip into the recycled plastic pot of Ro’s Argan and smooth it all over your skin. Rinse clean and prepared to be amazed at how incredibly hydrated you are; you definitely don’t need to moisturize after the shower when using a Body Conditioner.
If you’re looking to combine moisture with a good scrub, LUSH has a solution for that! A Naked solution, no less! Body Butters operate under a similar heading as the above described Body Conditioners in that they, too, are in-shower moisturizers. But there are some key differences between the two. First, Body Conditioners are self-preserving, but the Body Butters have the added distinction of being packaging-free, or Naked. This means they are slightly better for the environment and are a good option for people looking to reduce their waste output. Let’s take a look at the Buffy Body Butter, one of the earliest LUSH products. Buffy is excellent for cellulite reduction as it’s full of exfoliating but hydrating ingredients such as ground rice, ground almonds, cocoa butter and shea butter that smooth out ‘rough bits.’ Buffy also has lavender oil for balancing your skin’s oil production and lemon oil to brighten and tone. After you’ve rinsed all the soap off your body, rub the Body Butter all over your body and massage the exfoliants into your skin before thoroughly rinsing off. You’ll find your skin brightened, smoothed, and so hydrated the water will bead off of your skin.

A Dry Girls Guide To Winter Skin
Will all the dry skinned folks please stand up. It’s a struggle bus having dry skin. Even more so this time of the year when Texas weather just won’t make up its mind. Here’s how I’m currently surviving.
Pile On The Facial Oils: Find a facial oil that agrees with your skin. There are tons on the market. I’ve been loving using straight jojoba oil on my face. Jojoba oil mimics the skin’s natural oil it produces. I really enjoy this oil morning and night. Makeup even sits nicely on top of this oil. It’s also a nice carrier oil for a glycolic serum such as the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum. (Another favorite!)
Moisturizing Body Scrub: My all time favorite scrub is Buffy from Lush Cosmetics. With a base of Shea Butter and ground almonds, this buffs off any dead skin very gently. I have psoriasis all over my scalp and in some places on my body. This scrub never irritates any super dry areas of my body which is a huge plus!
Always use a body conditioner: I have been using my Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner for years. I love the mixture of the Argan Oil and the Shea Butter. A body conditioner is essentially an in-shower lotion. My dry skin drinks it up. And, let’s be honest. nobody has the time to let regular lotion sink in after a shower.
Keeping A Nourishing Lip Balm With You Always: The Weleda Skin Food made it into my 2019 Favorites. So when I found the Weleda Skin Food Lip Balm, I about lost it. Please take my money. I really have enjoyed using this lip balm. It’s a lovely glossy finish but extremely nourishing.
Glossier FutureDew: Glossier describes this as a oil serum hybrid. I have loved using it in combination with a light coverage concealer to keep my skin looking fresh and juicy. Want to save some money on your first Glossier purchase? Use my code to save some money!
What are your must haves during the dry months?

and I honestly never knew their gift sets had this much stuff? and for lush standards “this much” means like....... a full bar of soap and substantial amounts of tubbed goods. especially their “all the best” gift set which is like a full bar of soap, two maybe half sized (but more than enough) tubs of body scrub and conditioner. then a travel sized shower gel is only ~$40......... and ro’s argan is easily $35 for one tub so??????????? I’m just gonna get a gift set next time but the gift will be to me

The rest of the Lush calendar (very late i know)
Day 20 I got the No Drought dry shampoo. Awesome, because I just ran out of my last bottle of dry shampoo (and hadn’t tried Lush’s)! The only problem with this one is, that since it isn’t in a spray bottle, it’s rather difficult to apply. Buuuut I’ll just go through the effort of getting used to it.
Day 21 I knew immediately it was the Karma shower bomb since the scent was super strong and one that’s very dear to me. I haven’t quite gotten the hang of shower bombs yet but I’ll just have to try again. The Karma scent works wonderfully in this format though!
Day 22 I had hinted the online store that Buck’s Fizz has one of my fave scents and was very happy to receive the aforementioned solid body conditioner. I love body conditioners, but something about the solid versions make the scents a bit different from the liquid (?) ones. I ended up last year throwing my solid Christingle body conditioner to the bin because it smelled so weird on my skin.
Day 23 I got the Eau Roma toner. I love the fact that Lush toners come in spray bottles, and that they contain no alcohol. I had only tried (and LOVED) Breath of Fresh Air and this one is just as good.
Day 24 Instead of the little baggies, there was a little gift box, so I thought there must be two or three products. It was the Butterfly -gift, which contains a shower gel, a soap and a body conditioner, except they were kind enough to swap the non-vegan product it originally includes with the vegan Happy Hippy -shower gel. The soap was the lovely Lavender Vida Loca and the body conditioner was Ro’s Argan, which has my ultimate favorite scent (Rose Jam).

I know you’ve all been wondering what the most tragic thing about me not having a girlfriend is, and the research is in: it’s that no one but me gets to see how sparkly my entire body is after using lush’s Ro’s Argan sparkly naked body conditioner (naked in the name refers to it not having any packaging, not the fact that no one is getting to see how sparkly my naked body is, although like, there it is!). LIKE! I AM A WONDER!!! AND NO ONE IS GAZING UPON ME?!?!?!?
