OH AND CAPTAIN AMERICA WAS LIKE THE LEADER OF THIS ENTIRE GROUP OF HUNDREDS OF MULTIVERSAL BEINGS??? or like co leader. he co-lead it with this character my sister made called Alyssa, who was like the granddaughter of the Dark Lord. half the fucking plotlines revolved around the team going "idfk dawg Alyssa is a little sus for being the granddaughter of the Dark Lord" and them always being wrong. she was always good it's just everyone on the fucking team was suspicious of her. even sonic. y'know, the guy who fucking trusts everyone?

i was just reminded of this story so you folks get to learn some YAKKYR LORE! when me and my sister were younger, we had this game we would play called Real Life Superheroes (real fucking creative name I know) where we would basically roleplay as whatever characters we wanted (it was not just superheroes, i remember begging my sister to let me be fnaf characters) on this big superhero team, and we would fight this big bad called "The Dark Lord" (8-11 yr old me's creativity was unmatched i know) and his power set was basically whatever we fucking wanted. btw when i said it was not just superheroes, I meant it. you had your avengers and dc heroes, sure, but you also had me shoehorning in whatever i wanted like sonic, mario, the engineer from tf2, obi wan kenobi, freddy fucking fazbear, you name it. even villains were on the team (one of which i distinctly remember being fucking thanos).

what's even more wild was we created this big ass story in a tiny ass basement that was basically shaped like a donut if it was a square. even funnier was if we didn't like how one another made a scene play out, we could just fucking veto it and redo the scene. it was bliss. we even abbreviated the name to RLSH to make it sound cooler

HOW TO BE A WHITE VIGILANTE AT A BLACK LIVES MATTER PROTEST

Black Lives Matter rallies and police brutality protests are EXACTLY the time and place to go out as your alter ego. The mask. The clothes. The protective gear. The hair, makeup, and whatever else... but there are things you need to keep in mind.

This post is directed at white vigilantes who want to take part in protests led by people of color. I’ll lead with this: this is not about YOU.

American culture is inherently racist. It’s in the media. It’s in our schools. It’s in our heads. That’s why it’s called systemic racism, and that’s why even the most well-meaning white person is racist. Police imprison, beat, and murder black people at their own discretion. These protests are BY black people, FOR black people. Again: this is NOT about YOU.

If you’re white, a protest is NOT the time to grab the megaphone and make yourself the center of attention. You need to be the one passing out water bottles, administering first aid. If you’re white, you need to be the one standing between the cops and your black brothers and sisters. You are there to listen. You are there to protect. You are there to support in any way you can WITHOUT making yourself a spectacle.

Don’t dress too flashy. Don’t make this about you. Being a vigilante means doing what the police fail to do: you protect and serve. Looking the part of superhero is who you are and a part of what you do, and it’s important - we just have to remember WHY we do what we do.

We’re here to help. Even when they think we’re freaks. Even when words like “superhero” and “vigilante” make them roll their eyes. Life could be a comic book if we all just tried.

the camp survived the night! happy day 8!!!

RLSH still wants us gone today so we'll likely be facing violence from the police. we're very worried about the possibility of tear gas being deployed in camp. we are prepared for this but calling UNM PD is so helpful. let them know that the world is watching them and that they will not get away with harming us.

today we're holding a rally and march at 6pm. we demand:

Declare; a public call for ceasefire and an end to the occupation

Disclosure; of all UNM investments

Divestment; from all companies involved in the genocide of Palestinians

I come to you today seeking your protection as I patrol my community. I ask that you grant me your strength and speed, that I may be able to keep my fellow citizens safe from harm.

I know that you are a god of the wild, and that you are often associated with danger. But I also know that you are a god of protection, and that you care for those who are in need.

Please watch over me as I patrol, and help me to keep my community safe. I ask that you give me the wisdom to know when to fight, and the courage to do what is right.

Hi! My name Is RAVER RAVEN, and I'm a nonbinary POC member of the Real Life Superhero Movement (RLSH)!

I would love to connect with other active members of this movement especially if you are based in or around Utah! Although it is important to know that due to my significant physical and mental disabilities along with not being financially stable or having my own place yet that I only plan on patrolling at conventions and other events where I live along with doing online activism for the time being.

A Successful Mission Accomplished! Yesterday was awesome for National Superhero Day! Dark Defender , Fallen Angel, and Arctic fox had a great time in the Knoxville Sector in the Tennessee Divison of the JAI. More stuff are to come , please stay tuned for more events.

Who am I?

I am the Lonely Silver Beatle, a crusader secretly parading the streets of Oslo, Norway. Tied up in the far north and with my civilian life, I am not able to fight much, but it is more to the job than just fighting criminals. 

The Lonely Silver Beatle is a real-life superhero. 

Superheroes excist, and I am one of them. They are, more often than not, hidden in the shadows, as cringey and clichè as that sounds, it’s true. Usually, if you’re not a local, and have seen them wandering your local streets, you probably don’t even know that they exist. I have been into the idea of real life superheroes for a while now, and I still don’t know of a single one residing in Norway. Not a single one, in my whole country. 

But, I know they are out there. I want to meet them. I want to connect! 

I want the superheroes of this whole great wonderful world to know of each other, exchange ideas, and make ourselves known. 

We exist. And we will be damned if we don’t change the world, so that is exactly what we will do.
