I've been following you for a few days, because I was happy that another Wyatt Earp blog is around because there's so few, and decided to give you a chance, but your "Wyatt" is pretty much an oc. If you're intending to be similar to the Wyatt Earp of Tombstone, you've definitely failed. And, he's definitely not the Wyatt Earp of Wynonna Earp. I'd take it out of his description if I were you.

OKAY. i USUALLY just delete negative anons like this as soon as they show up, but i really wanted to clarify a few things. hope ya read through this, anon, just so you know where i’m coming from. it’s pretty long.

first, MY WYATT EA/RP IS NOT SOLELY BASED ON THE WYATT SHOWN IN WYNO/NNA EA/RP, given the fact that as of right now, wyatt literally only has two scenes in the show. i figured that just wasn’t enough to go on. so, i branched out and found other inspirations, because guess what, I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE A WYATT EARP BLOG. and, wanna know something? tombstone isn’t really one of my inspirations for this blog. the overall aesthetic of the film is, but as far as wyatt earp’s portrayal in the movie? nope. if it was, i probably would have just went ahead and used kurt russel as wyatt’s faceclaim. you want to know who REALLY inspires my wyatt, just so you can go ahead and factcheck me and make sure i’m satisfying you? ray/lan giv/ens from justi/fied, matt dillon from gunsmoke, walt long/mire from long/mire, grace hannadarko from saving grace, seth bullock from deadwood, and john wayne— because, guess what, it’s said that because john wayne actually MET wyatt earp before he died, he based a lot of his characters on wyatt earp himself. hell, even ron sw/anson from pa/rks and r/ec inspires my wyatt a little bit. so, i’m pretty sure i can’t “FAIL” something i wasn’t even trying to accomplish in the first place?

second, my wyatt is a DARKENED VERSION of wyatt earp, as i explained in an in-depth post HERE. my wyatt is not the famed straight-and-narrow lawman as many people believe wyatt earp was. my wyatt was ONCE that man, but he isn’t anymore, due to the fact that he’s CURSED along with his entire bloodline. this is why he’s a wyn/onna ea/rp rp blog and not just a general historical rp blog, because the whole bloodline curse/hunting-demons thing??? it’s crucial to MY WYATT’S character development. sorry if that’s not what you want, hon.

and, did you happen to see in my rules that i stated, “my particular wyatt earp is a balance of both wynonna earp’s portrayal AND actual history, as well as general headcanon!” i mean, that would have been pretty hard to miss if you’d read through them, right? p sure i never mentioned tombstone in my rules/about page either. how weird :///////

lasty, i’ve literally only had this blog for SIX DAYS. i made it on july 16th. meaning, there’s a big chance that i don’t have all of wyatt’s kinks worked out yet. and, i never said i did, because i KNOW i don’t. and, you know what, the dude literally DIED like NINETY years ago, and he was a real person. NO ONE IS GOING TO EVER BE ABLE TO PORTRAY HIM ACCURATELY, SO I DON’T THINK IT’S THAT FAIR TO GET ON SOMEONE’S ASS FOR NOT WRITING AT YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

this really bummed me out when i read it, and i even thought about just deleting this blog for a minute, but i realized that i’ve already made a few new friends on here, because the wyn/onna ea/rp rp community is fucking amazing, and i’m definitely not going to leave it.
