Pink & Channing Tatum Do Drag In Colorful 'Beautiful Trauma' Music Video
Pink & Channing Tatum Do Drag In Colorful ‘Beautiful Trauma’ Music Video
Just days after wowing everyone with a death-defying aerial performance of “Beautiful Trauma” on the side of a JW Marriott Hotel at the 2017 American Music Awards, Pink unveils the official music video for the title track off her current album. It co-stars the always charming Channing Tatum.
The colorful clip begins with Pink channeling a 50s stereotypical housewife, cooking and cleaning for her…

In this adorable, aesthetically pleasing 60s style music video, P!nk plays house with Channing Tatum. The video opens with credits, announcing P!nk & Channing Tatum in a Goldenboyz Picture. The video is an homage to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
The video opens with P!nk and Tatum in a Mr. and Mrs. sleeping masks. They are sleeping in separate twin beds, with beautiful pink, silk sheets. P!nk gets dressed in a colorful house wife-y outfit, while Tatum sits on a couch still covered in plastic. P!nk irons a hole right through one of Tatum’s shirts, burns pies, and takes a ridiculous amount of medication while Tatum pours liquor in his morning coffee. This is all happening while P!nk is singing the lyrics “my love, my drug we’re fucked up”. As their morning drugs kick in, they do an amazingly cute little dance to the hook of the song.
“You punched a hole in the wall and I framed it”, P!nk sings as she walks by a literal framed picture of a hole that Tatum punched in their wall. She walks into their bedroom and finds Tatum cross-dressing for fun, and joins him. Flash to the day escalating quickly as they get drunk on martinis and P!nk ties Tatum to the couch.
This video is incredible because it seems like such an ordinary, nice 60s home, but its really like “theres something so untraditional and wrong here”. Its all in good fun though, “Beautiful Trauma” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Directed and choreographed by Nick Florez & RJ Durell.

P!nk Dances It Out With Channing Tatum In ‘Beautiful Trauma’ Music Video!
Hot on the heels of her epic sky-high performance on the 2017 American Music Awards, P!nk debuts the official music video for “Beautiful Trauma,” the title track and second official single off of her latest album.
In the clip, directed and choreographed by Nick Florez and RJ Durell, the 38-year-old superstar teams up with Channing Tatum to play a dysfunctional couple going through the ups and downs of being in an relationship with a series of colorful dance sequences. It stars off conventionally with cooking and ironing of the clothes, but then gets turned up with cross-dressing and finally an S&M routine where Channing is tied up and Pink is the dominatrix.

I think that the fact that almost all jazz routines were actually jazz to me is one of the best things from the season,. Only jazz routine that wasn't jazz was Sonya routine, but it was probably named jazz for versatility. I wonder if having Paula on the panel had to something to do with it. I also think that with practice Nick & RJ could become one of the staple choreographers for this show. Ray also had great season. Though jazz as a genre is so underrated on the show. We got some great jazz.
Was it called jazz? I thought that one was called contemporary. I thought it was contemporary this whole time.
I think jazz used to be a lot more of a thing in the older seasons, probably because there was more Mandy and Tyce’s jazz routines are good sometimes. I like Nick and RJ, they pretty much won me over with Woman (Hey Mama). If there are more seasons and they stick around, I could like them a lot.
I’m probably alone in this, but Canned Heat is unironically one of my favorite jazzes of the season. If not my favorite, lmao.

P!nk Makes Her Message Clear In Powerful ‘What About Us’ Music Video!
Fresh from the announcement that she been chosen to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year’s MTV VMAs, P!nk unveils the powerful music video for “What About Us,” the lead single off of her seventh album, Beautiful Trauma.
The visual, which was directed by Georgia Hudson and choreographed by the Goldenboyz (RJ Durell and Nick Florez), sees P!nk elaborating on the song’s politically-charged message with imagery of police cars, helicopters blaring spotlights down on people in the street, and audio of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at the Republican National Convention giving the keynote speech ahead of then-candidate Donald Trump’s appearance. The audio then crossfades into a man saying, “We are going to reject hate! We are going to reject racism!” Aside from the imagery, we see P!nk joining a big group of dancers (“the oppressed”) in the street and in the desert, as they use their slick choreography as their form of speech and expression.
A timely and powerful visual. “It’s the start of us waking up,” indeed!
