#26: "Azeem O Shaan Shahenshah" (Mollee/Nathan Bollywood), Top 18

Disco and Bollywood right in a row. I really can't rationalize what the producers were thinking with these two. But at least it's a good Bollywood.

A very good Bollywood. Definitely their best routine as a couple. I mean, I know that's not saying much, but I actually really like this. In terms of choreography, it's one of my favorite things that Nakul has put together. It just seems to have an actual intention/structure, unlike a lot of his routines where it seems like he literally just put whatever he could think of it in it for the lulz. 

It also shows off Nathan quite a bit. I think part of the reason I find him so frustrating is because he's so good but he was just so...spoiled. But that illusion turn flip thing without ever once breaking form was pretty impressive. And Mollee was great, too. Usually my complaint about her is that she gives too much at times, but she actually seemed a bit mature in this dance. Sort of. A little bit.

Also the lighting at the beginning and at the end were really awesome. I really didn't hate the stage for this season. Well, that much.

forever regretting the day that I stopped watching SYTYCD

Why did I do that??

 I have so many SYTYCD feelings right now! (I blame my crush post yesterday)

I've been watching video's off Neil and Nathan the hole day and I've come to the point that I can't find any more!

Then I started to watch my favourite routines and I just UGH!!!!

I think that actually Nathan and Noelle would work pretty well. I also think that Nathan/Mollee would work better if they had better styles. but to be honest Mollee was sweet with both Russel and Jakob, so I son't think it was her. Kathryn and Nathan were ok, but by now we know that Kathryn can make look like she have chemistry with anybody. So I think that it might have been Nathan's fault, but who knows.

Mollee and Nathan could have done better if they had better styles, but that partnership just wasn't...good. And I totally blame Nathan because Mollee had more than enough chemistry with the other two people she danced with and Nathan couldn't even make a rumba with Kathryn work. I think he just wasn't mature enough for the show. In more ways than one. But maybe he and Noelle could have done fine together, who knows.

#28: "Turn the Beat Around" (Mollee/Nathan disco), Top 20

I enjoy this dance more than I'd like to admit. 

I mean...it was before I knew how insufferable Nathan was, and it was before their Severe Chemistry Vacuum was apparent, and how was I supposed to know that it was only the beginning of their weird style picks? It's an energetic, well-danced disco. >.<

Alright, so maybe it's a bit of a guilty pleasure. 

I still fear a bit for Mollee's life during those lifts, but at least Nathan looks like he wants to be on stage with her. Maybe it was before he got annoyed with her or something. I actually think he's really good in this style. (I also think it proves that what Adam said to Kent about his disco in season 7 was bull since he loved Nathan and they had about the same level of maturity in it.) Mollee almost gives too much at times, but I can deal with it.

Let me have my guilty pleasure disco in peace. /grumbles
