Okay, hear me out. I think that 11, Amy and Rory met a post library River. Or at least post Husband's of River Song.

Why? You may ask.

Because of one piece of dialog from the Pandorica episodes.

"I dated an SD duplicate once.... swappable heads."

She's talking about Ramone and Nardole/Hydroflax.

Therefore, she either escaped The Library and is running around through time and space. OR... she had adventures during her time on Darilium.

But the way she says it: "ONCE," makes me think that she's talking about more than 24 years ago.

So I think, she escaped The Library. She had to have. But she also knew at the library that she couldn't give out 'Spoilers.'

So what did she do? She told the doctor about Darilium.

But how did she escape the library? Who helped her escape? Did she even need help?

But also, because she has to keep the timeline intact she acts like she's not from the future when Amy mentions the Weeping Angel's at the Bizantium. So she hops around and makes sure that things play out the way they're supposed to.

All of this makes me think that Amy, Rory and 11 had more adventures with a post library River.

So, this means, IF I'm right, that I need more Alex Kingston on DW. Like right now.

So in conclusion, 11, Amy and Rory met River after the Library in my headcanon.

I always find it super weird in the new doctor who seasons whenever they try to push the idea that the doctor has never settled down in one place for an extended period of time because… well he has. Quite a lot actually.

Just off the top of my head I can think of quite a few.

The weeks its implied that 11 spends with the Ponds in ‘The power of three’

The unknown amount of time he spends grieving in the sky of 1980’s London in ‘the snowmen’

The centuries he spent protecting Trenzalore in ‘the time of the doctor’

12’s 24 years living alongside River on Darillium in ‘the husbands of River Song’

And 12’s retired life as a professor watching over Missy in his final season

It’s not overly common but it happens just enough that it always makes me raise an eyebrow whenever they try to do the “the one adventure you’ve never had before” stuff again. Like, some of these are incredibly important to the doctor’s story and it’s always weird when they try to pretend they never happened.

just because YOU don’t know why the eighth doctkr is half human doesn’t mean it’s dumb or bad. there’s literally a reason explicitly given in canon and yet every body is always like “ohh it was a dumb joke” “everybody ignored it anyway” “it wasn’t brought up again”. just say you’re uninformed it’s okay. i promkse you. go read interference books one and two and then you can join the discussion. maybe the blue angel too

I don’t mind genuine critique, but most of the time it's just the usual parroting of 'she had bad writing' with no follow-up—or my personal favorite that she was miscast as the Doctor. And by that, they definitely mean that she wasn't a man but don't want to appear misogynistic, so hide behind the thinly veiled guise of saying Jodie's Doctor didn't suit Chibnall's writing. These backhanded compliments are seriously starting to get on my nerves. If y'all have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, please.

Just watched The Legend of Ruby Sunday, and now my delusions of River being the mother of the Doctor’s children (I blame @sonickedtrowel fanfiction!) is at its PEAK!! What do you mean the doctor doesn’t know his own daughter? That means he doesn’t know the mother of his daughter? AND why does the show keep asking who is my MOM? Wouldn’t she want to know both parents??? No ones looking for dad?? Show’s pushing hard that she’s already found her father AKA THE DOCTOR, and now she just needs to find her mom. Who is tall…and recognizes the Doctor…oooh the clown makeup is ON TODAY!!! So excited!
