Since my D:OS2 poll was quite popular, I figured I'd do one for the OG babies too. Into the fray, once more!

Bellum still hadn't fully recovered.
But what he had done was make a scabbard for the sword he made, and that had been difficult.
The scabbard was heavy. The wood for it was special. And expensive if bought. And a bitch to carve.
It had been worth it.
He held it in his hand. Still exposing the gem.
It burned like a pearl of fire. It felt like it could contain so much power. He still didn't know what it was.
And he wanted someone. Someone not his father to appraise it.
Enter... well. Reyna.
Reyna was no stranger to uniquely forged blades. Her own Anathema was one such example. The blade was made of a glass forged by the soul of a demon. The hilt was adamantium, with a diamond in the center between the handle and the blade. And the pommel was a reinforced emerald, cut into a spear like shape.
So, naturally, she would be able to tell from a glance of the blade that it was something special.
"So, you forged this yourself?" She asks, as she examines it. It's like she can feel Bellum's own essence within the blade.

no because
i am pmsing and i have spent a week having my boundaries disrespected by rando repair guys and i will NOT stand idly by while my special little guy volunteers for squid duty and then kills himself. nor can i backstab my beloved lae'zel... which leaves making orpheus take on squid duty and then killing HIM. which sucks ass but he literally passes the buck to lae'zel and it's narratively satisfying for them both etc etc. meanwhile who gives a fuck if this random guy pulls the squid-suicide routine. who was he. we dont know. hes gone now ig. the only effect is i miss out on epilogue scenes >:((

oh my god
I've had ifan dressed in the charismatic captain's set (the one that looks like a pimp) ever since we left Fort joy
That was hours ago. I was in his equipment page and thought 'huh I don't remember giving ifan short shorts 🤔' It wasn't short shorts.
Ifan's been running around with no trousers on. For at least an in game week! For all of Driftwood to see!

I vibe a lot to characters whose trauma response is to go on a murder path towards the ones who wronged them.
Her Master was hot tho, ngl.

Dave had been raging for hours.
He had practically exploded in a void of space, somewhere far far away. No really. He had exploded in a way that would've made a supernova proud, and decimated an asteroid belt, and put to fire gas giants, and thrown a destructive ball of magic at a dwarf planet that was practically a desolate moon.
He had gone somewhere that had nothing possibly living in it, and raged.
He destroyed what he could, screamed to the void of space, and vented his anger on a fury of draconian roars that echoed to silence.
He could do so much more, but even in this state, Dave knew that there were hard limits on what he should do, even in anger.
It wasn't hard to detect this explosion of power. Reyna's own powers had grown, and so did her ability to sense energy of any varying source and type. And she knew Dave's powers quite well, personally. She could sense his rage.
Normally, people would try to avoid such destructive anger, let it fade out. But Reyna...really wasn't that type. Such anger can be dangerous if not properly assuaged, and this form of venting could only do so much.
Thus, she teleported to the empty space where Dave found himself. With a wave of her hand, she created an atmosphere in the space around them, so that he could speak with her.
"...Dave? What happened? What's wrong?" She asks gently.
