To me, to this day, dieforellex’s “Surviving Peace” will be always my preferred ending for Shingeki no Kyojin.  It has great character development and interactions, timeskip, the setting matches perfectly with what we’ve seen in canon (when the group travels to Marley), Hanji is still alive, SASHA is still alive, and the Titans are no more. No Marley, no ”the whole World hating on Eldians” plot,  which is alright in my book.   And juicy character development for Mikasa and her relationship with herself, with Levi and the world around her.

“Home”

(a RivaMika drabble)

“Make a wish, papa!”

Extended out to him is a little hand holding out a dandelion, the pappus fully bloomed into its puffball nature, loose bristles floating away in the soft spring breeze, a beautiful and carefree sight, just like the bundle of joy that holds it.

She smiles her mother’s smile, an excited glimmer in her eyes that compliments the rosiness of her cheeks, warm and damp from all her frolicking in the vast green fields before them. The young girl tip toes between her father’s legs trying to bring the flower closer to his lips, urging him as she pouts.

“Papa, hurry before the wind blows it away!”

Levi chuckles softly and leans forward to blow gently on the dandelion, the wisps dancing in the air and eliciting chime-like giggles from his daughter’s lips.

“What did you wish for?” She asks excitedly, her curious eyes glistening with so much wonder.

“I can’t tell you, princess,” he wipes some dirt and sweat off her face with his handkerchief, “Otherwise, it won’t come true.”

A long whine escapes her, “Aww, I promise I won’t tell anyone —!”

“Mama, for you!” calls another sweet voice belonging to that of a young boy who comes running back to them from the fields.

Hugging and puffing with a proud and contagious grin on his face arrives the boy, handing his mother a bundle of flowers he had picked from the field himself; excitedly so it appears, as the roots are still intact. Mikasa smiles warmly, stroking his cheek tenderly as she affects his gift.

“It’s beautiful, my love,” she says, her voice soothing and kind, “Thank you so much.”

“I want to get flower for mama, too!” exclaims their pouty daughter in envy.

“Both of you go and gather some more flowers for your mother, then. Let’s see who can get her the most.”

There’s a hint of mischief in Levi’s tone, as he knows just how they will react because, well, they’re his children after all, and if there’s something that they both inherited from him and his wife, it’s their competitive spirit.

“Okay!” Both children chirp before racing off, fusses of who is faster fading into the distance.

Mikasa lets out an exasperated sigh, nudging her husband playfully, “Must you always instigate them?”

“I’m merely giving them more creative ways to bond as siblings,” Levi replies cooly, though with a smug grin pulling at the corner of his lips, “You can’t fault me for that.”

Mikasa could only laugh quietly in defeat, “No, I suppose I can’t.”

“Plus, you deserve more flowers than that,” Levi face softens as he turns to her with that reserved smile of his, taking and stroking her hand comfortingly with his thumb in the pattern she likes, “You deserve a flower field that never ends.”

The glisten in Mikasa’s eyes as she smiles back with a grateful gaze is a reply worth a thousands words. She snuggles in closer to Levi and he instinctively wraps his arm around her shoulder, making the wooden bench they sit upon swing lightly back and forth. Both let out a breath of contentment as they watch their children run and play, chasing one another with flowers in their hands.

The sight warms up Mikasa’s heart like a wonderful dream, except much greater, because it’s no longer just a world built on desperate hope and delusion, but instead a reality — a world where a mother and father can watch their children play freely without the fear of monsters emerging from the woods, a world where the sea is just the sea, and a world where, at long last, 'home’ is definite, always there, always waiting for her, never wavering.

Because home is them.

“Make a wish, Papa!”

“Mama, for you!”

“You deserve a flower field that never ends.”

It will always be them.

Their children’s laughter fills the air as they blow more dandelions into the sky, and its in the very moment she sees them close their eyes to make a wish, when Mikasa finally admits that perhaps, the world isn’t so cruel after all.

"What do you think how life will be if we didn't end up together?" **

Levi smiles and brings Mikasa's hand to his mouth. He kisses their wedding band that is wrapped around her finger. **

"I suppose that's the best part," he says. "We'll never know." **

This question came into my head a while ago. It may seem like a stupid question but I think an interesting one. WHAT IF LEVI ACKERMAN FALLS IN LOVE? Thinking about the way his character is, I couldn't even imagine how would he acts towards the person he's infatuated with.

I mean, I know that Isayama really doesn't have a plan to put Levi in a relationship base on what Levi defined himself as “awkward” when it comes to a romantic relationship LOL, this is just a "What if" tho.

Base on what I've read earlier, Levi does like a girl who's mature, more feminine, brave and a strong one.

The only one that pops into my head is Petra ( I'm not against LeviHan shippers, I'm a LeviHan shipper too) but Hange's not really girlish. We can figure it out base on the way she talks, she acts, and the way she uses words that was commonly use only by Japanese boys like “Omae wa, buko wa etc.” while Petra is an opposite one. She's more feminine than Hange, also brave and strong tho Hange is brave and strong too but the thing is, there's a possibility that Levi would've liked Petra?

Which do you prefer? Hange or Petra?

So here's the thing, would his strong romantic affection change his behavior? In what way? Would Levi only be different towards that person or it would entirely change the way he acts? Would he come out clean to the person and say it or hide it from everyone else? Maybe even denying it to himself? What do y'all think?

From that post, I have to choose, is it Hange or Petra? But I didn't choose either of them and I chose Mikasa because she's the only woman who can make Levi's life change

Ever since Mikasa became part of the Survey Corps and entered Levi's life, I have been confused by Levi's behavior. RivaMika fans must know behind Levi's expression when interacting with Mikasa. Starting from the meeting in court until when they stoping the rumbling. For some reason, Levi's behavior when interacting with Mikasa is very different from other women, namely Petra and Hange

Well, Levi likes women who are more mature, more feminine, brave, and also strong. Do Petra and Hange fall into that category? My answer is no. Petra still falls into that category, but she ends up dying because she can't fight Titan Annie. As for Hange, she is not feminine, aka a tomboy, and she also ends up dying because she can't fight the wall titan. I'm of the opinion that Petra and Hange aren't as strong as Mikasa and can't protect their own lives. So, Mikasa falls into that category because she is a female Ackerman and deserves to be paired with Levi, a male Ackerman

Actually I don't want Levi to end up alone without a life partner. Then, why did Isayama create the Ackerman clan? And why did Isayama only leave Levi and Mikasa? Does Isayama have a goal to make room for them to live happily with their children and grandchildren in the future?

And a funny coincidence to note here is that, the people who ship these non-canon ships are usually the ones who are nice, friendly, and welcoming. While the people who ship the canon ships are usually the ones who are toxic and rude.

Today, I had an argument with a hater who called me dumb because of my fangirl moment on a post. 😑 And so sometimes, I think to myself. Why is it that I find myself shipping non-canon couples? What is it with me that I find other people to ship than what is already pronounced in the series?

But then again, I realize I'm not only shipping couples just for the heck of it. And just because they're canon, doesn't necessarily obligate me to ship them.

I ship and pair people when I see the romance potential in them, when their dynamics can bring fire to the story, or when they can compliment or align with each other in ways I see fit. It's not just about the lovey dovey stuff for me. It is also the understanding, cooperation, trust, functionality, and compatibility that I can see in them that makes a good and healthy ship for me.

If I see that in a canon couple, then I won't have any problems shipping them. That's all the better. But if not, then it's not necessarily a bad thing.

So to you my fellow shippers of the ships mentioned above, don't lose heart over these toxic people. Your choices and preferences don't necessarily define you. It is our attitude on how we handle our ships that does.

Nobody is perfect. But here's to hoping for a fun and healthy social media experience for everyone ~ ❤️

So I stumbled upon this and...

I almost forgot that young Mikasa always kept Eren in line. Like she always throws him around or punches him whenever he does anything stupid or foolish. Like she gets him back to his senses.

This young girl at the tender age of 9 can be this sensible, rational, and level-headed. And yet the same girl at the age of 19 goes, "What should we do about Eren?"

I know there wouldn't be a story if the rumbling wouldn't happen. But still. She could have bitch-slapped him all the way to Marley if she wanted to.

But Yams said NO. We need the toxic relationship and Stockholm Syndrome to happen here 😑

Die for you - The triptych of hurt

Semi ia for the time being, but I thought I could share with you the first page of my erejeankasa/rivamika/arumika story.

The first part of the story is an erejeankasa one, and it's called: "Die for you".

There are some stories that are meant to be told. Jean knew that their love was one of them.

He knew, too, that he was saved the role of the narrator. The words would ooze from his skin and his tongue, and he would just begin to recall, years after—maybe to his children to another woman that wasn’t her, maybe to another friend that wasn’t him—: Eren and Mikasa met under a starry night, a knife and bloody brains scattered over the pavement.

He knew that in their story, he was just an outsider. He knew that even in their tangled love—in what he felt for them, in what they felt for him—there was no place for his own feelings, except if those feelings were called sacrifice.

RivaMika and their children HEADCANONS

While Mikasa is still pregnant with the children, Levi cannot use his cleaning supplies liberally as Mikasa's nose will detect it from a mile away 🤣

First child is a male, second is female.

Boy has blue eyes from Levi and hair with middle fringe like Mikasa. Girl has gray eyes from Mikasa and bangs similar to Levi.

Boy is more carefree, rebellious, impulsive, and free-spir​it​ed. Girl is more prim and proper, serious, and stoic.

My names for their children are Liam for the boy and Miria for the girl.

Both children have Ackerman strength (of course 😍) and awakened once people close to them are in trouble.

When playing with toys, for example a ball, children throw it unknowingly strong due to Ackerman strength and end up damaging walls, furniture, glasses, picture frames, or mirrors etc accidentally. Levi and Mikasa have had to replace stuff or place things only in their master's bedroom because of this 😆

Both Levi and Mikasa are doting to their children and spoil them most of the time.

Mikasa is more lenient when the kids are still young, being an affectionate and caring mother (e. g. fixing the scarf on their kid's neck and fussing over them, buying lots of toys and sweets for them). But becomes more strict when the kids get older like being in Asian mom mode 🤣 (e. g. slipper is ready for when their son comes home later than usual). Though her strictness comes more from being overprotective of their children.

Levi is more strict when the kids are still young, being a cautious and watchful father (e. g. doesn't want their kids eating too much candy, makes kids eat veggies). But becomes more lenient when the kids get older and he'll be like, "Do what you think is right. As long as you don't regret it, and you assume its consequences."

Liam protects his little sister, Miria, and his close friend from bullies by fighting them off with his Ackerman strength. And he'll have a reputation of being the strongest kid in town feared by other children. He's more of the brawn type of kid although he is also pretty clever and can easily pick up on things.

Liam is the type of kid who will get in trouble at school for getting into fights. But the fights are mostly to save his friend or when he is being belittled. Then Levi and Mikasa gets called to the principal's or headmaster's office after the first school day 😂

Miria on the other hand is more quiet and low profile. But people shouldn't underestimate her as well since she is both brains and brawn.

Miria is the type who will report to Levi and Mikasa if her older brother, Liam, gets in trouble. And she'll come up to her brother and be like, "I told you so." or "Told you that was a stupid idea."

Mikasa will encourage Levi to attend Parent-Teacher meetings and events in school. Levi despises the idea but attends anyway. And he'll be all awkward like, "Do I have to do this?" (e. g. trying to dance along with the kids in the event). Needless to say, other mothers and guardians in school will be like, "That father looks so handsome! Do you think he still has a wife?" 🤣

Mikasa will enjoy attending school events. Though she may be awkward at first. But once she gets the hang of it, she will gladly join their kids in whatever tasks they need to do for the event. Other parents will be like, "Such a lovely young mother! Probably some guy just did her and left when she was already with child." 😭
