General | Mob Psycho 100 Cross-Over Gravity Falls 20-05-2023

*slap hand on table* #mp100 x Gravity Falls AU!!!!

Mob and Ritsu has Dipper and Mabel, going to [enter town name] in the middle of butt fuck nowhere to visit a relative.

And they meet Reigen (has grunkle Stan) who owns the Spirit and such Shack, which is a tourist trap.

Reigen who was mostly living a normal life, scamming people out of their money with his tricks and lies, doesn't realise that where he lives is actually filled with weird creatures and spirits that aren't he fake thing eh presents.

Mob who drags him around on adventures believing this man can also use psychic powers like him and can show him stuff. Ristu who follows along because he doesn't trust Reigen one bit (but still ends up having un none the least).

I think Ekubo could be Bill Cipher, minus the whole "wanting to murder everyone, the pines especially". Make him a spirit that wants a cult and is trying to get Mob to help him throughout the story instead, of tricking him and stuff.

Shou as a Pacifica kind of character, although probably not as snob as she is.

I wonder how the other could be included 🤔 I think Tome and everyone else could be friends they make along the way.

Could see Reigen saying this in that AU. Make his life a bit harder than canon mobsai, although maybe not on the same level as Stan

Dimple gets GOT by some rando esper that deals w evil spirits (not Matsuo) the S&S gang are ofc upset bc rando is like "wow this one's p strong! good thing i caught it before it could hurt anyone :]" basically a well meaning guy and all that. rando has Dimple sealed in a jar or something bc they couldn't exorcise him. S&S are like. "ok but that's our friend??? can you let him out plz??" but rando is like "ah no sorry man :[ i pulled out all the stops for this one and was just gonna put it on my shelf or throw it into the ocean or w/e" they are able to convince rando to hand him over and get planning to Free Him (safely)

Mob is v upset. Tome is v upset. Reigen is v upset. we are all sad that our good friend Dimple is trapped in an Artifact. can't figure out what to do until Mob remembers, wait a sec! that claw guy (Matsuo) who was able to fuckin Get Mogami! maybe he knows stuff abt this sort of thing?

problem: no one has any idea how to contact Matsuo (i don't think they even know his name in canon?) so the Gang Splits Up to try to track him down. hitting up other former claws like "hey you know this guy based off a vague description?" trying to see if he's got a business or is affiliated w any "official" psychics. Tome method of just going people watching and Hope

but in the meantime multiple ppl are worried abt Dimple getting stolen or broken if left unsupervised for too long so they kinda pass him around? (kids + Seri can't watch him while at school. Reigen shouldn't have him w/o an esper around (minor angst on that???)) multiple PoV time babyyyyyy B] to see Dimple + Character relationship for various angles

Mob = that's his best friend :[ (who has died at least twice before his very eyes) Reigen = that's Also his best friend (but it's not as bad as Mob since he's never witnessed Dimple fucking Die) Seri = weirdo work friend who must be reliable if his boss + Mob (guy who shot him w the Friendship Laser) like him so much. Tome = work friend and LITTLE GUY!! Ristu = "i mean he gaslit me and tried to steal body but i was kinda acting up at the time and also he apologized so it's whatever". BUT ALSO! Dimple angst since he is only vaguely aware of what's going on outside and time is acting weird in there. he is an evil spirit who has done multiple Evil Things and is also kind of a dick most of the time. maybe everyone realized they don't care actually :[ but anyways when they get a hold of Matsuo that freak (affectionate) is deeply moved by all the fwiendship for ghost 🥺🥺
