to all the people reblogging that Donnie post I made, do keep in mind that these are MY criticisms in mind from MY point of view as a black autistic person(who has made it clear that they actually understand why people do relate to him and that they have seen themselves in him at one point in timr) looking at how he's written and pointing to one particular episode and how it feels icky to me when and if read from a certain angle I never once said that Rise Donnie should be a perfectly written autistic character or be a perfect autistic rep. what is trying to be communicated is how I FEEL and ASSESS where Rise Donnie's characterization falls flat with his autistic rep and his low empathy rep as someone who does kinda hover there combined with how he's written by the creators as well as my general problems with how constantly flagging Donnie, generally the smart one out of the group, as the autistic one is a problem in and of itself.

I am not in the mood to try and defend an analysis from people who just will not read the words I'm trying to say and trying to twist it into bad faith. I can and will gladly clarify certain points tho. Yeah my wording was harsh but I'm also going to be real? I don't expect my posts to take off.

Summary:
