I’ve heard from an anonymous source that during the BFI Panel, the creators said that they were pressured by the American company they were working with on the pilot to expand the world and make it more topical (like southpark).

They also stated that the American company that was interested in the show was pressuring them to have cameos and crossovers with other youtuber’s but they didn’t want to do that because they felt it would lose its timeless feel

And they apparently hate the Pilot and want to pretend it doesn’t exist and it basically means they have no interest in releasing the Pilot officially
