Why Riot Bar Nic Salts Are Perfect for Ex-Smokers
Quitting smoking is a significant step towards improving your health, but the transition can be challenging. For many smokers, finding an alternative that satisfies their nicotine cravings without the harmful effects of smoking is crucial. This is where Riot Bar Nic Salts comes into play. Nicotine salts have quickly become a popular choice among ex-smokers because they deliver nicotine more efficiently and with a smoother throat hit, making the switch to vaping much easier.
This blog will explore why Riot Bar Nic Salts are perfect for smokers transitioning to vaping. We’ll also delve into the unique benefits they offer compared to traditional e-liquids and why choosing the Riot Bar Edition is an excellent way to make your journey toward a smoke-free life smoother.
Tumblr media
1. Smoother Throat Hit: A Key Benefit for Ex-Smokers
One of the primary reasons ex-smokers find it difficult to transition to vaping is the harshness of traditional e-liquids. Many regular vape juices can produce a strong throat hit, which can be uncomfortable, especially for those who are used to the softer sensation of cigarette smoke. This is where Riot Bar Nic Salts shine.
Nicotine salts are formulated to provide a much smoother throat hit, even at higher nicotine levels. This is essential for ex-smokers because they often need a higher nicotine concentration to satisfy their cravings, especially in the early days of quitting. Riot Bar E-Liquid with nicotine salts delivers a gentler, more comfortable vaping experience, closely mimicking the sensation of smoking without the roughness that comes with standard freebase nicotine e-liquids.
2. Faster Nicotine Absorption for Immediate Satisfaction
When quitting smoking, controlling nicotine cravings is crucial. Nicotine salts, like those found in Riot Bar Nic Salts, are absorbed into the bloodstream faster than traditional nicotine e-liquids. This means that ex-smokers will feel the effects of nicotine more quickly, helping to curb their cravings efficiently.
For many ex-smokers, the delayed satisfaction from regular e-liquids can lead to frustration, sometimes pushing them back towards cigarettes. Riot Bar Nic Salts, however, offer a faster-acting solution, making them a reliable option for smokers looking for immediate relief from nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
3. High Nicotine Strength Without the Harshness
When you're transitioning from smoking to vaping, maintaining a consistent nicotine level is essential to prevent withdrawal symptoms. Riot Bar Nic Salts allow ex-smokers to enjoy higher nicotine concentrations without the harshness typically associated with strong e-liquids.
While traditional e-liquids often max out at around 18mg of nicotine, Riot Bar E-Liquid with nicotine salts can deliver nicotine strengths as high as 20mg or 50mg while remaining smooth on the throat. This higher nicotine concentration satisfies cravings more effectively, giving ex-smokers a more successful and comfortable vaping experience. The Riot Bar Edition is perfect for providing this balance of high nicotine strength and smooth vaping.
4. Buy Riot Squad Flavors for a Satisfying Vaping Experience
One of the challenges ex-smokers face when switching to vaping is finding an e-liquid flavor that replicates the satisfaction of smoking. While no vape juice can perfectly mimic the taste of a cigarette, Riot Squad Flavors comes close by offering robust, satisfying tastes that appeal to transitioning smokers.
Tumblr media
When you Buy Riot Squad Flavors, you get various options, from rich tobacco blends to fruity and dessert-like flavors. For smokers who miss the taste of cigarettes, Riot Squad offers tobacco-inspired flavors that provide a similar experience while still allowing for experimentation with more adventurous profiles as your taste evolves.
5. Riot Bar Edition: The Convenience of Disposable Vaping
For smokers who are new to vaping, the learning curve of refillable vape devices and e-liquid bottles can be daunting. The Riot Bar Edition offers a convenient alternative by providing pre-filled disposable devices that are easy to use and require no maintenance.
Ex-smokers can simply open a Riot Bar, take a puff, and enjoy the benefits of Riot Bar Nic Salts without worrying about refilling, changing coils, or dealing with complicated settings. This simplicity is ideal for those who are just starting their vaping journey and want a device that mimics the convenience of a cigarette.
Final Thoughts: Why Riot Bar Nic Salts Are Perfect for Ex-Smokers
Making the switch from smoking to vaping is a significant lifestyle change, and having the right tools can make all the difference. Riot Bar Nic Salts offers a smooth, fast-acting nicotine solution that is ideal for ex-smokers looking for immediate satisfaction without the harshness of traditional e-liquids. Combined with the convenience of the Riot Bar Edition and the wide variety of Riot Squad Flavors, ex-smokers can easily find an enjoyable and effective vaping experience. If you’re an ex-smoker ready to explore the world of vaping, head over to VaporHub to discover the best selection of Riot Bar E-Liquid and Riot Bar Nic Salts. With the right products in hand, you’ll find that quitting smoking and embracing vaping can be smoother than you ever thought possible.

Steddie brain strikes again!
This time with Steve as a former Survivor style competition winner (he auditioned on a dare from Robin) who sued the production company for defamation of character when the show came out and it was edited to make Steve appear mean and bitchy, when the reality was that everyone else in the cast said that he was kind, helpful, and just a joy to be around. And won. (Steve didn’t know it at the time, but Tommy was the reason he got on the show and had been expecting King Steve from high school and instead got Kind Steve and forced the edits [he got fired after the lawsuit]).
Eddie is a rockstar (of course) and head of Corroded Coffin. The band sells out stadiums but likes to do inimate venues like bars and clubs because it gives them a chance to interact with the their fans.
Steve is one of these fans. And goes to a bar concert dressed as he always does. Tight blue jeans and a polo. And he gets to the front of the line to have Eddie (it’s rare to get a signature from the rest of the band, they hate it) sign a vinyl of his favorite record the band did and Eddie greets him cheerfully, asks for his name. Steve refuses to give it because people might not recognize him any more they sure the hell recognize the name. So he just tells him to address it to Eddie’s biggest fan. Eddie does so but senses that some thing is off and asks what wrong. That’s when Steve tell him that he was told he was a fake fan and couldn’t be there for Corroded Coffin. That he must have wandered off the street or something.
Eddie tells him that he doesn’t care what his fans look like as long as they enjoy their music. And tells him to enjoy the show. Steve nods.
After the signing, Eddie goes back to the green room and talks about the polo guy only for Jeff to tell him who Steve is and Eddie is gutted. And completely understands now why he was so reluctant to give out his name. Gareth then tells him that he was pretty sure that Steve left as he didn’t see anyone like that when he went to go grab something from the tour bus.
Eddie is pissed. He goes out on stage and starts one of his rants. He’s famous for them. About how forced conformity works the other way, too. Just because a fan doesn’t look like a metalhead doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy the music. Besides there was no way for them to know why the fan had dressed that way. He could have come straight from work. He could have a home life that makes it hard for him to dress that way, whatever that may look like. Or that could be what the fan likes to wear.
Most of the fans are feeling properly chastised. But there was an asshole close to the front that calls out “Yeah what are you going to do about it?”
“This!” and Eddie walks off the stage.
The crowd is shocked. Eddie Munson just walked away from a concert. Something that had never happened before. Jeff steps up to the mic and says “I’m with him. Free refunds for everyone but that dude. I have your picture on my phone, don’t even try it.”
Then Gareth and Brian look at each and nod. They walk off stage too.
Eddie’s not an ass, he knows he just cost the bar owner a shit ton of money so he goes and finds out how much he’d lose and then cuts him a $5000 check to cover any damage if the crowd riots and they pack up and leave.
The next day Robin comes over screaming about the show Steve was supposed to go to last night. And shows him the video and he turns to her and tells her it’s about him. And tells her what happened last night.
And of course Eddie reaches out and they fall in love.

‘Home’ Headcanons - Tank Edition This is a continuation of the headcanons I made a while ago about what the supports would say home means to them, and what that would look like for them but this time with the tank heroes! My asks are open and any/all requests are welcome - enjoy <3
Akande Ogundimu / Doomfist: If you asked Akande where home was for him, or what he thought of when he hears the word home itself, he would tell you it doesn't yet exist. For him, in order to feel at home, he would need total power and domination. On the other hand, the idea of home is for the weak, in his eyes. Akande views the concept of having somewhere as a safe or comforting place as an acceptance of weakness, and he doesn't want to indulge on such pitiful endeavours.
Hana Song / D.Va: Hana's home is with the MEKA squad back in Korea; she misses them and the work relationships she had before joining Overwatch. Sure, the connections she has now might be up to par or better than the ones she had whilst working with the MEKA squad, but there's something comforting about thinking back to that time when she was mainly concerned with protecting Korea as part of their first lines of defence. She misses the culture in Korea too, the spotlight of her celebrity status there, and misses the connections she had whilst working there. It's always going to be her home, even if things have changed since the last time she was there.
ORISA: Orisa's home is Numbani, it's all she's ever truly known and where she was created. She likes to imagine herself there, when she's away. She takes great pride in her country, often gloating about it to others when they try to speak ill of it. Numbani will always be important for her and, if she had it her way, she would die protecting it.
Odessa Stone / Junker Queen: Home for Odessa has been long gone since she was barred from Junkertown, maybe even before that. She misses the outback of Australia, before the riots and the Omnic Crisis. She misses being a young child, able to explore the streets of her home town without worrying about toxic gases or nuclear explosions going on nearby. She wishes sometimes, that things were different and she could return to that state in time. However, she's learned that without that happening, she wouldn't be the woman she is now, so Odessa's grown to move on and learn to love her new home. She values Junkertown for the experiences it gave her, but she'll never truly feel at peace or comfortable knowing how she was treated as a child by the king previously.
Maugaloa Malosi: For Maugaloa, his home is American Samoa - it's more than just a destination for him, and he'd tell you that if you asked him this question. Samoa, for Maugaloa, is important to him and makes him feel accepted, seen, loved and welcomed. The traditions, family connections, cultural values, etc. all are things he truly appreciates about his native country. On the other hand, he might tell you he feels most at home in the wrestling ring, and if he could have it his way he'd still be competing while working for Talon even with his genetic alterations. Being able to show off his physical prowess makes him feel unstoppable, and wrestling was where he was able to do this the most.
Ramattra: Ramattra would tell you point blank that Earth will never have a home for him. He knows that even with laws and regulations passed that would encourage humanity to open their own homes for Omnics to reside with them, there would still be prejudice, power imbalances, and a general feeling of discomfort knowing that humanity could switch at any second regarding their standing on omnic rights. Ramattra is willing to make a home for him and his people, though, even if he has to force humanity to give them one. No one deserves to feel like they aren't safe or comfortable anywhere, and Ramattra will use any means necessary to create a world where him and his people don't feel this way any longer.
Reinhardt Wilhelm: Reinhardt's home is with the crusaders, it's where he felt his most confident and most able in life. He misses his youth, and often looks back on the fonder memories he has of his time with the crusaders. It's important to him, and ever since his mentor, Balderich van Adler, passed away he hasn't been able to feel at home since. The closest he got was when first working with Ana, learning to let someone into his life again, spending nights dancing under the moonlight with her. Otherwise, he would tell you that he's too old to consider such nonsense now.
Mako Rutledge / Roadhog: Similarly to Odessa. Mako would say his home was the outback before the omnic crisis. He's an indigenous Australian, and so he misses being able to visit places that have cultural significance to him without the after effects of the omnic crisis lingering over those places. It's not something he concerns himself with anymore, and it's something he's grown too stubborn to thing about. He likes to consider himself a nomad, having no specific place that ties him down anymore. It's something he thinks to cope with the fact that a lot of his cultural roots are gone, and all that's left is wasteland.
Siebren de Kuiper / Sigma: Siebren's home would definitely be in the stars, analysing their behaviours and watching as they move through space and time with admiration. Siebren has always had a fascination for space, and has always looked to the stars and galaxies for explanations that Earth itself cannot answer. He enjoys thinking about when he dies, that he'll be within the stars at last and fully comfortable to be himself. It's something he's happy to talk about, so long as something doesn't distract him in the process.
Winston: Winston's home is with Dr. Harold Winston on the moon when he was an infant. He misses Harold a lot, and wishes to have that father figure around still who could be proud of the work he's completing with Overwatch. It's something he looks back on with fondness, but he still considers Overwatch his home as well. Winston feels as though his purpose that Harold helped him realise and grow into is finally realised through Overwatch and the work that's being done on missions. It helps motivate him, and remind him of where he came from vs. where he is now.
Hammond / Wrecking Ball: Hammond's home is in the fighting ring, showing off his skills and his expertise in destroying other opponents. He finds the limelight incredibly fulfilling, and it helps motivate him and feel integrated into the world. He'll never admit this, claiming he doesn't know what home is or what humans consider home. Hammond certainly doesn't consider Lunar Colony his home, after what Winston did to him.
Aleksandra Zaryanova / Zarya: Aleksandra's home is Russia, and always will be. She loves the culture, the way her country fought so fiercly against the omnics during the crisis, and loves to tell people who've never visited the best places to go. Sure, she's not happy with the corruption in the government, and how her brute strength was manipulated far after the omnic crisis, but she still feels as though Russia is where her heart belongs, and she values the life lessons that her experiences there brought her. Like Orisa, she would happily die protecting her country, and that's something Aleksandra would always believe and feel.

chapter five ʚ [the denial]
pairing ʚ Hinata Shoyou x f!Reader x Iwaizumi Hajime
warnings ʚ Iwa's pov, not checked for mistakes, slight swearing, denial of feelings
꒰ ୨୧ ─ ・┈ ・ ─ ・┈ ─ ・┈ ─ ・┈ ─ ・┈・┈ ─ ・┈ ─ ・┈ ・┈ ─ ・┈꒱꒱
The hum of the city filled Iwa’s ears as he stepped off the train, hands stuffed into his jacket pockets. The crisp bite of autumn lingered in the air, sending leaves skittering across the pavement with every gust of wind. He wasn’t one for nostalgia, but there was something comforting about being back in Japan—like slipping on a well-worn hoodie you’d forgotten you owned.
Tonight wasn’t about nostalgia, though. It was about catching up with Mattsun and Makki. Their group chats were always lively, but seeing them in person had become a rare treat over the past few years. Life had pulled them in different directions—work, cities, even countries in Iwa’s case—but somehow, they always found their way back to moments like this.
As he rounded the corner, he spotted the bar, its faint golden glow spilling onto the street. It wasn’t the kind of place they’d have picked in high school—too grown-up, too polished—but it worked. They weren’t kids anymore, after all.
Iwa pushed the door open, the warmth of the room hitting him first, followed by the hum of conversation and the clinking of glasses. He scanned the booths, searching for familiar faces, until he spotted Mattsun already seated, nursing a beer and scrolling through his phone.
“Early, huh?” Iwa raised an eyebrow as he slid into the booth. “Who are you, and what have you done with the real Mattsun?”
Mattsun looked up, his usual lazy grin spreading across his face. “Funny. I could say the same about you. Didn’t expect you to show up on time, Mr. California Dreaming.”
“Guess LA didn’t mess with my sense of punctuality,” Iwa shot back, shrugging off his jacket.
“Makki’s going to have a field day with that one.”
“Speaking of,” Iwa said, glancing toward the door, “where is he?”
As if on cue, the door swung open, and Makki strode in, his usual mischievous energy practically radiating off him.
“Sorry, sorry,” Makki said, plopping down next to Mattsun. “Traffic was terrible. And by traffic, I mean I didn’t feel like leaving my couch until five minutes ago.”
Iwa rolled his eyes. “Some things never change.”
“And thank God for that,” Makki said with a grin, flagging down a server. “Alright, let’s hear it. Who’s got the most interesting life these days?”
Makki leaned back, stretching his arms out. “Mattsun, let’s start with you. How’s the coffee shop going?”
“Coffee shop?” Iwa raised an eyebrow. “I thought you worked at the funeral home. Did I miss something?”
Mattsun shook his head. “Not anymore.” He took a leisurely sip of his beer. “Miyu and I started talking about opening our own business after college, but we couldn’t make it happen right away.”
“So you worked at the funeral home to save up some money?” Iwa asked, taking a sip of his drink. “Damn, Mattsun. Never saw that coming. Mr. Entrepreneur.”
“Imagine him yelling at the baristas about latte art,” Makki chimed in. “This life already sounds pathetic.”
“Nah,” Mattsun said, waving Makki off. “I’ll leave that to Miyu. I just make sure the money flows and the customers don’t riot when someone screws up their macchiato.”
“Macchiato,” Makki repeated, like the word was foreign to him. “Who even orders that stuff? What happened to plain old coffee?”
“It’s called taste, Makki. Maybe try developing some.”
Iwa laughed, shaking his head. “You two are exactly the same. Anyway, what about you, Makki? Still looking for a job?”
“Hell nah, man,” Makki replied proudly. “I’ve started freelancing. Got some gigs editing videos for mid-tier influencers. It’s not glamorous, but better than being unemployed. Plus, I can work in my pajamas.”
“So… no change from high school, basically,” Mattsun deadpanned.
Makki shrugged. “Hey, I’m happy. Besides, I don’t need to third-wheel you and Miyu anymore.”
Iwa chuckled, leaning forward. “You guys are hopeless. Meanwhile, I’m over here trying to make it as a trainer.”
“Yeah, yeah, Mr. Gym Rat,” Makki teased. “How’s that going? Adjusting to Tokyo life?”
“It’s good. Different, but good,” Iwa said. “I started as a trainer assistant for the Tokyo Great Bears. It’s nothing major, but it’s a foot in the door.”
“Dude, that’s not ‘nothing,’” Mattsun said, looking genuinely impressed. “You’re working for a pro team. That’s huge.”
“Yeah, but it’s a grind,” Iwa admitted. “I’ve got a lot to learn, but I’m hoping to work my way up in the next few years.”
“You will,” Makki said confidently. “You’ve always been the most determined out of all of us. No doubt you’ll be running the team before long.”
Iwa smirked. “Thanks for the vote of confidence. We’ll see.”
Makki raised his glass. “Alright, here’s to Mattsun’s coffee empire, my pajama freedom, and Iwa climbing the ranks of pro volleyball.”
They clinked their glasses, a comfortable silence settling over them before Makki’s grin turned mischievous.
“So,” he began, leaning forward, “speaking of volleyball… anyone heard from the old gang?”
Mattsun groaned. “Here we go.”
“What? It’s been ages!” Makki said defensively. “I mean, Kyoutani’s still semi-pro, right? Anyone know if he’s still terrifying his teammates?”
“More like terrifying his opponents,” Iwa said with a smirk. “Last I heard, he’s doing well. Finally found a coach who knows how to handle him.”
“Small miracle,” Mattsun muttered. “What about Kindaichi? Is he still playing?”
“He’s with the Tamaden Elephants,” Iwa said. “Pretty steady career path for him.”
Makki snickered. “Can’t say the same for Watari, though. Did you know he’s working at the Kanagawa Aquarium now?”
“For real?” Mattsun asked, raising an eyebrow. “What’s he doing there? Dolphin wrangling?”
“Something like that,” Makki said, laughing. “And Yahaba? Last I heard, he’s a sports instructor now.”
“Figures,” Mattsun said with a shrug. “Always had that bossy streak.”
Makki’s grin widened as he leaned forward again. “Alright, last one. Shittykawa. What’s our favorite drama king up to?”
“Still in Argentina, still Oikawa,” Iwa said, shaking his head. “Signed another contract and is as smug as ever.”
“Of course he is,” Mattsun said, laughing. “Bet he sends you highlights of every match he wins.”
“Every. Single. One,” Iwa said with mock exasperation. “And don’t even get me started on the selfies.”
Makki burst out laughing. “Some things never change.”
“Nope,” Iwa said, raising his glass again. “And honestly? I’m okay with that.”
Makki leaned back, swirling his drink with a sly grin. “Alright, enough volleyball talk. Iwa, what’s the deal with you and Y/N?”
Iwa nearly choked on his beer. “What?”
“Oh, come on,” Mattsun chimed in, smirking. “Makki’s right. You’ve been glued to your phone every time we talk. And don’t think we didn’t notice the notifications lighting up during that chat about Oikawa.”
“Yeah,” Makki added, leaning in dramatically. “Spill. Who is she to you?”
“She’s just a friend,” Iwa said quickly, his tone firm but his ears betraying him with a faint pink hue.
“Oh, it’s definitely not just that,” Mattsun said with a chuckle.
Makki tilted his head, mockingly serious. “A friend, huh? Like the kind of friend you’d drive all the way to Osaka to meet?”
His stomach twisted uncomfortably. It had been days since she’d told him about her run-in with Hinata. He wasn’t sure what bothered him more: the fact that she’d been hurt again, or how badly he wanted to protect her from it all.
“She’s… different, okay? We met through a mutual friend. That’s it,” Iwa said, trying to keep his tone neutral.
“Different,” Mattsun echoed, his voice dripping with mock sincerity. “Wow, Makki, did you hear that? She’s different.”
“Totally different,” Makki agreed, nodding solemnly. “Definitely not the kind of girl you’d cross cities for, huh?”
Iwa groaned, running a hand through his hair. “Would you two shut up?”
It wasn’t a lie. She was different. From the first time they talked online, there’d been an ease between them, like they’d known each other for years. When she opened up about her past, about the wreckage Hinata had left behind, something in him had shifted. He wanted to be there for her—not because of romance. Or at least, he told himself it wasn’t about that. It was about trust. Respect.
Mattsun leaned back, crossing his arms. “Alright, fine. We’ll back off. But seriously, man, you’re dodging the question. Is there anything there, or are we imagining things?”
Iwa hesitated, fingers drumming lightly on the table. “She’s been through a lot. I’m just trying to be there for her, that’s all.”
Makki’s teasing grin softened, though the playful edge remained. “That’s sweet, Iwa. But you didn’t actually answer the question.”
“There’s nothing to answer,” Iwa said, too quickly. “She’s my friend. End of story.”
Because that’s all she could be, right? Anything more would be too messy. Too selfish. She didn’t need complications, not after everything she’d been through. And maybe he didn’t either.
“Right, right,” Mattsun said, exchanging a knowing look with Makki. “Whatever you say.”
Makki grinned, clearly unconvinced but willing to let it go—for now. “Alright, but when you need tips on how to confess your undying love, you know where to find us.”
“Or better yet,” Mattsun added, “just let us know when the wedding is so we can book our flights.”
Iwa shook his head, chuckling despite himself. “You two are impossible.”
“And you’re terrible at denying things,” Makki said, laughing. “But hey, that’s why we love you.”
As the conversation shifted to lighter topics, Iwa found himself distracted. His thoughts circled back to her. Maybe they weren’t entirely wrong. But whatever feelings he had, they were his to carry alone.

If stede and ed don't open some sort of hostel bed and breakfast type establishment at the end of this show I'm rioting. The perfect intersection of blackbeard's bar and grill etc And Jeff's inn.
The crew who'll stay will stay and mesh well, like Olu as the floor manager, Lucius with linens and bookkeeping, Roach in the kitchen of course, Wee John and frenchie as entertainment and waitstaff, Jim, archie and fang as bellhops/security (izzy manages them), Buttons will still be the helmsman bc plot twist!!! THEY'RE ON A BOAT! Never have to leave the sea.
Edit: I forgot black Pete uhm he'd be the handy man/repair man

HEADCANONS: Trevor Philips (long edition)
TW: -Sexual and suggestive content -Mentions of drugs
Tumblr media
-Have been in and out of pyschwards since childhood to adulthood. His mental health record is bombarded with therapists desperate for referrals and struggling for an accurate diagnosis.
-Babies absolutely hate Trevor. Being near him causes them to cry and cause a scene. He doesn’t even have to do anything to make them cry, being there is enough.
-Used to go to festivals regularly before meeting Michael to sell drugs for easy money (earning enough to skip rented rooms).
-Was apart of a punk band in his later teens but was kicked out for fighting the other members, but also starting a riot in an underground bar when he was supposed to be performing. He played guitar, occasionally backup vocalist.
-Trevor used to go to theatre clubs in his early childhood but his mother couldn’t afford to keep him in the classes (or couldn’t be bothered).
-He looks more like his mother than his father.
-Has a bed-wetting problem, even now (due to his drug abuse and… Well, inability to control his bladder).
-He made Michael help groom his moustache back in North Yankton.
-Has nightmares about jerking off too much that his dick won’t work.
-Trevor will reference hardcore literature quotes but will REFUSE to read any fictional book.
-Can go without blinking for over 5 minutes.
-Believed in Santa until he was 14 years old.
-His voicemail would be like this: *peeing in the background* If you ain’t sucking my meth or dick, fuck off or I’ll come over and rip your scalp off with a butterknife.
-Tried to pose for a mugshot back in North Yankton when he was arrested for drink driving… He tried to pull out his penis and jerk off for the picture but got tackled and restrained.
-Would often find himself trying on strangers high-heels in nightclubs and will proceed to test run in them (one time he fell and broke his nose because of it).
-One Halloween party back in the Mid-West, he dressed as a slutty-priest and ended up sleeping with an actual priest.
-Bites his toe-nails.
-Is a good drawer (but soooo bad at painting).
-Definitely has an eBay account, where he sells used underwear (saying they’re untouched and new) and broken Car Wheels so he can send them off and get money from scamming people.
-Has a collection of panties from hookers and strippers (he uses them sometimes).
-He has MASSIVE feet. I’m talking like… He has to buy boots from military websites because none in shops would fit him.
-Secretly has a fetish of Christian women (and taking their virginity) – This is inspired by Type O Negative’s song: Christian woman.
-Owned a dirt bike before story-mode but he had it taken away by cops (and since hasn’t had it returned).
-Used to make fake female moaning sounds in public places then pretend it wasn’t him so he can watch people argue and fight.
-Has a weakness for women in general. If you’re a lady and you want to buy meth, he’ll lower the prices and will try and persuade you to “spend quality time with your dealer to build trust and foundation” which basically means… So he can finger and have sex with you.
-Has attachments to his flings and hookers (will most likely spam call them when he’s sad or bored).
-His favourite movie is probably pulp fiction or Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Part 1: USA
Hello everyone! Happy pride month!
Last month I stated that coming June I would post about historical queer events around the world. This is part 1 of North America. Later today I will post parts 2 & 3, Belize and Greenland. The pride month calendar can be seen in our pinned post!
That being said, I'm excited to show you what I've been working on. (Also thanks Mom for helping me edit this)
-Soul
Stonewall Inn was one of many bars in Greenwich Village, New York City. It, just like many others, was owned by the Genovese crime family, the local mafia. The family thought it would be profitable to cater towards the gay citizens, shunned by most every other bar and person. Police had been bribed to ignore it, and on the occasions that they did raid the bar, ‘dirty’ cops would send a tip.
June 28th 1969, Stonewall Inn had just experienced a routine raid a couple days before. Officers burst in carrying a warrant, and arrested thirteen people. In order to check if they were truly ‘cross-dressing’, female officers would take them into the bathroom and have them strip
Usually when this happened everyone would let it go, they’d be mad, but they wouldn’t do anything. This time, however, an officer had hit a butch lesbian(widely assumed to be Stormé DeLarverie), in the head with a baton while getting her into the car. She yelled for the onlookers to act, and they did. Bottles, stones, pennies, and other things were thrown at the police. Among the first to throw them were two trans lesbians of color, Sylvia Rivera and Marsha Johnshon. The officers boarded themselves in the Inn, but the crowd had begun setting it on fire. Not long later, the firemen and riot control came and took control of the situation.
This event may be the one we are most familiar with, but it’s not the only thing that happened. Here are some links to other events that happened shortly before and after.

Back in 1987, the AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) epidemic had just been labeled an epidemic. There were very few treatments, and only one FDA approved one. This treatment, called AZT (zidovudine) , was only manufactured by one company. Burroughs Wellcome, a pharmaceutical company, had made the drug nigh inaccessible. The price was so high, that very few people could afford it.
ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power), was created in response to this. Larry Kramer was among the ones to originate this movement. The activist groups scheduled a march on Wall Street in 1987, scheduled to disrupt traffic during the morning rush hour. Activists laid in the street and held signs, chanting phrases like “We are angry, we want action”, and “Release those drugs.” Seventeen activists were arrested, but shortly afterwards the FDA announced it would lower the required time for drugs to be approved from nine years, to seven.

In June of 2015, gay marriage was legalized by the supreme court in the landmark case Obergefell v. Hodges, forcing fourteen states to legalize same-sex marriage.
The case started in 2013, when James Obergefell and his husband John Arthur James, filed a lawsuit in Ohio when they realized that their marriage would not be recognized on Arthur's death certificate.  During the lawsuit, Arthur, who had a terminal illness, passed.
Plaintiffs told Obergefell that state officials were not going to approve his name being on Arthur’s death certificate, but filed the complaint anyway. The judge the case went to, Judge Timothy Black, granted Obergefell a temporary order that would allow Arthur to be marked as wed.
The plaintiffs and Judge Black were not happy with this however, and the plaintiffs amended their complaint, adding two more plaintiffs. They asked that Ohio declare that their refusal to honor out of state marriages on death certificates, was unconstitutional and asked that they would fix it. Judge Black also declared it unconstitutional and banned the state from enforcing it upon the plaintiffs.
The department of health director Wymyslo appealed this, but was unable to see the case through. As was his successor Lance Himes. Himes’ successor Hodges was the one to finally see the case in court, where it was appealed.
Obergefell filed a petition for a Writ of Certiorari with the supreme court, in 2014. In January of 2015, the Supreme Court granted it, allowing the case to be heard. The Supreme Court, decided after much deliberation, to recognize same-sex marriage as a right under the fourteenth amendment.

Stonewall Riots Anniversary
Hi friends, I was a bit overstimulated when I was planning to write this and E is away, so sorry for the short post.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Stonewall Riots is a well known date, when lgbtq+ people rioted against a police raid of a bar in 1969. It was a major event that helped lead to gay liberation.
Here are some links that you might want to take a look at to learn more:
<3 and <3
edit: @/letters-to-lgbt-kids made this post about it.Its a very lovely blog you should check out!

hey oliveoil! Hope you're having a lovely time!
I've got a fem!reader x Kishibe request for you! I made a silly vague post a few days ago about a fic inspired by Fall Out Boy's (shut up cringe is dead) "Heaven's Gate". Tbh Kishibe being any age works just fine for me, as well as either nsfw or sfw! I want to see your take on it, if you feel like it!
Thanks in advance!
first request ever wowee!!
(also for future reference, no not all hc requests will be answered, and yes I will just be doing small hcs/imagines and not full fics)
(ok edit after writing srry this shit is kinda sad)
I imagine this taking place early-mid 80’s considering the punkish vibes we (I) want (and the actual Heaven’s Gate was in the mid 70’s so it’s thematic or whatever). Kishibe is slightly younger, but not middle aged.
(I like to imagine that this is the moment where he just started growing out the gray. Shiny gray roots with black edges.)
As mentioned earlier you’re involved in the punk scene, loud and angry and so not Kishibe’s type. You probably meet him at a bar after or before or in between watching shows and rioting. You’re a bit mouthy, maybe disrespectful (Which Kishibe does like).
At first you probably assume Kishibe is straight laced, even with the piercings and scars he can’t escape looking like a haggard businessman in the suit. He might’ve drawn your attention on purpose, waiting until your leaning in his ear and making fun of how boring he is.
(Later that night he shows you how not boring he is as he fucks you over and over until you can’t even speak.)
Somehow you end up staying. He never makes you breakfast or offers you respect and you don’t do much in return. He fucks you, you fall asleep in his bed, and usually don’t wake until Kishibe has already left for work. If you’re lucky he’ll make enough coffee for two.
And after a month or however long you want to just be fucking him for, you ask for more. You’re not naive, but you are younger than Kishibe and still holding onto the idea of love. If you beg for scraps of his attention he’ll ignore you. If you bug him, desperate for anything more than rough sex, he’ll kick you out for the night. It shouldn’t be a problem because you don’t live together, you can only share his bed a few nights a week. That doesn’t stop you from crying until you can’t see and sulking back to your car.
Finally he tells you why. Kishibe is a piece of shit bastard who is definitely going to hell. You’re the angst filled young adult he picked up in a shady bar. Your idea of rebellion is yelling in the road and chucking beer bottles at buildings. Kishibe is planning government coups.
And it’s not the difference that’s the problem, it’s the fact that Kishibe is definitely going to hell. Even if you were to die (like everyone else he’s ever known) he wouldn’t see you in whatever kind of afterlife exists.
After awhile you understand that, even if Kishibe doesn’t explain it. So you’re satisfied to keep sneaking into his bed every other night and pressing kisses softer than normal against his cheek whenever you stay up longer than him (which is rare).
Kishibe might be confident that he’s going to hell, but right now you’re both on Earth, even if it’s just for the briefest moment.

fuck you tumblr
with that out of the way, hi. here's a medkit i threw together out of the stuff i have in my household supplies. these are australian products and i took this like, two months ago to post on private and forgot to share here.
honorable mentions missing here are bottled water (important for rinsing wounds clean of debris and substances of skin), package of bandaids (for small wounds that can be easily covered), and a tourniquet.
a friend of mine was great enough to give me feedback on the kit (it's good, just needs identifying on where to store it while protesting and what else needs to put in), and suggested:
compressed gauze
powderless nitrile gloves
masks because you're going to be in crowds of people and god fucking dammit nobody takes covid seriously
and, the tourniquet.
and one that i suggest with high caution:
any essential medication the twelve can not try and pin you for. if you get pulled to the side and have a restrictive practice object on you, they'll try anything.
A quick note about the makeup pads I will go over in the item description after the image: alcohol swabs are for cleaning, not drying. the makeup pads are what you use to dry the wound. i've suggested makeup pads here because they're all around applicators, generally inexpensive, and compact.
Storing your medkit: have a designated medkit carrier. if you have to carry semi or fully restrictive medications, or have a lot of people therefore a lot of supplies, or feel as if that might slow you down, store it in your vehicle so you both have a medical station AND a safe place to keep it. most people have a first aid box in their cars nowadays- it's not unusual, and they cannot fucking arrest you for having one in there.
Regular medkit checks: Before the protest, make sure your consumables are still within their expiries. Swap out old medication, put in new stuff. Disinfectant also spoils over time. Make sure single use things like bandaids, swabs, blister packs for pain management aren't broken or opened to expose the contents to outside elements.
Allergies and intolerances: Before you meet up for the protest, ideally, is when you make sure you have your medical bracelets on your person. That way if something happens to cause you to be unable to speak or communicate effectively and a person you do not know tries to give you treatment, they can determine whether you can or not receive particular forms. Common bracelets have penicillin, and diabetes, but can be engraved to have any ailment on them. Look out for a medical bracelet, necklace, or any other form of ID when giving treatment to an unresponsive person.
feel free to add whatever you want to this post, but be constructive about it. this is for palestine, sudan, bali, the congo. this is for rioting against oppression and genocide- not rioting for.
Tumblr media
[Image ID:] General use household items laid out against a beige tablecloth. There are edited in numbers to identify each object. Please ignore the quantity text- .
1: Bandage clasps/bobby pins. Carry as many as you want, important for fixing wound covers.
2. Alcohol swabs. Good for quick cleaning of wounds.
3. Makeup pads/ tissues/ anything good for cleansing and packing wounds. These will take up room in your kit, but are worth having.
4. Antiseptic ointment. Needed for things that look infected. Good for awkward placed wounds that need to be disinfected.
5. Liquid disinfectant. Much stronger than the ointment, can be used to disinfect wounds. Also much better for disinfecting equipment.
6. Bandages. Used in conjunction to your clasps and bobby pins. Watch a few videos on different limb wrapping techniques, practice on yourself or a friend. Get them to do the same to you. Medium crepe is recommended for general purpose woundwrapping.
7. Paper tape. Used for packing down wound dressings from under the bandage.
8. Bars of soap. Useful for unsticking zippers, and can be used to clean equipment and clothes. Incredibly useful.
9. Aspirin and other pain managements. Ensure you have an alternative to penicillin products- very common allergy. Would not carry more than one sheet per person for obvious reasons. Avoid taking very strong pain managers that can be both confiscated as dangerous drugs and pin you for assumed trafficking.
Not included: bottled water (for rinsing, drinking, cleaning) and a tourniquet (i hope you never have to use this in a protest, but you can never be too careful), as well as a box of disposable masks. A plastic bag or two would not be harmful, either.

Sri Lankan protestors are built different. 😂😂😂
[Video description: Facebook video showing a scene of complete chaos and screaming, suffused in clouds of tear gas. A young protestor in shorts with a backpack picks a smoking tear gas cannister off the ground and strides with it along a wall of iron bars, holding out the billowing stream of gas at the cops assembled on the other side. Someone behind the camera eggs him on in Sinhala. The kid places the emptied cannister under a hedge behind a cop in riot gear and runs. The camera pans back to see the canninister thrown high into the air, sailing into a clump of trees in the park beyond./VD]
(PSA: do NOT pick up tear gas cannisters, they are searing hot!)

Hey, just in case people who already have been having a bad time with this meme are retriggered by Francesca Scorcese's TikTok – Goncharov is fake. It doesn't exist. [Edited for further clarity] That is really Martin Scorsese's daughter, that's her real TikTok account, and presumably that is really her father in the chat screenshot she posted. Francesca saw the piece in the NY Times talking about how Tumblr made up a fake movie, sent her Dad the link and asked "Did you see this?" Martin joked back "yes I made that movie years ago." That's all it was, Martin Scorsese himself playing along with our silliness.
PLEASE reblog this and DO NOT TAG IT UNREALITY. "Unreality" is for posts that are keeping up the bit, but info posts, reality-affirming posts and ones talking about the meme as a meme are solidly real. We really haven't been doing a good enough job tagging this properly and protecting neurodivergent people from being gaslit and traumatized. I've seen way too many people saying they nearly had a breakdown because of being lied to. We never meant to hurt you, and I'm so sorry people were jackasses when you wanted to know the truth.
Edit: I love everybody reblogging this, but a handful of idiots have been clowning on this post so here's an explainer about how site-wide disinformation can trigger psychosis. Please go in the replies and notes, they have a lot of interesting insights, by everyone from non-psychotic autistic people with gaslighting trauma to DID systems. You can go through the notes on this post as well.
There's absolutely no reason to be ashamed of loving and enjoying this meme, or to feel bad about not tagging things properly when you didn't know how. And PLEASE don't harass, dogpile or shame people for failing to tag properly or choosing not to. You're just giving people anxiety and policing them. Do what you can how you can, be kind, and don't tell other people their business. That is more than enough.❤️

Another aspect of it is the myth of the "Dark Ages." See, historically speaking, the version of the story that blames Caesar isn't the most common one. It's just the only one that has a faint basis in verifiable historic reality. A lot of 18th and 19th century sources* tend to blame the destruction of the library on religious fanatics -- either Christians or Muslims, depending on which religion the author wants to paint as ignorant philistines. Of course, there's even less evidence for these claims than there is for the Caesar version of the legend.
What's attractive about the legend isn't just the idea that all this ancient knowledge was lost in a single catastrophe. It's the idea of having someone to blame.
*Edit: It turns out that the version of the story blaming Caliph Umar may actually come from medieval Arabic sources... but the earliest seems to be from the 13th Century, 600 years after Umar's invasion of Egypt. And the most complete version of the story seems to come from a writer named Bar-Hebraeus -- who was a Syraic Orthodox bishop. Make of that what you will.
As for the anti-Christian version of the story, that seems to come from the destruction of the Serapeum during the riots of 491. However, it seems that the Serapeum was no longer used as a library by that time.
Thinking about the Library of Alexandria.
Or at least the *myth* of the Library of Alexandria. You know, the greatest Library in the world, a monument of learning and reading and culture, cataclysmically destroyed in one terrible fire, knowledge lost forever, etc etc. It feels like this great tragedy of history, this terrible loss to humanity.
And it's not...true.
We actually have a lot of sources that show that the library had been in decline for a few centuries before then. Between some scholars getting exiled, a general diaspora of the scholars who remained, lack of funding, and diminishing prestige, it seems that the library's collection and scholarship was already greatly diminished, moved elsewhere.
It's true that Caesars troops did set fire to some ships in the harbor in 48BCE, and that fire did spread through the city. The Library was likely damaged, and some of its materials likely destroyed... but not completely. And it was repaired or rebuilt not long after. (One source even hints that it wasn't the library proper, but some warehouses owned by the library near the docks that burned.)
And the Library continued to exist for at least a few more centuries. Never at the same scale and prestige as it has at its height, but still there as a resource to scholars until at least the 270s CE.
But that's less exciting I guess. Less tragic, maybe. Less dramatic. That instead of it being a terrible accident, an act of the Gods, a perfect symbol at how the folly of war can tumble great monuments- Instead its just...about how underfunded Institutions and lack of support from the government towards academics will rot these great institutions slowly but surely.
And I wonder what it says about us that we find one of those stories more emotionally compelling and evocative than the other.

Wattstax (1973)
Often dubbed the "Black Woodstock," Mel Stuart's 1973 documentary "Wattstax" transcends this reductive comparison to present something far more profound: a vibrant snapshot of Black consciousness, pride, and cultural expression in post-riot Los Angeles. The film, documenting the 1972 Watts Summer Festival and its culminating concert at the Los Angeles Coliseum, serves as both a time capsule and a mirror reflecting contemporary discussions about Black identity, community empowerment, and cultural celebration.
Stuart's directorial approach brilliantly weaves together three distinct narrative threads: the explosive concert footage featuring Stax Records artists, Richard Pryor's incisive commentary, and candid street interviews with Watts residents. This structure creates a powerful tapestry that goes beyond mere concert documentation to capture the zeitgeist of Black America in the early '70s. The film's genius lies in how it positions the music not just as entertainment, but as a vehicle for social commentary and community healing.
The concert footage itself is electrifying. When Isaac Hayes, draped in gold chains and performing "Theme from Shaft," takes the stage, it's more than just a musical performance – it's a declaration of Black excellence and autonomy. The Bar-Kays, The Staple Singers, and Rufus Thomas don't just perform; they commune with an audience of 100,000 strong, creating moments of collective joy that serve as powerful counterpoints to the community's struggles.
What sets "Wattstax" apart from typical concert films is its commitment to context. The documentary constantly reminds viewers that this celebration occurs in a community still processing the trauma of the 1965 Watts riots. Street interviews capture residents discussing everything from relationships to religion, police brutality to Black identity. These conversations, remarkably candid and often profound, could have been recorded yesterday – their relevance to current discussions about racial justice and community empowerment is striking.
Richard Pryor's interludes serve as a Greek chorus, providing sharp, humorous commentary that bridges the gap between the concert's jubilation and the community's daily realities. His segments, while entertaining, add a layer of social criticism that prevents the film from becoming merely a feel-good music documentary.
Technically, the film is a masterclass in documentary craftsmanship. Stuart's decision to shoot the street interviews in a direct, unadorned style contrasts effectively with the dynamic concert footage. The editing creates a rhythm that mirrors the music itself – sometimes explosive, sometimes contemplative, but always purposeful. The sound mixing deserves special mention, capturing both the raw energy of live performances and the intimate conversations on the streets with equal clarity.
What makes "Wattstax" particularly relevant today is its portrayal of Black joy as an act of resistance. In an era where discussions of Black lives often center on trauma and struggle, the film reminds us that celebration and cultural expression are equally powerful forms of activism. The sea of raised fists during the playing of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" resonates with modern images of protest and solidarity.
The documentary's exploration of Black entrepreneurship through Stax Records – a label that prioritized Black artistic control and economic empowerment – feels especially relevant in current conversations about Black economic justice and representation in the music industry. The film showcases how Stax created not just music but a model for Black-owned businesses serving their communities.
One of the film's most striking aspects is its refusal to pander to a white gaze. The interviews and performances are unapologetically Black, speaking directly to and about the Black experience without translation or explanation. This approach was revolutionary for 1973 and remains powerful today.
If there's any criticism to be made, it might be that the film's episodic structure can sometimes feel disjointed. However, this very structure mirrors the complexity and diversity of Black experience it seeks to capture – there is no single, simple narrative thread because the community itself contains multitudes.
"Wattstax" remains essential viewing not just as a historical document, but as a blueprint for how art, music, and community can intersect in the service of social justice and cultural affirmation. Its portrayal of a community using music and culture as tools for healing and empowerment offers lessons for contemporary movements. The film reminds us that while the specific challenges facing Black communities may evolve, the power of cultural expression to unite, heal, and inspire remains constant.
