Vol. 16 - The Romance Volume: A Ryuumo Analysis (with a bit of Rinshi)
Part 6
Now, I wanted to explain how this volume is all about romance and it is represented in the titles.
I'm gonna proceed to analyze some of the names of the chapters in the different languages I am familiar with, which is the Japanese, English and Spanish version.
Starting with ch. 68 "Naked Festival" and remembering the incidents that occurred there is more than obvious the emphasis given to the physical attraction of the boys towards the girls. We are also presented with the idea of hidden feelings in relation to love and romance. Thanks to the three wise monkeys, their job is to make people be honest about their deepest feelings and desires, and coincidentally, the one who confronts the monkeys is none other than Ryuuji.
We skip ch. 69 which is "The knights of round table" and is more plot driven than anything else, about the artificial gate to Gehenna and all that. (The end of the world? nahh, we got romance here guys) (also I bet you already know the joke of this specific number so i guess there's that too..?), eh, whatever, moving on.
Then we have ch. 70 "Ambition" which is all about the Ryuumo confession on the balcony, with Ryuuji and Izumo blushing at each other for two consecutive panels and later Ryuuji finding his reason to continue becoming and being and exorcist: which is doing it for love.
The following chapter is ch. 71 with the English title of:
Now I will go deep into analyzing this title.
This phrase means that everyone's view of beauty is subjective, and there's no general standard of beauty.
I like this phrase but is not as intense as how I feel the original Japanese nor even the Spanish one.
Here is the Spanish version, since I own that volume, and I also feel like the title in Spanish is more faithful to the original Japanese, and it reads as follows:
Which translated to English it will be read as:
"Causes and effects of falling in love".
This title is a lot more intense than the English version and is being a dead giveaway to the entire romantic situations happening in this volume.
Then in the Japanese version we have this:
Which upon looking it up on a dictionary app, I found that is a proverb that means:
"No matter how unfortunate it is, you cannot stop love"
or also
"Falling in love is an unfortunate fate".
惚れたが因果 - 「ほれたがいんが」 [ho re ta ga i n ga]
>惚れた (ほれた) meaning "to fall in love" in past tense.
>が is the particle that indicates the sentence subject (occasionally object).
>因果 (いんが) has many meanings which are:
As a Noun:
Cause and effect, casualty.
Karma, fate (Buddhism).
Unfortunate, unlucky, ill-fated.
As an Adjective:
Unfortunate.
Doomed, ill-omened, ill-fated, unlucky, ill-starred.
So, 因果 (いんが) means Cause and Effect and at the same time Karma (fate).
(The first definition being completely loyal in the Spanish translation of the title).
Now, I'm sure you all remember about the character's general info on the second volume of the manga, in which Ryuuji's favorite word was stated to be "Karma".
We know how serious he was on the topic of "Fate" as in related to Buddhism and romance during the Weekend Hero novels that had everything to do with him having a love interest and him believing that this random and weirdly specific girl was going to be his fated one. (Pls also note Izumo's presence in the entire chapter, gee, I wonder wHy).
[Here's the link to the novel and credit to the translator @/harezora, thank you very much!]
And also, if you kindly made sure to pay attention and remember (from my Analysis of Ryuuji's Feelings during the Illuminati Arc), the shirt he was wearing in the hospital hallway, had the words "Cause and Effect" on it.
So, he was wearing a shirt with his favorite words on it, of Cause and Effect that could also be read as Karma and Fate, the same chapter where he blushed cough fell in love cough, for this girl, the moment where he learned he shared the same reason for doing things (love for his family and loved ones), and then seven chapters later (ch. 63 -> ch. 70), we have him confessing his feelings to the same girl with the phrase "I like you better this way" on a romantic balcony, the two of them alone, right after being honest with each other, sharing their doubts, thoughts and worries, showing how much they understood each other, feeling calm and safe enough to talk about that kind of deep and intimate emotions, then having him realize his reason to do things was the same as the girl he told he liked better this way which was also why and what he liked from her, and also remember how he was against anything to do with love and romance stuff and then on the chapter title following his direct confession it has the proverb of:
"No matter how unfortunate it is, you cannot stop love".
(It makes sense that is the following chapter since is about "the causes and effects of falling in love", about him realizing his own developing feelings).
Isn't all this trying to tell us something..? As if the whole a$$ balcony confession wasn't clear enough, Kato sensei rlly added intricate fateful symbolism, that was introduced in the second volume, revolving around Ryuuji and the girl he has been paying attention to since the beginning.
Then ch. 72 is "On the way" which is about how the guys are starting to find their paths: Konekomaru being a system developer for a pokedex- Imean, an app that can identify the demons one is fighting against and give you their general info. Shima decided to apply for the Knight position, Rin is doing his best to study, Ryuuji is becoming a great manager with Lightning and Yukio is finding the truth about his eyes.
And finally for ch. 73 is literally "Love Awakens" and is centered around the Rinshi confession, and Rin finally confessing his feelings to Shiemi and Shiemi realizing that he's talking about love and not just friendship.
So we first got the confession for the secondary couple followed by the main couple just three chapters later, this backed up by a tense moment of physical attraction and long staring on the first chapter of the volume.
This entire volume was about physical attraction, whole a$$ confessions and romance as well as finding your place and role for the future.
And just throwing one last symbolism in here, the number 16 in numerology means introspection, intuitiveness, wisdom, independence, family and self-achievement, representing all the new changes and development that all the characters have been getting, both in their personal (goals), and social (romantic), aspect.
Thank you for following these analysis!! If you were wondering where is part 4 and 5.... ._. I haven't written them yet, lmao, the motivation and inspiration doesn't appear and I had this part on my drafts for months by now (is literally my second draft starting from the beginning) but they will eventually come.
In the meantime, thanks for reading! See you in the next one~!! <3

Hi! One of my favorite rinshi details that I’ve recently noticed was that in chapter 109 when Rin is knocked unconscious by Mephisto, Mephisto uses Rin’s hand to use the kamikakushi key on the door where he is then dumped on Shiemi’s floor. Since we know the key takes Rin wherever he desires I took this to mean that even subconsciously with all the chaos of his trip to the past and witnessing his birth he wanted to see her since they are a source of support to each other. What do you think?
oh! I love this moment (it's in chapter 109) and also find this part so underrated! it's such a subtle but sweet detail that tells so much about how Rin views Shiemi (and we see on her end in chapter 114 when we see her end and she sees him there that it's the same for her)
it's interesting that the key could take Rin anywhere (including in time so likely back to Shiro/happier times when he was younger) and Rin subconsciously the safest place in the world and person he feels the most comfortable with is Shiemi, it's very telling about their relationship as a whole (friendship and love) because at one of his moments he's feeling like a monster and faced with all his fears the comfort he's seeking is from her! also adding the panels from the chapter below!
(also this got long so adding all images under a readmore)
Chapter 109
okay and then in chapter 114: we see once we're at Shiemi's part and her situation and similarly how she's in an uneasy situation and dealing with her own struggles and fears (like she's clearly feeling off around Jeremiah) plus she's got missing memories she's trying to recall
we see she's going through a lot emotionally and feeling very alone and missing her friends while also feeling bad because she's emotional and wishes her friends were there/what would they do in her shoes and thinks to Rin and Yukio (both who she looks to as she finds them strong and gives her encouragement though mainly focusing on the Rin half here <3)
adding a lot of scenes from this chapter! sorry about that
and similarly to Rin’s situation it’s like the moment they thought of each other their wishes were granted, Shiemi also had this whirlwind going on inside but just seeing Rin helped her calm down, and we also see just her voice while he’s dealing with his internal struggle reaches him where he needed as well
it’s funny Shiemi calls Rin (and Yukio) like the sun to her, but we also see a similar exchange through this scene and how even if Shiemi is unaware of it she brings a light to Rin’s shattered world and brought him comfort in a way she’s not aware of, and it’s like you said Anon! what’s so great about that key bringing Rin where his heart desires most and he sees as his biggest comfort is that combine that with Shiemi’s and you really see how that mutual support and care they bring to one another’s lives is the light and comfort guiding them in ways they don’t even expect!
these pages are forever favorites, the way just looking at his face allows her to smile and finally let her emotions out!
I keep adding too many scenes so gonna try to only add small moments from here
I love how once she hears him she can tell something is wrong and then from there we get this:
had to add as many as I could, but this whole scene is beautiful! and I love the visual of when you see her words reaching him and light starting to shine through!
also the end results showing that the comfort they brought each other continues after this interaction to help them carry on and keep moving forward!
I can’t think of what else to add as I kinda went a bit off track here and there and this got longer than intended since I added all these panels rip but thank you for sharing with me what you love about this moment and also giving me the chance to discuss it as well!
there’s so many beautiful aspects to Rin and Shiemi’s relationship, and like you said the way they just are able to show this level of support in each other’s lives is definitely a favorite and one that warms the heart!
it’s also telling how close they are and positive they are in one another’s lives as even when apart the areas they’ve grown because of each other shine through, they’ve really impacted each other’s lives!

Okay, so because of the new season of anime, I’ve been re-reading Blue Exorcist.
And I keep getting reminded of what a sweet little cinnamon roll Rin really is. Seriously, as one fanfic said he’s more likely to try feeding you than killing you.
But to me, it’s super clear in the School Festival arc before everything goes to heck.
Because here’s Rin who, even before finding out Shiemi now went to school fully, just wanted to ask Shiemi to the Dance Party. Partly so he can actually go and also because his crush is on full display here.
Before he can ask her though, she tells him she wants to ask Yukio. (Mainly as a friend but the point remains.)
And what does Rin do? He bows out gracefully, showing his support and wishing her luck. Sure, he mopes about it later around the Kyoto Gang, but he respects her wishes. Even after he finds out that Yukio turned her down, he doesn’t try to butt his way in or anything. Instead he gets mad at Yukio for turning her down.
It makes things a bit awkward for them but they get over it eventually.
Then at the actual party, he does ask her to dance. However, and this is the important bit, he doesn’t force her to choose. He understands her and doesn’t force her. Instead, he drags her over to Yukio and the three of them have a quick dance together.
And this is something I really love about Rin. He respects Shiemi and every other person’s decisions for the most part (he will get pissed off though if he sees you making his mistakes though and urge you not to do it, or see you throw your life away, like with the situation with Suguro and his dad). He is incredibly empathetic and lets people go at their own pace.
You find out he’s Satan’s son and you don’t want to talk to him? Yeah, he’ll be upset but he accepts it. Don’t want to see demons including half-demons like him? He’ll be bummed at the missed friendship but he’ll go on his way. Accuse him of killing your father and try shooting him? He’s actually okay with that (get some self-preservation, Rin).
Choose Yukio over him? He’ll accept it.
Especially in regards to the Shiemi situation, he’s always been aware of and understood that Shiemi probably has a crush on Yukio. It’s pretty clear from the start and that’s part of the reason he held back how he really felt. Her declarations of friendship didn’t help either.
If you’ve fully caught up to the recent manga chapters, you’ll know that even after Shiemi rejected Rin’s confession (mostly because she’s still really confused about how she feels and she wants to focus on becoming stronger), Rin made it clear he’s content with them just being friends.
I just…
I love this kid and how he respects others, especially when it comes to romance. I love when protags maturely handle love and rejection like this.

Vol. 16 - The Romance Volume: A Ryuumo Analysis (with a bit of Rinshi)
Part 1.
Hello, I'm back again with another analysis. This time it will be about volume 16, and since it has so much content, I will need more than one post for it, je.
This analysis will explain how Vol. 16 is the romance volume. It will be specifically centered on Ryuumo (obviously), with a side of Rinshi, but with more focus on Ryuuji's feelings and his situation.
[I'm back from the dead with my Ryuumo posts jajaja. I think I will make this analysis around 5 or 6 posts in total. I will edit this out later too jeje. I also want to try out the edit and interlink feature thingy and I seriously need to fix my tumblr page, is a complete mess and school was killing me but now I'm more free, yassss, also, someone send help I have around 30 drafts saved and my a$$ is sitting on them doing notHing].
Anyways, enjoy~!!
The volume starts with ch. 68, Naked Festival, in which the gang and Shura go to the hot springs (courtesy of Mephisto), to relax after the great battle against the Illuminati in Inari. Here we have some debating of whether to trust Shima or not.
But the other main dilemma is that everyone realizes Shima is trying to spy on the girls. We have Ryuuji asking him what's his deal and why he's been acting so weird since they came there, and Shima answers that is because Izumo, Shiemi and Shura are all naked on the other side of the wall.
We know that this is typical Shima behavior (which shouldn't be normalized by the way), but is still acting according to his main traits, but what is important here is that, when Shima expressed what he wanted to do, Ryuuji didn't seem all that annoyed/angry like how he used to react to Shima's antics before.
Ryuuji seems to find strange, as well as looking confused, worried and panicked by Shima's persistence and willingness to go all the way to look at the girls.
But even despite all this, he no longer chastises him about having interest and/or desires over girls (even though he's still completely oppossed to that blatant display of harrasment).
He's hesitant, as well as Yukio and Konekomaru, to come closer to the three wise monkeys, once they find out they are the cause of this whole problem, and he's the one that actually dispells the influence the monkeys have over Rin and Shima.
But again, he is seemingly no longer oppossed to the harboring of interest and desire over girls, but still opts to keep those feelings, thoughts and desires hidden.
I wonder why the sudden change? What happened that could have provoked such a serious and deep change in Ryuuji's opinion about the topic?
A sudden realization of feelings over a certan girl..? To whom he was shown (during the entire duration of the last arc), to be brooding, angsty, worried, thinking, reacting, being vocal and snapping in tsundere behavior at her demeanor and petitions?
And once she was safe and recovering and witnessed her growth, development, honest feelings and purpose for becoming an exorcist, witnessing her real heart, soul and self, he stood there blushing in silent thought with a look of realization and acceptance?
I seriously wonder what could have been the reason for his sudden change over such a strong personal opinion and topic...
Pssst. He has developed feelings as well.
Also, on the last scene in the hot springs, we see that the wall actually broke down and ended with the girls staring at the guys and viceversa.
(Srry for the censorship, I don't wanna get banned or smt).
At first, I thought it wasn't that big of a deal since four of the guys were standing and looking, but upon analyzing it further, I realized this was just another Ryuumo and Rinshi moment, and just the beginning of the tense romantic (coughand spicinesscough) occasions in this volume.
For starters, Shima is being covered by the wall, half drowning-half fainted, the only ones with at least 80% of their bodies visible are Ryuuji and Rin, while Yukio and Konekomaru have like 30% of their bodies visible, this added to the fact that they don't seem to be the main focus of the panel compared to Ryuuji and Rin.
Now, I will be kind to remind you that both Yukio and Konekomaru wear glasses. Konekomaru could barely distinguish Shima against the wall and the girls are even further away, so it would have been pretty difficult for him to be able to see them.
We don't have a good long example of Yukio's eyesight but based on the character general info from the first volume, it says that he has extremely poor eyesight and in the spin-off manga, Salaryman Exorcist, Yukio couldn't even distinguish Rin in a costume less than 50cm (around 1.6ft.), away from him, so from this we can take that he has rlly bad eyesight and could not see the girls at that distance as well. So with Shima out of the picture, the only ones being able to actually see the girls are Ryuuji and Rin, the main love interests for them.
We skip to all of them sharing a tiring moment after the bath, with Ryuuji telling Rin that his feelings were pretty obvious. (Another moment of Ryuumo being aware and supporting Rinshi).
And then Mephisto looking amused from the results of having planned all this scandal. Meaning that he already knows something, he always knows something.
This covers the first chapter of the volume. I'm gonna skip the next one since is just plot driven and has nothing to do with da ships. And also, if you thought this was already long, buckle up because is barely starting.
Thank you for reading this far!! See you in the next part~~!!!

I've always wanted to do RinShi meta. From the moment I realized they were my literal One True Pairing, I was like, "Yes, Neefa, you have to gush to the RinShi community about how much you gosh darn love this stinkin' ship," and finally, after a decade, I think I've finally gathered my bearings to talk about them. I was talking to some of my fellow RinShi fans about Shiemi's realization in regards to her feelings, and how, while there've been significant moments between them that helped her conclude how she felt about Rin, Kazue Katou specifically chose to highlight certain panels from different chapters throughout the course of AnE during that moment:
Thanks to Grace (@mayhem950), we were able to pinpoint just which chapters each flashback came from:
Chapter 3: Rin and Shiemi meet for the first time.
Chapter 7: Shiemi tearfully declares to Rin that she'd decided to become an exorcist.
Chapter 14: Shiemi finds out Rin's the Son of Satan, and him attempting to laugh it off infuriates her to tears.
Chapter 33: As Rin destroys the Impure King, Shiemi basks in the warmth of his flames.
Chapter 34: Rin tells Shiemi that he thought of her and what she said, giving him the encouragement he needed to keep going.
Chapter 47: Rin asks Shiemi to dance with him at the True Cross Festival.
Chapter 73: Rin confesses to Shiemi.
Chapter 82: Shiemi rejects Rin and his offer to date.
Chapter 98: Shiemi watches Rin die.
Just what is the significance of those moments that flashes through Shiemi's head as her feelings dawn on her? (Also, big shout out to Izumo, who was so completely gentle in coaxing the truth from her lips to the point of embarrassment that she tells Shiemi she's "ugly when she cries," lol. We would've never reached this point if it weren't for you!) From their very first meeting up until the moment she thought he'd died in front of her eyes, each moment plays a pivotal role in how Shiemi feels about Rin. I'm currently doing a re-read of Blue Exorcist because not only do I want to talk about this, but I also want to highlight Shiemi's character growth, and how her lack of self-confidence and belief in herself and her abilities, and her fervent desire to be of use to and help everyone has been a recurring theme throughout her coming-of-age story.
So, be on the lookout for any posts from me concerning Shiemi as a character and, separately, her perspective within RinShi.
#neefa talks#i don't think i'll be tagging these because i don't want to clog up the tags#but i'll be using my own personal tag for it outside of the /rinshi/ tag#neefa rants about rinshi#otp: dance with me#rinshi

fixed a few typos!
also I’m kinda curious but what are some of my followers favorite Rin/Shiemi scenes too? you are free to reblog my post and add on/or make one too and tag me as I’d love to see! we could take this as an opportunity for other’s to also participate in Neefa’s challenge of naming all your top 5 moments with them too if anyone wants <3
Can you draw shiemi putting flowers in rin's hair? Also, what's your fave rinshi moment?
hello! thanks for the ask! omg I love that idea! YES I'll totally try to draw that! I need to! Shiemi the type to make him flower crowns and accessories all the time, no complaints from Rin he loves it! in fact I see Rin as the type to show off to all their friends anything Shiemi does for him like that lol (Shiemi totally I can see making him cute accessories for his tail to hehe)
okay that's a harder question! because my brain tends to think of each moment as integral to their whole relationship, this is RinShi to me every small moment that leads to their growing bond/friendship and the things that makes them slowly realize how much they need one another in each other's lives and how painful the thought of not having each other is! so I will take this opportunity to complete a challenge my good friend @nneefa came up with of naming our top 5 RinShi moments (I started this forever ago back in my RinShi server when she asked lmao so I’m glad to have the chance to complete it!)
it end up long so I’m gonna add a read more
1) first is the Dance With Me scene every time, the tenderness of it all you can basically HEAR how he says "dance with me, Shiemi" no feelings hidden, no holding back to the point when he said that Shiemi, who brushed away even the NOTION Rin might "like" her reconsidered, they spent time with Yukio and had genuine fun and Shiemi... this is the REAL first spark and moment Shiemi confessed she likes Rin, she just didn't realize what it meant yet or how to decipher what it meant and what those growing feelings would blossom into, it was small but beautiful
Chapter 47
just look at them my heaaaaaart!
2.) When Shiemi told Rin she liked his flames, and was just comfortable leaning on him without even thinking and he impulsively told her he likes her. multiple reasons here, but let's start with: Shiemi told Rin one of the things people fear the most, was beautiful. his flames associated for many, including his own internal fears about them/because his heritage and she saw them and told him "it's pretty, Rin, I like your flame" and "it's warm and soothing" she's the first person to tell him his flames are good, she sees beauty and warmth and comfort in something normally feared. and he gets caught up in the moment because he thinks she said she likes him, and in a pure sweet moment with the one person to ever tell him his flames are pretty/warm he confesses a deep, slowly ever growing affection and love he has for her. he's smitten even if things don't turn out as he might have hoped and this all leads to a good thing down the line, because he allowed himself to be vulnerable and tell her.
Chapter 73
this moment while bumpy, is important!
3) this one might come as a shock, but it’s the rejection scene, but hear me out! Rin means so, so much to Shiemi and just the same you see how much Shiemi means to him too come through in this part, you get to see a true selfless love from them both!
just listen, okay so like, thinking when Shiemi rejected Rin, here’s a significant thing that always stood out to me about that part, she wanted to ask Rin to wait for her while she figures things out, she never wanted to reject him and it pained her to do so but she felt selfish at the idea of having him wait around while she figures out and navigates her feelings and how jumbled up she felt since it’s all so new to her.
it hurt her rejecting him, he means so much to her, he’s one of her best friends and she has no idea how this will also affect their friendship moving forward
but than probably what she least expected: Rin’s reaction to what she says and after a little shock he goes right to reassuring her no matter what they are friends. It's not just about whether she likes him romantically back, she’s enough even if they are only ever friends. just building up to telling him she wasn’t ready had to be so hard, but he took something she felt bad about and made sure she knows she matters, in all ways to him.
that is what defines true love for me: wanting to be in each other’s lives no matter what!
and like wanna point out: it hurt for both of them, Rin didn’t just stop all of a sudden having feelings for her but he was mature enough to put them aside to reassure someone he cares that much for and let her know their friendship isn’t just about whether or not they fall in love, but what she means to him already and just being in his life is enough
and hers was about as much as hurting Rin by rejecting him felt/her fears of affecting their friendship and maybe messing it up, she was selfless enough to allow them both space and not have him wait around with promises she’s unsure she can keep while she’s still discovering where her affections lie as she’s still learning about friendship, love and all things in-between.
it’s a big moment that makes way for maturing and growing into themselves too I fell
Chapter 82
Chapter 83
4) okay this one you’ll see why and it’s more sad than anything: when Rin burned up by his own flames and everyone saw him literally die in front of them
Shiemi’s reaction, her hand shaking, when he first started catching on fire and Izumo had to hold Shiemi back from jumping in to try to help as she’s screaming his name and crying, Rin was being hurt and just... that had to traumatize her! (everyone else too but I’m focusing on Shiemi and Rin specifically) this part is a nightmare for her, dare say she thought she lost her best friend
also this will lead into my 5th top moment but almost losing Rin is part of what made her realize she loves him, she had a moment like this she thought he was gone for good and than after he came back he wasn’t his usual self at first and had to be put into a position to defend her and her friends, all still while processing everything, which again had to add this fear she was losing him
it’s just... everything here and I think my words are almost unneeded to describe why all of this part gets to me, but one day I’ll make a proper analysis exploring my thoughts better on this.
Chapter 97
Chapter 98
5) and I’m sure you might be able to guess the fifth moment, it’s in chapter 99 and that’s everything coming full circle and Shiemi realizing she loves Rin too, and I truly believe almost losing him is a big moment why it finally hit her, Rin is a best friend, someone she trusts and can goof off with, she’s gotten to know him through good and bad and slowly but surely those feelings have been evolving and growing for them both and her realizing yes she loves him as a friend, but there’s also something new something she’s never felt: she LOVES him, she has feelings for him, she does like him romantically back
you get to see all these different moments play in her mind: from their first meeting to the present! and I’m gonna try and reword what I've said on this topic before in my server and what I feel is the significance of each moment that flashed in Shiemi’s mind when she realized she loves Rin back each moment that flashes in her mind is important and as I said in the start, this is part of why I view every moment as pivotal for their growth and where they are now, their bond growing, them encouraging one another, caring for each other when they are hurting, misunderstandings that hurt because thinking it would strain their friendship, moments Rin’s caring about her meant a lot to her
they aren’t scenes explaining one facet of their relationship: but the good times, the sad times, the hard times, the sweet moments and confusion
they all come together to make her realize: she loves him, and never wants to lose him again
and than comes the really sad part and our current circumstances: she thinks it’s too late, she waited too long to realize and things are out of her control, she loves him and now he’s out of reach. and realizing hurts, because why NOW of all times
I’ve seen others say they thought Izumo mentioning that she thinks Shiemi likes Rin was what made her come to the conclusion, but I’ve always found that take to miss the fact Izumo was just pointing out what she could tell
slowly and subconsciously the love Shiemi has for Rin has been building without Shiemi realizing, she grew up isolated and with very few people she talked to besides one friend and with that, it’s no wonder it took her time to work through all her new experiences and bonds to finally realizing what she has with Rin is a type of love that’s new to her
it’s friendship, but also romantic it doesn’t have to be one without the other.
Chapter 99
I have so many thoughts and feelings on all this and especially wanna properly i depth analyze all these and other moments more, or more accurate to say: I wanna from the ground up analyze Rin/Shiemi as a whole from beginning to where they are now (and chapter 99 my feelings on each moment and what they mean to Shiemi)
but today it’s definitely not gonna happen, but it is my goal this year! I know this got long but thank you for the ask and I know this got long and analytical but thank you for your message inspiring me to be able to put more into words some of the things that makes RinShi just so compelling to me, how these characters bond has grown and every step of the way made me love them more, in their growing love for each other and their growing into more mature people from the positive impact they’ve had for one another both when a part and together!
#grace rambles#reblogging again for bumping the post and fixed errors I missed#RinShi meta#my analysis
