The World: What does happily-ever-after look like for Rook? Is it attainable, or just wishful thinking?

ahhhh this is a much tougher question than it should be haha, ive sort of been putting off thinking abt what i want to happen for them after the game bc the situation is kind of irrevocably fucked in an unsolvable manner and i think subconsciously they realize this too lol

they grow disillusioned with the crows over the course of the game but never really expect to survive the game so the whole time they're just like at least i'll die before i ever have to deal with that 🤷 but then they DO have to deal with that. they don't want to be a crow anymore, but everyone they love most in the world is still very much caught up in that system, so they can't just leave it, but it would be uh extremely challenging if not outright impossible to change for the better in any meaningful way for obvious reasons

so leaving would mean losing a lot, but staying would probably also mean losing a lot, bc those people they care about will likely either die or become increasingly dehumanized versions of themselves 🤷🤷🤷

they have a fantasy of a future where they're just a regular person who goes to the market and works with their hands and has a modest little apartment and never has to worry about anything more important than keeping track of their finances, but they try not to think about it too much
