i think it totally ruins the episode like how the fuck am i supposed to enjoy it if they look like gremlins?

i'm so fucking upset they didn't do the 'pretty artstyle' for Rina and Masahiro's kiss bc it would've been so much better istg

why didn't they keep doing the same artstyle as the 1st episode of pure? why sabotaging the quality of the anime like that?

LGBT Headcanon Time

This is Rina Tôin from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch.

I headcanon her as asexual and somewhere on the aromantic spectrum--maybe demiromantic. She gets romantically involved with Masahiro Hamasaki in Season 2 (Pure), but hey, that could just be the split attraction model at work.

Rina is a well-rounded protagonist. She's the most mature of the main trio, shown to be reserved but intelligent and caring; however, she also struggles immensely with guilt surrounding the fall of her North Atlantic kingdom and the capture of Noel (the Arctic mermaid princess).
